P‐ and S‐wave velocity and attenuation coefficients (accurate to ±0.3% and ±0.2 dB/cm, respectively) were measured in synthetic porous rocks with aligned, penny‐shaped fractures using the laboratory ultrasonic pulse‐echo method. Shear‐wave splitting was observed by rotating the S‐wave transducer and noting the maximum and minimum velocities relative to the fracture direction. A block of synthetic porous rock of fracture density 0.0201 ± 0.0068 and fracture size 3.6 ± 0.38 mm (measured from image analysis of X‐ray CT scans) was sub‐sampled into three 20–30 mm long, 50 mm diameter core plugs oriented at 0°, 45° and 90° to the fracture normal (transversely isotropic symmetry axis). Full waveform data were collected over the frequency range 500–1000 kHz for both water and glycerin saturated cores to observe the effect of pore fluid viscosity at 1 cP and 100 cP, respectively. The shear‐wave splitting observed in the 90° core was 2.15 ± 0.02% for water saturated and 2.39 ± 0.02% for glycerin saturated, in agreement with the theory that suggests that the percentage splitting should be 100 times the fracture density and independent of the saturating fluid. In the 45° core, by contrast, splitting was 0.00 ± 0.02% for water saturation and ?0.77 ± 0.02% for glycerin saturation. This dependence on fracture orientation and pore fluid viscosity is consistent with the poro‐visco‐elastic theory for aligned, meso‐scale fractures in porous rocks. The results suggest the possible use of shear‐ or converted‐wave data to discriminate between fluids on the basis of viscosity variations.  相似文献

The SSQ-1 Digital Tape Recording Horizontal Pendulum Tiltmeter is an instrument of high sensitivity to detect the changes of ground tilt. It uses a quartz horizontal pendulum held by Z?llner bifilar suspension to sense vertical displacement, the eddy-current transducer on the pendulum converts its displacements into electric signals. Then a microcomputer is used for data acquisition and printing as well as digit tape recording. And at the same time, a filtering pen recorder is used for visible recording. The scale value of the instrument is calibrated by computer using the known tilt angle of the bulging plate — mercury cup. The scale value is 0.3–0.5 m(″)/mV. The following are the testing results for the earth tide observation obtained from the east-west component at Baijiatan Seismic Station, Beijing: r(O1): 0.6490±0.0179 α(O1): −3.83°±1.58° r(K1): 0.8049±0.0128 α(K1): 1.40°±0.90° r(M2): 0.6699±0.0040 α(M2): −0.27°±0.34° r(S2): 0.7316±0.0075 α(S2): 2.83°±0.58° r(M3): 0.8497±0.0964 α(M3): 1.61°±6.51° The Chinese version of this paper appeared in the Chinese edition ofActa Seismologica Sinica,15, 353–359, 1993. A gas-liquid gravimeter of the manometric type with a drift-free elastic element, namely gas, proposed by the author is described. The possibility to implement an effective self-contained system allowing for complete compensation of the temperature and temperature gradient effects, as well as for actual elimination of the effect of a small inclination on the sensitive element of the gravimeter, is shown. Utilization of a float converter equipped with a capacitance transducer of displacements increases the measurement range up to ~104 mGal, the calculation error in the entire range being ±1 μGal.  相似文献

