黄渤海一次持续性大雾过程的边界层特征及生消机理分析   总被引:8,自引:6,他引:2

利用常规气象观测资料、NCEP的FNL客观再分析资料和L波段雷达探测资料以及采用国家卫星气象中心多通道气象卫星监测数据和定性分析海雾的方法来处理卫星监测的海雾信息,探讨了2010年2月22—25日黄渤海大雾过程的边界层海气要素的特征、大雾成因及生消机理,结果表明:(1)这次大雾是产生在欧亚中高纬平直环流、大气层结稳定的气象条件下。南支槽前的西南气流与副热带高压西北侧及沿海高压脊后部的偏南气流汇合,形成一支跨越中低纬的偏南气流为海雾形成提供有利的水汽条件。(2)大雾的生消与海表温度、气海温差、空气稳定度和风场等气象、水文要素有密切关系;大雾期间,黄渤海气海温差在0~2℃;大气边界层至对流层下部均有逆温层和等温层,逆温层内的温差为6~8℃,垂直温度的变化是上层温度随时间增大高于低层,使逆温层加强并不断抬升,抑制空气垂直对流发展。近地层空气湿度较大,在200 m附近出现一个液态水含量达0.6 g·kg~(-1)大值区;850 hPa以下层均由2~4 m·s~(-1)的东北风随高度顺转成6~8 m·s~(-1)的西南风,为大雾形成和持续发展提供了有利条件。(3)大雾的湍流最大发展高度达到240 m,湍流混合作用可将中上层湿区水汽和雾滴带到近海面层,同时也有利于空气的降温,易达到饱和凝结而形成大雾。中低层持续弱暖平流把暖湿气流输送至冷海面上有利于近海面逆温层的建立和维持,海面辐射冷却作用激发平流形成大雾。  相似文献

We investigate the applicability of SLAR (Side-Looking Airborne Radar) to detect waves and other phenomena at sea, for future operational use. Especially, we investigate radar measurements of wave patterns, oil pollution, shipping traffic, and ice reconnaissance and relate these to sea-truth information. The SLAR program benefits from earlier clutter measurements at sea and in a wind-wave tank (carried out by the Physics Laboratory TNO and NIWARS), which have been further elaborated and extended. These are summarized. Results obtained since 1974 lead to the conclusion that the SLAR is applicable for the aforementioned purposes, albeit in a somewhat restricted way. The large resolution cell used, containing a vast number of independent samples, improves the dynamic resolution to about l dB and so turns the SLAR into a sensor eminently suited for the detection of very slight modulations of capillary waves. For the detection of shorter gravity waves, however, especially under severe wind conditions, a finer geometrical resolution might be needed. Results emphasize the need for further fundamental studies of sensor-object interaction.  相似文献

Considered are the results of the numerical analysis of two mesoscale cyclonic vortices generated over the Black Sea near the Caucasian coast on August 3, 2007 and August 7, 2010. It is demonstrated for the axially symmetric and more long-lived vortex occurred in 2007 that the Caucasian vortices are two-dimensional structures dying out rapidly due to the turbulent friction in the near-water boundary layer, and the deviation from the strictly two-dimensional motion is associated with the presence of the secondary circulation. The difference is demonstrated in the mechanisms of the origin of vortices in 2007 and 2010. In the first case, this is the formation of cyclonic circulation over the eastern part of the Black Sea limited by the Anatolian and high Caucasian Mountains, at the intrusion of the airflow of northwestern direction. In the second case, these are the processes of the generation of cyclonic vorticity at the baroclinic airflow running around the northwestern edge of the mountain range over the land.  相似文献

