A wave-tide-circulation coupled model based on the Princeton Ocean Model is established to explore the seasonal variation of the cold water mass in the Beibu Gulf and its mechanisms. The results show that the cold water mass starts forming in March, reaches the maximum strength during June and July, and fades away since October. Strong mixing in winter transports the cold water from sea surface to bottom. The cold water mass remains in the bottom layer as the thermocline strengthens during spring, except for the shallow water where the themocline is broken by strong tidal mixing, which gradually separate the cold water mass from its surrounding warm water. Further analysis on the ocean current and stream function confirms that the cold water mass in the Beibu Gulf is locally developed, with an anticlockwise circulation caused by a strong temperature gradient. Sensitivity experiments reveal that the cold water mass is controlled by the sea surface heat flux, while the terrain and tidal mixing also play important roles.  相似文献

In the past 20 a, the gulf-scale circulation in the Beibu Gulf has been commonly accepted to be driven by a wind stress or density gradient. However, using three sensitive experiments based on a three-dimensional baroclinic model that was verified by observations, the formation mechanisms were revealed: the circula- tion in the northern Beibu Gulf was triggered by the monsoon wind throughout a year; whereas the southern gulf circulation was driven by the monsoon wind and South China Sea (SCS) circulation in winter and sum- mer, respectively. The force of heat flux and tidal harmonics had a strong effect on the circulation strength and range, as well as the local circulation structures, but these factors did not influence the major circulation structure in the Beibu Gulf. On the other hand, the Beibu Gulf Cold Water Mass (BGCWM) would disappear without the force of heat flux because the seasonal thermocline layer was generated by the input of heat so that the vertical mixing between the upper hot water and lower cold water was blocked. In addition, the wind-induced cyclonic gyre in the northern gulf was favorable to the existence of the BGCWM. However, the coverage area of the BGCWM was increased slightly without the force of the tidal harmonics. When the model was driven by the monthly averaged surface forcing, the circulation structure was changed to some extent, and the coverage area of the BGCWM almost extended outwards 100%, implying the circulation and water mass in the Beibu Gulf had strong responses to the temporal resolution of the surface forces.  相似文献

Surveys were conducted in four seasons in the eastern Beibu Gulf from July 2006 to November 2007,to determine the ichthyoplankton composition,abundance,as well as environmental factors impacted on their spatiotemporal distributions.The fish eggs and larvae were sorted from 303 zooplankton quantitative samples,in which at least 1 order,60 families,31 genera and 61 species of fish eggs and larvae were identified.The species number was highest in summer whereas lowest in winter.With the most abundant fish egg (the average density was 2.41 ind./m 3),spring was the main spawning season,while the greatest mean density of fish larva was 1.35 ind./m 3 in summer.In the whole year around,fish eggs had the trends to aggregate in the nearshore of Guangxi coast,fish larvae were more abundant in the northern water.Relationships between fish eggs and larvae abundance and environmental factors were analyzed by using the Yield-Density model.The spatiotemporal distribution of ichthyoplankton in eastern Beibu Gulf was closely related to the Chl a concentration,and the optimal temperature,salinity and Chl a were 19.4-21.7 C,31.8-33.1 and 1.5-4.8 mg/m 3,respectively.Additionally,the distribution of fish larvae could be effected by ocean currents in summer and autumn.  相似文献

通过对北部湾东部海域表层底质样的粒度和重矿物分析,获得了粒度和矿物组成特征。对粒度进行因子分析获得了4个主控因子,其中因子2和3分别代表细颗粒的悬移质组分和陆源粗颗粒推移质组分,指示来自琼州海峡和北部湾西岸、西北岸的物源贡献,而且因子2的高得分区与弱环流背景相吻合;因子4反映了粤西和海南岛东岸沿岸流的物源贡献。采用重矿物组合,将研究区沉积物的物质来源划为4个分区。分别对4个物源分区使用粒径趋势分析模型,把它们合并后获得了整个研究区的趋势矢量,其中海湾北部沉积物输运汇聚中心的位置与余环流的中心位置基本一致,海南岛西部海域沉积物显示为向北输运的特征,与地貌、水动力特征基本吻合,在一定程度上可消除物源混合造成的影响。在使用粒径趋势分析模型获取沉积物净输运方向时,需要综合考虑物源差异和空间尺度对沉积物粒径趋势的影响。  相似文献

