The theoretical and experimental investigation of a cable-stayed bridge after major repair is described in this paper. Strengthening mainly involved the suspension system (originally with prestressed concrete stays) which was retrofitted by means of external tendons. Full-scale tests were conducted to measure the dynamic response of the repaired system; the experimental program included both traffic-induced and free vibration measurements. A total of 16 vertical frequencies and mode shapes were identified in the frequency range of 0–10 Hz. In the theoretical study, vibration modes involving deck, towers and cables were determined by using finite element models which accounted for the strengthening effects. Two- and three-dimensional models were used so that the importance of three-dimensional modes was estimated as well. The experimental results were compared to natural frequencies and mode shapes computed using theoretical models. For most modes the measured and predicted modal parameters compare well, especially for the vertical modes involving in-phase motion of the stays. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The analysis of dynamic responses of cable-stayed bridges subjected to wind and earthquake loads generally considers only the motions of the bridge deck and pylons. The influence of the stay cable vibration on the responses of the bridge is either ignored or considered by approximate procedures. The transverse vibration of the stay cables, which can be significant in some cases, are usually neglected in previous research. In the present study, a new three-node cable element has been developed to model the transverse motions of the cables. The interactions between the cable behavior and the other parts of the bridge superstructure are considered by the concept of dynamic stiffness. The nonlinear effect of the cable caused by its self-weight is included in the formulation. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed model. Considerable effort has been devoted to develop passive and active methods for reducing structural response under seismic excitations. Passive control approaches have already found application in practice. Active control methods, on the other hand, are being vigorously examined for application to civil structures. This paper investigates the application of active and semi-active control schemes to structures subjected to seismic excitations, and it focuses on the use of the sliding-mode control approach for the development of the control algorithms. The possibility of control redundancy with respect to the number of sliding constraints is taken into account in the controller design. Several sets of numerical results are obtained for a realistic 10-storey shear building, subjected to earthquake-induced ground motions and controlled by active or semi-active control schemes. It is observed that both active and semi-active control schemes can be used to reduce the dynamic response. Active control performs very effectively in reducing the structural response, but the required control force values can be quite large to limit its practical application in the case of large and massive buildings. Active regulation of linear viscous dampers was found unnecessary for this type of structural system, as it did not induce any significantly more reduction in the response than the dampers acting passively. On the other hand, it is shown that active regulation of stiffness can be used with advantage to reduce the response. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Two linear optimal control laws and a non-linear control strategy are critically evaluated. They are implemented in a ten-story frame structure. For the linear control laws, both an active bracing system and a hybrid mass damper are considered as control devices, while the non-linear control law can be implemented with either an active or semi-active bracing system. The active and semi-active systems are compared to a passive bracing system with linear viscous dampers and to a hybrid system consisting of a passive bracing and a hybrid mass damper. Dimensionless indices based on the reduction of the maximum story drift and on the maximum control force required are introduced to compare the efficiencies of different control strategies. While the linear optimal control laws exhibit an excellent performance, the non-linear control law, in addition to its simplicity and robustness, appears to be more efficient when the allowable control force is within a certain limit. Furthermore, one attractive feature of the latter is that it can be implemented with semi-active devices to minimize the power requirement.  相似文献

振动法是测量实际索力的首选方法,但其测试精度会受到外界环境因素如温度、风和桥面对拉索作用等的影响。本文围绕如何将外界环境因素的影响降至最小,从测量时机的选取、数据处理方法的选择等方面,综合运用随机振动、风工程、非线性和误差分析理论,提出了提高拉索索力估算精度的实用改进方法,得出了一些有意义的结论。并通过哈尔滨松花江斜拉桥实例进行验证对比,结果表明,该方法具有较高的精度。  相似文献

The dynamic behaviour of two curved cable‐stayed bridges, recently constructed in northern Italy, has been investigated by full‐scale testing and theoretical models. Two different excitation techniques were employed in the dynamic tests: traffic‐induced ambient vibrations and free vibrations. Since the modal behaviour identified from the two types of test are very well correlated and a greater number of normal modes was detected during ambient vibration tests, the validity of the ambient vibration survey is assessed in view of future monitoring. For both bridges, 11 vibration modes were identified in the frequency range of 0ndash;10Hz, being a one‐to‐one correspondence between the observed modes of the two bridges. Successively, the information obtained from the field tests was used to validate and improve 3D finite elements so that the dynamic performance of the two systems were assessed and compared based on both the experimental results and the updated theoretical models. 提出采用黏滞阻尼器对拉索参数振动进行控制,建立了黏滞阻尼器控制拉索参数振动的运动方程。从频域和时域以及起振幅值等角度,研究了最优黏滞阻尼器对不同垂度拉索参数振动的控制效果;此外,还研究了最优黏滞阻尼器安装位置对拉索参数振动控制效果的影响。研究表明,黏滞阻尼器可以有效控制拉索的参数振动,控制效果与拉索的激励幅值、最优阻尼器的安装位置和斜拉索的垂度有关。激励幅值越大,控制效果一般越差;最优阻尼器的安装位置越靠近跨中,则控制效果越好;黏滞阻尼器对大垂度拉索的控制效果不及对小垂度拉索的控制效果。  相似文献

