A layer of relict, high-temperature, prograde eclogite has been discovered within felsic granulite of the Gföhl Nappe, which is the uppermost tectonic unit in the Moldanubian Zone of the Bohemian Massif, the easternmost of the European Variscan massifs. Pressure-temperature conditions for eclogite (≥890  °C, 18.0  kbar) and felsic granulite ( c . 1000  °C, 16  kbar) place early metamorphism of the polymetamorphic Gföhl crustal rocks within the eclogite facies, and preservation of prograde compositional zoning in small garnet grains in high-temperature eclogite requires very rapid heating, as well as cooling. Mantle-derived garnet and spinel–garnet peridotites are associated with the high temperature-high pressure crustal rocks in the Gföhl Nappe, and this distinctive lithological suite appears to be unique among European Phanerozoic orogenic belts, implying that tectonic processes during the late stages in evolution of the Variscan belt were different from those in the Caledonian and Alpine belts. The unusually high temperatures and pressures in Gföhl crustal rocks, mineralogical evidence for rapid heating and cooling, juxtaposition of lithospheric and asthenospheric mantle with crustal rocks, and widespread production of late-stage granites indicate that culmination of the Variscan Orogeny may have been driven by lithospheric delamination and asthenospheric upwelling.  相似文献

Petrologic examination of coronites from the Bergen Arcs Complex in Norway revealed that garnet crowns formed due to clinopyroxene interaction with matrix plagioclase and spinel during the Grenville granulite-facies metamorphism (at T ~ 960°C and P = 1.3 GPa). Along with this, the rocks show evidence of reactions related to superimposed Caledonian eclogite-facies metamorphism. These are microscopic coronas consisting of omphacite, kyanite, corundum, amphibole, and biotite. The rims formed under aqueous conditions with potassium introduction ata T ~ 710–730°C and P ~ 1.3–1.5 GPa. Local occurrence of eclogite metamorphism found at a great distance (>100 m) from shear zones of the eclogite metamorphic stage indicates that the whole eclogite succession and not only its local sites (shear zones) were heated to the eclogite-metamorphism temperature.  相似文献

Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) analyses have been performed on omphacite from ultra-high pressure (UHP) eclogites at the locality of Shima, Dabie Mountains, China. TEM reveals that the microstructures consist dominantly of dislocation substructures, including free dislocations, loops, tiltwalls, dislocation tangles and subboundaries. They were produced by high-temperature ductile deformation, of which the main mechanism was dislocation creep. Antiphase domain (APD) boundaries are common planar defects; an age of 470±6 Ma for UHP eclogite formation has been obtained from the equiaxial size of APDs in ordered omphacites from Shima, coincident with ages given by single-zircon U-Pb dating (471±2 Ma). HRTEM reveals C2/c and P2ln space groups in different parts of one single omphacite crystal, and no exsolution is observed in the studied samples, which is attributed to rapid cooling. 在海南木栏头地区首次发现了一套榴辉岩-高压麻粒岩组合。该岩石产出于沿海潮间带中,主要由石榴子石、绿辉石、角闪石、石英和金红石组成,含或不含黝帘石和(或)斜长石。由传统的地质温压计计算获得岩石峰期变质作用的温压条件约为800~850℃、1.5GPa,锆石U-Pb定年得到的变质时代为340~300Ma。榴辉岩-高压麻粒岩组合的发现对于深入理解海南岛构造属性、古特提斯洋东域构造演化过程等均具有重要意义。  相似文献

加拿大Slave克拉通Jericho金伯利岩筒携带的橄榄岩包体提供了研究大陆岩石圈地幔物质组成和热结构的窗口。文章总结了地幔岩矿物温压计的研究进展,测量了Jericho金伯利岩携带的9个新鲜橄榄岩包体的矿物主量元素和微量元素,并使用不同的矿物温压计估算了平衡温度和压力。结果表明Nickel 和 Green(1985)的石榴子石—斜方辉石压力计可以较好地估算含石榴子石橄榄岩形成时的压力,Taylor(1998)二辉石温度计和Nimis 和 Taylor(2000)单斜辉石温度计的计算结果一致。具有粗粒变晶结构的尖晶石—石榴子石橄榄岩和石榴子石橄榄岩样品的平衡温度为575~843℃,压力为2.4~3.6 GPa,表明Slave克拉通岩石圈地幔温度较低。而残斑结构尖晶石—石榴子石二辉橄榄岩的平衡温度1109℃,压力为5.0 GPa,来源深度为~156 km,可能被早期金伯利岩浆携带到岩石圈地幔中部冷却,然后再被侏罗纪喷发的Jericho金伯利岩筒带到地表。使用石榴子石—单斜辉石稀土元素温压计获得的平衡温度高于主量元素温度计的结果,表明Slave克拉通岩石圈地幔经历了逐渐冷却的过程。此外,Slave克拉通浅部的尖晶石橄榄岩保留了强烈亏损的早期岩石圈地幔特征,而下部的岩石圈地幔经历了金伯利岩熔体和硅酸盐熔体的交代作用。  相似文献

