We have presented in homogeneous cosmological models within the framework of Lyra geometry. We have considered an inhomogeneous spherically symmetric higher dimensional model in presence of a mass less scalar field whose potential has a flat part. The scalar field is considered to be inhomogeneous. Also an inhomogeneous cosmological model is derived in a Kaluza-Klein type of space time. The matter field is taken as an inhomogeneous distribution of fluid. It is observed that there is no singularity at finite past in our model and the desirable feature of dimensional reduction is also possible for the extra space. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Singularity-free Robertson-Walker cosmological models (RWCM) are developed by considering the cosmic matter as composed of an interacting viscous fluid (with zero bulk viscosity) and a massive scalar (meson) field. Solutions are obtained for two different cases, viz., when the Hubble's parameterH is epoch independent and whenH is epoch dependent. A solution corresponding to RWCM with only the massive scalar field as the matter content is also presented. The essential physical behaviour of the models developed are discussed in detail.  相似文献

This paper deals with the study of dynamical or phase space analysis of Bianchi I universe in Brans-Dicke gravity with chameleon scalar field. For this purpose, the matter contents are taken to be perfect fluid with magnetic field effects described by the non-linear Maxwell Lagrangian density. By taking some ansatz for the field potential and the interaction function in chameleon cosmology, we discuss three cases: Bianchi I universe with perfect fluid, FRW universe with magnetized perfect fluid and Bianchi I universe with magnetized perfect fluid. In all cases, we calculate fixed or critical points and discuss stability of the respective configuration for radiation as well as matter dominated eras. We also evaluate some cosmological parameters in each case for matter dominated era only and investigate their cosmological implications.  相似文献

Relativistic cosmological field equations are obtained for a Robertson-Walker space time interacting with viscous fluid and massive scalar field. The cosmological solutions to the field equations are obtained and the nature of the scalar field as well as the viscous fluid are studied. It is found that the solutions obtained are realistic only for a closed Universe. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

We have constructed a model in Lyra manifold and time varying cosmological constant with perfect fluid using LVDP (Linear Varying Deceleration Parameter). Bianchi type-III metric is used as source of investigation. To get a deterministic solution of the field equation the expansion scalar (θ) is considered as proportional to the shear scalar (σ). The cosmological constant is found to be positive which satisfies the result obtained by supernova Type-Ia Observations [1999]. Here we analyse the behaviour of pressure and deceleration parameter by using different form of dark energy(DE). In addition to it, some physical and geometrical properties of the solutions are studied.  相似文献

We look for cosmologies with a scalar field (dark energy without cosmological constant), which mimic the standard ΛCDM cosmological model yielding exactly the same large-scale geometry described by the evolution of the Hubble parameter (i.e. photometric distance and angular diameter distance as functions on z). Asymptotic behavior of the field solutions is studied in the case of spatially flat Universe with pressureless matter and separable scalar field Lagrangians; the cases of power-law kinetic term and power-law potential are considered. Exact analytic solutions are found in some special cases. A number of models have the field solutions with infinite behavior in the past or even singular behavior at finite redshifts. We point out that introduction of the cosmological scalar field involves some degeneracy leading to lower precision in determination of Ω m . To remove this degeneracy additional information is needed besides the data on large-scale geometry. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

The study of Einstein's field equations describing Robertson-Walker cosmological models with massive scalar field and viscous fluid representing the matter has been made. The problem has been investigated with and without the source density in the wave equation. Corresponding exact solutions of the field equations have been obtained under different physical equations of state: namely, (i) dust distribution, (ii) Zeldovich fluid distribution, (iii) disordered distribution of radiation subject to physically realistic conditions. The physical interpretations of the physically realistic solutions has been investigated. It has been found that physically realistic solutions has been obtained for closed cosmological models only.  相似文献

The Bianchi type-V cosmological model with viscous fluid and creation particle in Brans-Dicke theory has been considered. The present paper deals with Bianchi type-V cosmological model with bulk viscosity and particle creation described by full causal thermodynamics in Brans-Dicke theory. We have discussed two types of solutions of the average scale factor for a Bianchi type-V model by using a variation law of Hubble’s parameter, which yields a constant value of the deceleration parameter. The exact solutions to the corresponding field equations are obtained in quadrature form. The solutions to the Einstein field equations are obtained for power law and exponential form. The cosmological parameters have been discussed in detail.  相似文献

Raychaudhuri-type equations are derived for cosmological models filled with a perfect fluid and obeying the Brans-Dicke equations with a cosmological term depending on the scalar field. In addition, some general results on spatially homogeneous cosmological models are obtained in the theories due to Bergmann and Wagoner and Uehara and Kim.  相似文献

