Piled embankments, which offer many advantages, are increasingly popular in construction of high-speed railways in China. Although the performance of piled embankment under static loading is well-known, the behavior under the dynamic train load of a high-speed railway is not yet understood. In light of this, a heavily instrumented piled embankment model was set up, and a model test was carried out, in which a servo-hydraulic actuator outputting M-shaped waves was adopted to simulate the process of a running train. Earth pressure, settlement, strain in the geogrid and pile and excess pore water pressure were measured. The results show that the soil arching height under the dynamic train load of a high-speed railway is shorter than under static loading. The growth trend for accumulated settlement slowed down after long-term vibration although there was still a tendency for it to increase. Accumulated geogrid strain has an increasing tendency after long-term vibration. The closer the embankment edge, the greater the geogrid strain over the subsoil. Strains in the pile were smaller under dynamic train loads, and their distribution was different from that under static loading. At the same elevation, excess pore water pressure under the track slab was greater than that under the embankment shoulder.  相似文献

基于某工业地下管道建立有限元模型,考虑管土相互作用和行波效应,综合分析在三向地震动一致激励与非一致激励下的管道动力响应结果,并且简单分析部分相关因素对管道动力响应结果的影响。结论如下:对于地下管道来说,非一致激励与一致激励作用下的位移响应曲线在峰值和形状方面存在较为明显的不同,具体表现为:非一致作用水平向位移远大于一致作用,而竖直向位移稍大于一致作用;对于应力响应,不管一致还是非一致激励,同一截面各处的应力响应有明显不同,并且总体来说非一致作用下较大;位于管道走向变化段、土层变化处和管道弯曲段的截面的位移响应峰值和应力响应一般会产生突变,说明这些因素对管道的动力响应具有较为明显的影响。  相似文献

Sediment incipient motion is a fundamental issue in sediment transport theory and engineering practice. Whilst Shields curve often is used to determine the threshold of sediment movement under unidirectional current conditions, it is unclear whether it can be directly applied for the wave or combined wave-current conditions. The study developed adaptive criterion curves describing incipient motion of sediment under wave and current conditions based on the flow pattern around the sediment particles. Firstly, the flow pattern law for fixed particles was recognized based on the friction law under various dynamic conditions (wave, current, and their combinations), and the flow pattern demarcations for incipient sediment motion were obtained with the threshold conditions for sediment movement under various dynamic conditions combined. Secondly, the exact shape of the Shields curve in each flow regime was derived under the current condition. By combining the flow pattern demarcations for incipient sediment motion under the wave condition, the criterion curve under the wave condition was derived. By combining the flow pattern demarcations for incipient sediment motion under the combined current-wave condition, the criterion curve for sediment incipient motion under the combined current-wave condition was derived. The results indicated that the flow pattern around incipient particles includes laminar, laminar-rough turbulent transition, and rough turbulent regimes. The criterion curves for sediment incipient motion under various dynamic conditions stayed the same in the laminar and rough turbulent regimes, but different in the transition regime. Depending on the relative strengths of the currents and waves, the shape of the criterion curve under the combined current-wave condition transitions adaptively between the criterion curve under the current condition and the criterion curve under the wave conditions.  相似文献

Contamination of saltmarsh sediments and biota by CCA treated wood walkways   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Sediments, marsh grasses, and ribbed mussels were collected under two CCA wood walkways (15 and 3 years old) and 1, 3, and 10 m out, in the high, middle and low marshes. These sediments, and samples from reference sites, were analyzed for Cu, Cr, and As by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Metal concentrations were highly elevated under the walkways and up to 10 m away. Dispersal of contaminants near the old walkway was greatest in the low marsh, less in the middle, and least in the high marsh, corresponding to periods of tidal inundation. Accumulation under the walkway was generally greatest in the low marsh. Contamination was much higher in sediments under the new walkway than the old one, but metals had not dispersed as far. Accumulation patterns in plants were similar, but the contamination did not disperse as far and was not greater under the new vs the old walkway, despite differences in sediment concentrations. In mussels, bioaccumulation was seldom statistically significant, due largely to small sample sizes.  相似文献

