国道212线甘肃段是甘肃省南北向的主要通道,在甘肃境内全长707km,公路沿线是我国滑坡、泥石流的主要发育区,特别是陇南市的宕昌武都段是我国最主要的滑坡、泥石流灾害区之一。线路通过地区的自然地理条件迥异,造成滑坡、泥石流类型和性质有很大差别。本文分析了该区地形地貌时、时空规律性及其与滑坡、泥石流的关系,为未来的高速公路建设提供理论依据。  相似文献

Mass movements such as landslides in mountainous terrains are natural degradation processes and one of the most important landscape-building factors. Varunawat Parbat overlooking Uttarkashi town witnessed a series of landslides on 23 September 2003 and the debris slides and rock falls continued for 2 weeks. This landslide complex was triggered due to the incessant rainfall prior to the event, and its occurrence led to the blockage of the pilgrim route to Gangotri (source of the Ganges river) and evacuation of thousands of people to safer places. Though there was no loss of lives due to timely evacuation, heavy losses to the property were reported. High-resolution stereoscopic earth observation data were acquired after the incidence to study the landslide in detail with emphasis on the cause of the landslide and mode of failure. Areas along the road and below the Varunawat foothill region are mapped for landslide risk. It was found that the foothill region of the Varunawat Parbat was highly disturbed by man-made activities and houses are dangerously located below steep slopes. The potential zones for landslides along with the existing active and old landslides are mapped. These areas are critical and their treatment with priority is required in order to minimise further landslide occurrences.  相似文献

Pakistan is located at the cross-roads of plate boundaries, experiencing multiple hazards of earthquake, flood, drought, water-logging, salinization and recurrent landslides. This paper examines the causes and environmental impacts of frequently occurring landslide hazards in the Murree area of Pakistan??s Himalayan region. These are wide ranging in nature and in terms of the damage that result. The area under research was divided into eight blocks and randomly data collected. It was observed that landslides mostly occur along the road network and disturbed slopes. Immature geology, a wide variation in climate and degradation of the natural resource-base were found to be some of the causal factors responsible for the landslide hazards. During the past three decades, rapid expansion of urban zones contributed to the changing vulnerability of the area. The analysis revealed that a large majority of the households (75%) in the area have been directly or indirectly affected by landslide hazards. Damages to already scarce agricultural land, infrastructure and other properties are each year a regular and escalating phenomenon. Landslide size, frequency and consequent costs of damage have increased considerably.  相似文献

甘肃天水等城镇和成兰交通廊道位于青藏高原东缘南北活动构造带中段,是中国东西部地质、地貌边界带,断裂活动性强,地震活动频繁。本文在区内地质资料收集分析和野外地质调查的基础上,从活动断裂、浅表层地质灾害、深埋隧道重大工程地质问题等角度,分析了甘肃天水等城镇和成兰交通廊道规划建设过程中可能遇到的工程地质问题,认为:研究区内对成兰铁路和甘肃天水等城镇具有重大影响的活动断裂带主要有15条,并对区域构造应力场具有重要影响,具有强震诱发背景;研究区内地质灾害极为发育,主要包括崩塌、滑坡和泥石流,地质灾害的发育分布受强降雨、地震和活动断裂影响大,并发育一系列古地震滑坡,部分崩塌和滑坡方量大,具有高位、高速远程等特征,已严重制约着城镇、铁路、公路等地面工程建设,危害严重;研究区内深埋长大隧道多且工程地质问题复杂,已经遇到并严重受高地应力、软岩大变形、涌水突泥和高地温等重大工程地质问题的影响,同时还存在活动断裂断错效应对深埋隧道和桥梁等重要工程设施的长期影响。针对上述工程地质问题,深入探讨了其发育分布规律,并提出了调查研究途径和解决办法,对区内重要城镇、重大工程规划建设具有一定的借鉴意义。  相似文献