琼州海峡东部水进入北部湾对广西沿海环流的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
本文通过对琼州海峡东部水域温盐资料和沿岸海洋站同步观测资料的对比发现:夏季,广西涠洲岛盐度变化规律和琼州海峡东部、中部变化规律一致,广西北海略受影响,而远离琼州海峡的龙门和白龙尾两站,则更多反映夏季陆地水文规律。同时,采用琼州海峡多年海流资料和涠洲岛定点站及近期测流站的海流观测资料对比看出,琼州海峡冬夏季余流方向仍然是自东向西。结合数值模拟计算结果,同样得出琼州海峡东部水自东向西进入北部湾的事实。这些温盐分布特征和余流观测结果进一步证实:粤西沿岸流是琼州海峡水向西输运的主要来源,形成粤西沿岸流这种现象的根源在于珠江冲淡水的西向流,它们通过琼州海峡进入北部湾,加强了北部湾北部气旋式环流的形成。夏季,在强的西南风作用下,产生较强北部湾西岸北向沿岸流,促使低盐冲淡水向外海输运,然后在东部涠洲岛附近形成更大范围内气旋式环流。琼州海峡东部水进入北部湾对广西沿海环流影响的研究,直接向琼州海峡冬夏季水体输运方向的传统结论提出了新的挑战。  相似文献

基于NCEP CFSV2再分析风场驱动SWAN模型,对南海至北部湾为期1年的海浪逐时过程进行了数值模拟,利用Jason-2卫星和近岸浮标整年观测数据检验了模拟效果。在此基础上,评估了模型空间网格尺度对北部湾内波浪模拟的影响,分析了波浪的季节变化特征,辨析了局地风和南海传入浪对海湾波浪的驱动贡献。研究显示:(1)较Jason-2卫星观测值,有效波高模拟值的均方根误差和分散系数分别约为0.4 m和0.2;较北部湾湾顶近岸浮标逐时观测值,有效波高的均方根误差和分散系数分别约为0.2 m和0.4,平均波周期的均方根误差和分散系数分别约为0.6 s和0.2,平均波向的均方根误差约为30°;(2)空间网格分辨率为12'×12'的模型对北部湾20 m以深开敞海域波浪的模拟效果良好,模拟值较2'×2'模型的平均相对偏差在10%以下;(3)北部湾冬季盛行东北向波,夏季盛行偏南向浪,季风转换期盛行东南向浪,全年波浪在季风期强于季风转换期,冬季最强、冬夏转换期最弱;(4)局地风对北部湾波浪的驱动贡献自湾口向湾内增强,季风期强于季风转换期;南海传入浪的驱动贡献自湾口向湾内减弱,季风转换期强于季风期;海湾中部和北部的波浪以局地风为主控因素,海南岛南部和东部水域以传入浪的影响为主,海南岛西南水域受局地风和传入浪的共同控制。  相似文献

通过对南海北部湾东部海域61 个站位表层沉积物粒度和地球化学组成的相关分析和因子分析,探讨了其空间分布特征、元素相关性以及元素组合特征, 揭示了元素在区域上的分布规律和主控因素。结果表明: 绝大多数常微量元素具有相似的平面分布特征, 而MnO、Zr、CaO 和Sr 空间变异系数较大,在部分区域出现了异常高值, 表明其沉积环境受到正常陆源沉积以外其他因素的影响。元素和Al2O3的比值分布特征表明, 广西和海南岛近岸沉积物主要由陆源碎屑沉积组成, 在潮汐和近岸径流作用下,由近岸向远海输送; 而研究区西部海域沉积物主要为来自红河的物质。元素相关分析和因子分析结果表明, 研究区表层沉积物中绝大多数常微量元素主要受沉积物粒度的控制; CaO 和Sr 含量主要受生物活动活跃程度控制; Zr 含量分布主要受控于源区母岩矿物组成以及自源区的搬运距离; 而MnO 含量则受陆源、海底热液以及自生作用等多种来源共同影响。  相似文献

