早期碳酸盐胶结作用是库车坳陷新生界浅埋藏河流相砂岩内除机械压实外目前正在进行的主要成岩作用,高分辨率电阻率成像测井资料为研究其特征及成因提供了重要的地球物理证据。在电阻率成像测井图像上,早期碳酸盐胶结物呈圆形、椭圆形或不规则斑块状、葡萄状等形态出现,多数顺层理方向分布,其产状有孤立状或分散状斑块、断续胶结纹层和连续胶结纹层等。它们可以发育于砂岩层顶部或底部,也可以与疏松未胶结或弱胶结砂岩呈互层或夹层状交替分布。早期碳酸盐胶结物的沉淀采取核心式胶结模式,即胶结物首先围绕少数核心沉淀,呈斑块状逐渐向外增生,直至从各个核心生长出来的碳酸盐胶结斑块相互靠近和连生导致砂岩层被完全胶结为止。砂体或砂层被碳酸盐胶结的过程遵循由外向内 (由砂体边缘向砂体中心 )、由高渗透纹层向低渗透纹层、由局部胶结核心向周围孔隙增生的规律.  相似文献

. Sinkholes are near-surface indicators of active karst features at depth, such as cavities, conduits and solutionally enlarged fractures. This study tests the usefulness of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) to identify and locate buried sinkholes as a means of interpreting the existence of these subsurface hydraulically-active karst features. GPR survey was made at the Ghor al Haditha area west of the Jordan-DSTF in the Jordan Valley Escarpment at the eastern Dead Sea shoreline. GPR profiles (100 MHz) made along the eastern Dead Sea shoreline showed a trough-like pattern of radar reflections outlining a series of possible filled sinkholes. This feature is about 38 m wide and about 12 m deep. Its width is consistent with the width of the feature obtained from the topographic map of the area. The GPR survey suggests that this feature has been filled with relatively dense and resistive materials. This structure lies almost directly above a major water bearing zone.  相似文献

Khuff Formation is of utmost importance in Saudi Arabia for oil and gas reservoir although it is composed mainly of limestone. This reason refers to the existence of intensive fractures which play a vital role in the increase in porosity and permeability of this formation. The fracture pattern in the study area was verified through 2D and 3D ground penetrating radar (GPR)-defined and electrical resistivity tomography (ERT)-defined surveys. In this respect, ten of 2D GPR surveys were collected along an intersected grid of profiles covering the study area while ERT data were collected along three profiles of the GPR grid. The results were interpreted in light of the field-based structural and stratigraphic assessment of the outcropping rocks. The analysis of the inverted ERT and filtered GPR sections revealed the presence of fractures. Several resistivity and electromagnetic reflection anomalies were laterally and vertically identified across the measured sections clarifying fractures that extend to a depth of 24 m in the limestone. Most fractures are oriented vertical to sub-vertical dipping both east-west and north-south.  相似文献

沾化凹陷古近系沙河街组沙三段深湖-半深湖暗色泥岩中发育大量的砂岩透镜体。通过密集采样,利用铸体薄片、X衍射、扫描电镜、荧光和阴极发光等分析方法研究了埋深3 199~3 201 m的典型砂岩透镜体表面和内部的各类成岩作用特征及其变化,发现透镜体砂岩内部强烈溶蚀,自砂体表面向砂体内部,碳酸盐胶结和石英、长石次生加大逐渐减弱。砂体表面的晚期碳酸盐胶结物形成致密胶结带,降低了砂岩物性,但这并不影响砂岩透镜体成藏。通过成藏时间与成岩次序研究,认为透镜体表面的晚期胶结发生在成藏之后,内部溶蚀发生在成藏之前。透镜体内部发育的次生孔隙表明早期溶蚀强烈,这为排烃高峰期的油气成藏提供了足够的储集空间,并减小了油气充注的毛细管阻力;后期砂体表面的晚期碳酸盐胶结物降低储层表面物性,导致毛细管阻力变大,抑制了油气充注,但成为透镜体油气藏的有利保存条件。因此,并非所有的透镜体表面致密胶结带都对透镜体成藏起到阻碍作用。  相似文献