以陕西省太白县为例,分析了秦岭中部山区地质灾害形成的地质环境条件,重点指出在植被茂密山区,异常强降雨及农耕、建房、修路和矿山开采4种人类工程活动对地质灾害的关键诱发作用。对崩塌、滑坡、泥石流和不稳定斜坡4类典型地质灾害进行了亚类细分和发育特征分析,并总结指出了地质灾害区域宏观分布特征。筛选了9种关键的地质灾害影响和诱发因素,基于将集中调查区指示的地质灾害发育规律,外推应用于全区地质灾害评估的思路,利用信息量模型对太白县全区进行了地质灾害危险性定量评估,结果显示高危险区主要集中分布在县域北部人口聚居的盆地区,以及南部河流与公路沿线地段。定量检验显示,危险性评估结果与地质灾害的实际分布十分吻合,表明基于信息量模型的地质灾害危险性评估方法能够很好地适用于秦岭腹地山区。  相似文献

Landslides are amongst the major disasters that have occurred in Karabük, Turkey. Due to the rapid increase in population movement to new habitats in urban areas, the need for engineering structures will increase. This condition has led to the construction of arts, cultural facilities and housing in insecure regions these days. The excavations to prepare the construction site, the external loads due to heavy structures and the changes in coverage of the earth surface are among the reasons for landslides in such areas. In this study, the landslides that occurred due to unsupported excavation for the construction of Karabük university stadium were analyzed using the three softwares like Plaxis, Geoslope and Slide. The study area is critical in terms of slope problems. Mass movement in the stadium occurred in high plasticity clay units containing sand and silt. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out detailed studies before the construction of engineering structures. The landslide considered in the study were analyzed using finite element (FE) analysis and slice method. These approaches are used for evaluating the stability of natural slope by considering a failure mechanism, which is known as the plastic limit condition. Regarding safety factors calculated using the different numerical solutions confirm that the results obtained are similar. In addition, the landslide area is close to the predicted simulation results.  相似文献

This study considers the impact of landslides on transportation pavements in rural road network of Cyprus using remote sensing and geographical information system (GIS) techniques. Landslides are considered to be one of the most extreme natural hazards worldwide, causing both human losses and severe damages to the transportation network. Risk assessment for monitoring a road network is based on the combination of the probability of landslides occurrence and the extent and severity of the resultant consequences should the disasters (landslides) occur. Factors that can trigger landslide episodes include proximity to active faults, geological formations, fracture zones, degree and high curvature of slopes, water conditions, etc. In this study, the reliability and vulnerability of a rural network are examined. Initially, landslide locations were identified from the interpretation of satellite images. Different geomorphological factors such as aspect, slope, distance from the watershed, lithology, distance from lineaments, topographic curvature, land use and vegetation regime derived from satellite images were selected and incorporated in GIS environment in order to develop a decision support and continuous landslide monitoring system of the area. These parameters were then used in the final landslide hazard assessment model based on the analytic hierarchy process method. The results indicated good correlation between classified high-hazard areas and field-confirmed slope failures. The CA Markov model was also used to predict the landslide hazard zonation map for 2020 and the possible future hazards for transportation pavements. The proposed methodology can be used for areas with similar physiographic conditions all over the Eastern Mediterranean region.  相似文献

