The Tabriz area is a densely populated area of northwestern Iran (more than 1.5 million in population) with a large proportion of its drinking, domestic, industrial and agricultural water supplied from groundwater resources. The average rate of drinking and industrial water use in the city of Tabriz is about 3.45 m3 s–1. The Plio-Pleistocene unconfined alluvial tuff aquifer (about 1,275 km2), the most important aquifer in the area, has been known for many years as a reliable resource. The greatest estimated thickness of the alluvial tuff lies in the Saidabad area, with 350 m thickness. There are 994 deep and 284 shallow active pumping wells and 83 qanats operate in the alluvial tuff aquifer. The total water withdrawal from all these artificial discharge points has been measured at 72, 3.8 and 17 million m3/year, respectively. Analytical and numerical methods have been applied to the constant rate pumping test data from the Saidabad wellfield (eight pumping and three observation wells). The values of electrical conductivity in the groundwater of alluvial tuff aquifer range from 203 to 960 μS cm–1 and bicarbonate type water dominates.  相似文献

地质历史上何时何地曾经存在过高原或山脉是人们感兴趣的话题,根据花岗岩的地球化学特征(如Sr和Yb)与其形成压力的关系探讨了这种可能性。花岗岩按照Sr和Yb的含量可以分为5类:①埃达克岩(Sr>400×10-6, Yb<2×10-6)、②喜马拉雅型花岗岩(Sr<400×10-6, Yb<2×10-6)、③广西型花岗岩(Sr>400×10-6,Yb>2×10-6)、④浙闽型花岗岩(Sr<400×10-6, Yb>2×10-6)和⑤南岭型花岗岩(Sr<100×10-6, Yb>2×10-6)。其中除了广西型的含义不清楚以外,其他4类花岗岩的差别可能与其形成的深度有关。埃达克岩与残留相榴辉岩平衡,压力通常大于1.5 GPa,相应的地壳厚度超过50 km。喜马拉雅型花岗岩与高压麻粒岩平衡,石榴子石和斜长石是主要的残留相,压力通常在0.8~1.5 GPa之间,相应的地壳厚度在40~50 km之间。浙闽型花岗岩与角闪岩相(斜长石+角闪石)平衡,压力小于0.8 GPa,相当于正常地壳厚度(30~40 km)。南岭型花岗岩形成于伸展环境,相当于正常或更薄的地壳厚度(30 km或更小)。按照上述标志,根据现有的同位素定年和地球化学资料,在华北北部识别出一个东西向延伸的早中生代的山脉(三叠纪—早侏罗世),称为华北北部山脉。推测该山脉东西长约3000 km,南北宽200~500 km,高度3000~5000 m。山脉大约在早、中三叠世时开始抬升,至晚三叠世达到顶峰,于早侏罗世后垮塌消失,指示西伯利亚板块和华北地块碰撞导致的一次强烈的挤压构造和快速的抬升事件。  相似文献

The Late Oligocene-Middle Miocene Mallorca fold-and-thrust belt is characterised by a large amount of shortening above a detachment horizon. A regional section of 50 km in length across the island shows shortening of 80 km. Nevertheless, earlier normal faults play a significant role in compressive deformation. Two examples illustrating their role are presented: the first example is a fault-propagation-fold nucleated on a normal fault located in the fold core. We present a simple numerical model of this structure that illustrates how the observed complex structural and stratigraphic geometries might develop. The second example is a normal fault that interrupts the detachment level, giving rise to a step that results in a back-thrust system.  相似文献

太行山山前平原地下水补给规律分析:以河北栾城为例   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用水均衡法与通量法对太行山山前平原(河北栾城)进行了地下水补给评价,结果表明:近20 a地下水入渗补给量为8~172mm/a(水均衡法),平均值49.3 mm/a,变化幅度大.其中2004年入渗补给量(63mm/a)比采用通量法计算结果(28.2mm/a)大一倍,表明土壤优先流对入渗补给作用显著.年入渗补给量总体上随有效降雨量增加、地下水位下降速率减少、作物实际蒸发蒸腾量减少而增加,但与有效灌溉量和灌溉量之和的相关性不显著.通过长序列地下水位与灌溉量等数据估算得到研究区侧向净补给量为125.2 mm/a,约占地下水总补给量的71.7%(175.4 mm/a),说明地下水主要以侧向补给为主.同时计算了入渗补给与侧向补给地下水的延迟时间,分别为60 a和1个月.  相似文献

