本文利用地转动量近似^「1」并结合行波解的方法,研究了均匀基本气流中的层结大气非线性波动,首先由绝热无磨擦的闭合方程组导得关于垂直P速度的单一变量的非线性方程,然后讨论了非线性方程解的稳定性,并求得近似的非线性方程的椭圆余弦波和孤立波解及其存在条件。  相似文献

在前文采用半地转近似和行波法来研究层结大气中的非线性波动的基础上,进一步探讨非线性方程及其级数近似方程的解的稳定性,波动解的存在条件和波动的一些特征。研究指出,在平衡点附近,将非线性方程用其级数近似方程代替是可行的、合理的。在初始拟能满足一定的条件下,椭圆余弦波和孤立波是存在的。文中还求得了椭圆余弦波解的周期、x向波长和振幅以及孤立波的宽度和振幅。并指出,孤立波的宽度和振幅不但与波速有关,还与β因子和层结稳定度有关,而且在相同的某条件下,西行的混合Rossby-重力孤立波比起东行的惯性重力孤立波来,宽度要小但振幅却大。  相似文献

利用一个部分非线性的二维经向重力内波动力模式,通过求行波解,对冬季风期间南海冷涌的传播形式,传播特征和传播速度进行了分析,并讨论了大尺度经向环流及其垂直结构、热力作用、层结稳定状况和初始扰动条件对冷涌传播的作用。主要结论是:冷涌的传播表现为具有非线性效应的无频散或弱频散的重力行波,其向南传播速度远大于平流速度而接近于重力内波波速;不同流场和位温的初始扰动状况决定了冷涌将以周期重力行波或者以孤立重力  相似文献

通过研究二维准动量无辐散、无摩擦层结大气非线性方程组的行波解问题证明,非线性行波解的本质属性是由参数b的符号性质决定的。当b>0时,为周期解,其周期与相应的线性周期解的周期相等;当b≤0时,为孤立波解。给出了一般行波解的解析表达式。并细致地研究了中性和不稳定层结大气中的孤立行波的特征,发现中性和不稳定层结大气中存在具有类似于飑线结构特征的孤立波。指出了中性和不稳定层结大气中的一般孤立行波物理量的分布特征。  相似文献

提出了一个考虑地形坡度的非线性Kelvin行波解的模型,在假定了地形坡度沿山脉走向不变而仅在垂直于山脉走向的方向有改变的情况下,求得了该模型的解析解,这有助于加深对沿海山地捕获波的认识。文中还将该解与经典情形(即侧边界取为垂直刚壁而底面为水平)的解作了比较,发现前者的波速与扰动振幅均较后者要小,这与我国东南沿海武夷山区的沿海山地捕获波的情况相一致。  相似文献

In the stratified atmosphere in which the moment nondivergent approximation was applied,introducingthe nonlinear term because of the nonhomogcneous spatial distribution of density and assuming the solutionto be of the form of progressive wave,we obtain a two-order nonlinear system.By means of this system,allresults which were derived by Liu et al.(1984)were obtained.Moreover,it can be proved that there existedperiodic solution in the nonlinear systems when there existed periodic solution in the one-order approxima-tion system,and some mathematic problems arising from series expansion were avoided.In this paper,aseries of approximate solutions of nonlinear system is also discussed.  相似文献

Introducing the concept of pseudo-momentum, a generalized Arnold-Dikii functional is established, and then thesufficient condition for stability of nonlinear wave motion in the barotropic nondivergent atmosphere is derived by useof variational principle. It is found that the stability of nonlinear wave motion depends not only on its streamfield distri-bution, but also on its phase speed for the propagating nonlinear wave motion. Moreover, the stability criterion of trav-elling modon is also obtained, and it is shown that the travelling modon is stable if the scale of disturbance superimposedon the travelling modon remains to be less than that of the travelling modon.  相似文献

A kind of technique of computer extension of perturbation series is presented and used in seeking for the second-order approximation to a large-scale travelling wave solution of the barotropic primitive equations. Numerical experiments show that the second-order approximation keeps major characters of the travelling wave solution and is indeed more exact than the zero-order and the first order approximations.  相似文献

采用两层大气模式,通过求解线性化大气动力学—热力学方程组,得到在上层稳定层结覆盖的不稳定大气边界层中,简单三维地形引起的地形波及其波动阻力的解析表达式。讨论了地形及大气条件对地形波及波动阻力的影响。结果表明:即使在大气低层为不稳定边界层时,三维地形引起的波动在大气动量平衡中仍可起明显作用。  相似文献