Landslides commonly occurs in hilly areas and causes an enormous loss iof life and property every year. National highway-1D (NH-1D) is the only road link between the two districts (Kargil and Leh) of Ladakh region that connects these districts with Kashmir valley. The landslide failure record of the recent past along this sector of the highway is not available. The present study documents landslide susceptible zones and records occurrence of 60 landslides during the last 4 years showing an increasing trend in the occurrence of landslides over these years in this sector. The landslide susceptibility zonation map has been prepared based on the numerical rating of ten major factors viz. slope morphometry, lithology, structure, relative relief, land cover, landuse, rainfall, hydrological conditions, landslide incidences and Slope Erosion, categorised the area in different zones of instability based on the intensity of susceptibility. The landslide susceptibility map of the area encompassing 73.03 km2 is divided into 150 facets. Out of the total of 150 facets, 85 facets fall in low susceptibility zone covering 43.56 km2 which constitute about 59.65% of the total area under investigation with a record of 5 landslides; 40 facets fall in the moderate susceptibility zone covering 16.94km2 which constitutes about 23.19% of the study area with a record of 20 landslides; and 25 facets fall in the high susceptibility zone covering 12.53 km2 which constitute about 17.15% of the study area with a record of 35 landslides. Most of the facets which fall in HSZ are attributed to slope modification for road widening.  相似文献

滑坡灾害持续影响着人民生命财产安全和地区社会经济可持续发展,滑坡危险性评价能够为防灾减灾和区域规划提供有效的理论依据。以福建省南平市为研究区,区内1711个历史滑坡灾害点,选择高程、坡度、坡向、曲率、地质岩性、土壤类型、降雨、水系、土地利用类型、公路和铁路共11个影响因子构成基本评价体系。使用Spearman相关系数对各因子进行共线性分析。基于1711个滑坡样本和1711个随机选取的非滑坡样本数据,利用人工神经网络模型对研究区进行了滑坡危险性评价,并利用混淆矩阵和接收者操作特征曲线(ROC)对模型进行验证。结果表明:混淆矩阵精度84.91%,ROC曲线下面积AUC值0.93,说明模型具有较高精度和预测率。使用自然间断法将滑坡危险性分为5个等级,结果表明研究区内危险性最高地区位于延平区和浦城县,顺昌县和松溪县次之,其余地区多为低危险区和较低危险区。研究结果可为当地区域规划和防灾减灾工程提供一定的理论依据和科学指导。  相似文献

三峡库区移民迁建中发现的岩溶问题是一个重大工程地质问题。巫山县新城二郎庙小区是地质灾害监测预警示范区,那里的三叠系嘉陵江组灰岩在特殊的气候、水文和地质环境下遭受了强烈的岩溶作用,岩体结构变得非常复杂,完整的灰岩变为层状碎裂岩体、岩溶角砾岩、泥质条带和残坡积角砾层。不同的地貌部位具有不同的岩溶特点和强度,总体规律性是由西向东、剖面下部至上部岩溶作用增强,其中陡坡下地形由陡变缓的转折地带和冲沟下部是岩溶作用最强烈的地带。岩溶作用形成了各种微地貌和特殊的岩体组合格局。岩溶导致岩体的力学强度和稳定性不断降低,加上其他自然因素和人为因素作用可能产生地面不均匀沉降、地裂缝、滑坡、崩塌、泥石流和地面塌陷地质灾害,这些问题必须在移民迁建以及将来城镇运行过程中引起高度重视。  相似文献

The Chauki, Mandi, Manil colony, Changpur, Khawas and Naghal areas are situated in between the limbs of Hazara Kashmir Syntaxis (HKS). HKS is the part of Himalayan fold and thrust belt that lies in sub-Himalayan domain. Seismically, this is an active zone. Early Miocene to Recent sedimentary rocks are exposed in the area. The stratigraphic units in Kashmir basin are the cover sequence of the Indian plate. These non-marine lithostratigraphic units are molasse deposits formed by the deposition of sediments coming from north carried by the rivers originated from higher Himalayas. Murree Formation of early Miocene age is the oldest rock unit in the studied area. Siwalik Group; Chinji, Nagri, Dhok Pathan and Soan formations of early Miocene to Pliocene and Mirpur Formation of Pleistocene age is exposed. The area is structurally deformed into folds and faults. The Sarda Sarhota syncline, Mandi syncline and Fagosh anticline are major folds in the area. These folds are isoclinal to open in nature, southwest or northeast verging and thrust direction is southwest or northeast. Major reverse faults are Riasi fault and Fagosh fault. The Changpur fault is a normal fault. Primary sedimentary structures present in the area are load cast, ripups and cross bedding. The facing of beds have been marked on the basis of these sedimentary structures.  相似文献