为了验证提出的新型筒式自复位形状记忆合金阻尼器(telescopic recentering shape memory al-loy damper,TRSMAD)对结构平动-扭转耦联振动反应的抑制作用,进行了偏心结构消能减震体系的振动台试验。设计了一个1/4缩尺的三层两跨单向偏心的钢框架模型,将提出的新型SMA阻尼器安装在结构底层的一侧,通过振动台分别对无控条件下和装有阻尼器的有控条件下的结构反应进行了研究。试验结果表明:(1)在各地震波作用下,TRSMAD对结构的平动反应有很好控制效果,而对结构各层扭转角位移的控制效果稍低;(2)不同地震波下的控制效果有所不同:对结构的平动位移而言,天津波的减震率最高,El Centro波次之,最后为Taft波;对结构扭转角的控制,平均而言,除了天津波作用下第二层为特例外,对El Centro波的减震效果最好,其次为Taft波,最后为天津波;(3)同一地震波下,阻尼器对结构模型一层的位移控制效果较其他层为优。  相似文献

隔震结构具有较长自振周期,且容易受地震动长周期特性的影响,因此其在长周期地震动作用下的抗震性能值得研究。以某基于规范设计的基础隔震结构为例,通过对该结构在规范规定地震作用和远场长周期地震作用下的地震响应进行分析和对比,研究长周期地震动对结构地震响应的影响;通过对钢筋和混凝土的损伤状态进行定义和标识,探讨长周期地震作用下基础隔震结构的损伤分布规律。研究结果表明,长周期地震动作用下隔震结构发生破坏的概率远大于具有相同峰值地面加速度的普通地震动,其中长周期地震动反应谱的谱峰值"后移"被认为是造成这种情况的主要原因,且长周期地震动作用下隔震结构的损伤分布并不均匀,其主要集中在结构的底层。  相似文献

Water repellency (WR) from fire‐affected soils can affect infiltration processes and increase runoff rates. We investigated the effects of fire‐induced changes in soil WR and the related soil hydrological response after one of the largest wildfires in Spain in recent years. The vertical distribution of WR in soil profiles was studied under oak and pine forests and the wetting pattern was analysed after rainfall simulations (85 mm h?1 during 60 min). After burning, the persistence of WR in soils under oaks increased in the upper 0–5 cm of soil in comparison with pre‐fire WR, but no significant changes were observed under pines. After a fire, WR was stronger and the thickness of the water‐repellent layer increased in soils under pines in the upper 0–16 cm of soil. The hydrophobic layer was thinner under oaks, where no strong to extremely water‐repellent samples were observed below 12 (in burnt soils) and 8 cm (in unburnt soils). Uniform wetting was observed through soil depth in burnt and unburnt soils under oaks, as a consequence of the prevailing matrix flux infiltration. Water was mostly stored in the upper few centimetres and soil became rapidly saturated, favouring a continuous rise in the runoff rate during the experiments. Moisture profiles under pines showed a heterogeneous wetting pattern, with highly irregular wetting fronts, as a result of wettable and water‐repellent three‐dimensional soil patches. In this case, runoff rates on burnt plots increased in relation to unburnt plots, but runoff generation reached a steady state after 25–30 min of simulated rainfall at an intensity of 85 mm h?1. 以南京江心洲大桥主桥为研究对象,采用大型有限元分析软件ANSYS建立了该独塔自锚式悬索桥的三维有限元模型,采用子空间迭代法对该桥模型进行了自振特性的分析,在其中考虑了几何非线性的影响。对该桥模型进行模态分析。在此基础上运用反应谱法计算了该桥的纵向、横向、竖向、纵向+竖向以及横向+竖向的地震响应,并针对其主要截面位置进行分析。结果表明,横向地震下的塔底应力比纵向、竖向输入下大,竖向地震作用下主梁地震应力要比横向、纵向地震作用下的大,塔顶位移在纵向+竖向地震动输入时的位移值最大等。研究结果对同类桥型的工程抗震研究具有参考意义。  相似文献

相对传统结构,自复位墙结构在地震作用下具有更大的变形能力且几乎无残余位移,但其耗能能力较弱,需采用附加阻尼来增加整体耗能.目前,金属阻尼器已广泛用于自复位墙结构,其可显著减小结构大震下的地震响应,但小震下的位移和加速度减震效果不佳.因此,将小变形下即可耗能的黏弹性阻尼器应用于自复位墙结构中.设计一幢10层自复位墙结构,分别采用黏弹性阻尼器和 U 型金属阻尼器作为附加耗能构件,通过弹塑性时程分析对比采用两种耗能机制的结构地震响应.结果表明,黏弹性阻尼器可显著减小自复位墙结构在小震下的位移和加速度响应;U 型金属阻尼器在中震下开始耗能,在大震和巨震下,其减震效果会超越黏弹性阻尼器.因此,为进一步优化自复位墙结构在不同水准地震作用下的抗震性能,建议结合阻尼器的特点进行合理设计.  相似文献