王安镇杂岩体主要由花岗闪长岩、二长花岗岩、花岗岩、石英闪长岩、二长闪长岩组成,LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb测年显示,花岗闪长岩和石英闪长岩分别形成于129±2.7Ma和128.3±1.9Ma,说明该杂岩体形成于早白垩世。王安镇杂岩体具有高Sr/Y比值(3.63~83.5),和高Sr(373×10-6~821×10-6),及低Y(7.36×10-6~22.21×10-6)、Yb(0.95×10-6~1.27×10-6)含量的地球化学特征,这与埃达克岩相似。该杂岩体具有相对低的87Sr/86Sr初始比值(0.706538~0.709484)和明显偏低的εNd(128Ma)值(-18.4~-12.8)。结合太行山中生代中-基性侵入岩中地幔包体已有的研究成果,认为具有高Sr/Y特征的王安镇杂岩体是在下地壳发生大规模拆沉的基础上,随着软流圈上涌其所携带的热促使加厚基性下地壳发生部分熔融,之后熔融岩浆在上升的过程中发生了角闪石的结晶分异和岩浆混合作用形成。  相似文献

Abstract Textural relationships between porphyroblasts of biotite and garnet in metasediments in the Nordkinn Peninsula area of the Finnmarkian Caledonides of North Norway are apparently complex. There is evidence for two textural zones in both mineral phases and superficially the development of these appears to have overlapped, at least in part, in time and space. This apparently complex porphyroblast growth history can be considerably simplified if only one period of garnet growth occurred and if different inclusion fabrics developed where garnet replaced biotite porphyroblasts and where it overgrew the matrix foliation. The possibility that porphyroblasts with textural evidence for multiphase growth histories actually grew during a single crystallization event is of importance in the interpretation and elucidation of tectonometamorphic relationships.  相似文献

This study utilizes three major data sources: distribution of geological units; density, type, age and distribution of mineral deposits; and elemental analyses from regional geochemical stream sediment surveys to define parameters that ‘characterize’ tectonic terranes in northern British Columbia. A similar approach could be applied anywhere in the Canadian Cordillera.This area, NTS map sheets 104N, 104O and 104P along the British Columbia-Yukon border, forms a transect through allochthonous terranes into North American rocks. These are: the allochthonous island-arc Stikine, oceanic Cache Creek, cataclastic Yukon/Tanana, and island-arc Quensel terranes, the pericratonic Dorsey terrane; the parautochthonous oceanic Sylvester allochthon; and the autochthonous miogeoclinal North American Cassiar terrane. Plutonic rocks of Jurassic-Cretaceous to Tertiary age intrude all terranes.Data sources used in the study are geological base maps and reports, the Ministry of Energy Mines and Petroleum Resources' mineral deposit database (MINFILE) and analytical data from the National Regional Geochemical Survey stream sediment and water sampling program.Geological maps were compiled from various sources and plotted to act as bases for geochemical and mineral deposit overlays for analysis and interpretation.Geochemical samples were separated into background and anomalous populations and compared according to their source terranes. We found that mean concentrations from background sample populations for some elements are statistically distinctive for different terranes. Unfortunately, elemental correlation coefficients for the terranes are similar so cannot be used to characterize each terrane.Data on mineral deposits and occurrences were compiled from minfile and other sources. Particular attention was paid to deposits with histories of production or significant reported reserves. Deposits were sorted by type and commodity to produce synoptic metallogenic maps.The combined data from geological, geochemical and mineral deposit databases form a strong tool for interpreting and predicting patterns of mineralization.  相似文献

