广州亚运会帆船帆板的比赛项目于2010年11月在汕尾红海湾广东省水上运动基地举行。根据2009年11月海上浮标观测数据,分析了红海湾赛场的海面风场特征及日变化规律;并根据地面气压场特点和风场日变化特征对海面风场进行了分类;最后,结合海-陆气压差观测数据,初步探讨海陆热力差异与海面风日变化的关系。结果表明:11月红海湾赛场以偏北和偏东风为主,风向具有近似余弦函数的日变化特征;风速的日变化不明显,但午后14—18时弱风和强风的出现机会较少,最适合比赛。11月红海湾赛场的海面风可归纳为海陆型、系统转折型和阴天型三种类型,三种类型的海面风分别占月总日数的46.7%、33.3%和20%。浮标-海丰观测站的气压差与海面风南北分量的变化有密切关系,可作为海面风场的有效预报指标。  相似文献

利用WRF模式和GFS资料对乌鲁木齐机场一次东南大风天气进行了预报和地形敏感性试验。模式预报的结果表明:WRF模式对东南大风的起风时间、持续时间、风速大小等方面有较强的预报能力。地形敏感性试验表明:1乌鲁木齐市区与机场300m左右的高度差对机场风速的影响很大;2机场上空下沉运动的强弱与东南大风的强弱有很好的对应关系;3机场东南大风的风速变化并不总是与峡谷两端气压梯度力的变化同步。此次东南大风天气的产生是低空动量下传、狭管效应和下坡风共同作用的结果。动量下传主要出现在海拔2000m以下的高度,下坡风主要出现在海拔935m以下的高度。  相似文献

During the Regional Air Pollution Study (RAPS), winds in the St. Louis region were recorded by surface stations (hourly averages) and by multiple upper air releases (on-the-hour). This study analyzes differences (1) between upper air and surface resultant winds, (2) among upper air winds at 4 sites, and (3) among surface winds at 25 sites. The extensive data set provides a statistical basis for indicating the representativeness of individual observations, and the results show considerable variation between simultaneously-measured winds determined by alternate means. Based on Gaussian plume dispersion, the spatial variations in wind direction are translated into expected departures between predictions and observations of pollutant concentrations. Inaccurate specification of winds in air quality simulation models is likely to be a substantial contributor to differences between short-term predictions and observations on an urban scale.On assignment from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U. The diurnal variation of surface winds off the coast of Oregon is described and compared with a recent analysis of winds off the coast of Peru. The Oregon wind speeds have a distinct 24-h periodicity, while the Peru wind speeds were reported to have an irregular 12-h variation. The long-and trans-shore components of both winds exhibit 24-h periodicities; the ratio of the long-shore to trans-shore diurnal amplitudes off Oregon is 2.8, twice the ratio found off Peru. Although meteorological conditions off Oregon were quasi-stationary during the period investigated, there were considerable day-to-day variations in diurnal amplitudes and phases. Diurnal amplitudes were found to be correlated with the daily mean long-shore winds.  相似文献

本文利用丽江机场2013~2015年自动气象站地面风场资料,分析了地面风场变化特征,并就地面风的飞行气象保障进行了总结。结果表明:丽江机场各季盛行偏西南风,且风速最大;东北风频率较大,常造成顺风超标;白天盛行西南风,夜晚和早晨盛行东北风;大风主要出现在1~4月12~18时;风切变有93%出现在冬春季。   相似文献

本文构造了一个34层球坐标原始方程波-流相互耦合谱模式,利用此模式从拉格朗日平均环流的观点研究了在常定流下行星波对臭氧的输运作用。研究结果表明,行星波对臭氧的输运有明显的季节变化,在北半球冬季,由于行星波上传到平流层而大大增强了中高纬地区向极地向下的O3输运;并且还表明,热带纬向风的QBO不仅通过影响东、西风切变而引起热带O3分布的年际变化,而且通过影响行星波的传播引起了行星波对O3输运的年际变化,这表现为当热带纬向风处于东风位相时,中高纬地区行星波对O3的输运比西风位相时强。  相似文献