Degradation of selected indolic compounds including indole, 1-methylindole, 2-methylindole, and 3-methylindole was assessed under methanogenic and sulfate-reducing conditions using the serum-bottle anaerobic technique and marine sediment from Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong as an inoculum. Our results showed that indole degradation was achieved in 28 days by a methanogenic consortium and 35 days by a sulfate-reducing consortium. During degradation under both conditions, two intermediates were isolated, purified and identified as oxindole and isatin (indole-2,3-dione) suggesting that both methanogenic and sulfate-reducing bacteria use an identical degradation pathway. Degradation processes followed two steps of oxidation accomplished by hydroxylation and then dehydrogenation at 2- and then 3-position sequentially prior to the cleavage of the pyrrole ring between 2- and 3-positions. However, none of 1-methylindole or 2-methylindole was degraded under any conditions. 3-Methylindole (3-methyl-1H-indole, skatole) was transformed under methanogenic conditions and mineralized only under sulfate-reducing conditions. It is clear that methyl substitution on 1- or 2-position inhibits the initial attack by hydroxylation enzymes making them more persistent in the environment and posing longer toxic impact.  相似文献

Nationwide changes in spatially well‐resolved patterns of British runoff were investigated under two climate change scenarios derived from general circulation model (GCM) output. A physical process‐based hydrological model (HYSIM) was used to simulate effective runoff across a 10 km×10 km British grid under baseline and future climate conditions. A gridded baseline climatology for precipitation and the Penman variables was used to validate HYSIM across Britain using grid cell‐specific parameters derived from land use and soil type. The climate change scenarios were constructed from the Hadley Centre's high resolution equilibrium GCM (UKHI) for 2050 and transient GCM (UKTR) for 2065. Future effective runoff was simulated under both scenarios by applying changes in precipitation and the Penman variables to the baseline climatology. Annual effective runoff is shown to increase throughout most of Britain under the UKHI scenario for 2050, whilst it decreases over much of England and Wales under the UKTR scenario for 2065. Both scenarios show an increasing gradient in runoff between a wetter northern Britain and a drier south‐eastern Britain. This gradient is more pronounced under the UKTR scenario. Changes in effective runoff for winter and summer show an increase in seasonality under both scenarios. Winter runoff is shown to increase most in northern Britain under both scenarios, whilst summer runoff is shown to experience major reductions over much of England and Wales under the UKTR scenario. If these simulations are realized, Britain may expect an accentuated north to south‐east imbalance in available water resources. If this is combined with a temporal imbalance suggested by the increased seasonality, there could be problems for the future management of British water resources. 在Simulink环境下对桩-土-结构相互作用系统进行了仿真计算分析,并利用反应谱理论研究了SSI效应对上部结构动力响应的影响.采用集中参数模型考虑桩-土对上部结构的影响,上部结构简化为单质点模型,给出了桩-土-结构系统的状态方程,根据模型状态方程在Simulink环境下建立系统的仿真模型,得到了不同场地条件下SSI效应对上部结构加速度谱与位移谱的影响规律.计算结果表明:位移谱基本保持着“刚性假定<Ⅰ类场地<Ⅱ类场地<Ⅲ、Ⅳ类场地”的规律;加速度谱受场地影响的规律不太明显,但在场地较软、桩基刚度较大时,加速度比刚性假定下的要小,而在其他情况下,加速度则比刚性假定下的要大.  相似文献

Diisopropanolamine Biodegradation Potential at Sour Gas Plants   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The potential for aerobic and anaerobic biodegradation of a sour gas treatment chemical, diisopropanolamine (DIPA), was studied using contaminated aquifer materials from three sour gas treatment sites in western Canada. DIPA was found to be readily consumed under aerobic conditions at 8°C and 28°C in shake flask cultures incubated with aquifer material from each of the sites, and this removal was characterized by first-order kinetics. In addition, DIPA biodegradation was found to occur under nitrate-, Min(IV)., and Fe(III)-reducing conditions at 28°C, and in some cases at 8°C, in laboratory microcosms, DIPA loss corresponded to consumption of nitrate, and production of Mn(II) and Fe(II) in viable microcosms compared to corresponding sterile controls. A threshold DIPA concentration near 40 mg/L was observed in the anaerobic microcosms. This report provides the first evidence that DIPA is biodegraded under anaerobic conditions, and our data suggest that biodegradation may contribute to DIPA attenuation under aerobic and anaerobic conditions in aquifers contaminated with this sour gas treatment chemical.  相似文献