Cement-porosity relationships are described from the Lower Triassic Sherwood Sandstone Group and the Middle Jurassic Ravenscar Group in the United Kingdom. Calcite cemented sandstones display a variety of replacement textures, with preferential replacement of grains and of overgrowth faces with high free-surface energy. Dolomite and siderite cemented sandstones display similar textures but replacement is less specific and euhedral overgrowth surfaces are commonly embayed by carbonates. Examination of the more porous sandstones with the scanning electron microscope reveals a range of pitting and embayment textures in authigenic overgrowths and in detrital grains. These range from small ‘v’-shaped notches and pits, through regular and irregular shaped embayments, into large depressions. These textures appear to be morphologically similar to the quartz surfaces seen in thin sections of carbonate cemented sandstones, and are interpreted to have been formed by the dissolution of pore-filling and grain replacive authigenic carbonates. This is confirmed by examination of experimentally exhumed overgrowth surfaces from carbonate cemented sandstones. These textures indicate that part of the intergranular porosity in these sediments is secondary in origin, and has been generated by the dissolution of carbonate cements. The identification of such textures may lead to a more confident interpretation of the nature of intergranular porosity in the subsurface.  相似文献

The oxidation and subsequent dissolution of sulfide minerals within mine tailings impoundments releases H+, Fe(II), SO4 and trace elements to the tailings pore water. Subsequent pH-buffering and hydrolysis reactions result in the precipitation of secondary phases such as gypsum, goethite and jarosite. In areas of intense precipitation, cemented layers or “hardpans” often form within the shallow tailings. Three cemented layers within pyrrhotite-bearing mine tailings at the Fault Lake, Nickel Rim and East Mine impoundments located near Sudbury, Canada, were examined. The location of the three cemented layers within the tailings stratigraphy varies as does their location relative to the water table. The morphology, mineralogy and chemical composition of the cemented layers also vary between sites. The bulk density within the three cemented layers all showed an increase relative to the surrounding uncemented tailings ranging from 9% to 29%. The porosity of each cemented layer decreased relative to the surrounding uncemented tailings ranging from an 8% to 18% decrease. The cemented layers also showed relative enrichment of total sulfur, carbon and trace elements relative to the surrounding uncemented tailings. Arsenic concentrations showed an enrichment in the cemented layers of up to 132%, Cd up to 99%, Co up to 84%, Cu up to 144%, Ni up to 693% and Zn up to 145% relative to the surrounding uncemented tailings. All the cemented layers studied show an evolution of the secondary phases with time from a gypsum–jarosite-based cement to a goethite-rich cement. The formation of these layers could potentially have a significant effect on the environmental impacts of sulfide-bearing mine waste.  相似文献

准噶尔盆地腹部深层超压顶面附近(现今埋深4400~6200m, 温度105~145℃) 砂岩中广泛出现的碳酸盐胶结作用和次生溶蚀孔隙与超压流体活动关系密切.由于超压封闭和释放引起其顶面附近砂岩中的孔隙压力和水化学环境的周期性变化可导致碳酸盐沉淀和易溶矿物溶解过程交替出现.根据腹部地区超压顶面附近深埋砂岩成岩作用、碳酸盐胶结物含量、储集物性、碳酸盐胶结物碳、氧同位素和烃源岩热演化模拟等资料的综合研究表明: 含铁碳酸盐胶结物是主要的胶结成分, 长石类成分的次生溶蚀孔隙是主要的储集空间类型, 纵向上深层砂岩碳酸盐胶结物出现15%~30%含量的地层厚度范围约在邻近超压顶面之下100m至之上大于450m, 碳酸盐胶结物出现大于25%含量高值带分布在靠近超压顶面向上的250~300m的地层厚度范围, 超压顶面附近砂岩中碳酸盐胶结物含量高值的深度范围也是次生溶蚀孔隙(孔隙度10%~20%) 发育带的范围; 因晚白垩世以来深部侏罗纪煤系有机质生烃增压作用, 导致在超压顶面附近砂岩晚成岩作用阶段深部富含碳酸盐的超压流体频繁活动, 所形成的碳酸盐胶结物受到了明显的与深部生烃增压有关的超压热流体和有机脱羧作用的影响; 超压流体多次通过超压顶面排放, 使得超压顶面附近砂岩遭受了多期酸性流体溶蚀作用过程, 形成了次生溶蚀孔隙发育带.   相似文献

