The geological environment has been heavily polluted by chemical substances over the past few decades. Pollution sources located on the earth’s surface or underground have affected the quality of the environment. A significant amount of impact could be reduced if the allocation of potential pollution sources was based on an evaluation of environmental conditions. The main objective of this study was to develop a methodology for the allocation of potential pollution sources by employing GIS and multi-criteria evaluation techniques. This methodology was applied to a study area located in the eastern part of Lithuania. A GIS-based land suitability analysis was performed after identifying 16 factors concerning the geological and socio-economic environment, which were important for environmental protection, land use and spatial planning. The environmental and socio-economic factors were divided into eliminating and limiting criteria. Criteria maps based on the selected factors were compiled. Areas delineated by eliminating criteria were identified as unsuitable for development (according to national legislation). Limiting criteria were evaluated according to the suitability level, which were determined in this study considering the principles of sustainable development. The relative importance of each criterion was assessed utilising the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). A land suitability index (LSI) was calculated and the final result of the land suitability analysis was summarized in three suitability maps (environmental, socio-economic and composite). Four suitability classes (unsuitable, least, moderately and most suitable) for the allocation of potential pollution sources in the study area were used, and the nine most suitable candidate sites were selected according to the proposed methodology.  相似文献

We present a new pore pressure cohesive element for modeling the propagation of hydraulically induced fracture. The Park-Paulino-Roesler cohesive zone model has been employed to characterize the fracturing behavior. Coulomb’s frictional contact model has been incorporated into the element to model the possible shear reactivation of pre-existing natural fractures. The developed element has been validated through a series of single-element tests and an available analytical solution. Furthermore, intersection behaviors between the hydraulic fracture and the natural fracture under various conditions have been predicted using the present element, which shows good agreement with experimental results.  相似文献

Adoption of most suitable post mining land use is a problem with multi-dimensional nature. There are so many factors in this problem which seriously influence on the decision judgments. Therefore, in this study a fifty-attribute framework for mined land suitability analysis including fifty numbers of economical, social, technical and mine site factors developed to be a foundation for this decision making problem. Analysis by an outranking multi-attribute decision-making technique, called elimination et choix traduisant la realite method, was taken into consideration because of its clear advantages on the field of mined land suitability analysis as compared with multi-attribute decision-making ranking techniques. Analytical hierarchy process method applied to calculate global weights of the attributes through pair wise comparison matrixes. The weights then passed to the elimination et choix traduisant la realit method so that the most efficient post mining land uses could be appointed through comparisons of pair-wise dominance relationships between alternatives. This approach applied to an illustrative example where, final results showed that, there were two non-dominated land-uses for the considered example; industrial and pasture. However by increasing indifference threshold limit, the non-dominated set reduced to a single alternative that was pasture land-use.  相似文献

This study demonstrated the use of fuzzy logic approach in mapping land limitations for agricultural land use planning using publicly available data for the province of Marinduque, Philippines. The paper focused only on the two major crops in the province, coconut, and banana. Based on the results, slope is the major factor limiting the production of these two crops. Slope is identified as a limitation in approximately 80% and 18% of the agricultural land of the province for coconut and banana production, respectively. Other land limitations for coconut production in the province include rainfall, soil, and combination of these factors with slope. In the case of banana, soil and combination of this factor with slope were identified as land limitations.

Open-pit mining method has severe environmental impacts which should be prevented, monitored, controlled, and reduced by mined-land reclamation process. After mine closure, a permanent post-mining land use should be implemented as an appropriate choice for using different sections of mined land. The most appropriate alternative of post-mining land use for each section of mined land is presented as the optimum post-mining land use. Pit area among different sections of mined land has more significant effects on the environment and also on defining the optimum post-mining land use for other sections of mined land. Though there are several alternatives and criteria for defining the optimum post-mining land use, the multi-attribute decision-making methods can be efficient techniques in this regard. The nature of the effective parameters used for defining the optimum post-mining land use is the same as Fuzzy numbers including incremental changes without definite limits. Thus, application of the Fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making modeling can produce more reliable results than that of other techniques. As well, pair-wise comparisons and judgments through Fuzzy numbers have proper consistency with the nature of the effective parameters; therefore, a model is developed to attain the optimum post-mining land use for pit area through Fuzzy analytical hierarchy processing. As a case study, the model was implemented in Sungun copper mine in the Northwest of Iran. Forestry?Clumber production was defined as the optimum post-mining land use containing the greatest relative importance coefficient 3.019 for the pit area in this mine.  相似文献