在隧道的施工和运营中,隧道衬砌不可避免会产生裂纹。裂纹和地震荷载的相互作用将加剧隧道的破坏,因此研究带裂纹隧道衬砌地震荷载作用下的破坏具有重要的意义。为了证明本文二维有限元数值模拟计算结果的正确性,首先用相互作用积分的方法计算动载作用下的静态裂纹,并与解析解进行比对,发现二者的吻合性很好。计算结果表明相互作用积分法可以用来精确地计算动载作用下带裂纹结构的动应力强度因子。用这种经过验证的方法来计算带裂纹重载铁路隧道衬砌的动应力强度因子和动承载力安全系数,可以看出在地震荷载作用下,I型裂纹的动应力强度因子在隧道结构的安全中起控制作用。当裂纹的长度大于某特定值时,隧道处于很危险的状态。  相似文献

设计1个20层SRC框架核心筒结构模型,考虑地震的随机性和结构材料的不确定性,采用拉丁超立方体抽取结构-地震动样本,之后对其进行增量动力分析(IDA),以第1周期谱加速度为强度指标,最大层间位移角为结构需求,定义4个性能水平,研究该结构的易损性。通过引入群体结构震害评估中易损性指数的概念,计算多遇、设防和罕遇地震下的易损性指数。结果表明:以易损性指数作为评价指标,该结构在多遇地震作用下,处于轻微破坏状态;在设防地震作用下,处于中等破坏状态;在罕遇地震作用下,结构处于严重破坏状态。可认为依据我国抗震规范设计的SRC框架核心筒结构能够满足"小震不坏"、"中震可修"和"大震不倒"的抗震设防目标。  相似文献

The present investigation compared the capacity of greenhouse pot-cultivation systems under two salinity conditions (freshwater and saline water) with two mangrove species (Bruguiera gymnorrhiza and Kandelia candel) to remove nutrients from livestock wastewater. During the whole treatment period there were relatively stable leachate TOC concentrations for wastewater-treated pots. Leachate NH4(+)-N concentration of B. gymnorrhiza pots was generally lower than that of K. candel pots. Leachate PO4(3-)-P concentration of pots receiving wastewater under freshwater condition was higher than that under saline water condition. Soil inorganic N content was more than two times higher for the wastewater treatments than that for the controls under low salinity condition and slower rate of increase under saline water condition. Soil P nutrients of both total and extractable inorganic forms significantly increased for both systems due to the discharges of livestock wastewater under both salinity conditions. The rate of increase in P contents for plants receiving livestock wastewater was 1-4 times that of the controls, much more than that in N contents (0.04-1.30 times). N nutrient removal efficiencies were 84.3% (65.6% by soil and 18.7% by plant) and 95.5% (32.2% by soil and 63.4% by plant), respectively by Kandelia candel and B. gymnorrhiza pot-cultivation systems under freshwater condition. Under saline water condition, N nutrient removal efficiencies by K. candel and B. gymnorrhiza pot-cultivation systems were 92.7% (80.7% by soil and 12.0% by plant) and 98.0% (67.6% by soil and 30.3% by plant), respectively. P nutrient removal efficiencies by K. candel and B. gymnorrhiza systems under freshwater condition were 79.2% (76.6% by soil and 2.6% by plant) and 91.8% (88.2% by soil and 3.6% by plant), respectively. The corresponding values were 88.0% (84.2% by soil and 3.8% by plant) and 97.8% (95.9% by soil and 1.9% by plant) under saline water condition.  相似文献

Testing dispersant effectiveness under conditions similar to that of the open environment is required for improvements in operational procedures and the formulation of regulatory guidelines. To this end, a novel wave tank facility was fabricated to study the dispersion of crude oil under regular non-breaking and irregular breaking wave conditions. This wave tank facility was designed for operation in a flow-through mode to simulate both wave- and current-driven hydrodynamic conditions. We report here an evaluation of the effectiveness of chemical dispersants (Corexit® EC9500A and SPC 1000) on two crude oils (Medium South American [MESA] and Alaska North Slope [ANS]) under two different wave conditions (regular non-breaking and plunging breaking waves) in this wave tank. The dispersant effectiveness was assessed by measuring the water column oil concentration and dispersed oil droplet size distribution. In the absence of dispersants, nearly 8-19% of the test crude oils were dispersed and diluted under regular wave and breaking wave conditions. In the presence of dispersants, about 21-36% of the crude oils were dispersed and diluted under regular waves, and 42-62% under breaking waves. Consistently, physical dispersion under regular waves produced large oil droplets (volumetric mean diameter or VMD ? 300 μm), whereas chemical dispersion under breaking waves created small droplets (VMD ? 50 μm). The data can provide useful information for developing better operational guidelines for dispersant use and improved predictive models on dispersant effectiveness in the field.  相似文献