The late Cenozoic geomorphic features and geochronologic data of the Zhingfang River catchment in the Yuntaishan World Geopark are studied. Several quarternary geochronologic methods, including electron spin resonance (ESR), optically stimulated luminescence (OSL), thermo-luminescence (TL) and U-series are presented in this paper. The results suggest that there are two planation surfaces, named as the Taihang surface which is a peneplain of Taihang stage formed during Oligocene or Oligocene to early-middle Miocene period, and Tang-hien surface which is a mature wide valley of Tang-hien stage formed during late Miocene-Pliocene or Pliocene-early Pleistocene period and probably ended prior to 2.2–2.6 Ma based on ESR dating. After the Tang-hien stage, the incision and aggradation of the river formed six stream terraces with heights of 3–5 m, 8–12 m, 22–24 m, 28–38 m, 50–62 m and 80–85 m above the river bottom, respectively. The dating results of the alluvium sediments suggest that these terraces were formed during Holocene, 20–23 ka B.P., 110–120 ka B.P., 200–240 ka B.P., 840–1200 ka B.P. or ~450 ka B.P. and 1600–1800 ka B.P. or ~1100 ka B.P., respectively. These results indicate that episodic incision of the river, which controls the formation of the scenery in the Yuntaishan World Geopark, was mainly influenced by the periodic dry-wet climate change during late Cenozoic mountain uplift.  相似文献

The Shihu gold deposit, located in the middle-south section of the core of the Fuping mantle branch structure, is hosted in the Archean Fuping Group and adjacent to the quartz diorite porphyrite. The gold deposit is the only large gold deposit with reserves of more than 30 tons gold discovered in western Hebei Province so far. In order to constrain the timing of mineralization of this ore deposit, this paper focuses on the isotopic dating of zircon and pyrite. Zircons in gold-bearing quartz veins are magmatic in origin and no hydrothermal zircon has been found in such quartz veins, indicating that zircons were derived from the wall rocks. U–Pb ages of zircons fall mainly in the two domains: 2492 ± 82 and 136 ± 4 Ma, respectively, indicative of the contribution of the Fuping-Group TTG gneiss and Yanshanian igneous rocks, respectively. The Re–Os isotopic compositions of pyrites in the gold-bearing quartz veins yield an isochron age of 127 ± 31 Ma. Combined with other dating results, we suggest that the main metallogenic age of the Shihu gold deposit is 120–127 Ma.  相似文献

Reactivation of cratonic basement involves a number of processes including extension, compression, and/or lithospheric delamination. The northern margin of the North China Craton (NCC), adjacent to the Inner Mongolian Orogenic Belt, was reactivated in the Late Paleozoic to Early Mesozoic. During this period, the northern margin of the NCC underwent magmatism, N–S compression, regional exhumation, and uplift, including the formation of E–W-trending thick-skinned and thin-skinned south-verging folds and south-verging ductile shear zones. zircon U–Pb SHRIMP ages for mylonite protoliths in shear zones which show ages of 310–290 Ma (mid Carboniferous–Early Permian), constraining the earliest possible age of deformation. Muscovite within carbonate and quartz–feldspar–muscovite mylonites from the Kangbao–Weichang and Fengning–Longhua shear zones defines a stretching lineation and gives 40Ar/39Ar ages of 270–250 Ma, 250–230 Ma, 230–210 Ma, and 210–190 Ma. Deformation developed progressively from north to south between the Late Paleozoic and Triassic. Exhumation of lower crustal gneisses, high-pressure granulites, and granites occurred at the cratonic margin during post-ductile shearing (~ 220–210 Ma). An undeformed Early Jurassic (190–180 Ma) conglomerate overlies the deformed rocks and provides an upper age limit for reactivation and orogenesis. Deformation was induced by convergence between the southern Mongolia and North China cratonic blocks, and the location of this convergent belt controlled later deformation in the Yanshan Tectonic Province. This province formed as older E–W-trending Archean–Proterozoic sequences were reactivated along the northern margin of the NCC. This reactivation has features typical of cratonic basement reactivation: compression, crustal thickening, remelting of the mid to lower crust, and subsequent orogenesis adjacent to the orogenic belt.  相似文献