Dolomite, magnesite, calcite and aragonite are described from sandstones and conglomerates of the Grödener Schichten of the Dobratsch in the Gailtal Alps, Carinthia — Austria. The carbonates occur as early and late diagenetic cements, as recrystallized matrix of more or less laminated carbonate layers (up to 0.5 m thick), as concretions, as fillings of early diagenetic shrinkage cracks and late diagenetic fissures and as crystals in open cavities and clefts. The formation of dolomite and magnesite may have been caused by pore solutions highly enriched in magnesium, which are likely to have formed by evaporation in a hypersaline environment. Magnesite and dolomite most probably have been formed diagenetically from aragonite and/or calcite during progressive evaporation cycles. Because of magnesite is a common constituent in Permo-Scythian sediments of the Eastern Alps, its presence is of importance for the evaluation of the environment. Additionally the wide-spread occurrence of magnesite within these post variscian sediments has important implications regarding the paleogeographical reconstruction and the evaluation of diagenetic processes.  相似文献

The Basal Salina Formation is a lower Eocene transgressive sequence consisting of interbedded shales, siltstones, and conglomeratic sandstones. This formation occurs in the Talara basin of northwestern Peru and is one of a series of complexly faulted hydrocarbon-producing formations within this extensional forearc basin. These sediments were probably deposited in a fan-delta complex that developed along the ancestral Amotape Mountains during the early Eocene. Most of the sediment was derived from the low-grade metamorphic and plutonic rocks that comprise the Amotape Mountains, and their sedimentary cover. Detrital modes of these sandstones reflect the complex tectonic history of the area, rather than the overall forearc setting. Unlike most forearc sediments, these are highly quartzose, with only minor percentages of volcanic detritus. This sand is variably indurated and cemented by chlorite, quartz, calcite, and kaolinite. Clay-mineral matrix assemblages show gradational changes with depth, from primarily detrital kaolinite to diagenetic chlorite and mixed-layered illite/smectite. Basal Salina sandstones exhibit a paragenetic sequence that may be tied to early meteoric influx or late-stage influx of thermally driven brines associated with hydrocarbon migration. Much of the porosity is secondary, resulting from a first-stage dissolution of silicic constituents (volcanic lithic fragments, feldspar, and fibrous quartz) and a later dissolution of surrounding carbonate cement. Types of pores include skeletal grains, grain molds, elongate pores, and fracture porosity. Measured porosity values range up to 24% and coarser samples tend to be more porous. Permeability is enhanced by fractures and deterred by clay-mineral cements and alteration residues.  相似文献