斜拉索是现代斜拉桥最重要的结构构件,索力在斜拉桥的施工控制和长期监测中起着重要作用。振动测试法是斜拉桥索力测定、监测和状态评估中应用最广泛的一种方法。振动法测索力的关键在于准确地识别出索的基频。本文使用自功率谱和倒频谱方法,基于MATLAB平台,开发出了斜拉桥拉索环境振动模态分析图形用户交互(GUI)工具箱,实现了斜拉索基频的快速自动识别。应用本文的方法,对福州青洲闽江主跨605m斜拉桥拉索的环境振动实测加速度数据进行了分析处理,斜拉索基频识别方便直观,结果可靠。  相似文献

提出了适用于控制大跨桥梁风致振动的杠杆式主动多重调谐质量阻尼器(LT-AMTMD)控制策略.利用建立的LT-AMTMD结构系统的动力放大系数,评价了LT-AMTMD的性能.数值结果表明,驱动器置于质量块处的LT-AMTMD比驱动器置于其它位置的LT-AMTMD更加有效.驱动器置于质量块处的LT-AMTMD可以根据实际需要,通过改变支撑位置来调节弹簧的静伸长,而且保持其性能不变(包括冲程).数值结果还表明,驱动器置于质量块处的LT-AMTMD可以明显地提高LT-MTMD的性能,而且比单个杠杆式主动调谐质量阻尼器(LT-ATMD)更加有效.  相似文献

A methodology is developed in this paper to include soil–structure interaction effects in optimal structural control, General Multi-Degree-Of-Freedom (MDOF) structural models are considered. The SSI transfer functions for ground motion and control force in the physical space are presented first, followed by a methodology for using system identification techniques to find an equivalent fixed-base model of an MDOF SSI system. An iterative technique is applied to combine these methods for the determination of optimal control gains. The control effectiveness of considering soil–structure interaction is investigated for the controlled SSI system. It is found that the control algorithm considering SSI effects is more effective than the corresponding control algorithm assuming a fixed-base system model. In addition, the advantage of applying this methodology is observed to be more prominent in the cases where the SSI effects are more significant. © 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

本文详细介绍了作者提出的液压粘弹性控制系统(HydraulicViscoelasticControlSystem简称HVES)的构成及工作原理,建立了分析模型,并对其控制效果以及各参数变化对控制作用的影响进行了探讨,最后号普通粘弹性阻尼器的控制效果进行了比较,研究结果表明,HVES是一种高效的振动控制系统,与普通耗能减振装置相比,具有控制效果更好,且不破坏结构使用能等特点,因此具有广阔的应用前景。  相似文献

本文利用振型变换技术,将设置了m个控制器的b自由度主动变刚度控制体系降阶为1个自由度的主动变刚度控制体系,进而提出了振型控制律-包括第一振型控制律和主振型控制律,仿真分析结果表明,第一振型控制律可以有效地控制受控结构的相对位移反应,主振型控制律则可以有效地控制受控结构的相对位移反应和层间位移反应。  相似文献

The spatial variability of input ground motion at supporting foundations plays a key role in the structural response of cable-stayed bridges (CSBs); therefore, spatial variation effects should be included in the analysis and design of effective vibration control systems. The control of CSBs represents a challenging and unique problem, with many complexities in modeling, control design and implementation, since the control system should be designed not only to mitigate the dynamic component of the structural response but also to counteract the effects of the pseudo-static component of the response. The spatial variability effects on the feasibility and efficiency of seismic control systems for the vibration control of CSBs are investigated in this paper. The assumption of uniform earthquake motion along the entire bridge may result in quantitative and qualitative differences in seismic response as compared with those produced by uniform motion at all supports. A systematic comparison of passive and active system performance in reducing the structural responses is performed, focusing on the effect of the spatially varying earthquake ground motion on the seismic response of a benchmark CSB model with different control strategies, and demonstrates the importance of accounting for the spatial variability of excitations.  相似文献