Results are presented of recent sensitivity calibration of 76 accelerographs (SMA-1) of the Los Angeles Strong Motion Array. These have pendulum-like transducers and optical recording system. One characteristic of their design is off-axis sensitivity, which is magnified by transducer misalignment. A new calibration procedure was applied, which considers off-axis sensitivity and measures the angles of misalignment (φ and ψ), as well as the incident angle of the light beam onto the film (θ0). These are required (1) for accurate estimation of sensitivity, and (2) for proper instrument correction of recorded accelerograms which considers also cross-axis sensitivity and misalignment. These effects are important near large acceleration peaks (approaching and exceeding 1g), e.g. like the ones recorded near the source of the 1994 Northridge earthquake (ML=6·4). This earthquake was recorded by 65 stations of the Los Angeles Strong Motion Array, at epicentral distances from 2 to 85 km. Histograms showing distribution of the misalignment angles, light beam incidence angle θ0 (for unloaded position) and the transducer sensitivities are presented. These indicate that the misalignment angles are typically 1–1·5°, but may also be 3–4°. Angle θ0 (usually neglected), is mostly between ±8°, but may reach ±12°. Assuming θ0=0 leads to systematically smaller values of the measured sensitivity (e.g. by ∼3% for θ0=8° and ∼4% for θ0=12°). Comparison of the newly measured sensitivities with those measured prior to installation (in 1979/1980), sold, shows that, in general, the new values are systematically smaller. The difference is typically within 5 per cent, but in some cases is as large as 10 per cent. Other principal sources of the observed differences and their mechanisms are discussed. Those include long-term changes in the transducers (e.g. change of stiffness, reflected in changes of the natural frequency) and differences in the calibration procedure (e.g. errors associated with manual reading film records with tilt test data, and with transducer and instrument housing misalignment). When a slug test is conducted in a highly permeable aquifer, a shallow pressure transducer in the well casing produces an oscillatory pressure head that is representative of the water level fluctuation, whereas a deep pressure transducer in the well casing yields an oscillatory pressure head that is different from the water level change. Although the solutions for shallow and deep pressure head are different, it is found that the ratios of the subsequent extremity displacements are in an identical relationship (an extremity can be a maximum or a minimum in the oscillatory pressure head). Based on this relationship, an analytical data analysis method for the determination of the hydraulic conductivity is developed for both shallow and deep pressure transducer data. This analytical method is applied to the pressure head measured at different depths in the well casing of a well partially penetrating an unconfined coarse sand aquifer. Satisfactory results are obtained, validating the applicability of this analytical method for pressure transducer data at any depth in a well casing. Based on an analysis of a large array of meteorological data, we have shown that surface air temperatures differ significantly in years of sunspot maxima and minima for different months and latitudes and longitudes of observation points. This difference is the greatest at high latitudes of 60–83°; it is equal to +2.07 ± 0.28°C in February in the longitudinal range of 170 ± 190° and −1.41 ± 0.29°C in November in the longitude range of 150 ± 170°.  相似文献

目的:对比多排螺旋CT直接法下腔静脉成像测量径线,与间接法下腔静脉成像测量径线是否存在差异。方法:回顾性分析30例(男14例,女16例,年龄23~65岁,中位年龄44岁)直接法下腔静脉成像的患者图像,收集30例(男10例,女20例,年龄20~66岁,中位年龄43岁)腹部增强检查患者静脉期图像。通过GE adw4.6后处理工作站对原始图像行MIP、MPR重建,分别测量下腔静脉右心房入口、第一肝门、肾盂、左右髂总静脉分叉上方平面的长径、短径,并测量左肾静脉汇入下腔静脉上方1cm处下腔静脉CT值。结果:下腔静脉右心房入口、第一肝门、肾盂、髂总静脉分叉上方平面的长径及短径,直接法成像分别为(3.02±0.44,2.06±0.32)、(2.29±0.49,1.39±0.52)、(2.46±0.44,1.73±0.45)、(2.30±0.38,1.66±0.46);间接法成像分别为(2.88±0.43,1.95±0.31)、(2.37±0.59,1.17±0.37)、(2.28±0.32,1.63±0.31)、(2.25±0.21,1.47±0.34),两者之间无明显统计学差异。直接法左肾静脉汇入下腔静脉上方1 cm处CT值为313.43±50.90HU远高于间接法的95.50±22.17HU。结论:多层螺旋CT直接法下腔静脉成像与间接法下腔静脉成像,下腔静脉的不同层面径线测量无明显差异,直接法成像管腔内造影剂浓度高于间接法,显示下腔静脉更好,测量结果为正确评估下腔静脉疾患提供参考数据。   相似文献

