本文分析了安徽潜山双河大理岩的岩石化学成分、微量元素和稀土元素,并通过锆石"CL"图像,确定变质锆石和变质复合锆石测点位置。定年结果:①变质复合锆石中老核"继承锆石",共测定32个点,年龄范围在2357~342Ma:属于元古宙的15个,年龄范围在2357~572Ma,古生代17个,年龄范围在524~342Ma;②变质锆石共测定8个点,其中5个点年龄范围在249~234Ma,相当超高压变质时间,年龄范围在228~221Ma,即退变质时间。前述大量古生代的岩浆碎屑锆石(继承锆石)的存在,表明双河大理岩的原岩泥灰岩,时代不会早于古生代。  相似文献

Phase equilibrium experiments on a compositionally modified olivine leucitite from the Tibetan plateau have been carried out from 2.2 to 2.8 GPa and 1,380–1,480 °C. The experiments-produced liquids multiply saturated with spinel and garnet lherzolite phase assemblages (olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene and spinel ± garnet) under nominally anhydrous conditions. These SiO2-undersaturated liquids and published experimental data are utilized to develop a predictive model for garnet lherzolite melting of compositionally variable mantle under anhydrous conditions over the pressure range of 1.9–6 GPa. The model estimates the major element compositions of garnet-saturated melts for a range of mantle lherzolite compositions and predicts the conditions of the spinel to garnet lherzolite phase transition for natural peridotite compositions at above-solidus temperatures and pressures. We compare our predicted garnet lherzolite melts to those of pyroxenite and carbonated lherzolite and develop criteria for distinguishing among melts of these different source types. We also use the model in conjunction with a published predictive model for plagioclase and spinel lherzolite to characterize the differences in major element composition for melts in the plagioclase, spinel and garnet facies and develop tests to distinguish between melts of these three lherzolite facies based on major elements. The model is applied to understand the source materials and conditions of melting for high-K lavas erupted in the Tibetan plateau, basanite–nephelinite lavas erupted early in the evolution of Kilauea volcano, Hawaii, as well as younger tholeiitic to alkali lavas from Kilauea.  相似文献

Thirty five minor and trace elements (Li, Be, B, Sc, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, As, Rb, Nb, Mo, Ag, Cd, In, Sn, Sb, Cs, Ba, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Tb, Ho, Tm, Lu, Hf, Ta, W, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th and U) in experimentally produced near-liquidus phases, from a primitive nelpheline basanite from Bow Hill in Tasmania (Australia), were analysed by LAM ICP-MS. A number of halogens (F, Cl and I) were also analysed by electron microprobe. The analyses were used to determine mineral/melt partition coefficients for mica, amphibole, garnet, clinopyroxene, orthopyroxene and olivine for conditions close to multiple saturation of the basanite liquidus with garnet lherzolite (approximately 2.6 GPa and 1,200°C with 7.5 wt% of added H2O). A broader range of conditions was also investigated from 1.0 GPa and 1,025°C to 3.5 GPa and 1,190°C with 5–10 wt% of added H2O. The scope and comprehensiveness of the data allow them to be used for two purposes, these include the following: an investigation of some of the controlling influences on partition coefficients; and the compilation of a set partition coefficients that are directly relevant to the formation of the Bow Hill basanite magma by partial melting of mantle peridotite. Considering clinopyroxene, the mineral phase for which the most data were obtained, systematic correlations were found between pressure and temperature, mineral composition, cation radius and valence, and ΔG coulb (the coulombic potential energy produced by substituting a cation of mismatched valence into a crystallographic site). ΔG coulb is distinctly different for different crystallographic sites, including the M2 and M1 sites in clinopyroxene. These differences can be modelled as a function of variations in optimum valence (expressed as 1 sigma standard deviations) within individual M1 and M2 site populations.  相似文献