Wei River is the major source of water for the urban residents, industrial production and agricultural activities in the central Shaanxi plain of China. Water quality of the Wei River was determined by collecting water samples from 25 locations along the Baoji Xi’an reach and analyzing for pH, EC, BOD5, DO, COD, F, Se, As, and Hg. Fuzzy synthetic evaluation with the entropy method for weight determination was used to assess the water quality of the river. Results indicate that the water quality of 23 sampling sites fall into the fifth grade (bad level), whereas two sampling sites are in the fourth grade (poor level). The comparison of this method with the typical fuzzy synthetic evaluation shows that it is effective in water quality assessment. The assessment results indicate that the Wei River is heavily polluted at most of the sampling locations, with mercury as the major pollutant. Strict enforcement of the regulations for domestic and industrial wastewater discharges is vital to avoid damage to the water environment and to protect human and ecological health.  相似文献

Land suitability evaluation is prerequisite for assessing the limitations for sustainable land use planning. We used ten site specific criteria (rainfall, texture, drainage, soil depth, slope, distance to major road, distance to nearest sugar mill, erosion hazard, risk of flooding and pH) and applied weighted multi-criteria evaluation (MCE) technique in a geographic information system (GIS) environment to evaluate land suitability for sugarcane cultivation in Bijnor district, India. The weightage of all the parameters was calculated through fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. Sugarcane suitability map was prepared integrating various parameters through weighted overlay analysis. The map was categorized as highly suitable (S1), moderately suitable (S2), marginally suitable (S3) and unsuitable (N). The analysis revealed that of the total cultivable land of the district, largest area (61%) was highly suitable followed by moderately suitable (24%), marginally suitable (7%) and unsuitable (8%) for sugarcane cultivation. Nagina, Najibabad and Bijnor sub-districts need attention of land managers and policy makers to remove the limitations and increase the suitability of sugarcane in such areas. Only 7% area was unsuitable for sugarcane cultivation. Slope, soil depth and erosion hazard were the major limiting factors making the land unsuitable for sugarcane cultivation. Therefore, these areas should be given priority for land and soil restoration efforts. The study showed effectiveness of integrated GIS and MCE approach for land suitability analysis of sugarcane.  相似文献

Human activities in many parts of the world have greatly changed the natural land cover. This study has been conducted on Pichavaram forest, south east coast of India, famous for its unique mangrove bio-diversity. The main objectives of this study were focused on monitoring land cover changes particularly for the mangrove forest in the Pichavaram area using multi-temporal Landsat images captured in the 1991, 2000, and 2009. The land use/land cover (LULC) estimation was done by a unique hybrid classification approach consisting of unsupervised and support vector machine (SVM)-based supervised classification. Once the vegetation and non-vegetation classes were separated, training site-based classification technology i.e., SVM-based supervised classification technique was used. The agricultural area, forest/plantation, degraded mangrove and mangrove forest layers were separated from the vegetation layer. Mud flat, sand/beach, swamp, sea water/sea, aquaculture pond, and fallow land were separated from non-vegetation layer. Water logged areas were delineated from the area initially considered under swamp and sea water-drowned areas. In this study, the object-based post-classification comparison method was employed for detecting changes. In order to evaluate the performance, an accuracy assessment was carried out using the randomly stratified sampling method, assuring distribution in a rational pattern so that a specific number of observations were assigned to each category on the classified image. The Kappa accuracy of SVM classified image was highest (94.53 %) for the 2000 image and about 94.14 and 89.45 % for the 2009 and 1991 images, respectively. The results indicated that the increased anthropogenic activities in Pichavaram have caused an irreversible loss of forest vegetation. These findings can be used both as a strategic planning tool to address the broad-scale mangrove ecosystem conservation projects and also as a tactical guide to help managers in designing effective restoration measures.  相似文献

在系统分析长江三角洲经济区地质条件与地质环境问题的基础上,深入研究了该地区工业用地与地质环境之间的相互关系,从而建立了基于工业用地的地质环境适宜性评价指标体系,并利用层次分析法确定指标权重,通过定性分析与定量计算相结合的方式,运用加权平均综合指数法对该地区的工业用地地质环境适宜程度进行综合评价。评价结果表明,长江三角洲经济区工业用地的地质环境适宜区及较适宜区占研究区陆域总面积的59%,总体情况较好。  相似文献

