Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) collects dense 3D topographic information in the form of points. LiDAR data can be displayed either through direct rendering of the point cloud or by generalizing features extracted through classification or segmentation. We are working in the domain of visualizing LiDAR data sets and have developed certain pipelines for visualization. These pipelines have been presented elsewhere. We present a technique for the evaluation of visualization schemes for LiDAR data, by conducting a visualization experience survey for 13 pre-processing and visualization schemes where 60 participants rated these schemes on a 10 point scale on a questionnaire. The paper establishes a ranking for the different visualization schemes described herein. Finally, this paper establishes that our heuristic-based algorithm (presented elsewhere) performs almost equal to a classification-based visualization pipeline made using professional software. 传统点云处理软件为单机运行,Web点云应用较少,随着5G与WebGL技术的发展,3D Web应用的开发是未来的发展趋势。在地铁隧道工程中,实现隧道点云的快速处理与可视化是重要的需求之一。为满足地铁隧道点云的Web可视化需求,针对地铁隧道点云空间分布特点实现了一种格网与多分辨率八叉树结合的海量地铁隧道点云数据索引模型。采用B/S(browser/server)架构,以WebGL为基础,可适应不同点云密度来达到更好的Web端渲染效果。在满足标准las点云格式处理需求的基础上实现了自定义格式处理的功能,对数据I/O(input/output)进行优化,索引构建上效率进一步提高。使用Three.js引擎对渲染机制与效果进行了优化,通过设计实验证明了方法在地铁隧道点云数据管理与Web快速可视化上的有效性。 相似文献

Automated 3-dimensional modeling pipelines include 3D scanning, registration, data abstraction, and visualization. All steps in such a pipeline require the processing of a massive amount of 3D data, due to the ability of current 3D scanners to sample environments with a high density. The increasing sampling rates make it easy to acquire Billions of spatial data points. This paper presents algorithms and data structures for handling these data. We propose an efficient octree to store and compress 3D data without loss of precision. We demonstrate its usage for an exchange file format, fast point cloud visualization, sped-up 3D scan matching, and shape detection algorithms. 为满足海量地铁隧道点云的高效处理需求,提出了一种R树与格网结合的海量地铁隧道点云管理方法。针对隧道点云的空间分布特点,在全局将大范围点云划分到格网中,并使用R树管理非空网格;在局部使用八叉树与四叉树混合的索引方法管理单个网格内的点云。为了提高点云的渲染效果,提出了基于网格面积的多细节层次结构(levels of detail,LOD)回溯构建方法,并采用高效的单文件存储方式存储点云。实验结果证明了所提出的方法在海量隧道点云的管理和可视化方面优于传统方法。 相似文献

针对现有的云计算平台成本和系统复杂度高、不适于在普通台式电脑进行部署的问题,结合系统设计思想和云计算相关理论,构建了遥感影像云计算平台原型系统。该系统框架结构划分为系统依赖库、物理资源层、系统实体层、应用支持层、遥感应用层和用户界面层,包括云存储、云计算和数据可视化等三个子系统。实验结果表明:该系统可以在普通桌面电脑上进行部署,并且支持遥感影像的存储和处理,验证了基于云计算的海量遥感影像存储和处理关键技术,为遥感影像高效存储与快速处理提供了必要的现实支撑和理论参考。 相似文献

常规激光点云数据通过将激光点云与彩色影像进行融合,将影像所富含的色彩信息赋给相应的激光点云、可形成一种"纹理丰富、颜色直观、位置准确"的真彩色点云成果,不同类型相机拍摄得到的影像对激光点云赋彩色的原理和过程均不相同。文中基于移动测量系统及360°全景影像的测绘高新技术,研究全景相机拍摄的影像与激光点云的匹配、融合,提出一种基于共线原理的由全景影像给激光点云赋彩色的算法。算法充分利用全景影像360°可视以及激光点云位置精确的特点,经实验验证算法推导正确,生成的真彩色点云色彩纹理细致,空间位置准确。 相似文献

With the wide use of laser scanning technology, point cloud data collected from airborne sensors and terrestrial sensors are often integrated to depict a complete scenario from the top and ground views, even though points from different platforms and sensors have quite different densities. These massive point clouds with various structures create many problems for both data management and visualization. In this article, a hybrid spatial index method is proposed and implemented to manage and visualize integrated point cloud data from airborne and terrestrial scanners. This hybrid spatial index structure combines an extended quad‐tree model at the global level to manage large area airborne sensor data, with a 3‐D R‐tree to organize high density local area terrestrial point clouds. These massive point clouds from different platforms have diverse densities, but this hybrid spatial index system has the capability to organize the data adaptively and query efficiently, satisfying the requirements for fast visualization. Experiments using point cloud data collected from the Dunhuang area were conducted to evaluate the efficiency of our proposed method. 相似文献

将采用地面三维激光扫描(terrestrial laser scanning, TLS)、地基合成孔径雷达干涉测量(ground-based interferometric synthetic aperture radar, GB-InSAR)和无人机航空摄影测量(unmanned aerial vehicle photography, UAV)的综合遥感方案应用于崩塌体应急监测。引入迭代最近点法(iterative closest point, ICP),首先实现TLS点云和UAV影像离散点云配准;然后,利用几何映射方法实现GB-InSAR二维形变图与TLS点云三维匹配;针对崩塌体应急缺少人工目标辅助校正几何映射偏差的问题,综合目视解译以及峰值相关性分析提取各数据间的同名特征点,根据同名特征点计算空间坐标变换参数,建立变换方程来完成误匹配纠正。利用所提的匹配方法处理模拟数据及某滑坡崩塌残余体实际监测数据,结果表明实测匹配精度达像素级,满足应急监测需求。 相似文献