In the framework of the German R&D joint project CLEAN (CO2 large-scale enhanced gas recovery in the Altmark natural gas field), Rotliegend reservoir sandstones of the Altensalzwedel block in the Altmark area (Saxony-Anhalt, central Germany) have been studied to characterise litho- and diagenetic facies, mineral content, geochemical composition, and petrophysical properties. These sands have been deposited in a playa environment dominated by aeolian dunes, dry to wet sand flats and fluvial channel fills. The sediments exhibit distinct mineralogical, geochemical, and petrophysical features related to litho- and diagenetic facies types. In sandstones of the damp to wet sandflats, their pristine red colours are preserved and porosity and permeability are only low. Rocks of the aeolian environment and most of the channel fill deposits are preferentially bleached and exhibit moderate to high porosity and permeability. Although geochemical element whole rock content in these rocks is very similar, element correlations are different. Variations in porosity and permeability are mainly due to calcite and anhydrite dissolution and differences in clay coatings with Fe-bearing illitic-chloritic composition exposed to the pore space. Moreover, mineral dissolution patterns as well as compositions (of clays and carbonate) and morphotypes of authigenic minerals (chlorite, illite) are different in red and bleached rocks. Comparison of the geochemical composition and mineralogical features of diagenetically altered sandstones and samples exposed to CO2-bearing fluids in laboratory batch experiments exhibit similar character. Experiments prove an increase in wettability and water binding capacity during CO2 impact.  相似文献

A frequency domain electromagnetic (FDEM) and ground penetrating radar (GPR) study was conducted on an ephemeral stream in north-central Texas to determine if FDEM and GPR measurements can be combined to determine the electrical characteristics of current and ancient stream channels. GPR data were collected at several frequencies to image sedimentary structures of different scale lengths, and to determine the formation porosity and water content of stream sediments. FDEM measurements were collected using Geonics EM31 and EM34 loop–loop instruments on a profile along the current stream channel and five profiles perpendicular to the channel. The results indicate that the greater spatial resolution of the EM31 mapped the current and possible ancient channels better than the EM34, however, the EM34 provided depth information on the formations underlying the channel sediments that the EM31 could not image. GPR measurements taken along a point bar deposit with 200, 100 and 25 MHz antennae indicated that the higher frequency antenna better resolved channel structures including laminar bedding, trough scours and cross-bedding, however, lower frequency antenna (25 MHz) imaged sedimentary structures within the underlying channel sediments. Common midpoint GPR measurements collected along the point bar deposit were used to estimate the sediment formation porosity (26%) and the water content, during a dry period, of the unsaturated (12%) and saturated (26 or 100% of the pore space) sediments. The combined results indicated that the FDEM data should be collected first because of the speed and ease of measurements. The FDEM data (especially the EM31) pointed to the locations of possible sedimentary structures, which can then be resolved by using different frequency GPR measurements.  相似文献

苏北盆地金湖凹陷腰滩地区古近系阜宁组储层岩石类型以岩屑长石砂岩和长石砂岩为主,其成分成熟度中等,结构 成熟度中等到好。腰滩地区储层成岩作用主要包括压实、胶结、溶蚀和交代四种类型, 目前处于晚成岩阶段A期。研究区储 层的储集物性受成岩作用和构造运动的共同影响,主要表现为对孔隙度和渗透率的影响, 其中压实和胶结作用使储层原生 孔隙迅速减少、渗透率降低、储集物性变差,而溶解作用则是导致次生孔隙发育及改善砂岩储集性能的主要因素。压实作 用主要表现为刚性颗粒发生脆性破裂、塑性颗粒挤压变形或刚性颗粒嵌入塑性颗粒中、颗粒之间呈线接触和凹凸接触、碎 屑颗粒呈明显的定向排列等; 溶蚀作用表现为碳酸盐矿物的溶解; 胶结物主要为自生黏土矿物、碳酸盐和自生石英。交代作 用主要为碳酸盐胶结物交代石英、长石及岩屑颗粒及碳酸盐胶结物之间的相互交代等。构造运动使局部的储层物性得到改 善。  相似文献