Glacier mass balance and secular changes in mountain glaciers and ice caps are evaluated from the annual net balance of 137 glaciers from 17 glacierized regions of the world. Further, the winter and summer balances for 35 glaciers in 11 glacierized regions are analyzed. The global means are calculated by weighting glacier and regional surface areas. The area-weighted global mean net balance for the period 1960?C2000 is ?270 ± 34 mm a?1 w.e. (water equivalent, in mm per year) or (?149 ± 19 km3 a?1 w.e.), with a winter balance of 890 ± 24 mm a?1 w.e. (490 ± 13 km3 a?1 w.e.) and a summer balance of ?1,175 ± 24 mm a?1 w.e. (?647 ± 13 km3 a?1 w.e.). The linear-fitted global net balance is accelerating at a rate of ?9 ± 2.1 mm a?2. The main driving force behind this change is the summer balance with an acceleration of ?10 ± 2.0 mm a?2. The decadal balance, however, shows significant fluctuations: summer melt reached its peak around 1945, followed by a decrease. The negative trend in the annual net balance is interrupted by a period of stagnation from 1960s to 1980s. Some regions experienced a period of positive net balance during this time, for example, Europe. The balance has become strongly negative since the early 1990s. These decadal fluctuations correspond to periods of global dimming (for smaller melt) and global brightening (for larger melt). The total radiation at the surface changed as a result of an imbalance between steadily increasing greenhouse gases and fluctuating aerosol emissions. The mass balance of the Greenland ice sheet and the surrounding small glaciers, averaged for the period of 1950?C2000, is negative at ?74 ± 10 mm a?1 w.e. (?128 ± 18 km3 a?1 w.e.) with an accumulation of 297 ± 33 mm a?1 w.e. (519 ± 58 km3 a?1 w.e.), melt ablation ?169 ± 18 mm a?1 w.e. (?296 ± 31 km3 a?1 w.e.), calving ablation ?181 ± 19 mm a?1 w.e. (?316 ± 33 km3 a?1 w.e.) and the bottom melt-21 ± 2 mm a?1 w.e. (?35 ± 4 km3 a?1 w.e.). Almost half (?60 ± 3 km3 a?1) of the net mass loss comes from mountain glaciers and ice caps around the ice sheet. At present, it is difficult to detect any statistically significant trends for these components. The total mass balance of the Antarctic ice sheet is considered to be too premature to evaluate. The estimated sea-level contributions in the twentieth Century are 5.7 ± 0.5 cm by mountain glaciers and ice caps outside Antarctica, 1.9 ± 0.5 cm by the Greenland ice sheet, and 2 cm by ocean thermal expansion. The difference of 7 cm between these components and the estimated value with tide-gage networks (17 cm) must result from other sources such as the mass balance of glaciers of Antarctica, especially small glaciers separated from the ice sheet.  相似文献

本文收集使用紫坪铺水库台网记录到的汶川地震主震P波波形资料,利用P波反投影叠加法获取了2008年5月12日汶川M_W7.9地震起始破裂的时空演化过程.通过分析本次大地震起始破裂阶段(0~1s)破裂点在三维空间内的分布特征,确定了本次大地震起始破裂位置及起始破裂断层几何结构模型.得到以下结果:汶川地震起始破裂点位于31.013±0.002°N、103.392±0.002°E,震源深度为8.2±0.4km,发震时刻为2008年5月12日14∶27∶58.80±0.4.汶川地震起始破裂的最佳断层面走向为NE48°,倾向NW35°,起始阶段破裂的深度范围为地下7.5~9km.  相似文献

