台湾花莲碧玉因其浓厚的颜色以及较细腻的结构和特殊光学效应受到广大消费者的喜爱.本文运用常规仪器、电子探针等测试手段研究台湾花莲碧玉宝石矿物学特征.通过科学全面系统的研究与前人资料对比可得,碧玉样品的颜色主要为淡绿-深绿色,颜色较为纯净,分布不均匀.内部可见黑色金属矿物杂质.具油脂-丝绢光泽,微透明-不透明,折射率为1.61,相对密度2.96~3.02 g/cm3,硬度为6~7.碧玉的主要组成矿物为透闪石或者阳起石,次要矿物包括铬铁矿、铬钙铝榴石、透绿泥石.电子探针结果显示,碧玉样品的主要元素成分为MgO、SiO2、CaO,以及少量的FeO和微量的Cr2O3、MnO、K2O、Na2O、Al2O3、TiO2.根据样品数据的对比可以推测,碧玉颜色的深度与FeO的含量呈正比,当碧玉含有铬钙铝榴石包体时,碧玉颜色更鲜艳.  相似文献

This study deals with a geoarchaeological examination of the jade artifacts unearthed from the major sites of jade-using cultures over Neolithic China. The earliest examples of true jade—tremolite-actinolite nephrite—were jade artifacts from the Chahai site at Fuxin in Liaoning, dating back to the 6th millennium B.C., approximately contemporaneous with the beginning of the Neolithic age. The expansion of jade-using culture during the Neolithic period was gradually from east through west China. The jade-using culture thrived especially in both the lower Yangtze River and Liao River valleys, and came to a climax during the late Neolithic period when not only could nephrite be discerned from jadelike and other minerals and rocks, but also nephrite of various grades could apparently be deliberately used to make jades of different types according to their importance in social life. It may be suggested that the raw nephrite used to make jades during the Neolithic age was derived from unknown ancient deposits that might be within China proper rather than at Kunlun Mountain.  相似文献

采集阿拉玛斯和田玉山料和喀拉喀什河(墨玉河)的和田玉样品,利用显微镜和背散射图像、电子探针等研究手段,结合以往全岩数据对和田玉的形成和致色因素进行了综合分析。研究发现,除透闪石以外,和田玉中还含有大量的绿帘石、透辉石、绿泥石、锆石、磷灰石、尖晶石、石榴石、重晶石、阳起石、闪锌矿、磁黄铁矿、石墨、方解石和氢氧化铁等多种副矿物; Cr、Ni含量(100×10-6)及Mg/(Mg+Fe2+)-Si投点显示这些样品均属于大理岩型软玉(和田玉)。全岩及其微区成分分析结果显示,从白玉(TFe_2O_3=0. 33%~1. 42%)、青白玉(TFe_2O_3=0. 43%~0. 96%)至青玉(TFe_2O_3=0. 77%~3. 97%),TFe_2O_3含量逐渐增加,而且所有样品的Cr和Ni含量都分别低于60×10-6和20×10-6,说明从白玉、青白玉至青玉,颜色的加深与透闪石中铁元素含量逐渐增加有关。墨玉的颜色主要与透闪石集合体中的石墨和Fe(OH)3等细脉大量出现有关。为深入研究和田玉的致色因素,同时采集了加拿大的碧玉样品进行对比,发现同样主要为透闪石组成的加拿大碧玉,除Fe外,还含有大量的Cr元素(1 400×10-6~5 100×10-6),碧玉的颜色鲜艳与透闪石C位中含有0. 01~0. 03 a. p. f. u.的Cr有关,而和田玉中Cr含量较低,在C位中几乎为0。通过野外观察和岩相学分析认为,含和田玉的镁质矽卡岩的形成经历了接触变质、接触交代变质和硫化物阶段,主要通过交代镁质大理岩、透辉石、绿帘石等矿物形成,而和田玉的主要形成机制是多期次的细粒透闪石交代粗粒透闪石。  相似文献