Jaisalmer Formation consists of 360m thick succession of medium to coarse grained sandstones with interbeds of shale, claystone and occasional lignite that rest over Lathi Formation, is the basal part of the Jaisalmer basin. The rocks are exposed amidst desert, low mounds and shallow stone quarries. Sandstones were deposited in shallow marine to deltaic environments. The studied sandstones consist of abundant quartz followed by feldspar, mica, chert, rock fragments and heavy minerals. The study mainly deals with identification of various diagenetic features such as compaction, cementation and porosity evolution. During mechanical compaction rearrangement of grains took place and point, long and suture contacts were formed. The sandstones are cemented by iron oxide, silica overgrowth, carbonate and clay. Porosity has developed due to dissolution of iron, carbonate cement and feldspar grains. Dissolution and alteration of feldspar, lithic fragments and pressure solution were the main source of quartz cements. The sandstones show good amount of existing optical porosity with an average of 7.19%. Porosity reduction is mainly due to early stage of mechanical compaction and subsequent pervasive calcite and iron oxide cementation. Further, porosity reduced due to deposition of clay cement.  相似文献

The Bayana Basin forms the eastern most limit of north Delhi fold belt covering parts of northeastern Rajasthan. The deposition of sediments took place during middle Proterozoic in fluvial and shallow marine environments. The rocks are mainly clastics and include conglomerate, sandstone and shale. During mechanical compaction rearrangement of grains took place and point and long contacts were formed. The sandstones are cemented by iron oxide, silica, carbonate and barite. The porosity has developed due to dissolution of iron, carbonate cement and feldspar grains. Dissolution of quartz along grain boundaries and silica rich compaction pore water seems to be the main source of silica. These observations suggest progressive compaction which initiated at the sediment water interface and continued till deep burial diagenesis in a rapidly subsiding basin.  相似文献

Superimposed catagenetic transformations are sharply expressed at the Mikhailov deposit, Kursk Magnetic Anomaly. They are confined to the base of Devonian and Juarassic rocks, which transgressively overlap martite eluvium formed after jaspilites on the surface of a buried uplift. These processes resulted in the appearance of massive lenticular and domal bodies (sandstones and siltstones cemented by calcite or iron sulfides) among friable terrigenous rocks, ferruginization of limestones and their transformation into sideroplesite ores, and formation of carbonate and pyrite concretions. Secondary processes are likely to be related to both descending waters and confined solutions (often thermal) ascending from the aquiferous horizons in the lower part of the sedimentary cover and basement.  相似文献

Giant calcite-cemented concretions, Dakota Formation, central Kansas, USA   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Giant spheroidal concretions (cannonball concretions; some nearly 6 m in diameter) in fluvial channel‐fill sandstones at two localities of the Dakota Sandstone formed by import of cement constituents at a burial depth of <1 km. During cannonball concretion growth a self‐organizational process restricted concretions to a relatively few but widely spaced, and locally, evenly spaced, sites. Other forms of calcite cements at these localities are cement patches in the form of intergrown grape‐size concretions (grapestone), and, locally, pervasive cement. An early episode of invasion by thermogenically generated H2S, which reacted with iron oxides on detrital grains, generated scattered pyrite crystals and decimetre‐scale spheroidal pyrite concretions. Intergranular volumes (IGV) in the concretions range from 36% to 27%. The absence of a trend in IGV and of carbon and oxygen‐isotope ratios from cannonball centres to margins indicates that these concretions did not cement progressively outwards from the centre. Rather, the modern spheres represent the spatial extent of nucleation sites that were not otherwise organized within that volume. Carbon and oxygen‐isotope values for concretion calcites plot along a swath between depleted values of δ18C of ?36‰ and δ18O of ?13‰ and enriched values of ?4‰ and ?6‰, respectively. Four groups of calcites are evident on the basis of trace‐element content and suggest that the calcite precipitated across a range of oxidation conditions that do not correlate strongly with the isotopic compositions. Although fluvial overbank sandstones have some pedogenic calcite, the channel sandstones have at most a trace of pedogenic calcite and carbonate rock fragments, so that the bulk of cement components were imported to the sandstones. Carbon and calcium sources for calcite cement include marine limestone, carbonate shells, and anhydrite in addition to HCO derived from oxidized methane, most likely derived from beds underlying or laterally in communication with Dakota sandstones. HCO in ascending formation waters, released during compaction, mixed with meteoric water whose temperature and composition varied with time, to generate the 7‰ range in δ18Ocalcite values measured.  相似文献

