The 4 × 4 T -propagator matrix of a 3D central ray determines, among other important seismic quantities, second-order (parabolic or hyperbolic) two-point traveltime approximations of certain paraxial rays in the vicinity of the known central ray through a 3D medium consisting of inhomogeneous isotropic velocity layers. These rays result from perturbing the start and endpoints of the central ray on smoothly curved anterior and posterior surfaces. The perturbation of each ray endpoint is described only by a two-component vector. Here, we provide parabolic and hyperbolic paraxial two-point traveltime approximations using the T -propagator to feature a number of useful 3D seismic models, putting particular emphasis on expressing the traveltimes for paraxial primary reflected rays in terms of hyperbolic approximations. These are of use in solving several forward and inverse seismic problems. Our results simplify those in which the perturbation of the ray endpoints upon a curved interface is described by a three-component vector. In order to emphasize the importance of the hyperbolic expression, we show that the hyperbolic paraxial-ray traveltime (in terms of four independent variables) is exact for the case of a primary ray reflected from a planar dipping interface below a homogeneous velocity medium.  相似文献

将二维线性走时插值射线追踪算法(LTI)推广应用至三维模型,并结合网格界面剖分方式,提出了一种三维射线追踪算法.该算法既可获得高精度的全局最小走时和射线路径,又具有快速稳定的特点.三维模型计算结果表明,在模型参数包括网格密度完全相同情况下,本文算法较传统的三维最短路径算法在计算效率、走时和射线的计算精度上均有明显改进.  相似文献

A review of the 6 × 6 anisotropic interface ray propagator matrix in Cartesian coordinates and within the framework of the Hamiltonian formalism shows that there is one unique propagator satisfying the symplectic property. This is essential, since the symplecticity furnishes an exact inverse, while an eigenvalue analysis indicates that the propagator may be arbitrarily ill-conditioned. As such, the symplectic interface propagator naturally connects to symplectic ray integration algorithms for smooth media, designed to maintain accuracy. Moreover, several ray invariants for smooth media remain invariant across interfaces. It is straightforward to derive expressions for the interface propagator, both explicit and implicit. Symplecticity is equivalent to the condition that the propagator preserves the eikonal constraint across the interface. The symplectic interface propagator complies with phase matching of the incident and reflected/transmitted ray field, and is therefore in accordance with the earlier derived 4 × 4 matrix in ray-centred coordinates. The symplectic property is related to the symmetry of the second derivative matrix of the reflected/transmitted traveltime field. Thanks to the analytic expression of the symplectic interface propagator, relating interface curvature directly to second derivatives of traveltimes observed at a datum level, numerous applications are available in the area of processing and inversion.  相似文献

Numerical examples of high-frequency synthetic seismograms of body waves in a 2-D layered medium with complex interfaces (faults, wedges, curvilinear, corrugated) are presented. The wave field modeling algorithm combines the possibilities of the ray method and the edge wave superposition method. This approach preserves all advantages of the ray method and eliminates restrictions related to diffraction by boundary edges and to caustic effects in singular regions. The method does not require two-point ray tracing (source-to-receiver), and the position of the source, as well as the type of source, and the position of receivers can be chosen arbitrarily. The memory and the time required for synthetic seismogram computation are similar to ray synthetic seismograms. The computation of the volume of the medium (the Fresnel volume or Fresnel zones), which gives the essential contribution to the wave field, is included in the modeling program package. In the case of complicated irregular interface (or a layered medium with a regular ray field at the last interface), the method displays a high accuracy of wave field computation. Otherwise, the method can be considered a modification of the ray method with regularization by the superposition of edge waves.  相似文献

对于微地震正演模拟,本文以射线追踪的原理为基础,对两点间的射线追踪问题进行了研究,应用二分算法、改进二分算法和微变网格算法对水平层状匀速模型、弯曲层状匀速模型和复杂地质模型进行射线追踪,使得计算效率和适用范围都得到了很大的改善.文中对每种算法误差范围和计算效率进行了对比验证,对于不同的地质模型,选用合适的算法才能在计算速度和精度上得到双重保证,最后正演模拟了多波三分量记录.在模型建立上引入了超薄层概念,并在前人模拟的直达波、透射波、反射波基础上拟了折射波,使正演模拟的多波场信息更丰富.文中的应用实例及模型结果表明:与二分法相比,改进二分法能够对弯曲界面进行射线追踪,并能保证结果的精度.弯曲层状模型中,改进二分法与微变网格法相比计算速度有显著提高,能够应用到资料的反演中.  相似文献

利用有限元法和最小走时射线追踪的界面点法,实现了各向异性弹性波的叠前逆时偏移.理论模型资料的偏移结果清晰准确,证实了该系统的可靠性.通过对各向异性模型资料的各向同性偏移处理,发现常规偏移剖面存在较大误差,地质体的垂向深度和横向位置与实际模型有偏离.  相似文献