The origin and geodynamic setting of the Maden Complex, which is situated in the Bitlis-Zagros Suture Zone in the Southeast Anatolian Orogenic Belt, is still controversial due to lack of systematic geological and geochemical data. Here we present new whole rock major-trace-rare earth element and Sre Nd isotope data from the Middle Eocene volcanic rocks exposed in Maden Complex and discuss their origin in the light of new and old data. The volcanic lithologies are represented mainly by basalt and andesite, and minor dacite that vary from low-K tholeiitic, calc-alkaline, high-K calc-alkaline, and shoshonitic in composition. They exhibit enrichments in large ion lithophile and light rare earth elements, with depletions in high field strength elements. Basaltic rocks have uniform Sr and Nd isotope ratios with high εNd(t) values varying from t5.5 to t6.7, in contrast to, andesitic rocks are characterized by low εNd(t) values ranging from à1.6 to à10. These geochemical and isotopic characteristics indicate that two end-members, a subduction-related mantle source and a continental crust, were involved in the magma genesis. Considering all geological and geochemical data, we suggest that the Eocene Maden magmatism occurred as a post-collisional product by asthenospheric upwelling owing to convective removal of the lithosphere during an extensional collapse of the Southeast Anatolian ranges.  相似文献

We report geochemical data, SHRIMP zircon ages and Hf-in-zircon isotopic compositions for Cenozoic granitoids from major fault systems in the Tethyan belt in western Yunnan Province, southwestern China.Four magmatic pulses occurred in the Paleogene, namely at ca.57 Ma, ca.50 Ma, 45–40 Ma, and 38–34 Ma.Early magmatism of this episode(57–50 Ma) produced S-type granites whose zircons yielded εHf(t) values of-5.0 to-0.3.In contrast, late magmatism of this episode reflects heterogeneous sources.Zircons from a granite porphyry along the Ailaoshan-Red River fault system have slightly positive εHf(t) values suggesting derivation from relatively young crust and/or a juvenile source.However, zircons from a granite along the Gaoligong fault system have strongly negative εHf(t) values and suggest derivation from a Paleoproterozoic crustal source.The composition of the granitoids varies with age(from ca.57 Ma to ca.34 Ma) from peraluminous to metaluminous and also suggests a change from syn-collisional to late-orogenic tectonic setting.A new tectonic model, impacting lithospheric wedge(ILW) is shown for the origin of Paleogene granitoids in this paper.  相似文献

Sixteen unpublished analyses of Broken Hill manganese silicates (two pyrox‐mangite, one rhodonite, four hedenbergite, and nine bustamite) from the papers of the late Dr W. T. Schaller are presented. They have been complemented with additional analyses by the electron microprobe to define the compositional fields of these minerals. Data are provided on the relationship of these minerals with tephroite and garnet. The occurrence of roepperite (zincian tephroite) at Broken Hill is discredited, and its validity is doubtful. Dannemorite from Broken Hill has a composition close to Mn2(Fe,Mg)5Si8O22(OH)2, and can be considered a valid amphibole subspecies.  相似文献

Xenotime (YPO4) of detrital, diagenetic, and hydrothermal origin within siliciclastic rocks of the Archaean Witwatersrand Basin, South Africa, has been identified on the basis of petrography and in situ ion microprobe (SHRIMP) age data. The chemical composition of xenotime, determined by in situ electron microprobe analysis, can be correlated with its origin. This allows the origin of any xenotime grain to be assessed by a non-destructive microanalytical method prior to ion microprobe geochronology. The main chemical discriminators are MREE-HREE abundance, normalised HREE slope and Eu anomaly, and, in some cases, U and Th contents. Igneous-detrital xenotime (> 2800 Ma) is distinguished from diagenetic (∼2780 Ma) and hydrothermal (< 2780 Ma) xenotime in having lower Eu, Dy, and Gd concentrations and a distinctively lower Gd/Yb ratio. Hydrothermal xenotime has distinctively lower U and Th concentrations when compared to igneous-detrital and diagenetic xenotime. Three separate hydrothermal fluid events and episodes of post-diagenetic xenotime growth are recognised in the geochemical and geochronological data, which correspond in time to the extrusion of the Ventersdorp lavas at ∼2720 Ma, the emplacement of the Bushveld Igneous Complex at ∼2061 Ma, and an event of unknown affinity at ∼2210 Ma. Although geochemical discrimination of the xenotime types from the Witwatersrand Basin, in combination with careful petrography, appears achievable, universal application of these discriminators to xenotime in other sedimentary basins remains untested.  相似文献