The results of the geological characterization of an old stone building in southern Italy, are presented here. The Mondragone marble is a slightly metamorphosed carbonate rock, which was widely employed as monumental stone in the 18th century Royal Palaces of Naples and Caserta. In this paper, for the first time, this rock has been investigated with a thorough laboratory testing program, aimed at defining its mineralogical, physical and mechanical parameters. The two most important varieties of Mondragone marble were separately tested: the yellow and grey marbles (hereafter, YM and GM, respectively). The results obtained from physical tests (open porosity, dry density, specific gravity, water absorption coefficients, ultrasonic velocity) did not show marked differences between the two materials; in contrast, the mechanical strength tests (uniaxial compressive strength, point load strength, flexural strength) showed better behaviour of YM than for GM. After a tentative comparison with other well known carbonate rocks from Italy, some considerations on the response of Mondragone marble to local weathering were conducted. In particular, the weathering typologies were related to the particular texture of the brecciated marble and the different strength resistances displayed by the various constituents of the rock.  相似文献

The kinetics of lherzolite dissolution in an alkali basalt and a basaltic andesite was examined experimentally at 1,300°C and 1 GPa using the dissolution couple method. Dissolution of lherzolite in basaltic liquids produces either the melt-bearing dunite–harzburgite–lherzolite (DHL) sequence or the melt-bearing harzburgite–lherzolite sequence depending on whether the reacting melt is or close to olivine saturation (alkali basalt) or olivine + orthopyroxene saturation (basaltic andesite). The dunite in the DHL sequence is pyroxene-free and the harzburgites in both sequences are clinopyroxene-free. The melt fraction and olivine grain size in the dunite are larger than those in the harzburgite. The olivine grain size in the dunite and harzburgite in the DHL sequence also increases as a function experimental run time. Across the sharp dunite–harzburgite and harzburgite–lherzolite interfaces, systematic compositional variations are observed in the reacting melt, interstitial melt, olivine, and to a lesser extent, pyroxenes as functions of distance and time. The systematic variations in lithology, grain size, mineral chemistry, and melt compositions are broadly similar to those observed in the mantle sections of ophiolites. The processes of lherzolite dissolution in basaltic liquids involve dissolution, precipitation, reprecipitation, and diffusive transport in the interstitial melts and surrounding minerals. Preferential dissolution of olivine and clinopyroxene and precipitation of orthopyroxene in the basaltic andesite produces the melt-bearing harzburgite–lherzolite sequence. Preferential dissolution of clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene and precipitation of olivine results in the melt-bearing DHL sequence. Preferential mineral dissolution can also affect the composition of the through-going melt in a dunite channel or harzburgite matrix. Systematic variations in melt fraction and mineral grain size in the peridotite sequences are likely to play an important role in the development of channelized or diffuse porous melt flow in the mantle.An erratum to this article can be found at  相似文献

本文利用2000~2016年陕西省已经造成人员伤亡和财产损失的地质灾害灾情资料,分析研究了近十七年陕西省地质灾害时空分布规律及变化趋势。结果表明:(1)时间上,年内地质灾害主要发生在5~10月,而7~9月是重灾期,非汛期地质灾害数量占比呈明显增高态势,由2013年以前的不足10.00%上升至2015年的39.47%、2016年的26.67%;年际上每3~5年会发生一次特大型地质灾害;“十二五”期间,地质灾害的发生数量、死亡失踪人数、直接经济损失总体上呈明显下降趋势。(2)空间上,陕南地区的地质灾害数量最多,但近年来陕北地区的地质灾害数量明显增多,呈现出由陕南向陕北逐渐扩展的趋势,2013年和2016年地质灾害数量占比由2003年的最低值0.25%分别上升至87.54%和46.67%,远远高于同年陕南地区。(3)引发因素上,由单一的自然因素向多因素交织转变,因人为活动引发的地质灾害数量呈现上升趋势。  相似文献

