工程项目投资控制是工程项目管理的重要内容。如何减少投资，并最大限度地提高企业投资收益，已为广大房地产开发商及项目管理者热切关注，即为热点又是难点。长期以来，人们总是把投资控制放在审查施工单位的进度款和决算方面，然而这种控制存在明显的缺陷。因为在施工过程中，经常发现那些因设计不科学、不合理脱离实际而造成的投资浪费，且又无法得到纠正的情况，从而使工程投资控制限于十分被动的局面。     

数学地质之我见

随着科技的发展,社会的进步,人们的认识也在不断的深化.地质科学正从数字地质学为主向知识地质学为主过渡.知识地质学是基于知识信息处理、运用定性结构方法来解决复杂的地质问题.地球系统是一个复杂的封闭系统,其表层的任一子系统--地壳、大气、海洋、土壤、生态等都是开放的复杂巨系统.解决这种复杂巨系统,通常不得不采用计算机建模和模拟,而不是像以往研究简单系统那样,采用数学描述和数学模型.用计算机程序来表示一种理论,是信息技术发展的必然趋势,是比较容易理解的.而对于以定性结构表示的比较模糊的定律,也是以经验为基础的科学发展的必然结果.从数学理论的角度看,以上的定律(指定性结构定律)是不太严格的,但客观世界本身就不很严格,往往是模糊的.生命现象、社会现象、人的感知与经验等,难以用数学定理加以描述,只好采用定性结构定律来描述.运用定性结构定律也能准确地解决用定量方法解决不了的复杂问题.以往基于数学模型,定量方法解决地质问题的数学地质,面对以上的新形势,产生了新的矛盾数学地质用数学方法解决地质问题,而地质问题又不能准确用数学方法来刻画.面对这种形势,数学地质有两种选择一是维持现状,内涵与名称不变,顺其自然发展…….二是拓宽内涵,更改名称.作者倾向第二种选择,并建议将"数学地质"、更名为"信息地质".

Experimental proof: Residence time distribution in cascadography

By applying the principles of residence time distribution, the fundamental theorem of Cascadography states that a set of particles with identical residence times with exit a Cascadograph in a cluster. Since the validity of all Cascadographs depends on the accuracy of this theorem, it must be experimentally verified. This theorem was experimentally proven for the first time in a working Cascadograph.     

Effect of Sorption Heterogeneity on Moments of Solute Residence Time in Convergent Flows

In this paper, we analyze the impact of physical and chemical heterogeneity on solute travel time to a pumping well. We consider a solute undergoing reversible linear instantaneous equilibrium sorption. Both the distribution coefficient, K _d , and the transmissivity field, T, are considered spatially variable, and are modeled as partially correlated spatial random functions. Groundwater flow and solute transport are then solved within the context of a numerical Monte Carlo framework. The results are analyzed on the basis of dimensional analysis techniques. Simple and compact expressions characterizing the dependence of the target travel time moments on relevant dimensionless groups are proposed. The functional form of these expressions is inspired by, and is consistent with, the previous works of Sanchez-Vila and Rubin (Water Resour. Res. 39(4):1086, 2003) and Riva et al. (J. Contam. Hydrol. 82:23–43, 2006) A key result is that the effects of the chemical and physical heterogeneities on the mean travel time can be decoupled consistently with existing analytical results. The relative role of physical and geochemical heterogeneities in travel time variance is more complex, and such a decoupling is not observed. Potential uses of this work include the assessment of aquifer reclamation time by means of a single pumping well.

“My Paper, My Paper”: Reflections on the embodied production of postcolonial geographical responsibility in academic writing

This article asks the question: what are my responsibilities as a postcolonial geographical writer? It takes as its starting point three extracts from texts written by the writer on their journey towards becoming an academic: a catalyst moment, a moment of self-production as an academic, and a moment of (failed) academic production. This journey raises a problematic around the ways in which the body speaks in academic writing, and the remainder of the piece reviews the geographical literature on materiality in relation to the body, arguing that Deleuzian views of matter as agentic and creative are particularly helpful in comprehending and engaging responsibly with the indeterminate but insistent ways in which the body speaks in postcolonial academic writing.