在研究地壳结构的人工源宽角反射地震资料解释中,常规宽角反射波走时和射线路径计算大都假定地壳模型为层状块状均匀介质.为了逼近实际地壳结构模型,要求模型尺度较大,为了提高地震资料解释的可靠性,须减小模型离散单元的尺寸,但同时计算量大大增加,使资料解释的效率较低.为此,本文尝试同时提高宽角反射地震资料解释效率和可靠性的方法,即使用双重网格计算宽角反射地震波走时和射线路径的最小走时树方法.双重网格法在均匀介质内部仅计算大网格节点,在速度变化点、震源点和检波点区域,同时计算小网格节点;在界面边界点使用比介质内部节点更大的子波传播区域.模型计算结果表明,对于大尺度的层状块状均匀介质模型,在保证精度的条件下,本文所提出的双重网格射线追踪方法的计算效率比单网格方法显著提高.  相似文献

It is known that the reflection and transmission coefficients used in the zeroth order approximation of asymptotic ray theory (ART) are identical to those obtained for the plane wave impinging on a plane interface separating two perfectly elastic half-spaces. We have used ART to compute reflection and transmission coefficients for two viscoelastic media separated by a plane interface. Our method is different from the plane-wave approach because the ART approach requires only a local application of the boundary conditions both for the eikonal and the ray amplitudes. Several types of viscoelastic media were studied. For a given model, the elastic case was emulated by setting all the quality factors Q equal to each other. Several anelastic cases were computed by keeping the same velocities and densities while changing the Qs. The quality factor is a relatively difficult parameter to measure exactly. Hence elastic coefficients are used in most synthetic seismogram computations, and the quality factors are chosen from experimental measurements or simply estimated. From these computations, amplitude and phase differences between elastic coefficients and coefficients for dissipative media are observed in some cases. These differences show the importance of knowing the exact values of Q. Incorrect Q values can lead to unrealistic moduli and to noticeable phase differences of these viscoelastic coefficients.  相似文献

For a 3D velocity model of curved first order interfaces and layer velocities which are arbitrary smooth functions of the space coordinates, the normal moveout (NMO)-velocity can be computed by numerically integrating a system of first order ordinary differential equations for a hypothetical wavefront that originates at the normal incidence point of the normal ray and moves up along the ray to the common mid-point of the common datum point (CDP) profile.  相似文献

Dynamic ray tracing plays an important role in paraxial ray methods. In this paper, dynamic ray tracing systems for inhomogeneous anisotropic media, consisting of four linear ordinary differential equations of the first order along the reference ray, are studied. The main attention is devoted to systems expressed in a particularly simple choice of ray-centered coordinates, here referred to as the standard ray-centered coordinates, and in wavefront orthonormal coordinates. These two systems, known from the literature, were derived independently and were given in different forms. In this paper it is proved that both systems are fully equivalent. Consequently, the dynamic ray tracing system, consisting of four equations in wavefront orthonormal coordinates, can also be used if we work in ray-centered coordinates, and vice versa. vcerveny@seis.karlov.mff.cuni.cz  相似文献

采用新近提出的多次波射线追踪正演算法,结合共轭梯度法求解带约束的阻尼最小二乘最优化反演问题,分析讨论了利用多震相走时资料进行联合反演成像的方法及技术.考虑到不同震相走时的拾取误差不同,反演算法中引入了不同震相种类数据的权系数; 由于同时反演速度模型和反射界面起伏中不同模型参数变化对走时影响程度的不同, Jacobi偏导矩阵元素中引入了不同参数的归一化因子; 另外,为了克服射线密度过大(或过小)区域速度模型的过度(或欠)更新问题,反演算法中引入了等权射线密度的概念.几种数值模拟实例表明(含噪声敏感性试验): 多波走时的联合或同时反演成像技术是一种提高走时成像空间分辨率,进而降低重建模型失真度行之有效的方法.  相似文献

开鲁陆家堡凹陷内断裂发育、构造复杂,垂直于构造走向跨度30km,凹陷边缘和凹陷内古生界基底顶板埋深分别为1km和5km,在此开展了基底折射波地震勘探。在已知资料基础上,我们用多段倾斜单界面折射波正演理论计算作指导,设计了野外试验和初步的生产观测系统,t_0和差异时距曲线解释方法对于应用于如此复杂的构造地区其准确性和精度受到了限制。因此,我们在解释方法上试做了如下工作:①多段倾斜单界面折射波理论正演走时拟合,给出较有益的反演解释结果;②二维非均匀介质中射线追踪解释方法,提供准确的射线途径给出基底面上下详尽的更为符合实际的二维速度分布信息。  相似文献

In the case of 3D multilayered structures the 2D interval velocity analysis may be inaccurate. This fact is illustrated by synthetic examples. The method proposed solves the 3D inverse problem within the scope of the ray approach. The solution, i.e. the interval velocities and the reflection interface position, is obtained using data from conventional 2D line profiles arbitrarily located and from normal incidence time maps. Although the input information is essentially limited, the method presented reveals only minor biased velocity estimates. In order to implement the proposed 3D inversion method, we developed a processing procedure. The procedure performs the evaluation of reflection time and ray parameters along line profiles, 3D interval velocity estimation, and time-to-depth map migration. Tools to stabilize the 3D inversion are investigated. The application of the 3D inversion technique to synthetic and real data is compared with results of the 2D inversion.  相似文献