利用YJ-3000吨压力机,在1.0 GPa、室温至1000℃条件下采用超声波脉冲透射-反射法就位测量了闪长岩的纵波速度(Vp),并在720℃、780℃、870℃和980℃获得了4个实验产物.在1.0 GPa恒定压力下,闪长岩的VP随温度升高呈线性缓慢降低;当温度大于750℃时,波速开始大幅度下降.显微镜观察和电子探针鉴定结果表明:在不同温度下闪长岩内部的矿物发生了不同程度的脱水和部分熔融等反应.波速随温度升高呈线性和非线性下降,主要是由于在高温高压条件下岩石内部矿物发生热膨胀、脱水和部分熔融等反应引起了岩石内部结构和成分的变化而造成的.  相似文献

大别—苏鲁超高压(> 27× 108Pa) 变质带内的榴辉岩, 在大陆深俯冲、碰撞和折返剥露过程中, 大都遭受了强烈的变形和变质作用的重置与再造.但是, 大型榴辉岩体核部以及包裹于大理岩和石榴橄榄岩体内部的块状榴辉岩, 往往保留其初始简单的矿物组合、中-细粒状变晶结构和块状构造.详细地分析了块状榴辉岩的几何学、岩相学及变质作用特征, 指出它们是超高压榴辉岩递进及多期变质变形分解作用的残留体, 位于尺度不同的弱应变域内, 是大陆深俯冲及碰撞作用的真正记录.   相似文献

Strain patterns within mantle rocks and surrounding coarse‐grained felsic granulites from the Kutná Hora Crystalline Complex in the Variscan Bohemian Massif have been studied in order to assess their strain coupling. The studied rock association occurs within low‐strain domains surrounded by fine‐grained granulite and migmatite. The Doubrava peridotite contains closely spaced and steeply dipping layers of garnet clinopyroxenite, which are parallel to the NE–SW‐striking, high‐temperature foliation in nearby granulites, while the Úhrov peridotite lacks such layering. The Spa?ice eclogite is not associated with peridotite and shows upright folds of alternating coarse‐ and fine‐grained varieties bearing NE–SW‐striking axial planes. Electron back‐scattered diffraction measurements revealed full strain coupling between clinopyroxenites and coarse‐grained granulites in the S1 fabric that is superposed on the S0 fabric preserved in peridotites. The B‐type olivine lattice preferred orientation (LPO) characterizes the S0 fabric in peridotites and its reworking is strongly controlled by the presence of macroscopic clinopyroxenite layering. The S1 in clinopyroxenites and coarse‐grained granulites is associated with the LS‐type clinopyroxene LPO and prism <c> slip in quartz respectively. While the S1 fabric in these rock types is accompanied invariably by a sub‐vertical stretching lineation, the S1 fabric developed in reworked Úhrov peridotite is associated with strongly planar axial (010) type of olivine LPO. The peridotites with the S0 fabric are interpreted to be relicts of a fore‐arc mantle wedge hydrated to a various extent above the Saxothuringian subduction zone. The prograde metamorphism recorded in peridotites and eclogites occurred presumably during mantle wedge flow and was reaching UHP conditions. Strain coupling in the S1 fabric between clinopyroxenites and granulites at Doubrava and upright folding of eclogites at Spa?ice document a link between tectonic and magmatic processes during orogenic thickening, coeval with intrusions of the arc‐related calcalkaline suites of the Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex (c. 360–345 Ma). Juxtaposition of peridotites and granulites could be explained by a rheological heterogeneity connected to the development of clinopyroxenite layering in the upper mantle and a previously published model of a lithospheric‐scale transpressional arc system. It invokes vertical shearing along NE–SW trending, sub‐vertical foliations in the upper mantle that could have led to an emplacement of mantle bodies into the granulitized, orogenic root in the sub‐arc region. Clearly, such a transpressional arc system could represent an important pathway for an emplacement of deep‐seated rocks in the orogenic lower crust.  相似文献

