Variation in the Flare Frequency of Flare Stars. III. Flare Stars in the Orion Association

The possible variation of the flare frequency of flare stars in the Orion association is considered. It is shown that of the 23 chosen stars, each having exhibited four or more flares, a change in flare frequency at the 0.1 significance level can be suspected for 13.     

Frequency Distribution Function of Stellar Flares for Faint Stars in the Pleiades Cluster

It is shown that to derive the distribution function of the average frequency of stellar flares in a case in which the number of flares observed in an aggregatation is small, a chronology of third flares can be used to confirm the chronology of first flares. A concrete solution for faint stars of the Pleiades cluster is given.     

Reconstruction of the Three-Dimensional Density Distribution of Flare Stars in the Pleiades

This paper deals with the determination of the three-dimensional distribution of flare stars in the Pleiades cluster. For this purpose a one-dimensional distribution is first constructed from the observed two-dimensional distribution of the stars. It is shown that reliable construction of one dimensioned distribution requires solution of the Abel equation. The last one used to determine the dependence of the true three-dimensional distribution of the density of flare stars on distance from the center of the cluster. This reveals a spherical layer of width 0.5 pc (2.8 R 3.5 pc) with a deficit in the number of flare stars. A profile of the three-dimensional density distribution of flare stars is constructed in the region of deficit. The characteristics of this region are described.

Magnetic Activity and Parameters of 43 Flare Stars in the GWAC Archive

In the archive of the Ground Wide Angle Camera(GWAC), we found 43 white light flares from 43 stars, among which, three are sympathetic or homologous flares, and one of them also has a quasi-periodic pulsation with a period of 13.0 ± 1.5 minutes. Among these 43 flare stars, there are 19 new active stars and 41 stars that have available TESS and/or K2 light curves, from which we found 931 stellar flares. 球状星团成员星的空间相关性分析

以球状星团NGC (New General Catalogue) 104、NGC 5139、NGC 6121为实验样区, 选取了视差等10个恒星参数, 通过引入地学中的空间分析理论和相应的分析框架为定量描述球状星团成员星的空间分布特征提出了一种基于地学的研究范式. 通过计算全局和局部莫兰(Moran)指数得到球状星团成员星各恒星参数的空间分布特征. 研究结果表明: 球状星团NGC 104、NGC 5139、NGC 6121成员星的各恒星参数在总体上呈现出空间正相关特性, 表现出空间集聚特征, 但不同恒星参数之间存在差异; 局部空间分布也呈现聚集特征, 而不同的成员星呈现出不同的空间分布特性和趋势. 总体而言, 用地学空间相关分析系统地定量化描述球状星团成员星空间分布特征, 能够为球状星团的研究提供新的思路.

Vertical Chromium Distribution in the Atmospheres of CP Stars. II. Modeling

Vertical chromium distributions in the atmospheres of several Ap and Am stars are fitted using detailed modeling of the profiles of CrII lines. The vertical distributions obtained for Ap stars are consistent with Babel's results of an investigation of Cr lines in the spectrum of the Ap star 53 Cam. It is shown that the observational data cannot be interpreted in terms of the hypothesis that microturbulent velocity varies with depth.