气候的舒适度是游客选择旅游目的地的重要影响因素之一,利用1960-2013年近54 a的研究区气象统计资料,结合地理信息系统(GIS)空间分析方法,并考虑气温垂直递减规律这一因素,分析了阿勒泰地区500 m×500 m分辨率栅格尺度的逐月温湿指数、风效指数、着衣指数及综合舒适指数,通过对4个指数所反映的舒适度和舒适期进行对比分析,发现综合舒适指数可从客观角度反映气候因素对人体感觉的综合影响,能达到较为精准的评估效果.研究表明:阿勒泰旅游气候舒适度变化受当地地形和季节变化的影响较大,旅游舒适度季节变化明显,适宜户外旅游的舒适期短暂.季节变化中,冬季不适宜开展户外旅游活动;春季阿尔泰山山区气候舒适度不舒适,山区以南和西南萨吾尔山以北舒适度较不舒适;夏季分布在额尔齐斯河以北的山麓和山间河谷地区,以及青河县中部和南部,富蕴县南部地区人体感觉舒适,占全区总面积的39.62%,其余大部分区域较舒适;秋季分布在哈巴河县、布尔津县、阿勒泰市南部及福海县中部和南部区域感觉较舒适,占全区总面积的36.79%.阿勒泰地区旅游舒适期为1~5个月,旅游资源的空间分布契合该地区旅游舒适期的区域空间分布,利于本地区进行旅游开发和旅游活动.  相似文献

Current methods of establishing suitable locations for onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) are inadequate, particularly in light of the numerous cases of onsite system failure and the resulting adverse consequences. The development of a soil suitability framework for assessing soil suitability for OWTS allows a more practical means of assessment. The use of multivariate statistical analysis techniques, including Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and multi-criteria decision aids of PROMETHEE and GAIA, enabled the identification of suitable soils for effluent renovation. The outcome of the multivariate analysis, together with soil permeability and drainage characteristics permitted the establishment of a framework for assessing soil suitability based on three main soil functions: (1) the ability of the soil to provide suitable effluent renovation, (2) the permeability of the soil, and (3) the soils drainage characteristics. The developed framework was subsequently applied to the research area, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, and the use of standard scoring functions were utilised to provide a scoring system to signify which soils were more suitable for effluent renovation processes. From the assessment, it was found that Chromosol and Kurosol soils provided the highest level of effluent renovation, closely followed by Ferrosol and Dermosol, Kandosol and Rudosol soil types. Tennosol and Podosol soil types were found to have a significantly lower suitability, with Hydrosol soils proving the least suitable for renovating effluent from OWTS.  相似文献

This paper proposes one approach, a fuzzy multicriteria decision-making model, to transfer non-quantitative judgements into quantitative ones that computers can process. 海绵城市规划建设过程中,自然及地质背景条件对低影响开发设施的布设具有重要影响。针对郑州市的1945 km2海绵城市规划区,根据海绵城市建设要达到的蓄水、渗水、净水等功能,分析地表植被、地形坡度、包气带及含水层等海绵特性,构建了基于海绵城市建设的地质适宜性评价体系,并用层次分析法进行评价,结果表明:郑州市海绵城市建设地质适宜性好的区域面积占规划区的3.83%,适宜性较好区域占33.12%,适宜性中等区域占54.05%,适宜性差区域占9.00%;郑州市规划的12个海绵城市重点建设区,有2个覆盖不适宜建设区,分布在龙湖片区西北部和双鹤湖片区;航空港区有建设海绵城市的天然条件,建议在东湖节点周围规划海绵重点建设区。海绵城市建设的地质适宜性评价结果对郑州市海绵城市规划建设有参考意义。  相似文献

With Zhengzhou-Kaifeng area as the research area, this paper discusses AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods to classify impact factors at different levels, makes a mixing evaluation of the basic factors and comprehensive factors so as to correct the uncertainty of the weight of the basic factors in the initial evaluation and establish the corresponding evaluation index system, and carries out urban geological environment suitability evaluation in study area. Furthermore, this paper partitions the suitability of the research area according to evaluation results into five zones. 为了使城市地质调查成果更好地服务于新型城镇化建设,以正在开展的丹阳城市地质调查项目为依托,分析丹阳市地质环境条件并评价城镇工程建设的适宜性。选取地形地貌、水文、工程地质、水文地质、地质灾害、活动断裂和地震效应7个一级评价因子,地貌分区、水系水域、洪水淹没程度等11个二级评价因子,以500 m×500 m网格为评价单元,利用GIS软件对丹阳市进行工程建设适宜性评价。在此基础上,叠加了丹阳市生态红线管控区,将一级管控区划为工程建设不适宜区,二级管控区划为工程建设适宜性差区。结果表明,除生态管控区外,丹阳市工程建设适宜性总体良好,大部分地区为适宜区,适宜工程建设; 城市开发建设不能突破生态保护红线。  相似文献

建筑用地适宜性评价对城市规划和土地利用总体规划具有重要意义,是资源环境承载力评价的重要组成部分,但目前无统一的地质适宜性评价标准,尚处于研究探索阶段。江苏沿海地区沉积环境复杂,软土严重区软土厚度10 m,地面沉降严重区地面沉降速率10 mm/a。通过探讨基于层次分析法的建筑用地工程建设地质适宜性评价和基于地质环境问题的限制性因素评价方法,发现这2种方法相互结合、互为补充,可在城乡规划中发挥支撑规划编制和工程建设的双重作用。  相似文献
