A series of axi-symmetry models using finite element analyses were performed to investigate the behavior of circular footings over reinforced sand under static and dynamic loading. Geogrid was modeled as an elastic element and the soil was modeled using hardening soil model which use an elasto-plastic hyperbolic stress–strain relation. Several parameters including number of geogrid layers, depth to the first geogrid layer, spacing between layers and load amplitude of dynamic loading are selected in this paper to investigate the influence of these parameters on the performance of reinforced systems under both static and dynamic loads. The numerical studies demonstrated that the presence of geogrid in sand makes the relationship between contact pressure and settlement of reinforced system nearly linear until reaching the failure stage. The rate of footing settlement decreases as the number of loading cycles increases and the optimum values of the depth of first geogrid layer and spacing between layers is found 20% of the footing diameter. Some significant observations on the performance of footing-geogrid systems with change of the values of parametric study are presented in this paper.  相似文献

以成昆铁路复线加筋土挡墙为工程依托进行现场原位试验,对比分析工后9个月内新型整体式面板、内嵌返包结构的模块式面板和模块式面板3类加筋土挡墙的结构特性。在此期间发生两次地震,监测了震后挡墙变形及土压力变化。结果表明:整体式面板加筋土挡墙整体稳定性最好,具有良好的抗震性能,格栅应变变化率、墙体压缩量和墙面水平位移均最小。整体式面板和模块式面板加筋土挡墙墙背土压力沿墙高近似呈M型,内嵌返包结构的模块式面板加筋土挡墙墙背土压力沿墙高近似呈倒S型。整体式面板加筋土挡墙的侧向土压力系数沿墙高变化较小,小于美国联邦公路局(FHWA)加筋设计指南计算值;内嵌返包结构的模块式面板加筋土挡墙侧向土压力系数沿墙高呈增大的趋势,挡墙中、下部小于FHWA计算值,上部接近或大于静止土压力系数;模块式面板加筋土挡墙侧向土压力系数大部分处在FHWA计算值与静止土压力系数之间。3类挡墙土工格栅应变沿墙高均呈非线性变化。挡墙墙体压缩量随着时间的增加逐渐增加,在工后前50 d时间内增加速率较快,随后增加速率减缓,进入雨季之后增加速率再次增大。发生地震后,3类加筋土挡墙均出现不同程度的墙背土压力减小、格栅应变增大、墙体压缩量增加和墙面板外移的现象。  相似文献

The paper presents the results of a finite element analysis of the dynamic response of a geosynthetic reinforced soil retaining wall that is constructed with dry-stacked modular concrete blocks as the facia system. In the finite element model, the cyclic shear behavior of the backfill soil is described by a hyperbolic stress-strain relationship with Masing hysteretic unload-reload behavior. The reinforcement material is modelled using a similar hysteretic model which takes into account the measured response of cyclic load-extension tests performed on unconfined geogrid specimens in the laboratory. Interface shear between wall components is simulated using slip elements. The results of finite element analyses giving the seismic response of a typical geogrid reinforced segmental retaining wall subjected to prescribed acceleration records are presented. The results of analyses highlight the influence of dynamic loading on: (1) wall displacement; (2) cumulative interface shear force and displacement between facing units; (3) tensile forces developed in the reinforcement and; (4) acceleration response over the height of the wall. A number of implications to the design of these structures are identified based on the results of these simulations.  相似文献

储油罐环形加筋防护墙是由填土、筋体、格栅返包式面板组成的一个环形整体复合结构,具有明显的空间特性及其与储油罐之间复杂的相互作用,相关研究理论明显滞后于工程应用。由于环形加筋防护墙无法忽略其空间特性的影响,通过Plaxis 3D三维有限元软件进行数值模拟,采用小应变土体硬化模型作为加筋土体本构模型,研究储油罐环形加筋防护墙墙体的变形特征及加筋材料的受力特征,探讨墙体高度、厚度、墙面坡度及土工格栅刚度、加筋间距等因素对墙体变形特征的影响。结果表明:防护墙墙面侧位移随着防护墙高度、厚度和墙面倾斜角度的减小而减小,但墙体厚度过小和加筋间距过大将导致防护墙倾覆趋势增大,过小的土工格栅刚度会导致墙侧位移过大,因此需严格控制以上设计参数;加筋防护墙墙体的修筑将加大储油罐边缘处地基沉降,储油罐内燃油的装载状态不影响加筋防护墙地基沉降情况,但油罐地基最大沉降差随着储油罐内装载燃油的增多而减小;根据格栅最大拉应力位置所推测的加筋防护墙破坏面经过墙趾曲线,墙后土压力受墙面坡度影响巨大,设计时应根据坡度选择合适的设计方法。  相似文献