福建中部近海浮游动物生态特征与水团的关系   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
根据2009―2010年在福建中部近海24°55’―25°13’N、119°11’―119°32’E水域冬、春、夏3个季节的调查资料,分析该水域浮游动物的种类组成、区系特征、优势种和多样性指数,讨论了这些生态特征的季节变化及其与台湾海峡三季水团变化的关系。结果表明,三季共鉴定浮游动物96种,其中冬季24种,春季48种,夏季72种。从适温性上看,浮游动物以亚热带种为主,并从冬季到夏季,呈现出亚热带种比例升高,暖温带种比例降低的趋势。从适盐性上看,浮游动物在冬、春季以近海种为主,在夏季以外海种为主。从冬季到夏季,外海种比例逐渐升高,近海种的比例逐渐降低。浮游动物的优势种在冬、春两季各有3种,在夏季有7种。冬、春两季的优势种以暖温带近海种为主,如中华哲水蚤Calanus sinicus、小拟哲水蚤Paracalanus parvus、近缘大眼剑水蚤Corycaeusaffinis等。夏季的优势种以亚热带种为主,如亚强真哲水蚤Eucalanus subcrassus、汉森莹虾Lucifer hanseni、凶形箭虫Sagitta ferox等。三季的多样度以夏季最高,冬季次之,春季最低。上述生态特性的季节变化规律与台湾海峡的季节性水团变化密切相关。台湾海峡内冬、春季以低温低盐性质的沿岸流为主,夏季受高温高盐性质的海峡暖流水控制,水团的转换使调查水域的温盐度由冬季到夏季不断升高,从而进一步影响到浮游动物的生态特征。  相似文献

为研究北部湾地区海砂填料的动力特性,采用高级动态三轴测试系统开展循环荷载下的动三轴试验,研究不同围压及不同动应力幅值对海砂动力特性的影响规律。试验结果表明:轴向累计应变随围压增加而减小,围压150 kPa时振次10 000后应变仅为3%;随着动应力幅值的增大轴向累积应变随之增大,且达到破坏标准的时间越短。动弹性模量随着动应力幅值和围压的增加而增大,不同围压下动弹性模量随动应变的增加出现先骤减再略减后稳定的发展趋势,εd>0.3%后开始趋于稳定;不同动应力幅值下动弹性模量出现先增后减直至稳定的趋势,其中动应力幅值对动弹性模量有明显的影响,围压影响相对较小。孔压比随动应力幅值增加而减小,随围压增加而增加。  相似文献

利用光学显微镜、分子生物学方法,对分离自广西北部湾海域的三角棘原甲藻Prorocentrum triestinum BBW-02藻株的形态特征进行了描述,并探讨了其分子系统进化关系。三角棘原甲藻BBW-02细胞呈长卵形或披针形,细胞长20~26μm,宽10~14μm,顶刺形如矛尖,刺丝胞孔数量较少,排列不规则,主要分布于壳板边缘,距离细胞底端1/3处壳板两侧各有2个近于对称排列的刺丝胞孔。18S rDNA序列同源检索和系统进化分析表明,三角棘原甲藻BBW-02与其他地理株系的三角棘原甲藻聚为一支,亲缘关系密切,遗传差异仅为0.000~0.001。与其他种类相比,三角棘原甲藻BBW-02与同属中的P.gracile亲缘关系最近。  相似文献

In this study we used two stable isotopes, δ13C and δ18O, for water mass classification in the coastal region off eastern Hokkaido. δ13C* values, which were corrected for the biological effect, and δ 18O values up to 300 m depth suggested that the isotopic character of the onshore and offshore water in the southern Okhotsk Sea, the Nemuro Strait and the western North Pacific could be explained by the mixing of three source waters: the Oyashio water (OYW), Soya Warm Current water (SWCW) and East Sakhalin Current water (ESCW). In summer, δ 13C*-δ 18O plots indicated mixing between SWCW from the southern Okhotsk Sea and OYW in the Pacific coast of southeastern Hokkaido, while temperature-salinity plots of the onshore water showed minimal difference from the offshore OYW. In winter, on the other hand, the mixed water of ESCW and OYW (or SWCW) appeared in the Pacific coastal region, distributed as cold, low salinity onshore water. Finally, we estimated mixing ratios of OYW, SWCW and ESCW in the coastal region of western North Pacific using their mean values of δ 13C* and δ 18O as endmembers. These results suggest seasonal and yearly changes of water mass combination en route from the southern Okhotsk Sea to the western North Pacific.  相似文献