The Yurungkash and Karakash rivers, also known respectively as the White Jade and Black Jade rivers, located in Hetian, Xinjiang Province, Northwest China, are the two main sources in China of white, green, and black placer nephrite, with a long history (~ 5000 years) of exploration and mining. The twenty-nine placer nephrite samples collected from both rivers and analyzed in the present study possess fine-grained and compact microstructures. The mineral assemblages in the samples provide clues to the metamorphic/metasomatic processes that formed the nephrite, which was the result of one of the following reactions: dolomitic marble → tremolite, or dolomitic marble → diopside → tremolite. White nephrite from the Yurungkash River and green nephrite from the Karakash River are predominantly tremolite. Based on electron probe microanalytical data, backscattered electron images, and Raman spectra, two kinds of black nephrite from the Karakash River are identified: one dominated by actinolite aggregates, and another consisting of tremolite aggregates with graphite crystals up to 2 mm in length. Compared with black nephrite, white and green nephrites contain fewer mineral inclusions and have lower FeO and MnO contents. All the amphiboles in the nephrites have very low contents of Cr2O3 (0.00–0.07 wt.%) and NiO (0.00–0.05 wt.%) relative to serpentinite-related nephrite (0.07–0.43 wt.% Cr2O3, 0.08–0.36 wt.% NiO). Most of the nephrite samples have low total rare earth element (ΣREE) contents, ranging from 12.22 to 49.40 ppm. In two nephrite samples, relatively high ΣREE concentrations (161 and 190 ppm) are related to the presence of REE-bearing minerals. Whole-rock REE chondrite-normalized patterns of all samples are characterized by strong negative Eu anomalies (0.16–0.48), moderate light-REE enrichment (La/NdN = 1.8–5.0), and nearly flat heavy-REE distributions (Gd/YbN = 0.3–1.7). Nephrite samples from both river locations have δ18O and δD isotope compositions ranging from 1.1‰ to 5.6‰ and − 55.7‰ to − 72.4‰, respectively. These values are closer to those recorded in dolomite-related nephrites than those in serpentinite-related deposits. Importantly, δ18O and δD values correspond to fluid isotope compositions of δ18O = 1.6‰ to 6.1‰ (330 °C), 1.8‰ to 6.3‰ (350 °C), and 2.5‰ to 7.0‰ (430 °C), and δD = − 34.9‰ to − 52.5‰ (350 °C to 650 °C). These values are close to or within the field of magmatic water. Geochemical and petrographic characteristics point to a dolomite-related metamorphic/metasomatic origin for nephrite at both locations. The placer nephrite is likely to have been derived from primary nephrite deposits in the Kunlun Mountains around Hetian, based on the geological occurrence of the deposits.  相似文献

采用空间分辨率高和高灵敏度的质子微探针和微束PIXE技术,测定地幔流体结晶后各组成矿物的微量元素组成及其在不同矿物内的分布状况。对云南双沟蛇绿岩中存在的地幔交代作用进行的研究结果表明,由地幔流体结晶而成的矿物(单斜辉石、尖晶石、石榴石、绿泥石),其微量元素组成与分布特征受地幔交代作用过程的控制。这对于进一步探讨双沟地幔交代作用过程中微量元素的地球化学行为很有意义  相似文献

