In this work, we select spectra of stars with high signal-to-noise ratio from LAMOST data and map their MK classes to the spectral features. The equivalent widths of prominent spectral lines, which play a similar role as multi-color photometry, form a clean stellar locus well ordered by MK classes. The advantage of the stellar locus in line indices is that it gives a natural and continuous classification of stars consistent with either broadly used MK classes or stellar astrophysical parameters. We also employ an SVM-based classification algorithm to assign MK classes to LAMOST stellar spectra. We find that the completenesses of the classifications are up to 90% for A and G type stars, but they are down to about 50% for OB and K type stars. About 40% of the OB and K type stars are mis-classified as A and G type stars,respectively. This is likely due to the difference in the spectral features between late B type and early A type stars or between late G and early K type stars being very weak. The relatively poor performance of the automatic MK classification with SVM suggests that the direct use of line indices to classify stars is likely a more preferable choice.  相似文献

LAMOST Data Release 5,covering~17 000 deg~2from-10?to 80?in declination,contains 9million co-added low-resolution spectra of celestial objects,each spectrum combined from repeat exposure of two to tens of times during Oct 2011 to Jun 2017.In this paper,we present the spectra of individual exposures for all the objects in LAMOST Data Release 5.For each spectrum,the equivalent width of 60lines from 11 different elements are calculated with a new method combining the actual line core and fitted line wings.For stars earlier than F type,the Balmer lines are fitted with both emission and absorption profiles once two components are detected.Radial velocity of each individual exposure is measured by minimizingχ~2between the spectrum and its best template.The database for equivalent widths of spectral lines and radial velocities of individual spectra are available online.Radial velocity uncertainties with different stellar type and signal-to-noise ratio are quantified by comparing different exposure of the same objects.We notice that the radial velocity uncertainty depends on the time lag between observations.For stars observed in the same day and with signal-to-noise ratio higher than 20,the radial velocity uncertainty is below 5 km s~(-1),and increases to 10 km s~(-1)for stars observed in different nights.  相似文献

We use the Richardson-Lucy deconvolution algorithm to extract one-dimensional(1 D) spectra from Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) spectrum images. Compared with other deconvolution algorithms, this algorithm is much faster. The application on a real LAMOST image illustrates that the 1 D spectrum resulting from this method has a higher signal-to-noise ratio and resolution than those extracted by the LAMOST pipeline. Furthermore, our algorithm can effectively suppress the ringings that are often present in the 1 D resulting spectra generated by other deconvolution methods.  相似文献

Sky subtraction is a key technique in data reduction of multi-fiber spectra. Knowledge of characteristics related to the instrument is necessary to determine the method adopted in sky subtraction.In this study, we describe the sky subtraction method designed for the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) survey. The method has been integrated into the LAMOST 2D Pipeline v2.6 and applied to data from LAMOST DR3 and later. For LAMOST, calibration using sky emission lines is used to alleviate the position-dependent(and thus time-dependent) ~ 4% fiber throughput uncertainty and small wavelength instability(0.1 A) during observation. Sky subtraction using principal component analysis(PCA) further reduces 25% of the sky line residual from OH lines in the red part of LAMOST spectra after the master sky spectrum, which is derived from a B-spline fit of 20 sky fibers in each spectrograph. Using this approach, values are adjusted by a sky emission line and subtracted from each fiber. Further analysis shows that our wavelength calibration accuracy is about 4.5 km s~(-1), and the averages of residuals after sky subtraction are about 3% for sky emission lines and 3% for the continuum region. The relative sky subtraction residuals vary with moonlight background brightness, and can reach as low as 1.5% for regions that have sky emission lines during a dark night.Tests on F stars with both similar sky emission line strength and similar object continuum intensity show that the sky emission line residual of LAMOST is smaller than that of the SDSS survey.  相似文献

The Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) has released more than two million spectra,which provide the opportunity to search for double-peaked narrow emission line(NEL) galaxies and active galactic nuclei(AGNs).The double-peaked narrow-line profiles can be well modeled by two velocity components,respectively blueshifted and redshifted with respect to the systemic recession velocity.This paper presents 20 double-peaked NEL galaxies and AGNs found from LAMOST DR1 using a search method based on a multi-Gaussian fit of the narrow emission lines.Among them,ten have already been published by other authors,either listed as genuine double-peaked NEL objects or as asymmetric NEL objects,and the remaining ten are original discoveries.We discuss some possible origins for the double-peaked narrow-line features,such as interaction between jet and narrow line regions,interaction with companion galaxies,and black hole binaries.Spatially resolved optical imaging and/or follow-up observations in other spectral bands are needed to further discuss the physical mechanisms at work.  相似文献

We present extensive spectroscopic observations of supernova remnant(SNR) S147 collected with the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST). The spectra were carefully sky-subtracted taking into account the complex filamentary structure of S147. We have utilized all available LAMOST spectra toward S147, including sky and stellar spectra. By measuring the prominent optical emission lines including Hα, [NⅡ]λ 6584 and [SⅡ]λλ 6717, 6731, we present maps of radial velocity and line intensity ratio covering the whole nebula of S147 with unprecedented detail. The maps spatially correlate well with the complex filamentary structure of S147. For the central 2?of S147, the radial velocity varies from-100 to 100 km s~(-1) and has peaks between~0 and 10 km s~(-1). The intensity ratios of Hα/[S Ⅱ]λλ 6717, 6731, [SⅡ]λ 6717/λ 6731 and Hα/[NⅡ]λ 6584 peak at about 0.77, 1.35 and 1.48, respectively, with a scatter of 0.17, 0.19 and 0.37, respectively. The intensity ratios are consistent with the literature values. However, the range of variations of line intensity ratios estimated here,which are representative of the whole nebula, is larger than previously estimated.  相似文献