Three calcitic marble types often used as cladding material and different in lattice preferred orientation (texture), grain shape preferred orientation, grain size distribution and grain interlocking are investigated to study the combined effect of thermal cycles (day-night) and moisture on the decay of marble, particularly on the bowing phenomenon. Repetitive heating-cooling under dry conditions leads to considerable inelastic residual strain only in the first thermal cycle. The residual strain continuously increases again if water is present, whereby the moisture content after a thermal cycle has a certain impact on the decay rate. The water-enhanced thermal dilatation strongly correlates with the deterioration rate obtained from the laboratory bow test. All applied approaches reveal that the texture in combination with the grain shape preferred orientation control the intensity and anisotropy of marble deterioration, thus, the cutting direction of facade panels has to be considered in terms of durability. On-site analysis from building facades confirm the laboratory results such as the bowing tendency of different marbles, directional dependence, relevance of moisture content during cyclical heating and the loss of strength due to environmental impact.Special Issue: Stone decay hazards  相似文献

Multidisciplinary studies of geotransects across the North European Plain and Southern North Sea, and geological reexamination of the Variscides of the North Bohemian Massif, permit a new 3-D reassessment of the relationships between the principal crustal blocks abutting Baltica along the Trans-European Suture Zone (TESZ). Accretion was in three stages: Cambrian accretion of the Bruno–Silesian, Lysogory and Malopolska terranes; end-Ordovician/early Silurian accretion of Avalonia; and early Carboniferous accretion of the Armorican Terrane Assemblage (ATA). Palaeozoic plume-influenced metabasite geochemistry in the Bohemian Massif explains the progressive rifting away of peri-Gondwanan crustal blocks before their accretion to Baltica. Geophysical data, faunal and provenance information from boreholes, and dated small inliers and cores confirm that Avalonian crust extends beyond the Anglo-Brabant Deformation Belt eastwards to northwest Poland. The location and dip of reflectors along the TESZ and beneath the North European Plain suggest that Avalonian crust overrode the Baltica passive margin, marked by a high-velocity lower crustal layer, on shallowly southwest-dipping thrust planes forming the Heligoland–Pomerania Deformation Belt. The “Variscan orocline” of southwest Poland masks two junctions between the Armorican Terrane Assemblage (ATA) and previously accreted crustal blocks. To the east is a dextrally transpressive contact with the Bruno–Silesian and Malopolska blocks, accreted in the Cambrian, while to the north is a thrust contact with easternmost Avalonia, deeply buried beneath younger sedimentary cover. In the northeast Bohemian and Rhenohercynian Massifs Devonian “early Variscide” deformation dominated by WNW and NW-directed thrusting, records closure of Ordovician–Devonian seaways between detached “islands” of the ATA and Avalonia.  相似文献

通过地层对比、锆石LA--ICP--MS U--Pb定年及岩石地球化学研究限定胶—辽—吉活动带北东段辽东半岛盖州市梁屯地区一套碳酸盐岩建造的原岩形成时代、物质来源和地层归属等。其炭质方解大理岩锆石阴极发光(CL)图像显示碎屑锆石核部大都具有振荡环带,且其Th/U比值较高(Th/U=0. 15~2. 04),表明其为岩浆来源成因。锆石U--Pb年代学定年结果显示存在两个主要的年龄峰值,主要年龄峰值为新太古代晚期(2 560~2 500 Ma),次要峰值为古元古代中晚期(2 040~2 000 Ma),其沉积时限应晚于2. 0 Ga,与古元古代辽河岩群沉积时代一致。此外,该年龄与区域上的太古代基底和大量出露的辽吉花岗岩的年龄相一致,表明炭质方解大理岩物质来源于太古代基底和辽吉花岗岩。并通过岩相学、岩石地球化学、年代学和区域对比等研究,确认梁屯地区分布的这套富含炭质的大理岩建造(原岩为沉积石灰岩)可与辽河群高家峪岩组对比,而非前人认为的大石桥岩组。  相似文献