Photogrammetric analysis of aerial photographs is used to investigate morphological changes in two large landslides located adjacent to the active Marathias normal fault along the Gulf of Corinth, Greece. This E–W trending fault intersects at almost right angles a series of west-verging and east-dipping thrust faults, and has a clear geomorphic expression. The fault's structural signature, such as the trace length, displacement, segmentation, and scarp freshness resembles other normal faults within the Gulf of Corinth. Along this fault we mapped a series of landslides that are mainly concentrated at the near tip areas. Two of them are hosted in the damage zone formed by the intersecting normal and reverse faults. The Marathias and Sergoula landslides show a significant geomorphic evolution on aerial photographs from 1945 to 1991.

Evolution of landslides in the study area appears to be correlated with two earthquake clusters that drive mass wasting in the order of 106 m3, significant drainage adjustment, and triggering of post-landslide river incision. We infer the following process sequence for these presumably earthquake-triggered landslides in the region: eroded material in Marathias landslide and reactivation of movement within the main body of the Sergoula landslide were observed in 1969 aerial photographs. Both landslides are deep-seated rotational rockslides. Obstruction or abandonment of channels due to the landslides establishes river incision and a dramatic increase of the rate of fan-delta progradation in the order of 1 m/yr. These large landslides are related to strong (M > 6.5) earthquakes concentrated along faults, and their reactivation period is almost a century, based on seismological or paleoseismological analyses.  相似文献

A method is presented to monitor the development of geomorphic hazard areas by overlaying time series of air photos in a digital image processing system. The present study deals with such hazards affecting an urban area, Villavicencio at the foot of the eastern Andes in Colombia. The relevant windows of the air photos are digitized by flat-bed scanning and then transformed geometrically to be overlain on SPOT panchromatic imagery where available. The 10 m resolution of the satellite imagery allows, in practice, sufficient detail to bring out the differences, which are a yardstick to monitor the development of the phenomenon over time. Where no SPOT panchromatic imagery is available, one of the photos may be taken as a reference; registration to a topographic base map is also possible. A development over time to the present hazardous situations can be read from the analyzed imagery. Air photo series dating back to 1937 are available for this research, in the context of a geomorphic hazards study currently undertaken in the eastern Colombian Andes front where it pushes against the Llanos Orientales. The mountain front is quite steep and high, and the contact with the plains is very abrupt. A thrust fault zone in which the rocks are strongly mylonitized, marks the eastern front. Villavicencio lies just below this zone, but its main access road has to cross it. The terrain is mostly made up of Mesozoic and Palaeozoic sedimentary series, with prominent black lutites; Tertiary sedimentaries are found in the foreland. All rocks are strongly folded and faulted. Precipitation is in the order of 3500–5500 mm per year. Records on river discharge events are scarce or absent. Seismic events are frequent in the area. This area is prone to strong and rapid geomorphic processes posing hazards to the inhabitants. The town of Villavicencio is the gateway to the Llanos Orientales. It is the major town for hundreds of kilometres around, and a commercial, educational and health centre for the whole eastern region of Colombia. It is connected to Santa Fe de Bogotá, the national Capital, by the only highway to the Llanos, which traverses very difficult terrain through the Eastern Andes, and is cut frequently by landslides, bridge collapse etc., as a result of the torrential rainfall and the instability of the terrain. A major hazard is a big landslip known as the Mirador, close to Villavicencio, on the main road to Bogotá. Its rapid advancement has caused numerous road closures; its growth could be monitored on the scanned and registered air photos. The shifting and flooding of the Guatiquía River threatens the left bank, on which the airport of Villavicencio is situated. The development of the flood hazard, and the areal extent of the area threatened, is monitored and measured on the scanned and referenced air photos. The areal growth of the town of Villavicencio itself could likewise be monitored and measured. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