Two Li-rich candidates,TYC 1338-1410-1 and TYC 2825-596-1,were observed by the new high-resolution echelle spectrograph,LAMOST/HRS.Based on their high-resolution and high-signal-tonoise ratio(SNR)spectra,we derived stellar parameters and abundances of 14 important elements for the two candidates.The stellar parameters and lithium abundances indicate that they are Li-rich K-type giants,and having A(Li)NLTE and 2.91 dex,respectively.Our analysis suggests that TYC 1338-1410-1 is probably a red giant branch(RGB)star at the bump stage,while TYC 2825-596-1 is most likely to be a core helium-burning red clump(RC)star.The line profiles of both spectra indicate that the two Li-rich giants are slow rotators and do not show infrared(IR)excess.We conclude that engulfment is not the lithium enrichment mechanism for either star.The enriched lithium of TYC 1338-1410-1 could be created via the Cameron-Fowler mechanism,while the lithium excess in TYC 2825-596-1 could be associated with either non-canonical mixing processes or He-flash.  相似文献

Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fibre Spectroscopic Telescope (L AMOST) is one of the major on-going national large scientific projects in China. Active optics is a key technology for the LAMOST with which the thin-mirror active optics and segmented-mirror active optics are tied in. A pre-calibration method considering all active forces and displacements specially for LAMOST has been developed in early 2004. We give a detailed mathematical derivation and calculation including numerical simulation and computer program realization of the pre-calibration method of LAMOST open-loop control for the third-order as-pherical aberration. We have also carried out calculations on the application of the pre-calibration method and the parameters of actuator design in LAMOST active optics in observation mode, including estimations of the actuator ranges, the interval of active optics correction and the ranges and trends of load changes on all the actuators during LAMOST tracking a given star.  相似文献

In this paper,we present four sets of photometric VRI light curves,and several LAMOST low and medium resolution spectra of contact binary CC Com.We revised the orbital parameters by simultaneously combining with previously published radial velocity measurements using the WilsonDevinney program.We used light curves at different observational times to obtain the starspot parameters.The values of the starspot radius are variable in short-and long-term scales,and their longitudes are stable.We updated the orbital period change of CC Com,and analyzed the periodic variation.The period of CC Com decreases at a rate of 4.66(±0.20)× 10~(-11) d yr~(-1),which may be due to mass transfer from the secondary component to the primary component.The oscillation of its orbital period with a period of17.18(0.08) years and amplitude of 0.0018(1) d may be caused by the light time effect(LITE) via a third body of 0.06 M_☉ dwarf or magnetic activity cycle.Furthermore,we obtained one optical spectrum from the LAMOST survey,which gives the spectral type of CC Com as K7±2 V.Strong emissions exist in the Ha,and Ca 11 HK lines in the observed spectrum,indicating strong chromospheric activity on CC Com.In the 12 LAMOST medium-resolution spectra,the EWs of Ha line are variable along the phase and time,which may be a plage or flare event.  相似文献

The effective temperature of the short period cepheid SU Cas has been determined from a comparison of its spectral scans with appropriate model atmospheres. Using this temperature and an independent Wesselink radius determination, the luminosity of the star has been redetermined. The pulsation mass and the evolutionary mass of the star have been discussed. The evolutionary to pulsation mass ratio comes out to be greater than unity.  相似文献

为了获取LAMOST焦面板上光纤的零位位置,提出了一种基于分离式标准靶标的高精度摄影测量方法。首先,根据Tsai摄像机标定参数模型介绍了CCD相机的标定原理。然后介绍了用光重心算法求取靶标发光点像面坐标及通过球面三角公式计算靶标发光点物面坐标。接着,利用最小二乘法导出了含标定参数的方程组。最后,介绍了标准靶标的放置方法以及提高光纤位置测量精度的靶标取法。实验结果表明:CCD相机的标定残差平均值为8.8μm;标定残差的标准差为5.3μm。测量方法简单易行,通过仔细分析,找出了残差偏大的原因,对后续进一步测量实验有重要指导意义。  相似文献

对LAMOST二维光纤光谱数据处理系统中的抽谱方法进行了阐述,分析了抽谱中关键参数采样点选取对结果的影响,并根据高斯分布函数的特性以及实验情况确定了采样点的选取范围,解决了抽谱结果出现负值的问题.进一步针对大噪声背景下抽谱存在误差较大的问题,提出了基于频域滤波思想的改进抽谱方法.首先利用快速傅立叶变换和低通滤波器将影响光纤实际轮廓的尖锐噪声滤除,然后再进行正常的抽谱.利用LAMOST二维光纤光谱数据处理系统提供的模拟数据进行了实验测试,结果表明改进抽谱方法的可行性与有效性.  相似文献