Based on analysis of the meridional winds over oceanic areas and SST for 1950-1979 extracted from the data sets of COADS, the long-term variability of the meridional winds over the equatorial Indian-Pacific oceans and its relationship to the onset and development of El Nino events have been studied. The major results are as follows:(1) There is a great similarity between ITCZ over the Pacific and SST in the seasonal trend, with ITCZ and high SST found in the Southern Hemisphere in winter and in the Northern Hemisphere in summer.During El Nino years, unusual meridional winds were often observed, with significant convergence of meridional winds occurring over near-equatorial regions.(2) For the near-equatorial meridional winds, there are three types of interannual LFO:QBO, SO, FYO. QBO plays an important role in the unusual behavior of meridional winds for El Nino years, while SO is very important for both El Nino and cold water years. These two oscillations may fit well to the observed variation in the meridional wind. FYO may enhance the variation of meridional winds.(3) Interannual LFO of meridional winds originates in the Indian Ocean-Maritime Continent and coastal area of East Pacific. Unusual activities of winter monsoon in both hemispheres and trade winds off the coastal area of East Pacific are believed to be their major cause.(4) Monsoon-trade interaction shows up in the significant amplification of the disturbances of meridional winds while they propagate eastward from monsoon area to trade wind area.  相似文献

利用广汉机场2010~2014年遥测地面风场资料,分析了春季地面风的年变化、月变化以及日变化特征,讨论了地面风对飞行训练的影响。结果表明:广汉机场春季盛行偏北风,此外主要还受到北西北、北东北风的影响,飞行训练易遭遇左侧风;4~5m/s以及6m/s以上的地面风日数年变化不大,但春季最大风速的年变化差异较大;3~5月月平均地面风速呈递增特征,从3月到5月主导风向由北风顺时针变化为东北风,东东南、东南、南东南风频率逐渐增加,左侧风以及逆风影响增大。地面风速的日变化呈现出“一峰一谷”的大陆型变化特征,即白天风速大,夜间风速小,午后风速最大,4~5m/s的风受日变化影响大,6m/s以上的风主要受天气系统的影响。   相似文献

A large-eddy simulation model with rotated coordinates and an open boundary is used to simulate the characteristics of katabatic flows over simple terrain. Experiments examine the effects of cross winds on the development of the slope-flow boundary layer for a steep (20°) slope and the role of drainage winds in preventing turbulence collapse on a gentle slope (1°). For the steep flow cases, comparisons between model average boundary-layer velocity, temperature deficit, and turbulence kinetic energy budget terms and tower observations show reasonable agreement. Results for different cross slope winds show that as the cross slope winds increase, the slope flow deepens faster and behaves more like a weakly stratified, sheared boundary layer. Analysis of the momentum budget shows that near the surface the flow is maintained by a balance between downslope buoyancy forcing and vertical turbulence flux from surface drag. Above the downslope jet, the turbulence vertical momentum flux reverses sign and acceleration of the flow by buoyancy is controlled by horizontal advection of slower moving ambient air. The turbulence budget is dominated by a balance between shear production and eddy dissipation, however, buoyancy and pressure transport both are significant in reducing the strength of turbulence above the jet. Results from the gentle slope case show that even a slight terrain variation can lead to significant drainage winds. Comparison of the gentle slope case with a flat terrain simulation indicates that drainage winds can effectively prevent the formation of very stable boundary layers, at least near the top of sloping terrain.  相似文献

ECMWF reanalysis (ERA–interim) data of winds for two solar cycles (1991–2012) are harmonically analyzed to delineate the characteristics and variability of diurnal tide over a tropical site (13.5° N, 79.5° E). The diurnal cycle horizontal winds measured by Gadanki (13.5° N, 79.2° E) mesosphere–stratosphere–troposphere (MST) radar between May 2005 and April 2006 have been used to compute 24 h tidal amplitudes and phases and compared with the corresponding results obtained from ERA winds. The climatological diurnal tidal amplitudes and phases have been estimated from surface to ~33 km using ERA interim data. The amplitudes and phases obtained in the present study are found to compare reasonably well with Global Scale Wave Model (GSWM–09). Diurnal tides show larger amplitudes in the lower troposphere below 5 km during summer and in the mid-stratosphere mainly during equinoctial months and early winter. Water vapor and convection in the lower troposphere are observed to play major roles in exciting 24-h tide. Correlations between diurnal amplitude and integrated water vapor and between diurnal amplitude and outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) are 0.59 and ?0.34, respectively. Ozone mixing ratio correlates (ρ?=?0.66) well with diurnal amplitude and shows annual variation in the troposphere whereas semi-annual variation is observed at stratospheric heights with stronger peaks in equinoctial months. A clear annual variation of diurnal amplitude is displayed in the troposphere and interannual variability becomes prominent in the stratosphere which could be partly due to the influence of equatorial stratospheric QBO. The influence of solar activity on diurnal oscillations is found to be insignificant.  相似文献