Some of the islets in the eastern Beibu Gulf are covered by Quaternary volcano strata. The rock samples from these islets mainly consist of quartz tholeiites (at Shenjiandao), olivine tholeiites (at Linshidao and Xieyang- dao) and alkali basalts (at Yangpubi and Jianshidao), and basically represent four periods of the Quaternary volcanism of Hainan Island and its adjacent regions. Except for the samples from Shenjiandao, most of the Quaternary volcanics of these islets belong to alkali magma series. The trace element characteristics of all of these samples show they are OIB (oceanic island basalt) -like, which implies that their deep geodynamic setting may be related to a mantle plume. The Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic compositions show that the mantle source beneath the Quaternary strata can be regarded as a result of binary mixing between a depleted, DMM (de- pleted MORB mantle)-like source and an enriched mantle type 2 (EM2). The EM2 may be originated from the Hainan mantle plume, and has been metasomatized by carbonaceous fluids released from ancient re- cycled oceanic crust at an asthenospheric mantle level. These features, together with typical trace element ratios, reflect that the parent magma was not subjected to crustal contamination during its ascent to the surface. This study provides further petrological and geochemical evidence for the existence of the Hainan mantle plume.  相似文献

应用LISST-100现场激光粒度仪于2006年8月在北部湾首次进行了悬浮颗粒剖面测量,获得了整个垂直剖面的悬浮颗粒现场粒径分布、体积比和光衰减系数,并计算得到了垂直剖面的总浓度和各层的粒度参数及粒级组成。结果表明,悬浮颗粒自上而下均为双峰分布,只是表层的双峰位于5.57μm和34.4μm,中间层和底层的双峰位于34.4μm和129.4μm。悬浮颗粒体积比自上而下逐渐增大,到达底层时达到最大。光衰减系数的变化趋势与颗粒体积比非常相似,且二者存在很好的相关性,相关系数高达0.98。整个垂直剖面上,表层粒度较细,随着深度增加粒度逐渐变粗,到达底层时粒度最粗。悬浮体总体上正偏,峰态值较小,分选较差。粒度以砂为主,粉砂含量次之,不舍黏土。  相似文献

Hydrographic data collected from Gulf of Aden since 1920 have been compiled to identify and refine the definitions of water masses in the Gulf of Aden (GA) and to describe their spatio-temporal variability. Four water masses have been identified based on their θ-S characteristics. The Red Sea Water (RSW) that flows from the Red Sea is the most prominent water in the GA; this occupies about 37% of the total volume of Gulf of Aden. The Gulf of Aden Surface Water (∼3%) forms as a mixture of local water and the water from western Arabian Sea during winter and Red Sea surface water during summer. The intermediate water, identified as Gulf of Aden Intermediate Water (GAIW), occupies about 9% of the total volume of GA; a characteristic salinity minimum is associated with it at σθ=26.50 kg m−3. The northward spread of sub-tropical subsurface water from the south appears to be the major source of GAIW. The bottom water, named Gulf of Aden Bottom Water, showed the least variability. It was formed due to the mixing of Red Sea Water and water of southern origin. Mixing triangles have been used to analyze the composition of water in the GA.  相似文献

根据近45 a涠洲岛气象站近地面测风资料统计北部湾海面夏季西南大风的气候特征,并用NCEP/NCAR再分析资料对2015年7月下旬出现的一次持续性西南大风进行成因分析。研究结果表明:(1)北部湾海面西南大风是一种低压(或低涡)大风,造成此次持续性西南大风产生的根本原因是中南半岛-南海西南季风持续增强;(2)西南季风增强起源于南半球澳大利亚北岸冷空气活动;与90°~110°E越赤道气流、南亚高压的加强东扩和西太平洋副热带高压的加强西伸有密切关系;(3)北部湾海面不断有南海热带低压、西南低涡和北部湾低涡等低值系统生成发展或移近或移入。  相似文献

对海洋结构物而言,污损生物不仅增加其水下部位表面粗糙度,显著增大波浪所引起的动力载荷效应,sup>[1],而且还能改变金属腐蚀过程,引起局部腐蚀或穿孔腐蚀,并妨碍水下检测、保养和维修等工作的进行[2,3].因此,在开发利用海洋资源时,必须预先对特定海区污损生物群落的结构特点及发展趋势有所了解,以便人们经济、有效的角度选择防污手段和制定清除保养计划.  相似文献

The peculiarities of the vertical hydroacoustic structure of surface water masses in the tropical Atlantic are reported. The near-surface acoustic channel in areas of strong freshening of oceanic waters by continental discharge and rainfall is studied. Quantitative characteristics of the seasonal variability of the channel's parameters are given. The mechanism responsible for the long-range acoustic conductivity in the upper layer of waters is analysed. The areas of maximum horizontal refraction in the near-surface layer are identified and the refraction angles of acoustic rays determined.Translated by V. Puchkin.  相似文献
