文章扼要介绍了基于LASG/IAP大气环流谱模式(SAMIL)的气候系统模式的新版本FGOALS-s的发展和结构。出于发展一个在东亚季风模拟方面有一定优势的气候系统模式之目的,FGOALS-s的大气模式分量SAMIL采用了较高的水平分辨率R42,这相当于2.8125°(经度)×1.66°(纬度),高于三角截断T42的分辨率。对FGOALS-s在模拟大气、陆面、海洋和海冰的气候平均态,以及主要的年际变率信号方面的能力进行了检验。分析表明,FGOALS-s成功地控制了气候漂移趋势,能够较为真实地模拟大气、海洋和陆面的气候平均态,特别是受益于大气模式的较高分辨率,由中国西南向东北延伸的夏季风雨带的分布,在模式中得到较为真实的再现,表明该模式在东亚夏季风的模拟上具有较强能力。耦合模式能够成功再现El Ni~no事件的非规则周期变化,但是其年际变化的振幅较之观测要弱。赤道中西太平洋年际变率的强度较之赤道中东太平洋要强。在中高纬度,模式模拟的北大西洋涛动模态,在空间分布上与观测接近。FGOALS-s模式存在的主要问题,是模拟的热带海温偏冷、而中纬度海温则偏暖,原因是模式模拟的云量分布存在偏差,它直接影响到海表的净热通量收支。模式模拟的北大西洋高纬度地区的海温明显偏冷,令该地区的年平均海冰分布的范围明显偏大;然而受南极周边海温偏高影响,南极洲周围的海冰范围则偏少。FGOALS-s的未来工作重点,宜放在大气模式的云过程、海洋模式的经向能量输送过程、以及海洋与大气的淡水通量耦合方案的改进方面。 相似文献

使用中国科学院大气物理研究所研制的全球海洋环流模式(LASG/IAP Climate system Ocean Model,LICOM),通过设计三个试验,即以德国马克斯—普朗克气象研究所整理的海洋模式比较计划(OMIP)资料和美国国家海洋资料中心(NODC)发布的《世界海洋图集2009》(WOA09)资料为强迫场的试验W,用美国环境预报中心(NCEP)和国家大气研究中心(NCAR)联合推出的NCEP/NCAR再分析资料(简称NCEP资料)中的风应力资料代替试验W中的风应力资料的试验M,以及用NCEP资料中的热力强迫代替试验M中的热力强迫资料的试验N,来研究不同的热力和动力强迫场对模式的影响。三个试验的模拟结果均模拟出了水团和流场的分布型和极值区。从三个试验的结果对比可以看出,NCEP资料较弱的风应力使得试验M环流场明显偏弱,减弱了大洋内部的温盐输送,加大了深海温盐模拟结果与观测资料的偏差,但对原模式过强的南极中层水的输送有所改善。NCEP的短波辐射通量和非短波热通量弱于OMIP,且在两极区域NCEP资料的海表温度比WOA09资料最多低 4℃以上。试验N的模拟结果改善了南大洋60°S以南海区试验W 模拟的海表温度偏高问题,减小了北冰洋部分海域以及副热带大洋东部海表温度的偏差。此外,试验N高纬度较低的海表温度增强了北大西洋深水以及南极底层水的输送,因而改善了深海的温盐模拟结果。三个试验在一些关键海区得到的经向热输送在观测估计及前人模拟结果的范围中,总体上试验M的输送最弱。综合三个试验的模拟结果,可以认为OMIP风应力资料和NCEP海表温度资料更适合作为LICOM模式的强迫场。 相似文献

LASG/IAP 大气环流谱模式对陆面过程的敏感性试验 总被引:7,自引:15,他引:7
将中国科学院大气物理研究所大气科学和地球流体力学数值模拟国家重点实验室最近发展的高分辨率全球大气环流谱模式SAMIL-R42L26, 分别与两个陆面模式--NCAR通用陆面模式CLM和简化的简单生物圈模式SSiB进行耦合.在比较了两个陆面过程模式, 指出CLM改进方面的基础上, 通过分析两个陆气耦合模式所模拟的陆气通量交换结果, 指出新版本的陆气耦合模式(SAMIL-R42L26与CLM耦合)对表面感热、温度、降水率、潜热通量和海平面气压场的模拟能力大大提高, 尤其对于夏季表面感热通量场, 使亚洲北部和东南部、格陵兰岛以及北美洲大部分地区的数值从100 W/m2 降低到接近60 W/m2, 与NCEP再分析资料一致.新版本的陆气耦合模式模拟陆地表面能量收支趋于平衡, 为下一步发展海-陆-气-冰耦合气候系统模式提供保障.采用CLM陆面模式, SAMIL-R42L26能较好地模拟亚洲季风区地表感热和潜热的季节演变趋势, 而采用SSiB陆面模式的结果, 则存在较大误差.文中的结果表明, 不同的陆面模式所模拟的大气下垫面(包括洋面)通量发生的变化, 通过陆气耦合过程产生的影响不仅仅是局地性的, 而且是全球范围的. 相似文献

利用带通滤波方法,将FSU风应力资料分离成ENSO时间尺度上的分量及其剩余部分,将这两部分分别作用于模式海洋(2层热带太平洋区域模式),研究海洋对不同时间尺度大气变化的响应。结果表明:尺管ENSO时间尺度上的风应力分量只占风应力扰动总方差的30%左右,它却能激发出全部异常风应力强迫海洋时所产生的El Nino/La Nina现象和十分相近的SSTA变化周期与振幅。而其余占总异常风应力方差60%以上的部分强迫海洋仅能产生振幅较小的海表温度异常,在非ENSO和ENSO时间尺度上的风应力强迫下,海洋中可产生相近振幅的Kelvin波,但SSTA振幅却存在显著差别,表明海洋对大气扰动信号的频率非常敏感,这里从理论上对该现象作了解释和说明。 相似文献