Several experiments are carried out to understand the deformation behavior of reinforced soil retaining wall with limited fill zones under vertical surcharge strip loading. Test set-up along with all the instrumentations is developed to carry out the experiments. Panel displacements and strain distribution along geogrid layers are observed. Effectiveness of the reinforced soil wall is also evaluated using a geogrid material. Finite element analysis is carried out using commercial software PLAXIS version 8 for the above problem without and with anchoring of reinforced soil retaining wall in the limited fill zone. 在近年来的岩土工程实践中,土工合成材料加筋土技术得到越来越广泛的应用。采用平板载荷板试验方法,进行了多组加筋砂土地基模型试验,监测和分析了不同加筋材料(双向格栅与四向格栅)和加筋层数对土工格栅加筋土地基承载特性的影响。研究结果表明:土工格栅加筋土地基与无筋地基相比,承载性能得到改善,双层加筋明显优于单层加筋;土工格栅加筋限制了浅层地基的侧向变形,相同荷载下地基沉降减小,可恢复变形增大;模型试验中测得加筋材料应变和拉力很小,与土工格栅强度相比,拉伸模量对加筋土地基承载力的贡献更大。  相似文献

废旧轮胎胎面挡土墙是一种有效利用废旧轮胎的理想途径,但直立的模块式废旧轮胎胎面挡土墙不能承受高强度的地震作用,因而提出格栅条带式加筋的方法提高其抗震性能。根据土-结构动力相似体系,设计格栅条带式加筋废旧轮胎胎面挡土墙振动台试验模型,考虑地震强度、地震波、格栅加筋长度、格栅加筋间距以及墙面坡度的影响,分析胎面墙体与回填料加速度、墙体侧向位移、墙顶表面回填料沉降以及墙背动土压力等地震响应特征,并与无加筋的废旧轮胎胎面挡土墙的振动台模型试验进行对比。研究结果表明:格栅条带式加筋胎面挡土墙的方式显著改善了无加筋状态的胎面挡土墙的地震响应特征,提高了胎面挡土墙的抗震性能,格栅条带式加筋直立式废旧轮胎胎面挡土墙可以作为理想的墙体进行工程推广应用。  相似文献

铁路台阶式加筋土挡墙的设计方法尚不成熟,现有设计方法不能满足铁路边坡工程实践的需求。潜在破裂面的确定是加筋土挡墙设计的关键,但现行规范仅对10 m以下单级加筋土挡墙的潜在破裂面有了明确的规定。为了研究台阶式加筋土挡墙在铁路荷载作用下潜在破裂面的特征,设计了1:4的大比例尺二级台阶式加筋土挡墙室内模型试验,以周期性加卸载的方式模拟铁路荷载,通过监测墙面水平位移、墙顶沉降及土工格栅筋带变形,分析确定潜在破裂面的位置和形状。试验结果表明:I级墙(下级墙)潜在破裂面形状与现行规范中的0.3H法破裂面类似,但位置更深,且下部破裂面更缓,表明潜在不稳定范围更大;II级墙(上级墙)潜在破裂面形状与朗肯主动破裂面基本一致,但并未从II级墙坡脚剪出,而是内移刺入I级墙体;研究结果可为铁路台阶式加筋土挡墙的设计提供理论参考。  相似文献

包裹式土工格栅加筋土挡墙在工程中的设计分析仍采用基于极限平衡理论的锚固楔体法,而没有考虑在达到极限平衡之前加筋土挡墙所发生的变形发展和积累过程。加筋土挡墙面板的水平位移是墙体内外部稳定的重要体现。通过采用有限元数值方法,分析了不同工程因素对包裹式土工格栅加筋土挡墙面板处工后水平位移的影响,分析结果表明,FEM计算值和实测值接近,说明了有限元计算分析的适用性;包裹式土工格栅加筋土挡墙面板处的工后水平位移呈由下向上增大趋势;拉筋刚度、长度、竖向间距对水平位移具有明显的影响并应选择适宜数值,以实现加筋土挡墙的良好工程性能;挡墙墙顶处外荷载大小及位置对水平位移具有相应影响,位于加筋区外的外荷载对墙面水平位移影响不明显。  相似文献