— The fish Colisa fasciatus, Saccobranchus fossilis and Notopterus notopterus were exposed to phenol, pentachlorophenol and dinitrophenol at four pH levels, i. e. 4.6 + 0.12, 6.0±0.14, 7.3 ±0.10 and 8.8 ±0.13, to evaluate the effect of pH on the toxicity of these chemicals. — A change in pH from 7.3 ± 0.10 to 6.0 ± 0.14 increased toxicity to a certain degree while a change from 7.3 ± 0.10 to 4.6 ± 0.12 potentiated the toxicity of phenol, pentachlorophenol and dinitrophenol 5.05, 19.30 and 22.33 times, respectively for Notopterus notopterus, 3.59, 4.39 and 4.73 times, tespectively for Colisa fasciatus and 3.04, 4.68 and 5.85 times, respectively for Saccobranchus fossilis. — A change in pH from 7.3 ± 0.10 to 8.8 ± 0.13 has a protective effect on the toxicities.  相似文献

The Lavini di Marco rock avalanche deposit (“Marocca di Marco”) is located along the left side of the middle Adige Valley, south of the town of Rovereto (NE Italy). The deposit is estimated to have a volume of ∼2 × 108 m3 and cover an area of ∼6.8 km2. It comprises Jurassic Calcari Grigi limestones that detached from the western slope of Mt. Zugna Torta. The Lavini di Marco is composed of at least two different rock avalanche bodies, the main deposit known as Lavini di Marco (the principal) and the much smaller Costa Stenda deposit. Costa Stenda deposits overlie Lavini di Marco deposits. Samples for 36Cl exposure dating were collected from boulders within the deposits, from sliding plane bedrock and from the bedrock wall at the head scarp. Exposure ages range from 800 ± 210 to 21310 ± 1000 years. The latter age stands as a notable outlier suggesting that that Costa Stenda boulder was exposed for a considerable amount of time in the pre-slide bedrock. Lavini di Marco and Costa Stenda boulder ages are 2600 ± 200, 2700 ± 200, 3100 ± 300, 3300 ± 300, 3400 ± 300, 4400 ± 290, 5300 ± 300, and 5400 ± 300 years. The latter three are Costa Stenda boulders which we also interpret to contain inherited nuclide concentrations. The five remaining boulder ages cluster around 3000 years. We calculate a mean age for the Lavini di Marco and Costa Stenda rockslides of 3000 ± 400 years. Within the uncertainties of our data the two slides were simultaneous. For the bedrock sliding plane we obtained significantly younger ages, 1600 ± 100 and 1400 ± 100 years, and for the head scarp 800 ± 200 years. The sliding plane ages record small-scale reactivation which seems to overlap in time with a catastrophic flood event of the Adige River in Verona, as reported in the Fulda Annales, in 883 AD. Only the single age of 800 ± 210 years suggests activity at Lavini di Marco coincident with the well-known Verona earthquake (1117 AD).  相似文献

Because of the significance to the formation and evolution of the Tibetan plateau, the displacement and slip rate of the Altyn Tagh fault have been topics full of disputation. Scientists who hold different opinions on the evolution of Tibet insist on different slip rates and displacements of the fault zone. In the article, study is focused on the late Quaternary slip rate of the Altyn Tagh fault west of the Cherchen River (between 85°E and 85°45'E). On the basis of high resolution SPOT images of the region, three sites, namely Koramlik, Aqqan pasture and Dalakuansay, were chosen for field investigation. To calculate the slip rate of the fault, displacement of terraces was measured on SPOT satellite images or in situ during fieldwork and thermo-luminescence (TL) dating method was used. To get the ages of terraces, samples of sand were collected from the uppermost sand beds that lie just under loess. The method for calculating slip rate of fault is to divide the displacement of terrace risers by the age of its neighboring lower terrace. The displacement of rivers is not considered in this article because of its uncertainties. At Koramlik, the slip rate of the Altyn Tagh fault is 11.6±2.6mm/a since 6.02±0.47ka B.P and 9.6±2.6mm/a since 15.76±1.19ka B.P. At Aqqan pasture, about 30km west of Koramlik, the slip rate is 12.1±1.9mm/a since 2.06±0.16 ka B.P. At Dalakuansayi, the slip rate of the fault is 12.2±3.0mm/a since 4.91±0.39ka B.P. Hence, we get the average slip rate of 11.4±2.5mm/a for the western part of the Altyn Tagh Fault since Holocene. This result is close to the latest results from GPS research.  相似文献