Independent datasets consistently indicate a significant correlation between the sea ice variability in the Bering Sea during melt season and the summer rainfall variability in the Lake Baikal area and Northeastern China. In this study, four sea ice datasets(Had ISST1, Had ISST2.2, ERA-Interim and NOAA/NSIDC) and two global precipitation datasets(CRU V4.01 and GPCP V2.3) are used to investigate co-variations between melt season(March-April-May-June, MAMJ)Bering Sea ice cover(BSIC) and summer(June-July-August, JJA) East Asian precipitation. All datasets demonstrate a significant correlation between the MAMJ BSIC and the JJA rainfall in Lake Baikal-Northeastern China(Baikal-NEC).Based on the reanalysis datasets and the numerical sensitivity experiments performed in this study using Community Atmospheric Model version 5(CAM5), a mechanism to understand how the MAMJ BSIC influences the JJA Baikal-NEC rainfall is suggested. More MAMJ BSIC triggers a wave train and causes a positive sea level pressure(SLP) anomaly over the North Atlantic during MAMJ. The high SLP anomaly, associated with an anti-cyclonic wind stress circulation anomaly,favors the appearance of sea surface temperature(SST) anomalies in a zonal dipole-pattern in the North Atlantic during summer. The dipole SST anomaly drives a zonally orientated wave train, which causes a high anomaly geopotential height at 500 h Pa over the Sea of Japan. As a result, the mean East Asian trough moves westward and a low geopotential height anomaly occurs over Baikal-NEC. This prevailing regional low pressure anomaly together with enhanced moisture transport from the western North Pacific and convergence over Baikal-NEC, positively influences the increased rainfall in summer.  相似文献

以MICAPS资料为基础,海平面气压资料为指标,设计了一种通过计算相似系数查找相似形势,制作黄、渤海地区24h大风的客观预报方法,并建立了包括109个大风历史个例资料库。试验结果表明,风速预报的平均误差在20%以下,满足大风预报业务的要求。相似法具有不需依赖国外资料及计算简单迅速的特点,它不仅是现在日常业务的一个补充,更重要的是,它是一种可以在战争等非常情况下使用的预报方法。  相似文献

For two consecutive days during spring 1997, the windfield over the Baltic Sea has been studied. Thestrength of the geostrophic wind speed is the majordifference in synoptic conditions between these twodays. During both days, the mesoscale wind field overmost of the Baltic Sea is quite heterogeneous; themodifications primarily being caused by the land-seacontrasts. On the day with the weaker wind speed,sea-breeze circulations develop. As a consequence, thewind direction at lower levels is more or lessopposite to the geostrophic over large areas of theBaltic Sea and the surface wind speed decreases withoffshore distance. Wind speed maxima caused by the seabreezes are found along the east coasts in the studiedarea. For the other day, the slow growth of a stableinternal boundary layer over the sea also gives asurface wind speed decrease with offshore distancefrom the coast.  相似文献

利用SVD(singular value decomposition)方法分析了1948年1月—2002年12月北太平洋海平面气压场与海温的关系。结果表明,SVD第1对异类相关分布型反映出,当东北太平洋副热带高压加强(减弱)时,Namias海区海温升高(降低),而加利福尼亚海流区海温降低(升高)。SVD第2对异类相关分布型表明,当阿留申低压加深、北太平洋副热带地区气压升高时,黑潮暖流区海温升高,而北太平洋高、低纬海温降低;反之亦然。时滞相关表明,北太平洋大气环流异常超前海温1个月的相关最好,海温变化对大气环流异常分布型具有维持作用。NCAR CCSM3模拟结果很好地验证了上述结论,即在海气相互作用过程中,东北太平洋副热带高压和NPO(North Pacific Oscillation)与北太平洋海温存在密切联系。  相似文献

2016年3月3—5日,渤海和黄海大部出现了一次大范围持续性的海上大雾天气过程。本文从卫星遥感监测上分析海雾在生成、发展和消亡三个阶段的形态演变特征。从海洋气象条件上分析了山东半岛东南近海没有海雾和海雾形态演变的原因。结果表明:(1)在海雾形成初期,在山东半岛东南海域有弱气旋性弯曲,大气层结不稳定,地面形势受低压影响,虽受偏南风控制,但湿度小,无水汽辐合,因此在山东半岛东南近海没有雾。(2)海雾的形成与低层的偏南暖湿气流有关,而这个偏南暖湿气流来源于西北太平洋,雾区对应着水汽辐合区,海气温差为0~1℃的区域与雾区吻合,在海雾发展成熟期,雾顶长波辐射导致雾体降温,出现气温低于海温的现象。(3)925~1000 hPa垂直风切变有利于海雾在逆温层内维持和垂直高度上的发展,形成有一定厚度的海雾。  相似文献

