The structure of the cosmic microwave background temperature is studied in the context of a Bianchi type-V tilted cosmological model. First integrals of the equations for the null geodesics are found by use of the symmetries of the model, enabling the celestial temperature distribution to be found. The quadrupole and dipole moments are calculated for some models, suggesting that the observed anisotropy in the cosmic microwave background can be understood in the context of a Bianchi type-V model of the Universe. The apparent magnitude-redshift relations are also calculated for these models.  相似文献

Dynamical and kinematic properties of Bianchi-II cosmological models with rotation and expansion are investigated. Exact solutions of Einstein field equations are obtained which describe the evolution of a rotating Universe. Exact solutions of null, timelike and spacelike geodesics are constructed. A class of non-vacuum expanding cosmological solutions of Wesson's 5D theory of gravity with variable rest mass is derived. The models are spatially homogeneous and isotropic and the source of gravitation is a pressureless fluid (dust) plus a cosmological constant term. The general and unified solution is found for the equations and some properties of different limiting cases are studied. Particularly, it is shown that for null cosmological constant the predicted age of the universe is smaller than the ones of the 4D FRW models.  相似文献

Also obtained Bianchi type-V cosmological models in a scalar-tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Saez and Ballester (1986) in case of perfect fluid distribution using and without using negative constant deceleration parameter. Totally anisotropic Bianchi type-II cosmological solutions are presented in Barber's second self-creation theory of gravitation both in vacuum and in the presence of stiff-matter. The corresponding cosmological models have no finite singularity. The stiff-matter model gives essentially an empty universe for large time. In this paper, we have investigated spatially homogeneous isotropic Friedmann cosmological model with bulk viscosity and zero-mass scalar field in Lyra manifold. The cosmological models are obtained with the help of the special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter proposed by Bermann (Nuovo Cimento 74B:182, 1983) and power law relation. The Noether symmetry approach is useful tool to restrict the arbitrariness in a gravity theory when the equations of motion are underdetermined due to the high number of functions to be determined in the ansatz. We consider two scalar-coupled theories of gravity, one motivated by induced gravity, the other more standard; in Bianchi I, Bianchi III and Kantowski–Sachs cosmological models. For these models, we present a full set of Noether gauge symmetries, which are more general than those obtained by the strict Noether symmetry approach in our recent work. Some exact solutions are derived using the first integrals corresponding to the obtained Noether gauge symmetries.  相似文献

We discuss the use of selected characteristics of the burster population (e.g. the distribution of peak fluxes, or durations) to derive the GRB distance scale within the framework of cosmological models. The effects of the cosmological expansion on GRBs are briefly noted and it is shown that intrinsic GRB properties may strongly complicate the search for (and the interpretation of) purely cosmological effects. In this context, bright GRBs provide a sample of reference; they are almost free of cosmological influences and they have been studied for a long time. We also emphasize the need for a GRB distance indicator which could be used for individual events; several recent studies suggest that such a quantity may exist.  相似文献

The newest developments in the investigation of redshift quantization and variability are summarized and several approaches to cosmological models consistent with aspects of the data are discussed. The periodicities present when redshifts are referred to the Cosmic Background Radiation rest frame appear to be very precisely described by a series of period-doubling sequences based upon the ninth-root of 2 times the speed of light. Several examples of redshift quantization and variability are discussed to illustrate the periods, the CBR association and the dependence upon galaxy properties. Possible cosmological models involving properties of time, including a form of three-dimensional time and possible time networks, are introduced. Such models appear to have the potential to admit quantized and variable redshifts while remaining consistent with local continuous physical theory.  相似文献