Based on Vening Meinez-Moritz global inverse isostatic problem, the Moho density contrast is formulated as that of finding a solution of a Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. We present solutions to this equation by combining global models of gravity (EGM08), topography (DTM2006) and seismic crust (CRUST2.0) to a resolution of 2°×2°. The test computations yielded Moho density contrasts ranging from 81.5 kg/m3 (in Pacific) to 988 kg/m3 (Tibet), with averages of 678 ± 78 and 334 ± 108 kg/m3 for continental and oceanic regions, respectively, and a global average of 448 ± 187 kg/m3. Estimated Moho depths range from 8 to 75 km with continental and oceanic averages of 36.6 ± 5.3 km and 12.9 ± 5.8 km, respectively, and a global average of 21 ± 12.5 km.  相似文献

A sediment budget for the Late Glacial and Holocene periods was calculated for the Lac Chambon watershed which is located in a formerly glaciated temperate crystalline mountain area. It appears that over 15 500 years: (1) 69 per cent of eroded particles have been displaced by gravity processes and then stored within the watershed, compared to 31 per cent that have been displaced by running water and evacuated outward; (2) the mean mechanical erosion due to gravity processes on the slopes amounted to 16·1 ±6 m and only developed on a quarter of the watershed surface, whereas the mean mechanical erosion due to running water amounted 1·24 ± 0·37 m and involved the whole watershed surface. The mean sediment yields due to gravity processes on slopes were 2300 ± 1360, 1770 ± 960 and 380 ± 100 m3 km−3 a−1, respectively, for basalts, and basic and acidic trachyandesites. Values of sediment yield due to running water were 49±15, 120±36 and 79±24 m3 km−2 a−1, respectively, during the Bôlling–Allerôd, the Younger Dryas and the Pre-Boreal–Boreal periods. They were 56±17 and 166±50 m3 km−2 a−1 during the Sub-Atlantic period before and after 1360 a BP , respectively. 目的:宝石能谱CT成像技术在不同病理类型肺癌中鉴别诊断的价值。方法:回顾性分析106例经病理证实的肺癌患者的能谱CT资料,选取动脉期扫描参数,行能谱数据分析。结果:肺鳞癌组、肺腺癌组、肺小细胞肺癌组、肺大细胞肺癌组的NIC分别为:0.07±0.03、0.12±0.06、0.05±0.03、0.05±0.02;钙含量(mg/mL)分别为9.59±5.29、5.83±3.84、2.65±1.47、4.08±1.55,水含量(mg/mL)分别为1060.63±34.87、1038.56±28.36、1040.88±17.83、1036.84±8.26;有效原子序数分别为7.87±0.27、8.01±0.31、7.73±0.32、7.90±0.46;40~80Kev能谱曲线斜率分别为0.77±0.49、1.28±0.68、0.29±0.14、0.44±0.28。各组动脉期的NIC和钙(水)基含量、有效原子序数、40~80keV间的能谱衰减曲线斜率比较差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。动脉期鳞癌组、肺腺癌组、肺小细胞肺癌组、肺大细胞肺癌组的NIC两两比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);肺鳞癌组的水含量与肺腺癌组、肺小细胞肺癌组、肺大细胞肺癌组之间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);肺鳞癌组与肺腺癌组、小细胞肺癌组、大细胞肺癌组及肺腺癌组与肺小细胞肺癌组之间钙含量比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);肺鳞癌组与肺腺癌组及肺腺癌组与肺小细胞肺癌组之间的有效原子序数比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);肺鳞癌组与肺腺癌组、小细胞肺癌组及肺腺癌组与肺小细胞肺癌组、大细胞肺癌组的40~80keV能谱衰减曲线斜率之间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:原发病灶的能谱CT特征参数,对不同病理类型及组织来源肺癌的鉴别诊断有着一定的临床指导意义。   相似文献