Three types of zircon occur in a complexly deformed and variably migmatized quartzofeldspathic gneiss from the Reynolds Range, central Australia. The oldest type is inherited from the granitic precursor of the gneiss, and is overgrown by a second group of zircon grains that formed during prograde, granulite facies metamorphism. Partial melting of the gneiss resulted in solution of both the inherited and metamorphic zircon. No new zircon growth accompanied crystallization of the partial melt, suggesting loss of zirconium–rich residual fluids. Hydrous, amphibolite facies retrogression of the gneiss and its migmatized variants during late shearing produced new, idiomorphic zircon in both the shear zone and its wall rocks.
Important implications of this study are that (i) zircon has a tendency to dissolve if it comes into direct contact with a melt produced from anhydrous biotite breakdown in a quartzofeldspathic granulite, (ii) melt crystallization is not necessarily accompanied by zircon growth, and (iii) euhedral zircon can grow from a hydrous fluid phase under subsolidus, amphibolite facies conditions, e.g. within shear zones.  相似文献

On the first of January 1992, unusual earthquake activity started in Steigen, northern Norway. By 31 December, 1992, a total of 207 events had been recorded in several pulses. Among these, several events with magnitudes larger than 3.0 ( M c) were also felt by the people. The epicentral distribution of these events seems to suggest that they all are concentrated in a small region (approximately 10 km in diameter) in the Brennvika Bay (67.8°N, 14.9°E), between Leinesfjorden in the north and Nordfolda in the south. The distribution of events in time is characteristic of a swarm in which no dear evidence of a mainshock–aftershock sequence was observed. Macroseismic intensity surveys as well as synthetic modelling indicate shallow focal depths in the range 5–8 km. Based on a composite focal mechanism, indicating an oblique-slip fault striking NE with a normal component dipping NW, combined with an observed NE trend in the epicentres and the focal depths, these events correlate with a previously proposed fault zone along Nordfolda. The NE trend has been dominant in the area throughout geological time, starting from the Caledonian Orogeny to the post-Caledonian basin developments, as well as the post-glacial and neotectonic structural features. At present, the deep-seated structural anomaly underneath the Lofoten Ridge seems to be the major factor controlling the structural trends in the area. The activity along the Nordfolda fault zone could be related to this large-scale structure, although the causes of the stresses that would create the seismic activity are not very clear, as there are several possible stress-generating mechanisms involved, such as post-glacial uplift of the land masses, the 'ridge-push' effect from Mohn's Ridge, and vertical stresses generated by the sediment loading in the adjacent basins.  相似文献

以重庆金佛山岩溶区为例,分析不同石漠化程度下土壤的指纹电荷特征和土壤养分保持能力,结果表明:不同石漠化程度下,土壤指纹电荷特征变化明显,且呈衔接式-阶梯状发展,即:无石漠化阶段,土壤A、B层保持养分能力最强的pH范围与土壤实测pH较为吻合;轻度石漠化阶段,土壤A层养分保持能力受到明显扰动,而土壤B层养分保持能力与无石漠化的土壤A层较为一致;中、强度石漠化条件下,土壤A、B层保持养分能力的相对平衡点的pH值明显偏酸,这在A层表现尤为明显,主要为人为施肥的结果。并通过土壤有机质及其组分与土壤指纹电荷的相关分析,得出由于土壤富里酸有众多的活性功能团,它对土壤指纹电荷的作用明显大于胡敏酸。  相似文献