放射性14C在海洋环流研究和人为CO2问题的研究中都有重要地位。本文用海洋环流模式模拟了海洋中自然14C的分布及海洋对核辐射产生的放射性14C的吸收, 以期对海洋吸收人为CO2的能力做一初步的研究。模拟的海洋环流结果与观测相比符合得较好,成功地模拟出了北大西洋深水(NADW)、南极底水 (AABW)等基本特征。对自然14C的模拟揭示出了海洋通风的基本特征。模拟出的沿GEOSECS 路径的南、北垂直截面与观测结果符合得较好。对核辐射14C的模拟表明:模式模拟的沿GEOSECS 路径的南、北垂直截面与观测结果符合得较好;模拟出的海洋表面核辐射浓度与观测值一致,但核辐射14C在海洋中的柱存量和平均穿透深度都比观测结果要小。文中分析了造成这种差异的可能原因。 相似文献

In Part Ⅰ,the climatological state of the ocean has been simulated by integrating a 6-layer,4°×5°grid global oceanmodel up to 100 years.In this part,the forcing in 1971—1973 is calculated by COADS,and using the integrated result ofthe 100th year as the initial state,we simulated the El Nino process in 1972—1973.The results are as follows:(1)We have reproduced the 1972—1973 El Nino process and its cooling process in the equatorial eastern Pacific.The simulated distribution of SST and the intensity of El Nino are similar to the observations.(2)The results show that there are two kinds of processes in El Nino formation:(i)the warming occurs in the equa-torial western Pacific,then propagates eastward to the central Pacific;(ii)the warm water forms near the coast of theSouth America and then,propagates westward along the equator.Observation indicates that the two processes were in-cluded in the El Nino in 1972.Our numerical experiment can simulate out both of them,although the first process isstronger than the second.In observation,the intensities of both processes are similar.(3)The El Nino process in 1972 can be simulated by running the model with the wind stress forcing,but its intensityis 1/2 the magnitude of observation.Only after adding the forcing of heat flux to run the model,its intensity can coin-cide with the observation.So the forcing effect of heat flux should not be ignored in the formation of El Nino,especiallyin the study of El Nino intensity. 相似文献

本文分析了中国科学院大气物理研究所大气环流模式(IAP GCM)模式大气5~9月平均环流(本文称为背景环流)。结果表明;厄尔尼诺年一系列重要系统(南方涛动、瓦克环流、哈德莱环流、西太平洋副热带高压和热带辐合带)及大范围降水均发生明显异常;北半球西太平洋热带、副热带是环流异常的主要区域。它们与观测资料的分析结果基本一致,从而论证了该模式在低纬环流研究中的应用前景。 相似文献

The data analyses in the first part of this study have shown that the sea surface temperature anomalies (SSTA) in the eastern equatorial Pacific are significantly correlated with the preceding anomalous convergence of the meridional wind stress near the equator. In order to understand the dynamical role of the convergent meridional wind stress anomalies in the El Nino occurring, an ideal wind stress which converges about the equator is set up based on the observations revealed in the first part. A simple dynamical model of tropical ocean is used to study the response of the tropical ocean to the convergent meridional wind stress. The results show that the convergent wind stress in the eastern equatorial Pacific is favorable for the occurrence of El Nino. When the convergent wind stress exerts on the tropical ocean, the westward propagating Rossby wave is excited, which, on the one hand, makes the mixed layer near the equator become thicker. On the other hand, the westward oceanic currents associated with the Rossby wave appear in the vicinity of the equator. The oceanic currents can drive the upper layer sea water to transfer to the west, which is favorable for the sea water to pile up in the western equatorial Pacific and to accumulate energy for the upcoming warm event. 相似文献

State-of-the-art coupled general circulation models(CGCMs)are used to predict ocean heat uptake(OHU)and sealevel change under global warming.However,the projections of different models vary,resulting in high uncertainty.Much of the inter-model spread is driven by responses to surface heat perturbations.This study mainly focuses on the response of the ocean to a surface heat flux perturbation F,as prescribed by the Flux-Anomaly-Forced Model Intercomparison Project(FAFMIP).The results of ocean model were compared with those of a CGCM with the same ocean component.On the global scale,the changes in global mean temperature,ocean heat content(OHC),and steric sea level(SSL)simulated in the OGCM are generally consistent with CGCM simulations.Differences in changes in ocean temperature,OHC,and SSL between the two models primarily occur in the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans(AA)and the Southern Ocean(SO)basins.In addition to the differences in surface heat flux anomalies between the two models,differences in heat exchange between basins also play an important role in the inconsistencies in ocean climate changes in the AA and SO basins.These discrepancies are largely due to both the larger initial value and the greater weakening change of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation(AMOC)in CGCM.The greater weakening of the AMOC in the CGCM is associated with the atmosphere–ocean feedback and the lack of a restoring salinity boundary condition.Furthermore,differences in surface salinity boundary conditions between the two models contribute to discrepancies in SSL changes. 相似文献

A 6-layer,4°×5° horizontal resolution global ocean model has been designed and improved.After a 100-year in-tegration,an equilibrium state has been reached from the upper to lower layers.By taking the mean state of last l0 mod-el years as climatic state,we analyzed the characteristics of the seasonal variation in our model integration.The resultsshow that the simulated seasonal variation is similar to the observed.So the design of our model is successful.Then,us-ing the simulated climatic state of the seasonal variation as the initial state,and the observed stress and thermal state asthe atmospheric forcing,we simulated the process of El Nino in 1972—1973 successfully.The simulated results of sea-sonal variation using our model will be presented in part I. 相似文献