There is an increased demand for the accurate prediction of fog events in the Sichuan Basin (SCB) using numerical methods. A dense fog event that occurred over the SCB on 22 December 2016 was investigated. The results show that this dense fog event was influenced by the southwest of a low pressure with a weak horizontal pressure gradient and high relative humidity. This fog event showed typical diurnal variations. The fog began to form at 1800 UTC on 21 December 2016 (0200 local standard time on 22 December 2016) and dissipated at 0600 UTC on 22 December 2016 (1400 local standard time on 22 December 2016). The Weather Research and Forecasting model was able to partially reproduce the main features of this fog event and the diurnal variation in the local mountain to basin winds. The simulated horizontal visibility and liquid water content were used to characterize the fog. The mountain to basin winds had an important role in the diurnal variation of the fog event. The positive feedback mechanism between the fog and mountain to basin winds was good for the formation and maintain of the fog during the night. During the day, the mountain to basin wind displayed a transition from downslope flows to upslope flows. Water vapor evaporated easily from the warm, strong upslope winds, which resulted in the dissipation of fog during the day. The topography surrounding the SCB favored the lifting and condensation of air parcels in the lower troposphere as a result of the low height of the lifting condensation level.  相似文献

A detailed study of long-term variability of winds using 30 years of data from the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts global reanalysis (ERA-Interim) over the Indian Ocean has been carried out by partitioning the Indian Ocean into six zones based on local wind extrema. The trend of mean annual wind speed averaged over each zone shows a significant increase in the equatorial region, the Southern Ocean, and the southern part of the trade winds. This indicates that the Southern Ocean winds and the southeast trade winds are becoming stronger. However, the trend for the Bay of Bengal is negative, which might be caused by a weakening of the monsoon winds and northeast trade winds. Maximum interannual variability occurs in the Arabian Sea due to monsoon activity; a minimum is observed in the subtropical region because of the divergence of winds. Wind speed variations in all zones are weakly correlated with the Dipole Mode Index (DMI). However, the equatorial Indian Ocean, the southern part of the trade winds, and subtropical zones show a relatively strong positive correlation with the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI), indicating that the SOI has a zonal influence on wind speed in the Indian Ocean. Monsoon winds have a decreasing trend in the northern Indian Ocean, indicating monsoon weakening, and an increasing trend in the equatorial region because of enhancement of the westerlies. The negative trend observed during the non-monsoon period could be a result of weakening of the northeast trade winds over the past few decades. The mean flux of kinetic energy of wind (FKEW) reaches a minimum of about 100?W?m?2 in the equatorial region and a maximum of about 1500?W?m?2 in the Southern Ocean. The seasonal variability of FKEW is large, about 1600?W?m?2, along the coast of Somalia in the northern Indian Ocean. The maximum monthly variability of the FKEW field averaged over each zone occurs during boreal summer. During the onset and withdrawal of monsoon, FKEW is as low as 50?W?m?2. The Southern Ocean has a large variation of about 1280?W?m?2 because of strong westerlies throughout the year.  相似文献

本文综合利用2015—2020年地面气象观测资料、欧洲中心ERA5再分析资料及大气环境监测数据,分析了汾渭平原东部运城市污染物浓度的变化特征以及与天气形势和气象要素的关系。结果表明:①2015—2020年期间运城市PM2.5、PM10、SO2、NO2、CO 5种污染物年平均浓度呈下降趋势,而O3浓度呈上升趋势;②冬季和夏季空气质量相对较差,首要污染物分别是PM2.5和O3,边界层高度的变化与近地层风向风速、污染物浓度的关系密切,冬季(夏季)PM2.5(O3)污染较重时边界层高度较低(较高),以东北风(东南风)为主,风速偏小(偏大);③最后利用自组织映射神经网络(SOM)算法分别对冬夏925 hPa位势高度场进行天气分型并开展不同天气形势下污染物浓度与气象要素的变化对比研究,发现冬季污染时以静稳天气为主,低层弱东北风将污染物输送至运城市,而夏季O3污染较重时受热低压形势控制,利于O3前体物汇合,太阳辐射较强时O3浓度较高。  相似文献