In this study the effect of the temperature increase on the hydro-mechanical properties of sheared Boom clay samples is investigated. Two samples of Boom clay are resaturated in a new hollow cylinder triaxial cell with a short drainage path and then sheared by performing an axisymmetric triaxial loading. The effect of the undrained heating under deviatoric stress is studied on the first sample. It is shown that undrained temperature increase leads to an increase of pore water pressure and consequently to a decrease of the effective mean stress which brings the sample to failure. For an initially sheared sample, the failure occurs along the existing shear band which behaves as a weakness plane in the sample. The responses of the local strain measurement transducers clearly show the sliding of rigid blocks when failure occurs in the sample.The effect of the presence of a shear band on the permeability of the other Boom clay sample is investigated at ambient temperature and at 80 °C. It is shown that the presence of a shear band does not affect significantly the permeability. These results confirm the good self sealing properties of Boom clay at ambient and at high temperature.  相似文献

Porphyroclastic enstatite in a garnet lherzolite xenolith from the Monastery Mine kimberlite, South Africa, has exsolved pyrope garnet, Cr-diopside and Al-chromite, and the specimen is interpreted as representing a transition from fertile harzburgite, (containing high Ca-Al-Cr enstatite) to granular garnet lherzolite. Although the exsolved phases occur in morphologically different forms (fine and coarse lamellae; equant, ripened grains), indicating textural disequilibrium, the exsolved grains are very constant in composition, indicating chemical equilibrium. Theoretically, the exsolution could have been due to a fall in temperature, but the close association of exsolution and deformation of the host enstatite suggests that exsolution was also aided by straining of the enstatite lattice. The phase compositions can be broadly matched with those in other mantle peridotites, except that all phases are characterised by a virtual absence of Ti. In the garnet and diopside Ti, Co, Zr and most of the REE are lower than in published analyses of garnet and diopside in both granular and sheared garnet lherzolites from Southern African kimberlites, and diopside/garnet partitioning for Sr and the REE is higher. Comparison with the trace element chemistry of an enstatite from a fertile harzburgite indicates that, except for Nb, the trace element content and distribution found in the Monastery phases could arise by isochemical exsolution from such an enstatite. On the assumption that (a) the Monastery specimen represents a transition from harzburgite to garnet lherzolite, and (b) many garnet lherzolites are of exsolution origin (as suggested by their modal compositions), the inference is that most garnet lherzolites, and not just the sheared variety, have been subject to varying degrees of Ti, Zr, Sr and REE metasomatism.  相似文献

Garnets from phlogopite harzburgite xenoliths from the Wesselton kimberlite show zoning from low-Ca harzburgitic cores to rims with lherzolitic Ca-Cr relations. Garnet cores are depleted in Y and HREE, but have sinuous REE patterns enriched in the MREE. Rimwards increase in Ca and decrease in Cr and Mg is accompanied by increases in Zr, Y, Ti and HREE. Secondary replacement rims on some garnets consist of garnet with low Ca and Cr, but high Mg, Ti and HREE. The zoning, and the secondary replacement rims, are attributed to different stages of a metasomatic process that has converted harzburgite to lherzolite, at temperatures near 1000 °C. Modelling of zoning profiles suggests that the process can be divided into three parts: (a) Inwards diffusion of Ca, Zr and Y over periods of 10,000–30,000 years, from a fluid depleted in Ti, Ga and Y; (b) formation of overgrowths high in Ca, Zr, Y and Ti, followed by annealing over periods of several thousand years; (c) formation of secondary reaction rims of low-Ca garnet, on very short timescales prior to eruption. The sinuous REE patterns of the garnet cores are regarded as “primary” features reflecting an ancient metasomatic event superimposed on a depleted protolith. The high Zr/Y, Zr/Ti and Zr/Ca of the fluids corresponding to stage (a) are ascribed to the presence of phlogopite and garnet in the matrix near the fluid source (presumed to be a melt, possibly a kimberlite precursor), leading to the development of concentration fronts in the percolating fluid. The overgrowths of stage (b) appear to coincide with the precipitation of phlogopite in the rock. The low Ca of the fluid responsible for the secondary replacement rims of stage (c) may reflect the late precipitation of clinopyroxene or Ca-carbonate as part of the metasomatic assemblage. These processes have significantly modified the modal, major- and trace-element composition of the mantle volume sampled by the Wesselton kimberlite, within <1 Ma of eruption. Recognition of such effects and their distribution in time and space is essential to understanding of the evolution of the subcontinental lithospheric mantle. 分形几何是20世纪70年代以来发展起来的研究非线性现象的理论和方法,这一理论的诞生为揭示隐藏于混乱复杂现象的精细结构和定量地描述它们提供了理论基础。将分形的方法引入到隧道的超前地质预报,通过岩体结构面网络的分维值来预测岩体的质量。结合工程实例可以看出,岩体结构具有良好的分形特征,其分形描述可作为评价结构岩体质量的标准之一。分形方法是评价岩体性质的一个有效的方法,具有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

