A runaway binary star escaping in runaway from the multiple system Θ1 Ori C is studied. The radial velocities of both components are measured and radial velocity curves are constructed and solved for them. The physical parameters and chemical compositions of the stars are determined.  相似文献

Data are presented from a spectral and photometric study of the long-period variable star Y Ori, which we have classified as a type M7IIIe near its brightness minimum. In the blue part of the spectrum, features from a star of an earlier spectral class are superimposed on the spectrum of a cool giant, so that a variable excess emission is observed at wavelengths of 4000–4200 Å. As opposed to the monotonically decreasing intensity of the Balmer lines (EWHα > EWHβ > EWHγ > EWHδ) in normal stars belonging to the earlier spectral classes, a reverse relationship, with EWHγ < EWHδ is detected in Y Ori. A longitudinal magnetic field is measured for the star è1 Ori C at eight points in its period using the C IV 5801 and 5812 Å absorption lines. The maximum value was +231±47 G. The measurements were made with the Main Stellar Spectrograph on the BTA telescope using a circular polarization analyzer with an image slicer and in the back-and-forth mode. __________ Translated from Astrofizika, Vol. 50, No. 1, pp. 107–111 (February 2007).  相似文献

VV Orionis is a detached eclipsing binary system consisting of stars of spectral types B1 V and B4 V with a period of 1.d4854. There is also a third component whose orbital period about the eclipsing pair is about 120 days. In recent years there have been several new photoelectric and spectroscopic investigations of this system, and the results of these are compared. Both the geometric and photometric orbital elements appear to be well determined. VV Ori A appears to be of normal size and mass for its spectral class, but VV Ori B seems to be somewhat smaller than would be expected for a normal B4 V star. Linear limb-darkening coefficients are derived for VV Ori A, and these are in good agreement with theory. This system is of particular importance, because it is only one of very few earlytype systems for which reliable limb-darkening coefficients can be expected to be obtained. The contribution of the light of the third component to the system has also been determined, and it appears most likely that VV Ori C is a star of spectral type A3 V.Paper presented at the Lembang-Bamberg IAU Colloquium No. 80 on Double Stars: Physical Properties and Generic Relations, held at Bandung, Indonesia, 3–7 June, 1983.  相似文献

We report the results of spectropolarimetric observations of the supergiant ζ Ori A made with 6-m BTA telescope of the SAO RAS. We found regular variations of line profiles in the spectrum of the star with a period of 1–3 hours and point to their possible association with nonradial photospheric pulsations. We also searched for a possible weak magnetic field in ζ Ori A, but observations did not confirm the existence of such a field in the star considered.  相似文献

First ever closed form solution for charged fluid sphere expressed by a space time with its hypersurfaces t= constant as spheroid is obtained for the case 0<K<1. The same is utilized to construct a superdense star with surface density 2×1014 gm/cm3. The star is seen to satisfy the reality and causality conditions for 0<K≤0.045 and possesses maximum mass and radius to be 0.065216M Θ and 1.137496 km respectively. Moreover the interior of the star satisfy strong energy condition. However in the absence of the causality condition, the reality conditions are valid for a wider range 0<K≤0.13. The maximum mass and radius for the later case are 1.296798M Θ and 2.6107 km respectively for the strong energy condition, while the said parameters for the weak energy condition read as 1.546269M Θ and 2.590062 km respectively.  相似文献

In the present article, a family of static spherical symmetric well behaved interior solutions is derived by considering the metric potential g 44=B(1−Cr 2)n for the various values of n, such that (1+n)/(1−n) is positive integer. The solutions so obtained are utilised to construct the heavenly bodies’ like quasi-black holes such as white dwarfs, neutron stars, quarks etc., by taking the surface density 2×1014 gm/cm3. The red shifts at the centre and on the surface are also computed for the different star models. Moreover the adiabatic index is calculated in each case. In this process the authors come across the quarks star only. Least and maximum mass are fond to be 3.4348M Θ and 4.410454M Θ along with the radii 21.0932 km and 23.7245 km respectively.  相似文献

We present the results of our infrared JHK photometry for the unusual UX Ori star V1184 Tau. Comparison with previous observations performed before the catastrophic decline in its optical brightness in 2004 (when the star faded approximately by a factor of 100) has shown the following: the star faded approximately by 2 m and 1 m in the J and H bands, respectively, while its K brightness remained almost constant. This pattern of infrared variability seems incompatible with the mechanism of variable circumstellar extinction responsible for the dramatic decline in the star’s optical brightness. However, if this mechanism is considered in the context of an accretion disk model with a puffed-up inner rim in the dust sublimation zone and with a disk wind producing an expanding gas-dust atmosphere above the disk surface, then the paradox can be resolved. In this model, the photometric activity of V1184 Tau in both visible and near-infrared spectral ranges, including the sharp brightness decline in 2004, can be explained by an increase in the geometric thickness of the disk in the dust sublimation zone caused by enhanced accretion of circumstellar matter onto the star. There is reason to believe that such events occur periodically and result from the presence of a companion to V1184 Tau moving in a highly eccentric orbit. The offered interpretation of the photometric activity of V1184 Tau allows this object to be classified as an UX Ori star based on the observed photometric effect and, at the same time, as a FU Ori star based on the pattern of the physical process that produced this effect.  相似文献