Reinforced soil walls commonly include facing elements which affect the mechanical behavior of the system. However, the design procedures involved in the existing codes and manuals (e.g. FHWA, BS8006, AASHTO, etc.) do not consider the structural contribution of the facing to the wall stability. Recently, a new computer based method for the analysis of reinforced soil walls which takes into account the interaction between the facing and the soil reinforcement layers was presented [Klar A and Sas T. Rational approach for the analysis of segmental reinforced soil walls based on kinematic constraints. Geotextiles and Geomembranes 2009;27:332-340]. This method demands full compatibility between the reinforcement layers and the deforming wall, and is solved as an optimization problem on this constraint. This kinematic compatibility (KC) method entails several assumptions regarding the interaction between the three components of the system (soil, wall, and reinforcement). This paper compares the KC method to a more rigorous continuum analysis. Results show that the KC method is capable of replicating the behavior of the more rigorous system, with a good agreement on both the value of maximum tensile forces in the reinforcement and shear and bending moment distributions along the wall. The KC method has a certain advantage over continuum methods, such as finite element or finite difference, since it requires limited input data that can easily be obtained from field tests.  相似文献

在自嵌式砌块加筋挡土墙工程中,加筋与填土及自嵌式砌块的界面作用特性是最关键的技术指标,直接决定该工程的内部稳定性。通过室内拉拔试验可知,当法向应力大于24.8 kPa时,双向土工格栅会在其与上砌块后缘互锁连接接触处被拉断,而不是从混凝土砌块间被拔出,且此时双向土工格栅发挥出的抗拉强度远小于其条带拉伸情况下的抗拉强度;双向土工格栅与混凝土砌块界面间的强度包线由两段直线组成,当法向应力小于24.8 kPa时,摩擦强度随法向应力的增大而增大;当法向应力大于24.8 kPa时,摩擦强度为一常数。  相似文献

通过有限元软件ANSYS对土工格栅加筋路堤进行模拟,阐述了加筋土的加筋作用原理。通过一个工程实例分别对不加筋、仅加砂垫层、加一层土工格栅砂垫层、加两层土工格栅砂垫层四种不同的加筋路堤进行了计算。分析了不同加筋方式下加筋土路基竖向位移、侧向位移、竖向应力、剪应力和筋材拉力的规律。  相似文献

为研究加筋土桥台结构在顶部条基动载作用下的动力响应问题,通过MTS伺服加载系统施加循环动载,开展室内加筋桥台挡墙动载破坏试验,对比分析3种格栅长度和3类格栅型式的加筋土挡墙沉降及面板水平位移、土压力、筋材应变等参数的分布规律,揭示加筋桥台挡墙的动力承载性能。试验结果表明:在循环动载下不同格栅长度及型式的加筋桥台挡墙破坏模式存在差异,M、A、B型格栅加筋长度 1.0H(H为挡墙高)的挡墙破坏模式均为冲切剪切破坏,A、B型格栅 0.7H和 0.4H的挡墙破坏模式为局部剪切破坏。加筋桥台挡墙面板侧移随筋材长度增加依次减小,A型格栅加筋土挡墙侧移系数总体上相比B型小。桥台挡墙因加筋格栅长度及型式不同导致动土压力衰减规律差异明显,当 1.0H时M型及A型筋材竖向动土压力衰减系数沿墙高呈抛物线函数模型,当 0.7H时,A型和B型筋材竖向动土压力衰减系数沿墙高皆呈指数函数模型。  相似文献

In this paper, the stability and failure mechanism of soil blocks that were reinforced by brittle shear pins and rested on a low-interface friction plane were studied by means of physical and numerical models. The humid silica sand no. 6 was employed to build the physical models of soil blocks, while the Teflon sheet was employed as the low-interface friction plane. To study the effect of stabilizing piles on slopes, the soil blocks were reinforced by brittle shear pins using pencil leads with 2 mm in diameter. Three-dimensional finite element analyses were employed to analyze the stability of this problem. The effects of numbers and patterns of shear pins on the stability and failure mechanisms of physical and numerical models were compared and discussed.

利用双向土工格栅对源自强风化红砂岩的粉砂土进行加筋,对压实度分别为90 %,95 %,100 %以及加筋层数分别为0,1,2,3,5的数组土样完成了室内回弹模量试验工作。总结并分析了双向土工格栅加筋层的布设位置、加筋层数、土的压实度等对回弹模量的影响规律。试验结果表明,在合适的加筋方式和加筋层数以及较高的压实度下,可以获得较高的回弹模量。这表明利用双向土工格栅加筋技术实现公路桥台台背与桥头路堤间刚柔的平顺过渡,从而达到控制桥头跳车的目的是可能的。  相似文献