The Jiuyishan complex massif, located in the northern section of the Nanling region, is a combination of five plutons, namely, the Xuehuading, Jinjiling, Pangxiemu, Shaziling and Xishan plutons. Whole-rock geochemistry, mineral electron microprobe analysis, zircon U-Pb dating and Hf isotope analysis were carried out for the Jinjiling and Pangxiemu plutons. The zircon U-Pb dating yields weighted mean ages of 152.9±0.9 Ma for the Jinjiling pluton and 151.7±1.5 Ma for the Pangxiemu pluton, with a narrow gap between them. The Jinjiling and Pangxiemu plutons both have geochemical characteristics of high SiO2, Al2O3, Na2O, K2O and low TiO2, MgO, CaO, P2O5 contents, with intense depletionS in Sr, Ba, Ti, Eu and enrichments?in Ga, FeOT and HFSE, and these characteristics reflect an A-type affinity. From the Jinjiling to the Pangxiemu plutons, the mineral composition of mica changes from lepidomelane to zinnwaldite, with increases in F, Li2O and Rb2O contents. The mineral composition of zircon changes from low Zr/Hf to high Zr/Hf, with increasing HfO2, P2O5 and UO2+ThO2+Y2O3 contents. The mineral compositions of feldspar indicate that the Pangxiemu pluton contains more alkali feldspar than the Jinjiling pluton. The whole-rock geochemistry and mineral compositions reveal a higher degree of differentiation for the Pangxiemu pluton. The nearly uniform εHf(t) indicates the same source region for the two plutons: both were derived from partial melting of the lower crust, with small contributions of mantle materials. In addition, higher F, lower Nb/Ta and Zr/Hf ratios in the Pangxiemu Pluton suggest a closer relationship with the rare metal mineralization than for the Jinjiling pluton.  相似文献

古玉产地溯源研究对揭示文明早期玉石资源开发利用和跨区域物质、文化交流等都具有重要的意义。由于测试分析手段及研究样品本身的制约,古玉产地溯源至今仍然是制约古玉文化交流研究的难题及瓶颈。近年来,随着研究的深入及科学测试手段的进步,地质、考古及文博界开展了更为密切的跨学科合作,对古代玉器产地溯源技术进行了许多新的探索,并取得了一些较为重要的成果。本文在团队工作及前人研究的基础上,对质子激发X射线荧光(PIXE)、X射线荧光光谱(XRF)、激光剥蚀电感耦合等离子体质谱(LA-ICP-MS)、电子探针(EPMA)等多种主微量元素地球化学分析测试技术及放射性同位素、稳定同位素地球化学技术在古代玉器产地溯源的应用情况进行了梳理,综合分析了不同测试方法在古玉溯源中的工作进展,并对当前古玉产地溯源研究中存在的问题进行了探讨。总体来说,岩矿地球化学分析测试技术的应用对古玉溯源研究起到了重要的推动作用,而对已知玉矿资源系统的地质学研究及玉料的主微量元素、同位素地球化学数据库的建设和新的无损、样品尺寸不受限的原位岩矿地球化学分析技术的开发及其在古玉样品测试中的大规模应用,应是未来古玉溯源研究工作的重点方向。  相似文献

Two ring-like artefacts from the aceramic Neolithic site of Demirköy Höyük in southeastern Turkey were analysed using geochemical techniques in order to determine whether they were prepared using a bitumen amalgam or not. The artefacts, dated 8100 BC, are early evidence of the innovative use of a petroleum-based material to prepare pieces of ornaments (beads, rings, etc.) for the elite of a Neolithic settlement. In order to trace the source of the presumed bitumen, two oil seeps, Boğazköy and Yeşilli, were sampled. To complete the genetic references, geochemical data on crude oils from the main oil fields from the area were compiled.Basic geochemical data show that bitumen is present in the artefacts. Sterane and terpane patterns, as well as carbon isotopic data on C15+ saturated and C15+ aromatic hydrocarbons, allowed us to conclude that the Demirköy Höyük bitumen and the Boğazköy oil seep were generated from a Silurian source rock. The detailed geochemical characteristics show, however, that the Demirköy Höyük bitumen does not correlate perfectly with the Boğazköy oil. This discrepancy suggests several explanations: the real bitumen source may be elsewhere in the vicinity and has not been discovered or was at the Boğazköy oil seep location but with slightly different properties in Neolithic times, or has disappeared. Another possibility is that the slight molecular differences are due to weathering effects, which affected the pristine bitumen within the archaeological sample.  相似文献