Model atmosphere analysis, based on Kurucz models has been applied to study the F6V star π3 Ori (=BS1543=HD30652). The following values of the effective temperature, surface gravity and microturbulence velocity were obtained: = 6270±200 K, log g = 3.80.2, ξt =3.5±0.5 km/s. The abundances of 10 elements were determined. The resulting element abundances for the π3 Ori were found to be about three times lower with respect to the Sun. From evolutionary calculations we derived a mass, radius and luminosity for π3 Ori of M =1.3 M, R =2.38 R, L =7.9 L. Hence this star should be classified F6IV instead of F6 V. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The abundances of helium and iron in the atmosphere of the principal star of the BM Ori system are estimated. Spectra obtained with the BTA telescope and from the archives of the IUE and HST satellites are used. It turns out that the helium abundance is close to that in the sun, while that of iron is lower. The helium and iron abundances in other stars of the Trapezium of Orion are generally similar to those in BM Ori, but there are some differences. For example, of the two stars 1 Ori C and 1Ori D, one has a higher and the other a lower abundance of helium than does the sun. At the same time, the secondary of BM Ori has a normal abundance of iron.  相似文献

We give the results of photographic, photoelectric, and spectral observations of the flare star PP Ori. The 109 photographic observations used, which were obtained on the 40 Schmidt telescope of the Byurakan Observatory over a period of about 20 years, and four spectra obtained on the same telescope with a objective prism show no variation in brightness. Photoelectric observations in the UBVR bands using the 50cm and 60cm telescopes of the high-altitude Maidanak station of the Tashkent Astronomical Institute in 1987 and 1989 give grounds for suspecting a variation in brightness much larger than observational errors. Spectral observations of the star PP Ori made on the 2.6m telescope of the Byurakan Observatory show weak H emission. The results of all these observations show that PP Ori is an Orion variable of spectral class K7-M0 with absolute visual magnitude7 m 5–8 m 5.Translated fromAstrofizika, Vol. 38, No. 2, 1995.  相似文献

In the present article models of well behaved charged superdense stars with surface density 2×1014 gm/cm3 are constructed by considering a static spherically symmetric metric with t = const hypersurfaces as spheroids and hyperboloids. Maximum mass of the star is found to be 7.66300M Θ with radius 19.35409 km for spheroids case while 1.51360M Θ with radius 13.72109 km for hyperboloid case satisfying ultra-relativistic conditions. The solutions thus found satisfy all the reality and causality conditions. For brevity we don’t present a detailed analysis of the derived solutions in this paper.  相似文献

Results from optical photometric observations of the PMS star V 1735 Cyg are reported. The star is located in the IC 5146 dark cloud complex—a region of active star formation. On the basis of observed outburst and spectral properties, V 1735 Cyg was classified as a FUor object. We present data from BVRI CCD photometric observations of the star, collected from March 2003 to January 2009. Plates from the Rozhen Schmidt telescope archive were scanned for a brightness estimation of the star. A sequence of sixteen comparison stars in the field of V 1735 Cyg was calibrated in BVRI bands. The data from photographic observations made from 1986 to 1992 show a strong light variability (ΔV=1m2). In contrast, the recent photometric data obtained from 2003 to 2009 show only small amplitude variations (ΔI=0m3). The analysis of existing photometric data shows a very slow decrease in star brightness—1m8 (R) for a 44 year period. The possibilities for future photometric investigations of V 1735 Cyg using the photographical plate archives is discussed briefly.  相似文献

We obtain a well behaved class of charge analogues of neutral superdense star model due to Kuchowicz, by using a particular electric field, which involves a parameter K and vanishes when K=0. The members of this class are seen to satisfy the various physical conditions e.g. c 2 ρ≥3p≥0, dp/dr<0, /dr<0, along with the velocity of sound, dp/c 2 <1 and the adiabatic index ((p+c 2 ρ)/p)(dp/(c 2 ))>1, for the interval 0<K<1 with the maximum mass 6.8374M Θ and the radius 23.4679 km with the central red shift Z c =0.75364. In the interval, 0<K≤0.1179, the velocity of sound and the ratio p/c 2 ρ are found monotonically decreasing towards the pressure free interface, which presents a relevant model for massive star like Neutron star or pulsar with the maximum mass as 4.1474M Θ and the radius 20.5481 km with the central red shift Z c =0.6654.  相似文献