Abstract

Cloud‐motion winds measured from organized and disorganized cumulus cloud fields are compared with winds measured at collocated buoys in the northeast Pacific Ocean. Findings suggest that an automated tracking algorithm using GOES satellite imagery can measure cloud‐level winds at these latitudes. Comparisons with buoy wind measurements show that the influence of boundary‐layer stability should be included in estimates of surface winds from cloud‐motion data.  相似文献

利用1953--2010年南岳高山站风观测资料,采用趋势分析、矢量分解、小波分析及M-K突变分析等方法,分析了南岳站风的气候变化特征。结果表明:(1)南岳山盛行风具有明显的季节变化,春夏盛行西南风,秋冬盛行北风。(2)年平均风速呈显著减弱趋势,减小速率为-0.25m·^-1/10年,四季中夏季变率最大,冬季变率最小,夏、冬季分别从20世纪70年代后期和80年代后期开始风速发生了明显减弱。风矢量分解后显示,经、纬向风速均呈减弱趋势,经向风速的减小速率远大于纬向,南、北风分量风速都在减弱,北风分量风速减小速率明显大于南风分量,西、南风分量仅在夏季显著减弱,而北风分量在春、秋、冬季都呈显著减弱趋势。分析还发现,南岳山风场年代际变化特征显著,年以及冬季平均风速16年周期振荡在20世纪90年代后发生了明显转折,与同时期的大气环流变化趋势基本一致。  相似文献

Abstract

Hourly observations of temperature difference between the 61 ‐ and 6.1‐m levels of the Montréal Botanical Gardens meteorological tower from December 1967 to November 1972 have been stratifïed according to wind direction and season, and have been analysed to find any variation of the urban stability with respect to wind direction. A maximum in stability was found to be associated with easterly and southeasterly winds, and a maximum in instability with westerly and northwesterly winds. The amplitude of this variation is such that the instability for the three hours around noon moves, according to Pasquill nomenclature, from class A (very unstable) to class D (neutral), thus generating notable differences between the coefficients of dispersion used in the Gaussian dispersion and hence between the pollutant concentrations calculated with these various coefficients.  相似文献

利用天津塘沽的CINRAD-SA型新一代多普勒雷达体扫描垂直积分液态水含量(VIL)产品资料,结合地面大风灾情报告和实况资料,对地面灾害性大风出现前VIL值的演变、发展情况进行了统计分析。结果表明:VIL值达到30kg/m2是地面灾害性大风出现的阈值,VIL值达到或超过40kg/m2则可以看作是大风的一个预警指标;VIL值达到最大后的快速减小意味着将出现地面灾害性大风,VIL值快速减小后的突然跃增则是地面灾害性大风开始的标志。应用评分系统命中率、误警率、临界成功指数检验了上述预警指标,结果表明VIL产品预警地面灾害性大风是可用的,而且随时间调整阈值大小,可以大大提高地面灾害性大风预警的命中率和临界成功指数;地面灾害大风出现前预报员有12~18min的时间用于发布短时、临界大风天气预报和大风预警。  相似文献

利用17年(1979~1995)的NMC全球格点分析资料及从NOAA极轨卫星观测的地球向外长波辐射(OLR)资料,研究了南海夏季风暴发的年际变化特征。用本文的定义标准,南海季风从1979年到1995年间暴发的平均日期是5月第4候。南海夏季风暴发前后,南海周围地区对夏季风暴发的直接影响来自南海上游70°~90°E的赤道西风的加强和北抬东伸,同时索马里越赤道气流的加强和阿拉伯海高压在海上消失通过影响赤道西风也间接影响到南海。其中阿拉伯海反气旋的消失可能是南海夏季风暴发的一个重要信号。南海夏季风暴发的年际变化较  相似文献

利用2006—2015年泰山气象站的降水pH、电导率、降水量和风向风速资料,统计分析了泰山酸雨特征和变化趋势,探讨了降水量和风向风速对酸雨的影响。结果表明,泰山降水年均pH变化范围为4.31~4.99,酸雨发生频率达到69.3%;pH随降水量的增加而趋于5.60(中性);5月至次年1月的月均pH与月平均过程降水量的变化趋势一致;月均电导率与月平均过程降水量的变化趋势相反。泰山降水期间盛行西南风,在南风和东北风条件下,酸雨出现频率最高且酸性最强,这主要是风速风向因素和人为排放源分布共同导致的。近10 a泰山降水酸性程度有所减弱,酸雨频率明显下降,表明近年来酸雨污染情况有所改善,有利于保护泰山生态环境。  相似文献