塔里木盆地满加尔凹陷志留系砂岩为无障壁的潮坪、滨岸及辫状河三角洲沉积的岩屑砂岩和岩屑质石英砂岩,对满北和满东、满南地区志留系砂岩成岩作用序次尤其是碳酸盐胶结的时间、方式和特征、物性的对比研究认为:砂岩中碳酸盐胶结的时间早晚对砂岩孔隙演化具有重要影响,满北地区志留系砂岩发育有大量早期泥晶碳酸盐胶结,显微镜下研究表明这种胶结作用发生在岩石受到充分压实之前,呈基底式胶结,岩石颗粒呈点接触或漂浮状分布于早期碳酸盐胶结物之中,这种胶结作用抑制了岩石后期的压实作用。尽管目前其埋藏达5 000~6 500 m,但其经历的压实作用并不强烈,粒间发育大量早期的碳酸盐胶结物,后来这些胶结物被溶蚀,形成了大量次生孔隙。而在满东和满南地区的志留系砂岩,碳酸盐胶结发生在岩石经过充分压实之后,晚期的碳酸盐胶结物仅分布于岩石经充分压实后的粒间孔隙中,含量较前者低,后期可供溶蚀的碳酸盐比前者少,因而溶蚀形成的次生孔隙有限。因此,尽管满东满南地区志留系埋藏比满北浅(3 700~5 000 m),碳酸盐胶结物含量也低,也发育晚期碳酸盐胶结物的溶蚀,但岩石的压实作用比满北强,物性比满北低差。这主要与碳酸盐胶结的早晚有关,早期碳酸盐胶结对孔隙演化具有明显控制作用,有利于岩石孔隙的保存,为后来的溶蚀形成次生孔隙提供了条件。  相似文献

The middle part of the volcanosedimentary Zaonega Formation of the Ludikovian Suprahorizon (approximately 2.0 Ga) includes large carbonates concretions and lenses in shungite layers. Carbonate lenses and concretions are primarily elongated and flattened, and their thickness varies from tens of centimeters to a few meters. Some lenses retain relicts of lamination. Concretions are composed of calcite or dolomite. They contain abundant organic matter, as well as mica, talc, chlorite, quartz, and pyrite crystals. The calcite concretions contain some dolomite admixture (Mg/Ca = 0.011?0.045) and differ from sedimentary limestones by a low Fe/Mn value (0.3–2.1). The Sr content is as much as 385–505 μg/g in most samples and is low (86 μg/g) only in one sample. The Rb-Sr systematics of carbonate concretions was studied with the stepwise dissolution procedure, which included processing with the ammonium acetate solution (AMA fraction) to partially remove the secondary carbonate material, with dissolution of the residue in acetic acid (ACA fraction). In individual calcite samples, discrepancy between the measured 87Sr/86Sr values in the AMA and ACA calcite fractions shows a variation range of 0.0008–0.0033. The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio in the ACA fractions of the studied samples varies from 0.7053 to 0.7162. The ratio shows a positive correlation with Mg/Ca and the proportion of siliciclastic admixture and negative correlation with the Mn content. The concretions were formed when the sediments subsided, probably, during the transition from a zone with “mild” reductive conditions to zones with active sulfate reduction and methanogenesis. In the sulfate reduction zone, where most pyrite-bearing concretions were formed, the sediment was not geochemically exchaged with the bottom water and was evolved into a closed or semiclosed system. Processes of diagenesis in this zone promoted the release of the radiogenic 87Sr from the associated siliciclastic minerals, resulting in growth of the initial 87Sr/86Sr in concretions up to 0.7108–0.7162. Some calcite concretions, which lacked pyrite (or contained its minimal amount) were likely formed in a thin surficial sediment layer located above the sulfate reduction zone. Therefore, they precipitated Sr in isotope equilibrium with Sr of the bottom water. However, large concretions and carbonate lenses with an insignificant siliciclastic admixture could retain the signature of early diagenesis or even sedimentation. The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio in one of such samples with the siliciclastic admixture of 6.2% makes it possible to estimate the maximal value of this ratio (0.7053) in the Ludikovian paleobasin.  相似文献