The components and structures of lithosphere,inhomogeneous,are changing incessantly in different periods.Therefore,the state of load,called the pressure,in lithosphere is also incessantly changing.When the lithosphere volume remains the same,namely on the premise of isovolumes,the geobarmal gradient is:(dp/dh)v=(p/(e)h)v (p/(e)T)v(dT/dh)v.If β=(dp/dh)v/(p/(e)h)v is supposed,then β=1 rg-1Cv (dT/dh)v.When the geothermal degree in (dT/dh)v is zero,then the pressure grade of lithosphere is equal to the lithostatic grade,which is the minimum value in the pressure grade of lithosphere.Suppose that the lithosphere is made only up of quartz,Cv≌Cp=0.782 5.718×10-4 T-1.883×104T-2 (J·g-1·K-1) is obtained,which is the minimum one in lithospheric rock,and then the geothermal grade value of 20 ℃/km is calculated according to the geophysical transection data of Qinling Mountain orogeny.The results show that the high-pressure and ultrahigh-pressure eclogites in Jiangsu Province and Huangzhen,Dabie may,on the condition of incompletely isovolumes,occur in the depths of 17-40 km with the increase in geothermal temperature,whose values of β do not correspond to the theoretic value of 3.08.  相似文献

研究了大别山北部榴辉岩的变质岩岩石学。结果表明,该区榴辉岩相变质作用可分为早期(超高压)和晚期(高压)两个阶段,并在折返过程中形成了一系列特征性的退变质显微构造。其中,退变质结构主要包括:(1)由于压力降低而出溶形成的一些定向针状或叶片状矿物包裹体,如钠质单斜辉石中石英及石榴子石中的金红石、单斜辉石和磷灰石等;(2)冠状体或后成合晶,特别是石榴子石外围发育两期(“双层”)后成合晶;(3)反应边或退变边,如绿辉石的透辉石退变边、透辉石的角闪石退变边和金红石的钛铁矿退变边等。这些退变质结构为本区榴辉岩高级变质岩的快速折返过程和抬升历史提供了强有力的岩石学依据;石榴子石中针状矿物出溶体进一步证明研究区榴辉岩早期经历了超高压变质作用,峰期变质压力应大干4.0GPa,甚至可能达到5~7GPa或更高。  相似文献

冀北承德一带的高压麻粒岩多呈弱应变域构造透镜体,出现于由花岗片麻岩组成的宽阔的复式剪切带内,其代表的深部地壳热运动及相应的折返机制对华北克拉通的碰撞造山模式和克拉通构造演化模式研究有着重要的制约作用.冀北承德高压麻粒岩及其围岩的锆石U-Pb同位素定年结果显示,围岩原岩年龄约2500 Ma,大约在2297 Ma基性岩侵入花岗片麻岩,在大约2381 Ma后开始俯冲,经历高压麻粒岩相变质,经历俯冲及长期地壳加厚过程,于2001 Ma之后某个时间开始折返,在此过程中1896 Ma还有另外一期基性岩墙侵入,在1885 Ma经历了抬升过程与麻粒岩相退变质,而在1850 Ma经历了华北大面积高角闪岩相事件,甚至有部分熔融出现,此事件抹杀了大部分古元古代变质演化过程.由此可见,承德地区甚至整个华北北部古元古代地质演化历史并不是不同地点的一两期不同事件,而是一个复杂连续的演化过程,以往的研究只揭示了一期或两期事件,而承德地区高压麻粒岩的证据则记录了更多信息.  相似文献

A Preliminary Study of the Gas Hydrate Stability Zone in the South China Sea   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
Based on the analysis of sea-bottom temperature and geothermal gradient, and by means of the phase boundary curve of gas hydrate and the sea-bottom temperature versus water depth curve in the South China Sea, this paper studies the temperature and pressure conditions for gas hydrate to keep stable. In a marine environment, methane hydrate keeps stable at water depths greater than 550 m in the South China Sea. Further, the thickness of the gas hydrate stability zone in the South China Sea was calculated by using the phase boundary curve and temperature-depth equations. The result shows that gas hydrate have a better perspective in the southeast of the Dongsha Islands, the northeast of the Xisha Islands and the north of the Nansha Islands for thicker stability zones.  相似文献

