中国地理学会2006年学术年会于2006年8月19日-21日在兰州市西北宾馆举行,来自全国的近千名代表出席了大会.与会代表共提交会议论文700多篇.本次年会由中国地理学会、兰州大学、中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所、西北师范大学、中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所联合主办,兰州大学西部环境教育部重点实验室、兰州大学资源环境学院承办.

中国自然资源学会2006年学术年会于11月1日．2日在福建师范大学隆重召开。本次会议由中国自然资源学会和福建师范大学共同主办．福建师范大学地理科学学院、福建省自然资源学会、福建省亚热带资源与环境重点实验室共同承办。本届年会的主题是“创新资源科技,促进和谐发展”。来自全国各地科研院所、高校和管理部门的360余位代表出席了会议,会议收到学术论文210余篇。

2007 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China （GSC） was held on November 2-4 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province of East China. A total of over 1300 geographical researchers and educators from 190 geographical institutions across the country participated in this meeting. More than 800 papers were submitted and discussed during this academic meeting. This meeting was co-sponsored by the GSC, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences （CAS）, Nanjing University, and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research （IGSNRR） under the CAS.     

中国地理学会2008学术年会在长春召开

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China （GSC） was held on July 13-15 in Changchun, Jilin Province of Northeast China. A total of over 1000 geographical researchers and educators from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Australia participated in this meeting. More than 400 papers were submitted and discussed during this academic meeting. This meeting was co-sponsored by the GSC, Northeast Institute of Geography and Agricultural Ecology （NEIGAE） under the CAS, Northeast Normal University, and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research （IGSNRR） under the CAS. As an important part of the 2008 annual meeting, the 3rd Annual Academic Conference on Geography for Postgraduates was given a response from more than 200 postgraduates in universities and academic institutions.

中国地理学会2012 年学术年会于10 月12-14 日在河南大学隆重召开。这是百年中国地理学会与建校百年的河南大学在河南开封的第一次联合办会, 来自全国各地的地理工作者近1300 人齐聚古朴典雅的河南大学大礼堂, 围绕年会主题“地理学发展:科学与社会”, 共同探讨地理学发展问题, 并就地理学自身发展与能力建设、地理学的社会应用和如何与市场紧密结合等问题进行了广泛深入的交流与研讨。

中国地理学会2012年学术年会定于2012年10月12—14日在河南省开封市和郑州市举行,会议由中国地理学会和河南省科学技术协会共同主办,河南大学环境与规划学院、河南大学黄河文明与可持续发展研究中心、河南财经政法大学资源与环境学院承办,河南省科学院地理研究所、解放军信息工程大学测绘学院、河南省地理学会和中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所协办。

中国地理学会2007年学术年会于2007年11月2-4日在南京市隆重举行,来自全国190多个有关地理单位的专家、学者等1300多人出席了会议,其中包括中国科学院院士、中国工程院院士6人、中国科学院有关院(所)长以及省级研究所所长、全国各大学校长、学院院长等近百人,还有来自中国台湾、香港、澳门和美国、日本的地理学者等.     

中国地理学会2013年华中地区学术年会在武汉举行

9月27-29日,中国地理学会2013年华中地区学术年会在武汉举行,会议主题是"地理科学与区域发展"。来自河南、江西、湖南和湖北四省的50余家研究和教学机构(高校、科研院所、中学、教科所、教研院、出版社、编辑部和媒体机构等)共260余人出席了会议。其中注册参会的研究生近100人、中学地理教师和地理教育管理人员70余人,共收到论文(含摘要)120篇。本次会议由中国地理学会主办,中国地理学会华中地区代表处、华中师范大学城市与环境科学学院和湖北省地理学会承办,河南省地理学会、江西省地理学会和湖南省地理学     

2014 Annual Meeting of the Geographical Society of China Held in Chengdu,China:The first full mobilization for the 33rd International Geographical Congress

On October 24-26,2014,the annual meeting of the Geographical Society of China (GSC) was held in Chengdu,Southwest China.There were more than 1,700 geographical experts,scholars and graduate students from nearly 400 institutions all over the country participating in the event.The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Wei DENG,Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment,Chinese Academy of Sciences,where Professor Yanhua LIU,President of GSC and Counselor of the State Council of China,gave an opening speech and Professor Jieming ZHOU,School Board Director of Sichuan Normal University,made a welcoming address.Honorary Presidents of GSC,Academician Changming LIU,Academician Dadao LU,Vice-Presidents of GSC,Academician Bojie FU,Academician Peng CUI,and other GSC leaders attended the meeting.

The Annual Academic Meeting of the Geographical Society of China (GSC) was held onOctober 17-19, 2003 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. A total of some 560 geographical researchersand educators from across China participated in this event. More than 300 papers were presentedand discussed during this annual meeting. The Annual Academic Meeting of the GeographicalSociety of China is so far the largest scale academic activity of geographical sciences in China.