The influence of the intrusion of basaltic dykes and sills was investigated on sandstones and siltstones of the Atane Formation (Turonian-Coniacian) from the Sarqaq area (Nûgssuaq peninsula, central West Greenland).In the unaltered rock sequence, the siltstones are dominated by kaolinite, quartz and feldspar. No cementation was observed. The sandstones which are prevalent in this formation are arkoses and lithic arkoses with quartz/feldspar ratios of about 1, with variable contents of rock fragments and with minor amounts of matrix. The matrix consists mainly of kaolinite, less frequently of illite-muscovite and smectite or interstratified illite-smectite. Cement minerals include calcite, Fe-calcite, both mainly in concretions, and subordinate Fe-oxide hydrates.The porosity of the sandstones and siltstones indicates a former maximum depth of burial of 1000 m in the Sarqaq region.Adjacent to thin dykes and sills (1–2 m) the above-described rocks are altered as follows. In sandstones albite (fibrous), quartzine, smectite, goethite were all formed at the expense of kaolinitic matrix, and aragonite cement. In siltstones, interstratified illite-smectite, illite, smectite and low-cristobalite replaced kaolinite. These minerals, especially smectite, exclude temperatures above 200°C; they were probably formed during a cooling period.Adjacent to thicker basalt intrusions—only sills, over 5 m thick, and no dykes are known from this area—the following alterations are observed. In sandstones two textural types of albite were formed in addition to: (1) fibrous albite mentioned above; (2) undulose lath-shaped albite; (3) coarse-twinned non-undulose replacement albite. Moreover, brownish luminescing undulose quartz, muscovite, chlorite, epidote, nontronite and anatase occur. In siltstones the mineral association muscovite-chlorite-pyrophyllite-albite occurs, suggesting temperatures in the range of 250–500°C. Additionally a 22–26 Å mixed-layer mineral (chlorite-muscovite?) formed. At the contacts of thick as well as thin basalt intrusions the detrital grains directly adjoining the basalt are partly fractured; potassium feldspar grains show also a chemical disintegration.The temperatures calculated by application of a cooling model are higher than those indicated by the mineral alterations observed. Convective heat transfer by pore water is suggested as an explanation.  相似文献

地质雷达探测以其分辨率高、定位准确、快速经济、灵活方便、剖面直观、实时图像显示等优点,成为地质调查中广泛使用的一种探测方法。本次宁夏青铜峡地区1∶5万新构造与活动构造区填图中运用地质雷达探测技术对第四系和隐伏断层进行了探测。结果表明,40 MHz地质雷达可以有效地探测地表以下30 m内的第四系结构,可清晰地识别出3套第四纪地层。这一地层结构划分被第四系浅钻证实,其为第四系全新统灵武组,自下而上由泥岩、砂砾石层和含砾的砂或泥等3套地层组成。对测区主干断裂——柳木高断裂南段的地质雷达探测表明,断裂带表现为近地表发散向下汇聚的正花状结构,这与探槽揭露的特征一致,表明地质雷达探测可以准确标定隐伏断层平面位置与垂向精细结构。本次宁夏地质填图证实,地质雷达技术是浅覆盖活动构造区进行隐伏断裂调查和第四纪地层层序划分的可行、高效、便捷的技术方法之一。  相似文献