Non-static inhomogeneous cosmological models are obtained in general relativity for the case of a plane symmetric massless scalar field with cosmological constant A,when the source of the gravitational field is a viscous fluid. Some physical and geometrical behaviors of the solutions are also discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the properties of the quasi-steady state cosmological model (QSSC) developed in 1993 in its role as a cyclic model of the universe driven by a negative energy scalar field. We discuss the origin of such a scalar field in the primary creation process first described by F. Hoyle & J. V. Narlikar forty years ago. It is shown that the creation processes which take place in the nuclei of galaxies are closely linked to the high energy and explosive phenomena, which are commonly observed in galaxies at all redshifts. The cyclic nature of the universe provides a natural link between the places of origin of the microwave background radiation (arising in hydrogen burning in stars), and the origin of the lightest nuclei (H, D, He3 and He4). It also allows us to relate the large scale cyclic properties of the universe to events taking place in the nuclei of galaxies. Observational evidence shows that ejection of matter and energy from these centers in the form of compact objects, gas and relativistic particles is responsible for the population of quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) and gamma-ray burst sources in the universe. In the later parts of the paper we briefly discuss the major unsolved problems of this integrated cosmological and cosmogonical scheme — the understanding of the origin of the intrinsic redshifts, and the periodicities in the redshift distribution of the QSOs.  相似文献

A variant of the Jordan-Brans-Dicke (JBD) theory is examined which contains a cosmological scalar that is written so that on going to the Einstein representation it becomes the ordinary cosmological constant of general relativity theory. This paper is divided into two parts. In Part I we examine the cosmological solutions for the Einstein representation of the JBD theory, i.e., in the presence of a minimally coupled scalar field. In Part II we shall study the cosmological solutions in the proper representation of the JBD theory with a self consistent scalar field. The analysis of these solutions is of interest in connection with modern concepts of the evolution of the universe, in particular, with the observed acceleration of cosmological expansion and estimates of the density of dark matter and dark energy.__________Translated from Astrofizika, Vol. 48, No. 3, pp. 455–462 (August 2005).  相似文献

We investigate the late-time dynamics of a four-dimensional universe based on the effective action of a Brans-Dicke scalar field in the presence of the matter source term, conformal coupling of the scalar curvature to the scalar field, a dynamical cosmological constant and Gauss-Bonnet higher-order terms in the scalar curvature. Many new interesting features are revealed and discussed in some details.  相似文献

The universe with adiabatic matter creation is considered. It is thought that the negative pressure caused by matter creation can play the role of a dark energy component, and drive the accelerating expansion of the universe. Using the Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) data, the observational Hubble parameter data, the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) data and the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) data, we make constraints on the cosmological parameters, assuming a spatially flat universe. Our results show that the model with matter creation is consistent with the SNe Ia data, while the joint constraints of all these observational data disfavor this model. If the cosmological constant is taken into account, a traditional model without matter creation is favored by the joint observations.  相似文献

In this paper, we have constructed a five dimensional LRS Bianchi type I cosmological model with wet dark fluid (WDF) in general relativity with the matter field described as bulk viscosity. It is found that in presence of bulk viscosity an inflationary effective stiff fluid cosmological model is obtained, whereas in absence of bulk viscosity the wet dark fluid degenerate to stiff fluid. Some physical and geometrical properties of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

In a BransDicke (BD) cosmological model, the energy density associated with some scalar field decreases as a 2[( o +1/2)/( o +1)] with the scalefactor a ( t ) of the universe, giving matter with an equation of state In this model, the universe could be closed but still have a non-relativistic matter density corresponding to its critical value, o =1. Different cosmological expressions, such as luminosity distance, angular diameter, number count and ratio of the redshift thicknessangular size, are determined in terms of the redshift for this model.  相似文献

We study how the constants G and Λ may vary in different theoretical models (general relativity with a perfect fluid, scalar cosmological models (“quintessence”) with and without interacting scalar and matter fields and a scalar-tensor model with a dynamical Λ) in order to explain some observational results. We apply the program outlined in section II to study three different geometries which generalize the FRW ones, which are Bianchi V, VII0 and IX, under the self-similarity hypothesis. We put special emphasis on calculating exact power-law solutions which allow us to compare the different models. In all the studied cases we arrive at the conclusion that the solutions are isotropic and noninflationary while the cosmological constant behaves as a positive decreasing time function (in agreement with the current observations) and the gravitational constant behaves as a growing time function.  相似文献

A flat FLRW (Friedmann–Lemaitre–Robertson–Walker) cosmological model with perfect fluid comprising of variable Chaplygin gas (VCG) has been studied in the context of f(R, T) gravity with particle creation. The solutions of the modified field equations are obtained through three different considered form of scale factors. The effective pressure is negative throughout the evolution of universe, which leads to accelerated expansion of the universe. In addition to that we have also discussed the importance of particle creation pressure on the cosmological parameters, energy conditions and state-finder diagnostic parameters. It is noticed that the time evolution of source function yields almost constant particle production at late times.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a spatially flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmological model with cosmological constant, containing a stiff fluid and a classical Dirac field. The proposed cosmological scenario describes the evolution of effective dark matter and dark energy components reproducing, with the help of that effective multifluid configuration, the quintessential behavior. We find the value of the scale factor where the effective dark energy component crosses the phantom divide. The model we introduce, which can be considered as a modified ΛCDM one, is characterized by a set of parameters which may be constrained by the astrophysical observations available up to date.  相似文献
