We consider an extended Chaplygin gas equation of state which is driven from D-brane action and construct a cosmological model based on this equation of state. In this regard, we compute the scale factor of the model under a certain approximation. The conservation equation of this case is a non-linear differential equation which should solve using the special conditions. We also analyze the stability of the model by using sound speed as well as adiabatic index and discuss certain special cases of the model. We find special equation of state in this model which yields to dynamical and thermodynamical stability. Furthermore, we study the cosmological consequences of this model under certain conditions.  相似文献

An extension of Sonnerup's model for the magnetic field-line reconnection for a compressible plasma is given. The plasma is considered to be only slightly compressible so that the leading wave in Sonnerup's model can still be taken to be a thin discontinuity. The flow is assumed to occur under adiabatic conditions, and de Hoffmann-Teller jump conditions are used to connect the state variables across the shocks. The compressibility effects are found to increase the reconnection rate. The signaling problem is finally considered to study the evolution of MHD waves in a compressible, dissipative plasma so as to investigate the conditions under which the assumption of MHD waves in a compressible plasma to be thin discontinuities is valid.  相似文献

The phenomenon of a critical ionization velocity is discussed under the aspect of experimentally measured inhomogeneities. The difficulties inherent in homogeneous plasma models on the phenomenon are shown. A simple sheath model is presented which can be compared with the local plasma parameters measured in a rotating plasma device. The origin of the observed turbulent heating is attributed to a modified two-stream instability occurring in the sheath under discussion.  相似文献

We consider and numerically solve the problem of the relativistic gravitational collapse of a spherically symmetric cool nonrotating white dwarf with allowance for the neutronization kinetics. We propose a model equation of state and analyze the neutronization kinetics under simplifying assumptions. A comprehensive mathematical model is constructed for the phenomenon. The system of equations is integrated numerically. The gravitational collapse of a white dwarf that lost its stability is shown to lead to the envelope ejection and to the final state of a hot static neutron star. For comparison, we solve the problem with an equilibrium equation of state. We show that in this case, the entire mass ultimately goes under the gravitational radius to form a black hole.  相似文献

It is shown that eddies, present in a turbulent early universe, can form excellent galaxies upon collapse of the eddies and a small amount of viscous evolution. The resulting model galaxies display realistically flat rotation curves as well as exponential-like luminosity profiles. Regions of maximum shear and tension–compression stresses in the Martian interior have been revealed using two types of models: the elastic model and the model with an elastic lithosphere of varied thickness (150–500 km) positioned on a weak layer that has partially lost its elastic properties. The weakening is simulated by a ten-fold lower value of the shear modulus down to the core boundary. The numerical simulation applies Green’s functions (load number method) with the step of 1 × 1 grade along latitude and longitude down to a depth of 1000 km. The boundary condition is the expansion of the latest data on Martian topography and the gravitational field (model MRO120D) in spherical harmonics up to the degree and order of 90 in relation to the reference surface that is assumed an equilibrium spheroid. The considered two-level compensation model assumes nonequilibrium relief and density anomalies at the crust–mantle boundary to be the sources of the anomalous gravitational field. Calculations are performed for two test models of Martian internal structure with the crust mean thicknesses of 50 to 100 km and mean density of 2900 kg/m3. Considerable tangential and simultaneously compressive stresses occur under the Tharsis region. The main regions of high shear and simultaneously extentional stresses are located in the Hellas region crust and in the lithosphere of the following regions: Argyre Planitia, Mare Acidalium, Arcadia Planitia and Valles Marineris. The zone of high maximum shear and extentional stresses has been found at the base of the lithosphere under the Olympus volcano and that under the Elysium rise.  相似文献

The absorption of solar five-min oscillations by sunspots is interpreted as the resonant absorption of sound waves by a magnetic cylinder. The absorption coefficient is calculated both analytically under certain simplifying assumptions, and numerically under more general conditions. The observed magnitude of the absorption coefficient, which is up to 0.5 or even more, can be explained for suitable ranges of parameters. Limitations in the present model are also discussed.  相似文献

We developed a three-dimensional numerical model to investigate nonstationary processes in gravitating N-body systems with gas. We used efficient algorithms for solving the Vlasov and Poisson equations that included the evolutionary processes under consideration, which ensures rapid convergence at high accuracy. We give examples of the numerical solution of the problem on the growth of physical instability in the model of a flat rotating disk with a gaseous component and its three-dimensional dynamics under various initial conditions including a nonzero velocity dispersion along the rotation axis.  相似文献