The behaviour of subaerial particle-laden gravity currents (e.g. pyroclastic flows, lahars, debris flows, sediment-bearing floods and jökulhlaups) flowing into the sea has been simulated with analogue experiments. Flows of either saline solution, simple suspensions of silicon carbide (SiC) in water or complex suspensions of SiC and plastic particles in methanol were released down a slope into a tank of water. The excess momentum between subaerial and subaqueous flow is dissipated by a surface wave. At relatively low density contrasts between the tank water and the saline or simple suspensions, the flow mixture enters the water and forms a turbulent cloud involving extensive entrainment of water. The cloud then collapses gravitationally to form an underwater gravity current, which progresses along the tank floor. At higher density contrasts, the subaerial flow develops directly into a subaqueous flow. The flow slows and thickens in response to the reduced density contrast, which is driving motion, and then continues in the typical gravity current manner. Complex suspensions become dense flows along the tank floor or buoyant flows along the water surface, if the mixtures are sufficiently denser or lighter than water respectively. Flows of initially intermediate density are strongly influenced by the internal stratification of the subaerial flow. Material from the particulate-depleted upper sections of the subaerial flow becomes a buoyant gravity current along the water surface, whereas material from the particulate-enriched lower sections forms a dense flow along the tank floor. Sedimentation from the dense flow results in a reduction in bulk density until the mixture attains buoyancy, lifts off and becomes a secondary buoyant flow along the water surface. Jökulhlaups, lahars and debris flows are typically much denser than seawater and, thus, will usually form dense flows along the seabed. After sufficient sedimentation, the freshwater particulate mixture can lift off to form a buoyant flow at the sea surface, leading to a decoupling of the fine and coarse particles. Flood waters with low particulate concentrations (<2%) may form buoyant flows immediately upon entering the ocean. Subaerial pyroclastic flows develop a pronounced internal stratification during subaerial run-out and, thus, a flow-splitting behaviour is probable, which agrees with evidence for sea surface and underwater flows from historic eruptions of Krakatau and Mont Pelée. A pyroclastic flow with a bulk density closer to that of sea water may form a turbulent cloud, resulting in the deposition of much of the pyroclasts close to the shore. Dense subaqueous pyroclastic flows will eventually lift off and form secondary buoyant flows, either before or after the transformation to a water-supported nature.  相似文献

Different published geothermometric methods have been tested on a large suite of garnet lherzolite nodules from the kimberlites of Northern Lesotho. Comparison of the various calculated equilibration temperature estimates indicates that several of these methods yield unreliable results and should therefore be rejected. However, there is little to choose between the values obtained from five other methods based on three different element exchange reactions. Accordingly we conclude that the petrogenesis of garnet lherzolite nodules is best discussed with reference to the mean temperature estimates derived from these five preferred methods. The late Cretaceous palaeogeotherm for Northern Lesotho is revised on this basis and found to be of a similar form to previous estimates but is significantly displaced to higher temperatures.  相似文献