The majority of coalbed methane(CBM) in coal reservoirs is in adsorption states in coal matrix pores. To reveal the adsorption behavior of bituminous coal under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions and to discuss the microscopic control mechanism affecting the adsorption characteristics, isothermal adsorption experiments under hightemperature and high-pressure conditions, low-temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption-desorption experiments and CO2 adsorption experiments were performed on coal samples. Results show that the adsorption capacity of coal is comprehensively controlled by the maximum vitrinite reflectance(Ro, max), as well as temperature and pressure conditions. As the vitrinite reflectance increases, the adsorption capacity of coal increases. At low pressures, the pressure has a significant effect on the positive effect of adsorption, but the effect of temperature is relatively weak. As the pressure increases, the effect of temperature on the negative effect of adsorption gradually becomes apparent, and the influence of pressure gradually decreases. Considering pore volumes of pores with diameters of 1.7-100 nm, the peak volume of pores with diameters 10-100 nm is higher than that from pores with diameters 1.7-10 nm, especially for pores with diameters of 40-60 nm, indicating that pores with diameters of 10-100 nm are the main contributors to the pore volume. The pore specific surface area shows multiple peaks, and the peak value appears for pore diameters of 2-3 nm, indicating that this pore diameter is the main contributor to the specific surface area. For pore diameters of 0.489-1.083 nm, the pore size distribution is bimodal, with peak values at 0.56-0.62 nm and 0.82-0.88 nm. The adsorption capability of the coal reservoir depends on the development degree of the supermicroporous specific surface area, because the supermicroporous pores are the main contributors to the specific pore area. Additionally, the adsorption space increases as the adsorption equilibrium pressure increases. Under the same pressure, as the maximum vitrinite reflectance increases, the adsorption space increases. In addition, the cumulative reduction in the surface free energy increases as the maximum vitrinite reflectance increases. Furthermore, as the pressure increases, the surface free energy of each pressure point gradually decreases, indicating that as the pressure increases, it is increasingly difficult to adsorb methane molecules.  相似文献

从内蒙古固阳 -武川地区的麻粒岩中 ,新近获得了 ( 2 648.5± 4 .6)Ma的单颗粒锆石U Pb不一致线上交点年龄和 2 673Ma2 0 7Pb /2 0 6Pb表面年龄 ,这是内蒙古地区 (包括晋冀蒙交界地区 )迄今获得的最大的锆石U -Pb年龄值 ,为华北陆台北缘 (西段 )麻粒岩相带的地壳演化研究提供了可靠的年代学依据。结合地质体之间的野外地质关系 ,对所获得的年龄信息进行了合理的地质解释 ,认为它代表研究区最后一次麻粒岩相变质作用的时代。同时探讨了后期岩浆作用、变形变质作用对测年数据地质解释的影响。  相似文献

Major- and trace-element and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic compositionsof garnet and clinopyroxene in kimberlite-borne eclogite andpyroxenite xenoliths were used to establish their origins andevolution in the subcontinental lithospheric mantle beneaththe central Slave Craton, Canada. The majority of eclogitescan be assigned to three groups (high-Mg, high-Ca or low-Mgeclogites) that have distinct trace-element patterns. Althoughpost-formation metasomatism involving high field strength element(HFSE) and light rare earth element (LREE) addition has partiallyobscured the primary compositional features of the high-Mg andhigh-Ca eclogites, trace-element features, such as unfractionatedmiddle REE (MREE) to heavy REE (HREE) patterns suggestive ofgarnet-free residues and low Zr/Sm consistent with plagioclaseaccumulation, could indicate a subduction origin from a broadlygabbroic protolith. In this scenario, the low REE and smallpositive Eu anomalies of the high-Mg eclogites suggest moreprimitive, plagioclase-rich protoliths, whereas the high-Caeclogites are proposed to have more evolved protoliths withhigher (normative) clinopyroxene/plagioclase ratios plus trappedmelt, consistent with their lower Mg-numbers, higher REE andabsence of Eu anomalies. In contrast, the subchondritic Zr/Hfand positive slope in the HREE of the low-Mg eclogites are similarto Archaean second-stage melts and point to a previously depletedsource for their precursors. Low ratios of fluid-mobile to lessfluid-mobile elements and of LREE to HREE are consistent withdehydration and partial melt loss for some eclogites. The trace-elementcharacteristics of the different eclogite types translate intolower Nd for high-Mg eclogites than for low-Mg eclogites. Withinthe low-Mg group, samples that show evidence for metasomaticenrichment in LREE and HFSE have lower Nd and Hf than a samplethat was apparently not enriched, pointing to long-term evolutionat their respective parent–daughter ratios. Garnet andclinopyroxene in pyroxenites show different major-element relationshipsfrom those in eclogites, such as an opposite CaO–Na2Otrend and the presence of a CaO–Cr2O3 trend, independentof whether or not opx is part of the assemblage. Therefore,these two rock types are probably not related by fractionationprocesses. The presence of opx in about half of the samplesprecludes direct crystallization from eclogite-derived melts.They probably formed from hybridized melts that reacted withthe peridotitic mantle.