Paraxial ray methods for anisotropic inhomogeneous media   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A new formalism of surface-to-surface paraxial matrices allows a very general and flexible formulation of the paraxial ray theory, equally valid in anisotropic and isotropic inhomogeneous layered media. The formalism is based on conventional dynamic ray tracing in Cartesian coordinates along a reference ray. At any user-selected pair of points of the reference ray, a pair of surfaces may be defined. These surfaces may be arbitrarily curved and oriented, and may represent structural interfaces, data recording surfaces, or merely formal surfaces. A newly obtained factorization of the interface propagator matrix allows to transform the conventional 6 × 6 propagator matrix in Cartesian coordinates into a 6 × 6 surface-to-surface paraxial matrix. This matrix defines the transformation of paraxial ray quantities from one surface to another. The redundant non-eikonal and ray-tangent solutions of the dynamic ray-tracing system in Cartesian coordinates can be easily eliminated from the 6 × 6 surface-to-surface paraxial matrix, and it can be reduced to 4 × 4 form. Both the 6 × 6 and 4 × 4 surface-to-surface paraxial matrices satisfy useful properties, particularly the symplecticity. In their 4 × 4 reduced form, they can be used to solve important boundary-value problems of a four-parametric system of paraxial rays, connecting the two surfaces, similarly as the well-known surface-to-surface matrices in isotropic media in ray-centred coordinates. Applications of such boundary-value problems include the two-point eikonal, relative geometrical spreading, Fresnel zones, the design of migration operators, and more.  相似文献

The principles for ray-tracing and wavefront curvature calculations in a three-dimensional medium are reviewed. A new derivation of the transformation of the wavefront curvature matrix at an interface between two inhomogeneous media is given. The derivation is based on a Taylor series expansion of the ray refraction equation at the interface between two inhomogeneous media, and only elementary geometric arguments are used. The wave-front curvature transformation at the interface is obtained by neglecting all terms in the direction of the surface normal. With proper definition of the variables, the derivation is also valid for a reflected wave-front. A simplified transformation rule is derived for a reflected wave of the same type as the incident wave.  相似文献

界面二次源法是最近提出的一种最小走时射线追踪方法,尤其适合层状介质中走时和射线路径的计算.该方法相对于传统的最小走时树方法(如Moser法),仅在物性界面上设置二次源,射线路径的方向只在层界面处发生改变,该方法最大程度地消除了射线路径的锯齿状现象,同时也避免了低变速区的射线路径多值现象,因此,它具有更高的追踪精度和效率.本文采用界面二次源法在各向同性介质中实现了PS转换波射线追踪,理论模型的计算证实了界面二次源法追踪PS转换波的准确性和高效性,同时该方法在各向异性介质中也很好地追踪出分离的PSV波和PSH波,因此该方法有利于横波分裂在地震勘探中的研究和应用  相似文献

The existence of‘*-waves’has, in recent years, prompted a renewed interest in these non-geometrical arrivals, which are generated by point sources located adajcent to plane interfaces. It has led to the re-evaluation of seismic data aquisition techniques and to the question of how to use this real phenomena in enhancing existing seismic interpretation methods. This paper considers a non-geometrical SH-arrival which is generated by a point torque source unrealistically buried within a half-space. The method of solution is essentially the same as presented in an earlier paper, with the modification that the limitation placed on the distance of the source from the interface has been removed in the saddle point method used to obtain a high-frequency approximate solution. In the earlier paper, a preliminary assumption forced the saddle point, which corresponded to the *-wave arrival, to be real when it is generally complex. However, for offsets removed from the distinct ray, the imaginary part of this complex quantity is negligible. A problem which arose when comparing exact synthetic traces with those obtained using zero-order saddle point methods, was the inability to match either the amplitude or phase of the geometrical arrival in the range of offsets when the *-wave and this corresponding geometrical ray were well separated. For this range of offsets the geometrical arrival was approaching grazing incidence and another term in the saddle point expansion of the integral was necessary to rectify this error. This method is also being used to validate the results for higher order terms obtained using asymptotic ray theory. Analytical formulae are given for both the *-wave and the higher order expansion of the geometrical event, together with a comparison of synthetic seismograms using the method developed here and a numerical integration algorithm.  相似文献

本文基于Snell定律和Fermat原理对三维任意界面情况下的两点间射线追踪问题进行了研究,从同一条射线满足相同的射线参数出发,推得一个适用于任意界面情况下计算反(折)射点的一阶近似公式。结合迭代技术,给出了三维场地条件下射线追踪迭代算法的计算格式,并进行了三维场地射线追踪模拟计算。计算表明:计算速度相当快,且其计算精度可以根据需要满足要求。  相似文献