鲜水河断裂带是发育于青藏高原东缘的一条大型左旋走滑断裂带,该区新构造活动强烈且历史强震频发,一系列大型-巨型滑坡沿断裂带密集分布。在资料收集的基础上,对鲜水河断裂带两侧10 km区域内进行遥感解译和野外地质调查,建立数据库并对滑坡主要影响因素进行分析。在滑坡区域发育分布规律分析的基础上,选取地形坡度、地形坡向、地面高程、平面曲率、地形湿度指数、活动断裂、工程地质岩组、年降雨量、河流、道路、植被覆盖指数等11个因素作为滑坡易发性评价因子,在ArcGIS软件平台上,采用证据权模型开展了滑坡易发性评价。根据成功率曲线对评价结果的检验,滑坡易发性评价结果具有较好的精度,并将研究区的滑坡易发程度划分为极高易发、高易发、中等易发、低易发和不易发5个级别。滑坡的易发性受鲜水河断裂带影响显著,极高易发区和高易发区主要分布在东谷到道孚县沿鲜水河断裂带两侧,以及康定县城和磨西镇附近;中等易发区主要分布在鲜水河支流两岸及省道沿线;滑坡低易发区和不易发区主要分布在人类工程活动少的高山地带以及地形相对平缓的区域。滑坡易发性评价结果很好地反映了鲜水河断裂带区域内滑坡发育分布现状,为该区重大工程规划建设和防灾减灾提供参考依据。  相似文献

研究玉树地震灾区4县27乡镇的灾后重建工程地质与水文地质条件,选定了地形地貌、地层岩性、水文地质条件、场地地震烈度4个因素作为评价分区指标,构建了单因素指标评价准则,并利用层次分析方法确定了各因素的权重。在此基础上,结合模糊数学理论与方法,分别给出了基于自然单元、乡镇以及各乡镇工程建设用地、特别是极重灾区结古镇镇址的工程地质与水文地质评价结果。结果表明,除奔达乡、真达乡、洛须镇、正科乡、尕多乡等5乡镇所在地分布在工程地质条件较差和极差区,不具备重建工程地质与水文地质条件外,其余各乡镇所在地均处于工程地质较好和良好区,具备重建工程地质及水文地质条件。结古镇原镇址85%的建筑用地分布在工程地质与水文地质条件比较好的地区,只有零星的建筑用地分布在工程地质与水文地质条件较差和极差区,活动断裂穿越,距离地质灾害易发地较近,重建时要注意避让。  相似文献

滑坡风险管理是防灾减灾的有效途径之一,而灾害风险评价是风险管理的基础和依据。以三峡库首区为研究区、多源遥感影像为主要数据源,利用立体像对技术及光谱分析等方法快速提取地形地貌、地表覆被、地质及水文条件等滑坡孕灾环境信息,应用随机森林模型分析区域滑坡危险性;采用面向对象方法建立典型承灾体识别规则,快速提取建筑物及交通道路等信息,综合分析滑坡危险性及承灾体信息,以实现区域滑坡灾害风险评价。结果显示:高风险区面积为41 km2,约占研究区面积的9%,主要集中于人口聚集的城镇和交通建设用地等经济价值大的地区。其评价结果与野外实地调查情况基本吻合。  相似文献

Landslides are one of the most widespread natural hazards in high mountain terrains such as the Himalayas, which are one of the youngest tectonically and seismically active mountain ranges in the world. The crustal movements along the longitudinal thrusts and transverse faults give rise to earthquakes and in turn initiate landslides in the region. In fact, in addition to various static factors causing landslides, earthquakes are one of the major causes of landslides. It is thus imperative to incorporate seismic factor also while carrying out landslide susceptibility zonation map preparation in a seismically active areas like Garhwal Himalayas. In this paper, a study on the effect of earthquakes on landslide susceptibility zonation has been demonstrated by taking Chamoli earthquake as an example.  相似文献