For most hierarchical triple stars, the classical double two-body model of zeroth-order cannot describe the motions of the components under the current observational accuracy. In this paper, Marchal's first-order analytical solution is implemented and a more efficient simplified version is applied to real triple stars. The results show that, for most triple stars, the proposed first-order model is preferable to the zerothorder model both in fitting observational data and in predicting component positions.  相似文献

It is shown that available optical and ultraviolet data relating to the interstellar dust are elegantly explained on the basis of a modified microbal grain model. A model comprised of two biologically derived components, modified under interstellar conditions. The steady flow expansions of monatomic gases consisting of Maxwellia molecules into a vacuum moving under external forces with a source of spherical symmetry are investigated. The analysis is based on the B-G-K model of the Boltzmann equation with the approximation in hypersonic limit. The kinetic equation is solved by using the moment method. Analytical forms for the density and temperature are obtained for small and large distances from the source. The results show that the temperature in free expansion is less than that in the case of the expansion under the influence of external field of forces.  相似文献

A model of pulsar emission fluctuations down to sub-microsecond time-scales is presented. The model is consistent with the empirical amplitude modulated noise model. 天线有限元模型与实际天线往往存在结构参数误差和材料参数误差等,使有限元模型不能真实反映实际天线结构在各种载荷下的变形特性.针对亚毫米波天线,提出了亚毫米波天线有限元模型参数修正复合优化方法.该方法包括3步,第1步建立天线参数化有限元模型,并进行参数灵敏度分析;第2步,以第1步中得到的高灵敏度参数为优化变量建立优化函数,以初始模型与假想实际天线变形特性的差值最小为目标进行优化;第3步,基于零阶优化法和一阶优化法对天线有限元模型进行复合优化,使天线有限元模型逐渐逼近实际天线.为验证所提出参数修正优化方法的可行性,针对一台1.2 m亚毫米波天线,将对其进行假想实验获得的变形特性作为优化目标,分别对多个材料参数在不同的载荷工况下进行优化,结果表明天线有限元模型经过参数优化后与假想实际天线一致,证明了所提出的亚毫米波天线有限元模型参数优化修正方法可行,并在重力载荷下对修正优化后的天线模型的变形规律进行分析.这种优化方法可以推广应用到大口径亚毫米波天线的有限元模型修正中.  相似文献

We develop a simple model to explain the non-radial motion of eruptive solar filaments under solar minimum conditions. The global magnetic field is derived from the first and third components of the spherical harmonic expansion of a magnetic scalar potential. The filament is modeled as a toroidal current located above the mid-latitude polarity inversion line. We investigate the stability of the filament against changes in the filament current and attempt to explain the non-radial motion and acceleration of the eruptive filament. The stability of a recently proposed general relativistic model of galaxies is studied in some detail. This model is a general relativistic version of the well-known Miyamoto–Nagai model that represents well a thick galactic disc. The stability of the disc is investigated under a general first-order perturbation keeping the space–time metric frozen (no gravitational radiation is taken into account). We find that the stability is associated with the thickness of the disc. We find that flat galaxies have more non-stable modes than the thick ones, i.e. flat galaxies have a tendency to form more complex structures like rings, bars and spiral arms.  相似文献

Consider the problem of estimating the Quasar Luminosity Function (QLF). In a 2007 Ph.D. dissertation, Hugeback considers the QLF as a nonhomogeneous poisson process and estimates the intensity function under SDSS DR3 data (The University of Chicago, AAT 3273021). The present study follows Hugeback’s approach but introduces a mixture component which improves Hugeback’s model in several respects. Namely, the database is partitioned into two groups according to redshift: z < 2.75 and z ? 2.75. Next, a mixture model for the QLF was derived using the concept of pseudolikelihood, the addition of a K function to allow for inter-point interaction, and evaluation of residuals diagnostic plots. This mixture model (i) improves the deviance of Hugeback’s model, and (ii) satisfies residual assumptions that are violated under Hugeback’s model. Moreover, this study confirms Hugeback’s finding of inhomogeneity in the QLF, and provides stronger evidence for the existence of an interaction between redshift and absolute magnitude.  相似文献

The interpretation of the Lyman-α forests of quasars as suggested by Hoell and Priester (1991) supports a Friedmann-Lemaǐtre model for the universe. The components of the Hubble expansion rate are found by a linear regression of the square of the line-spacing parameter as a polynomial in the redshift 1 + z with a vanishing linear term. In this essay, we try to restrict the model to the special Eddington-Lemaǐtre model, which develops the deSitter expansion from the Einstein universe. We show the regression results under this restriction and discuss some of its consequences.  相似文献