In this study, the diurnal variations of precipitation and related mechanisms over the South China Sea (SCS) are studied using the TRMM and other auxiliary atmospheric data. We have found that: (1) the amplitude and peak time of the diurnal precipitation over SCS exhibit remarkable regional features and seasonal variations. Diurnal variations are robust all the year around over the southern SCS especially over the Kalimantan Island and its offshore area. Over the middle to northern SCS, however, diurnal variations are noticeable only in the summer and autumn; (2) over the northern SCS precipitation peaks in early morning, while over the southern SCS it has two diurnal peaks: one in the early morning and another in the late afternoon; (3) the diurnal variations of precipitation over the SCS are related to the activity of the SCS summer monsoon and the ENSO events. The late afternoon precipitation increases remarkably after the onset of the SCS summer monsoon over the northern SCS. The early-morning rainfall peak is much more significant during La Nina years than during El Nino years; (4) the land–sea breeze is responsible for the diurnal cycle over the Kalimantan Island and its offshore area while the “static radiation–convection” mechanisms may result in the early-morning rainfall peak over the SCS.  相似文献

The classification is made of atmospheric circulation over the South China Sea water area for the period from 2000 to 2008 on the basis of daily surface synoptic charts taking account of the movement of cyclones and location of anticyclones. Three typical situations are marked out: low-gradient field, low-gradient field with the strong wind in the north of the sea, and the tropical cyclone appearance including three subtypes (the cyclone in the north, at the center, and in the south of the sea). The repeatability, continuity, and duration of the action of the types of atmospheric processes are computed as well as their seasonal and interannual variability.  相似文献

A rare atmospheric phenomenon in the Black Sea region is described: a mesoscale cyclone with all main properties of tropical cyclones. The cyclone developed in the southwestern part of the sea and existed for about five days. The relationship between monsoon cloud cover and incoming solar radiation in the Arabian Sea is examined utilising the available observations of daily mean total cloud amount and solar radiation collected during the summer monsoon. With these data sets, various cloud correction formulae are evaluated. For the estimation of solar radiation, the formulation of Laevastu (1960) is best, with a minimum error of -4%. A multiple polynomial regression equation based on cloud cover and noon altitude of the sun is developed for estimation of daily radiation. The error between estimated and observed radiation is -2%.  相似文献

Summary Monthly mean surface fields of different meteorological parameters and evaporation are studied for the 1979 (poor monsoon) and 1983 (good monsoon) monsoon seasons over the Arabian Sea, in order to understand the role of evaporation on the Indian monsoon rainfall. It is noticed that in general, the sea surface temperatures are higher in 1983 throughout the monsoon season than in 1979 in the Arabian Sea excepting western region. The mean rates of evaporation on a seasonal scale are found to be equal in both years (3.66×1010 and 3.59×1010 tons/day in 1979 and 1983, respectively). No coherence is observed between the evaporation and the west coast rainfall within a season. It is also noted that the pressure distribution over the Arabian Sea is even important to advect the moisture towards the west coast of India, through winds.With 10 Figures  相似文献

利用改进后的双参数层状性降水云模式,对洋面上层状性降水云进行了数值模拟研究。模拟结果表明:对于洋面上较厚的层云降水机制为冰相降水粒子的融化导致的,但降水增长与大陆上层状云不同,主要是在0℃层以下的暖区中进行的。在0℃层以上的负温度区域,几乎不存在液态雨滴。  相似文献

During the spring of 2005, the total particle concentrations and the submicron aerosol size distributions were measured on board the research vessel over the south sea of Korea and the Korean sector of the Yellow Sea. Similar measurements were made over the East China Sea in autumn 2005. The aerosol properties varied dynamically according to the meteorological conditions, the proximity to the land masses and the air mass back trajectories. The average total particle concentration was the lowest over the East China Sea, 4335 ± 2736 cm 3, but the instantaneous minimum, 837 cm 3, for the entire ship measurement was recorded during the Yellow Sea cruise. There was also a long (more than 6 h) stretch of low total particle concentrations that fell as low as 1025 cm 3 during the East China Sea cruise when the ship was the farthest from the shores and the air mass back trajectories resided long hours over the sea. These observations lead to the suggestion of ~ 1000 cm 3 as the background total particle concentration over the marine boundary layer in the studied region of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, implying significant anthropogenic influence even for the background value. In the mean time, average aerosol size distributions were unimodal and the mode diameter ranged between 52 and 86 nm, excluding the fog periods, which suggests that the aerosols measured in this study experienced relatively less aging processes within the marine boundary layer.  相似文献