This study presents a landslide susceptibility assessment for the Caspian forest using frequency ratio and index of entropy models within geographical information system. First, the landslide locations were identified in the study area from interpretation of aerial photographs and multiple field surveys. 72 cases (70 %) out of 103 detected landslides were randomly selected for modeling, and the remaining 31 (30 %) cases were used for the model validation. The landslide-conditioning factors, including slope degree, slope aspect, altitude, lithology, rainfall, distance to faults, distance to streams, plan curvature, topographic wetness index, stream power index, sediment transport index, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), forest plant community, crown density, and timber volume, were extracted from the spatial database. Using these factors, landslide susceptibility and weights of each factor were analyzed by frequency ratio and index of entropy models. Results showed that the high and very high susceptibility classes cover nearly 50 % of the study area. For verification, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were drawn and the areas under the curve (AUC) calculated. The verification results revealed that the index of entropy model (AUC = 75.59 %) is slightly better in prediction than frequency ratio model (AUC = 72.68 %). The interpretation of the susceptibility map indicated that NDVI, altitude, and rainfall play major roles in landslide occurrence and distribution in the study area. The landslide susceptibility maps produced from this study could assist planners and engineers for reorganizing and planning of future road construction and timber harvesting operations.  相似文献

Landslides are one of the most dangerous hazards in Vietnam. Most landslides occur at excavated slopes, and natural slope failures are rare in the country. However, the volume of natural slope failures can be very significant and can badly affect large areas. After a long period of heavy rainfall in the fourth quarter of 2005 in Van Canh district, a series of landslides with volumes of 20,000–195,000 m3 occurred on 15 December 2005. The travel distances for the landslides reached over 300–400 m, and the landslides caused some remarkable loud booming noises. The failures took place on natural slopes with unfavorable geological settings and slope angles of 28–31°. The rainfall in the fourth quarter of 2005 is estimated to have a return period of 100 years and was the main triggering factor. Because of the large affected area and low population density, resettling people from the dangerous landslide-prone residential areas to safer sites was the most appropriate solution. In order to do so, a map of landslide susceptibility was produced that took into account slope angle, distance to faults, and slope aspect. The map includes four levels from low to very high susceptibility to landslides.  相似文献

The 2015 Mw7.8 Gorkha earthquake triggered thousands of landslides of various types scattered over a large area. In the current study, we utilized pre- and post-earthquake high-resolution satellite imagery to compile two landslide inventories before and after earthquake and prepared three landslide susceptibility maps within 404 km2 area using frequency ratio (FR) model. From the study, we could map about 519 landslides including 178 pre-earthquake slides and 341 coseismic slides were identified. This study investigated the relationship between landslide occurrence and landslide causative factors, i.e., slope, aspect, altitude, plan curvature, lithology, land use, distance from streams, distance from road, distance from faults, and peak ground acceleration. The analysis showed that the majority of landslides both pre-earthquake and coseismic occurred at slope >30°, preferably in S, SE, and SW directions and within altitude ranging from 1000 to 1500 m and 1500 to 3500 m. Scatter plots between number of landslides per km?2 (LN) and percentage of landslide area (LA) and causative factors indicate that slope is the most influencing factor followed by lithology and PGA for the landslide formation. Higher landslide susceptibility before earthquake is observed along the road and rivers, whereas landslides after earthquake are triggered at steeper slopes and at higher altitudes. Combined susceptibility map indicates the effect of topography, geology, and land cover in the triggering of landslides in the entire basin. The resultant landslide susceptibility maps are verified through AUC showing success rates of 78, 81, and 77%, respectively. These susceptibility maps are helpful for engineers and planners for future development work in the landslide prone area.  相似文献