Recently, Bijalwan (Astrophys. Space Sci. doi:, 2011) discussed all important solutions of charged fluid spheres with pressure and Gupta et al. (Astrophys. Space Sci. doi:, 2010) found first closed form solutions of charged Vaidya-Tikekar (V-T) type super-dense star. We extend here the approach evolved by Bijalwan (Astrophys. Space Sci. doi:, 2011) to find all possible closed form solutions of V-T type super-dense stars. The existing solutions of Vaidya-Tikekar type charged fluid spheres considering particular form of electric field intensity are being used to model massive stars. Infact at present maximum masses of the star models are found to be 8.223931M Θ and 8.460857M Θ subject to ultra-relativistic and non-relativistic conditions respectively. But these stars with such are large masses are not well behaved due to decreasing velocity of sound in the interior of star. We present new results concerning the existence of static, electrically charged perfect fluid spheres that have a regular interior. It is observed that electric intensity used in this article can be used to model superdense stars with ultrahigh surface density of the order 2×1014 gm/cm3 which may have maximum mass 7.26368240M Θ for ultra-relativistic condition and velocity of sound found to be decreasing towards pressure free interface. We solve the Einstein-Maxwell equations considering a general barotropic equation of state with pressure. For brevity we don’t present a detailed analysis of the derived solutions in this paper.  相似文献

We present three new categories of exact and spherically symmetric Solutions with finite central parameters of the general relativistic field equations. Two well behaved solutions in curvature coordinates first category are being studied extensively. These solutions describe perfect fluid balls with positively finite central pressure, positively finite central density; their ratio is less than one and causality condition is obeyed at the centre. The outmarch of pressure, density, pressure-density ratio and the adiabatic speed of sound is monotonically decreasing for these solutions. Keeping in view of well behaved nature of these solutions, one of the solution (I1) is studied extensively. The solution (I1) gives us wide range of Schwarzschild parameter u (0.138≤u≤0.263), for which the solution is well behaved hence, suitable for modeling of Neutron star. For this solution the mass of Neutron star is maximized with all degree of suitability and by assuming the surface density ρ b =2×1014 g/cm3. Corresponding to u=0.263, the maximum mass of Neutron star comes out to be 3.369 M Θ with linear dimension 37.77 km and central and surface redshifts are 4.858 and 0.4524 respectively. We also study some well known regular solutions (T-4, D-1, D-2, H, A, P) of Einstein’s field equations in curvature coordinates with the feature of constant adiabatic sound speed. We have chosen those values of Schwarzschild parameter u for which, these solutions describe perfect fluid balls realistic equations of state. However, except (P) solution, all these solutions have monotonically non-decreasing feature of adiabatic sound speed. Hence (P) solution is having a well behaved model for uniform radial motion of sound. Keeping in view of well behaved nature of the solution for this feature and assuming the surface density; ρ b =2×1014 g/cm3, the maximum mass of Neutron star comes out to be 1.34 M Θ with linear dimension 28.74 km. Corresponding central and surface redshifts are 1.002 and 0.1752 respectively.  相似文献

We report on the discovery of a new short-periodic pulsating variable star in the field of the pulsating sdB star KPD 2109+4401. The star was observed on 10 consecutive nights. Based on the light curves, we detect three pulsation frequencies at 10.308, 4.023 and 11.075 cycle d−1 with amplitudes of 11.1, 4.3 and 4.2 milli-magnitudes, respectively. Using the existing data from other sky surveys, we estimate a spectral type of late F and other atmospheric parameters. Then we discuss the observational properties of the star. Finally it is classified to be a new low-amplitude multiperiodic δ Scuti star. A future interest addressed is to accurately determine the star's spectral type and then to judge a possible link to γ Doradus-type pulsation.  相似文献

Speckle-interferometric observations of FU Ori are performed with the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory with 600/40 nm and 800/100 nm (central bandwidth/halfwidth) filters. The companion star FU Ori S that was recently discovered at λ >-1.25µm was recorded in observations with the λλ==800/100 nm filter. The positional parameters and magnitude difference of the companion in the filter considered are found to be θ = (163.9 ± 1.0)°, ρ = (0.493 ± 0.007)″, Δm = 3.96 ± 0.28. An analysis of the spectral energy distribution of the companion implies that for the extinction A V toward FU Ori to be greater than about 1.6 m , i.e., the minimum value required by the available models of the fuor, the spectral type of the companion star must be no later than K3. The reliability of this conclusion and the possible ways for obtaining more accurate estimates of A V are discussed.  相似文献

The paper presents a class of interior solutions of Einstein–Maxwell field equations of general relativity for a static, spherically symmetric distribution of the charged fluid. This class of solutions describes well behaved charged fluid balls. The class of solutions gives us wide range of parameter K (0≤K≤42) for which the solution is well behaved hence, suitable for modeling of super dense star. For this solution the mass of a star is maximized with all degree of suitability and by assuming the surface density ρ b =2×1014 g/cm3. Corresponding to K=2 and X=0.30, the maximum mass of the star comes out to be 4.96 M Θ with linear dimension 34.16 km and central redshift and surface redshift 2.1033 and 0.683 respectively. In absence of the charge we are left behind with the well behaved fourth model of Durgapal (J. Phys., A, Math. Gen. 15:2637, 1982).  相似文献