Summary  Nonlinear waves in a stratified atmosphere with basic uniform flow are studied by adopting geostrophic momentum approximation (cf. Hoskins, 1975) and the method of travelling wave solution. A nonlinear equation containing a unique variable of vertical p velocity is derived from a complete system of equations considering frictionless and adiabatic fluid. The stability of the solution for the nonlinear equation is discussed then. Furthermore, the approximate cnoidal wave solution, solitary wave solution and their existence condition are obtained. Composite investigation is performed of global dynamic characteristics of 3-4-year period low-frequency oscillation in ENSO variability of air-sea coupling in the context of monthly mean wind and SSTA.Evidence suggests that the horizontal(vertical) anomaly circulation at tropical latitudes (equatorial)exhibits their evolution to be,in substance,a kind of low-frequency wave slowly travelling eastward,featured by wave number 2 moving along the equator and zonal wind swiftly decaying off the equator in relation to divergence/convergence:the time that the low-frequency wave takes to move around the equator in its halfway is precisely the period of the ENSO low-frequency component (LFC) (approximately 4 years);the ocean also displays corresponding response to the component.  相似文献

In this paper,the effects of the large-scale mean sea temperature fields of the tropical ocean and the zonal current field (southern equatorial current) have been comprehensively entered in consideration on the basis of Chao and Ji (1985),and Ji and Chao (1986),the equatorial oceanic waves of the tropical ocean have been discussed by use of linearized primitive equations,then,the significant influence of the climatic background fields of the tropical ocean upon the oceanic waves of this region has been further testified.When very cold water appears in the tropical region,and the southern equatorial current is also relatively strong,the effect of the Rossby wave weakens,as a consequence,there are substitutive slow waves (i.e.thermal waves) which travel in opposite direction (eastward) to the Rossby wave.The characteristics of the slow wave are similar to those of Rossby waves,only the travelling direction is opposite.Under a certain environmental background field,the slow wave and the modified Rossby wave may be instable.With this conclusion,the mechanism of the occurrence,development and propagation of El Nino events has been studied.It is pointed out that the opposite travelling direction of the thermal wave and Rossby wave will bring repectively into action under different marine environmental background fields.The physical causes for that the abnormal warm water inclines to occur along the South American coast have also been explored in this paper.  相似文献

通过在非绝热准地转线性模式中引入波动形式解,并确定适当的定解条件,用正交模方法求得了感热波的波动解。结果表明由于感热加热集中于近地层附近,其波动解具有与山脉波类似的波动垂直结构,波动等位相线随高度向西倾斜,波动能量向上传播。对NCEP/NCAR资料的分析验证了理论推导结果的合理性。大尺度大气定常波随纬度和季节有明显变化。热带地区定常波主要受潜热加热影响,副热带地区大气波动常表现为地形、潜热和感热加热的综合效应,而中纬度地区大气定常波则主要由地形和感热加热决定。  相似文献

High-frequency (HF) radar observations of sea waves apparently travelling against the wind are discussed. In some cases, it appears that the wave angular spectrum does contain components travelling against the wind. Some data taken on the Barbados Island during BOMEX have been analyzed, and they show that such components increase in amplitude with distance from a windward shore. It is shown that the order of magnitude of the observed growth rates can be explained by resonant non-linear interaction within the wave spectrum.  相似文献

Dynamic study is undertaken of the tropical atmospheric CISK–Rossby wave genesis and propagation mechanisms, the vertical structure of the low–frequency wave and the basic characteristics and constraint of the vertical transport of momentum and wave energy fluxes in relation to the quasi–biennial oscillation (QBO) of the stratospheric zonal winds over the tropics in the context of a baroclinic quasi–geostrophic model. Results suggest that in the properly posed thermal conditions and zonal belt there exist two kinds of CISK–Rossby waves of low frequency (LF) and very low frequency (VLF), travelling zonally in opposite directions, which act as sources responsible for upward transferring momentum and wave energy fluxes for easterly and westerly perturbations in such a way as to provide required momentum and energy for the stratospheric QBO genesis and maintenance. The present study offers interpretations for some of the fundamental observational facts of the QBO and proposes new ideas of the QBO generation mechanism. 为了研究三维静力适应过程的机理,推导三维静力适应方程组并导出声重力波的频散特征、解析解和能量转换关系以及位涡方程。结果表明,三维静力适应过程实际上就是三维声重力波和重力内波的频散过程,声重力波和重力内波的频率在水平方向上可以区分开来。声重力波的频率随着水平波数和垂直波数的增大而增大。取近轴近似,其解析解在空间上呈螺旋曲面,为大气中热通量和动量从一个区域向另一个区域的输送提供了一种机制,从而为研究大气提供了新的视角。垂直速度在动能与有效势能的转换、有效势能与有效弹性势能的转换中发挥着重要的作用,并且只发生在垂直方向上。在静力适应过程中总能量和位涡是守恒的。适应终态中有效势能比有效弹性势能大一个数量级。   相似文献