Fluid inclusions from a biotite-garnet schist in the Southern Aravalli Mountain Belt (India) give information on both peak metamorphic conditions and post-peak metamorphic processes during uplift. A combination of careful petrography, microthermometry and Raman spectroscopy reveals the presence of at least five generations of enclosed fluids. Lower amphibolite-facies pressure-temperature conditions of the growth of garnet rims are reproduced by the highest fluid density of the relatively oldest inclusion type of CO2 (±N2)-rich compositions. A calculated fluid composition in the COH system, in equilibrium with the graphite buffer corresponds to a CO2-rich fluid at metamorphic conditions. However, the results of these calculations are very sensitive to small fluctuations in oxygen fugacity and the accuracy of thermodynamic properties of mineral equilibria. Re-equilibration, conceived by specific size-density distribution and the absence of an aqueous phase in inclusions that contain nahcolite crystals, is monitored in these inclusions as post-peak metamorphic processes, like partial decrepitation and preferential leakage. The other fluid types represent heterogeneous fluid trapping of coexisting aqueous NaCl-bearing solutions with CO2-CH4-rich vapour bubbles in healed cracks, and probably the introduction of external fluids containing high salinity aqueous CaCl2-rich solutions in nearly pure N2 vapour bubbles, at lower P-T conditions. This study illustrates that fluid inclusions remain a valuable database of peak metamorphic conditions, moreover, alterations of the entrapped fluids and surrounding crystals are illustrative for specific exhumation evolutions. 果干加年山蛇绿岩中首次发现了斜长花岗岩,它对于蛇绿岩的成因研究,特别是对蛇绿岩形成和演化过程的精确年龄测定,具有重要意义。通过野外地质特征和岩石学、地球化学、同位素年代学初步研究,斜长花岗岩具有埃达克岩的特点,如高Al(14.84%~15.35%)、Sr(338×10-6~356×10-6)、Sr/Y值(46.94~55.45)和贫Y、Yb(Y=6.42×10-6~7.20×10-6,Yb=0.56×10-6~0.63×10-6)等。斜长花岗岩锆石SHRIMP U-Pb年龄为348Ma±9Ma,代表了洋壳俯冲的时间。上述地球化学特征表明,果干加年山斜长花岗岩可能是俯冲洋壳高压条件下直接部分熔融形成的,产于消减带之上的环境(SSZ型)。  相似文献

陆坡形态隐含了丰富的地质信息,其差异性是大陆边缘沉积、侵蚀过程长期交互作用的结果。利用横跨南海北部的二维地震测线,采取曲线拟合的研究手段,在南海北部识别出了下凹型、平直型、"S"型等三种类型的陆坡。下凹型陆坡发育在莺歌海-琼东南西部、珠江口中部两个陆坡区,但其成因不同,前者主要受控于快速的沉积物供给,而后者受到陆架边缘三角洲进积和海底峡谷侵蚀的联合作用;平直型陆坡仅见于琼东南东部地区,其主控因素为弱的沉积物供给和较快的构造沉降;"S"型陆坡发育在珠江口地区的两翼,其形成明显受到海流和内波等外作用的改造。不同类型的陆坡具有特定的地层叠置样式、陆架坡折迁移轨迹类型和沉积体系分布特征。对陆坡类型的研究有助于建立沉积过程和产物的预测模式,从而指导古代陆坡的深水油气勘探。  相似文献

The Qinling Mountain range constitutes a critical boundary for climate and vegetation distribution in eastern central mainland China owing to its importance as a geographic demarcation line. In this article, cores from 88 Chinese pines ( Pinus tabulaeformis ) from the southern (MW site) and northern (NWT site) slopes of the Qinling Mountains were used to reconstruct seasonal temperature variations. During the calibration period, significant correlations were found between ring width and the mean temperature from prior September to current April of 0.76 at the southern slope, and between ring width and the mean May–July temperature of 0.67 at the northern slope. The subsequent temperature reconstructions span 1760–2005 for the northern site and 1837–2006 for the southern site. Prior to the mid-20th century, low September–April temperatures were, in general, followed by high May–July temperatures, probably reflecting variations in the winter and summer monsoon. However, since the mid-20th century, both records show trends of a more pronounced increase in September–April temperature on the southern slope. The results provide independent support for the interpretation that recent warming is unusual in nature, coinciding with the observed record. The results compare well with tree-ring based reconstructions from the surrounding regions, suggesting regional signals in the Qinling Mountain reconstructions.  相似文献