采用扫描电子显微镜、电子探针、X射线粉晶衍射、红外光谱、拉曼光谱等测试方法对新疆和田-于田县矿区产出碧玉的结构特征、组成矿物成分进行了测试与分析,得到新疆和田碧玉的典型显微结构为纤维交织结构。组成矿物颗粒呈纤维状、粒状交织排列,进而形成了其手标本细腻的质地与高韧度。和田碧玉为闪石质玉石,主要矿物成分为透闪石,并且含有铬铁矿、绿泥石、蛇纹石、辉石、磷灰石等杂质矿物,透闪石随铁含量的增加向阳起石过渡。  相似文献

The Lower Proterozoic Warramunga Group of the Tennant Creek area consists essentially of slates, phyllites and greywackes. ‘Porphyroidal’ rocks of pyroclastic origin, consisting of quartz porphyry and quartz-feldspar porphyry, form conformable horizons within the Warramunga Group and both show the same structural evolution. Recrystallization of phengite and chlorite in the Warramunga rocks was synchronous with regional folding and took place under greenschist facies conditions. Recrystallization of groundmass matrix into phengite and chlorite in the ‘porphyroidal’ rocks also took place under greenschist facies conditions during regional deformation. The major elements in coexisting phengite and chlorite from these groups were analysed in 14 samples by electron microprobe. Total analyses of 6 rocks were carried out by X-ray fluorescence spectrograph. Distribution of Mg and Fe2+ between coexisting phengite and chlorite shows a vague linear trend. The distribution coefficient KD(Mg) is influenced in part by XMg of phengite. The tie lines for the mineral pairs on the triangular diagram show a subparallel trend. The Mg/Mg + Fe2+ of chlorite varies sympathetically with the Mg/Mg + Fe2+ of the rock.  相似文献

The present study deals with the direct determination of colloidal forms of iron in river-borne solids from main rivers of the Amazon Basin. The contribution of different forms of colloidal iron have been assessed using ultrafiltration associated with various techniques including electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and micro proton-induced X ray emission analysis (μPIXE). EPR shows the presence of Fe3+ bound to organic matter (Fe3+-OM) and colloidal iron oxides. Quantitative estimate of Fe3+-OM content in colloidal matter ranges from 0.1 to 1.6 weight % of dried solids and decreases as the pH of the river increases in the range 4 to 6.8. The modeling of the field data with the Equilibrium Calculation of Speciation and Transport (ECOSAT) code demonstrates that this trend is indicative of a geochemical control resulting from the solubility equilibrium of Fe oxyhydroxide phase and Fe binding to organic matter. Combining EPR and μPIXE data quantitatively confirms the presence of colloidal iron phase (min. 35 to 65% of iron content), assuming no divalent Fe is present. In the Rio Negro, HRTEM specifies the nature of colloidal iron phase mainly as ferrihydrite particles of circa 20 to 50 Å associated with organic matter. The geochemical forms of colloidal iron differentiate the pedoclimatic regions drained by the different rivers, corresponding to different major weathering/erosion processes. Modeling allows the calculation of the speciation of iron as mineral, organic and dissolved phases in the studied rivers.  相似文献

This paper presents comprehensive geochemical characteristics of highly aluminiferous schists discovered in the Tunka Bald Mountains and associated with the Vendian-Cambrian cover of the Tuva-Mongolian Microcontinent. The Al2O3 content varies within a wide range, the maximum being up to 36.11 wt. %. A specific feature of the geochemical composition of these rocks is the simultaneously high contents of Cr (up to 1400 ppm), V (up to 2700 ppm), and Zr (up to 800 ppm). The origin has been interpreted, and the conditions in which the highly aluminiferous rocks formed have been considered. Based on geochemical data, it is assumed that the main origin could be weathering crusts formed after ultramafic and mafic rocks, with a felsic source playing a secondary role.  相似文献