The construction of sheet pile walls may involve either excavation of soils in front or backfilling of soils behind the wall. These construction procedures generate different loading conditions in the soil and therefore different wall behavior should also be expected. The conventional methods, which are based on limit equilibrium approach, commonly used in the design of anchored sheet pile walls do not consider the method of construction. However, continuum mechanics numerical methods, such as finite element method, make it possible to incorporate the construction method during the analyses and design of sheet pile walls. The effect of wall construction type for varying soil conditions and wall heights were investigated using finite element modeling and analysis. The influence of construction method on soil behavior, wall deformations, wall bending moments, and anchor forces were investigated. The study results indicate that walls constructed by backfill method yield significantly higher bending moments and wall deformations. This paper presents the results of the numerical parametric study performed and comparative analyses of the anchored sheet pile walls constructed by different construction methods.  相似文献

采用高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)单向土工格栅,以及南水北调中线工程新乡段的膨胀性泥灰岩风化土,在填土尺寸为600 mm×600 mm×600 mm的大型叠环式剪切试验机上进行一系列拉拔试验,研究了土工格栅与试验箱侧壁距离、拉拔速率、上覆荷载大小等试验条件因素对筋土界面拉拔性状的影响。结果表明:不排水条件下,土工格栅与试验箱侧壁的距离,对峰值拉拔力、界面强度与切向刚度的影响不大;拉拔速率较大时,拉拔力增长较快,其拉拔力峰值和界面强度较大;上覆荷载和拉拔力不同,格栅的变形量及筋土相对位移量不同,不同上覆荷载下界面摩阻力沿格栅埋入长度分布的非均匀程度不同,并可导致较小上覆荷载下界面平均摩阻力反而较大的反常行为。  相似文献

基于加筋黏性土挡墙的长期工作性能试验,综合分析加筋土挡墙在回填、加载过程及加载后各阶段对格栅应变、面板变形及墙后土压力的影响,以及格栅应变受模型槽尺寸效应的影响。试验结果表明:顶部加载完成后格栅应变随时间增加而逐渐增大,约6个月后增加趋势变缓并趋于稳定;随着距面板距离的增大,筋材应变先增大后减少,随着时间增长,黏性土中格栅应变沿全长发展并均有相应增长;受模型槽挡板与填料间的摩擦以及加载板与模型槽间存在间隙的影响,靠近两侧挡板筋材的应变值要比中间测点小些;相同位置处挡墙后最大水平土压力监测值约为朗肯主动土压力计算值的2倍;竖向土压力最大值仅为考虑顶部载荷和自重后应力总和的1/3左右,表明格栅加筋使挡墙填土中应力得以重新分布。  相似文献

稻壳灰与土体混合应用,一方面废弃资源再利用,环保,又可增强土体强度。通过三轴试验,研究不同比例稻壳灰混合黏土及其加筋土应力?应变性能、强度特性以及不同应变水平下模量、偏应力及加筋强度比等土体变化特征。试验结果表明,随稻壳灰比例增加,混合土最大干密度显著减小,最优含水率显著增加。添加不同比例稻壳灰对加筋土抗剪强度有较大影响,10%~15%稻壳灰比例下,加筋稻壳灰混合土初始切线模量和应力峰值达到最大,抗剪强度较优。与土工织物加筋稻壳灰混合土相比,土工格栅加筋稻壳灰混合土偏应力及抗剪强度更大,土工格栅层数对土体抗剪强度增大效果更明显,对应的应力?应变曲线拐点也更突出。试样弹性模量与稻壳灰比例及筋材种类、层数有关,加入稻壳灰后,土体弹性模量增长显著,土工格栅加筋稻壳灰混合土较优比例下可增加1.5倍多,稻壳灰及筋材均能有效提高土体强度。随加筋层数增加,稻壳灰混合土加筋强度比明显增大,与围压关系较小。  相似文献

In this paper, a model geosynthetic-reinforced soil retaining walls (GRS-RW) is tested by vertically loading it through a rough footing on the top near the retaining wall and the results are simulated by a sophisticated nonlinear Finite Element Method (FEM) having a novel rate dependent constitutive model for both the backfill material and the geosynthetic reinforcement. Usually, polymer geosynthetic reinforcement is known to exhibit more-or-less rate-dependent stress–strain or load–strain behavior due to their viscous properties. The geomaterials (i.e., clay, sand, gravel and soft rock) also exhibit viscous properties. The viscous behavior of geometrials are quite different from that of the polymer based geosynthetic-reinforcements. It has been revealed recently that viscous behavior of sand is a kind of temporary effect, which vanishes with time. So the rate-dependent deformation of backfill reinforced with polymer geosynthetic reinforcement becomes highly complicated due to interactions between the elasto-viscoplastic properties of backfill and reinforcement. In the present study, a scaled model geosynthetic-reinforced soil retaining wall is tested with a vertically loaded rough rigid footing. The results of the model test are simulated by using an appropriate elasto-viscoplastic constitutive model of both sand and geogrid embedded in a nonlinear plane strain FEM.  相似文献