Widespread dolomitization and leaching occur in the Asbian to Brigantian (Dinantian) sequence of the Bowland Basin. Within this mudrock-dominated succession, dolomite is developed in calcarenites and limestone breccia/conglomerates deposited in a carbonate slope environment (Pendleside Limestone) and also within graded quartz wackes deposited by density currents in a generally ‘starved’ basin environment (Pendleside Sandstone). The dolomitized intervals range in thickness from less than one metre to several tens of metres and have a stratabound nature. All stages of calcite cement pre-date dolomitization and calcite veins are dolomitized. Dolomite crystals replace neomorphic spar and may also contain insoluble residues that were concentrated along stylolites. Thus dolomitization was a late stage process within the carbonate diagenetic sequence. A late-stage diagenetic origin is also indicated within the sandstones, with dolomite post-dating the development of quartz overgrowths. Six main textural styles of dolomite are observed: (1) scattered; (2) mosaic; (3) subhedral to euhedral rhombic; (4) microcrystalline; (5) single crystal and (6) saddle. The style of dolomite developed is dependent on the host rock mineralogy, on whether it is space-filling or replacive and also on temperature. Chemically the dolomite varies from near stoichiometric compositions to ankeritic varieties containing up to 20 mole % FeCO3. Generally the dolomites have isotopic compositions depleted in δ18O compared to the host limestone, with similar or lighter δ13C values. Initial dolomite was of the scattered type, but with progressive replacement of the host a mosaic dolostone with a sucrosic texture was produced. There was a general increase in the Fe and Mn content and reduction in δ18O ratio of the crystals during dolomitization. Leaching is restricted to partly dolomitized horizons, where calcite, feldspars, micas, clays and, to some extent, dolomite have been leached. This has produced biomouldic and vuggy secondary porosity within the carbonates, whereas in the sandstones honeycombed, corroded and floating grains associated with oversized pores occur. Porosity within both carbonates and sandstones is reduced by ferroan dolomite/ankerite cements. Field, petrographic and chemical characteristics indicate that dolomitizing solutions were predominantly derived from the enclosing mudrocks (Bowland Shales) during intermediate/deep burial. Fluid migration out of the mudrocks would have been sided by dehydration reactions and overpressure, the fluids migrating along the most permeable horizons—the coarse grained carbonates and sandstones that are now dolomitized and contain secondary porosity.  相似文献

南兴安岭地区的晚中生代中酸性火山岩的元素-同位素地球化学分析结果显示,区域上存在同期的两类中酸性火山岩组合。第一类火山岩以满克头鄂博组的安山-英安岩和流纹岩组合为代表,其SiO2为60.0-74.9%,MgO变化在0.36- 2.04%之间,具有LREE略富集的REE配分模式(Ce/YbCN=2.6-3.0)和富集Rb、Ba、K和不同程度的Nb-Ta、Ti-P-Sr亏损的微量元素特征;在Sr-Nd同位素组成上类似于同期的玄武安山岩(87Sr/86Sr(i)=0.70522-0.70709;εNd(t)=-1.5- -0.4),而且在空间上与玄武岩共生,为玄武质岩浆高度分异或同化混染作用(AFC)的产物。第二类以玛尼吐组英安岩为代表,以富Al2O3(15.87-16.36%)、Na2O(4.63-4.79%,K2O/Na2O<0.4)、高Sr(709-832μg/g)、低Y(6.9-10.4μg/g) 和低HREE(如Yb=0.37-0.51μg/g),具有与现代俯冲带adakite岩石相似的特征;在Sr-Nd同位素组成上,它们较同期或近期玄武安山岩更低Sr和高Nd同位素比值(87Sr/86Sr(i)=0.70409-0.70425;εNd(t)= 0.9- 2.1),为造山带下地壳镁铁质岩石的部分熔融产物,其低Y和HREE以及高Sr的特点说明残留源区中有石榴子石存在,而斜长石为主要熔融相进入熔体。在熔融动力学方面,同期的玄武岩浆底侵提供大量的热源导致下地壳镁铁质岩石的部分熔融作用。南兴安岭地区晚中生代不同成因类型中酸性火山岩为造山带伸展背景下岩石圈地幔起源的玄武岩浆底侵作用和深部岩浆房分异的结果。  相似文献

果干加年山位于羌塘中部的龙木错-双湖-澜沧江板块缝合带之内,出露有蛇绿岩、晚古生代浅变质岩系等。新近在该区发现了榴辉岩,以透镜体的形式产于石榴子石白云母片岩中,矿物粒度极细,仅为0.05~0.1mm,典型矿物组合为石榴子石+绿辉石+多硅白云母+金红石。初步研究表明,榴辉岩相变质温压条件为470~520℃、2.21~2.51GPa,属于低温型榴辉岩。该榴辉岩的形成过程对探讨龙木错-双湖-澜沧江板块缝合带的构造演化具有重要意义。  相似文献
