On the basis of analyzing observational data on solar radiation, meteorological parameters, and total ozone amount for the period of January 1990 to December 1991 in the Beijing area, an empirical calculation method for ultraviolet radiation (UV) in clear sky is obtained. The results show that the calculated values agree well with the observed, with maximum relative bias of 6.2% and mean relative bias for 24 months of 1.9%. Good results are also obtained when this method is applied in Guangzhou and Mohe districts. The long-term variation of UV radiation in clear sky over the Beijing area from 1979 to 1998 is calculated, and the UV variation trends and causes are discussed: direct and indirect UV energy absorption by increasing pollutants in the troposphere may have caused the UV decrease in clear sky in the last 20 years. With the enhancement of people‘s quality of life and awareness of health, it will be valuable and practical to provid UV forecasts for typical cities and rural areas. So, we should develop and enhance UV study in systematic monitoring, forecasting, and developing a good and feasible method for UV radiation reporting in China,especially for big cities.  相似文献

Summary The diffuse sky radiation component in the ultraviolet wavelengths is often at least 50% of the global irradiance under clear skies, and is the dominant component of ultraviolet global radiation under translucent overcast skies. The distribution of sky radiance was measured in a rural area and modeled for wavelength bands of ultraviolet-B (UVB, 280–320 nm) and ultraviolet-A (UVA, 320–400 nm). Sky radiance measurements were made during the summer of 1993 over a wide range of solar zenith angles using radiance sensors mounted on a hand-operated hemispherical rotation mount. UVB irradiance measurements were also made during each scan. Since the ratio of measured irradiance under overcast skies and that predicted for clear skies was not correlated with cloud base height, opaque cloud fraction, or solar zenith angle, it was concluded that the scattering from the clouds dominated the global irradiance, and this scattering was relatively unaffected by the scattering off opaque clouds in the translucent atmosphere.Analysis of the translucent overcast sky UVA and UVB radiance measurements using a semi-empirical distribution model showed that the spectral influences on multiple scattering, single scattering, and horizon brightening components of the distributions agreed with basic atmospheric radiation theory. The best model used solar zenith, the sky zenith, and the scattering angle with resultant coefficient of determination values of 0.62 and 0.25 for the UVA and UVB respectively. The developed equations can be applied directly to the diffuse sky irradiance on the horizontal to provide radiance distributions for the sky.With 6 Figures  相似文献

利用广州地区1985—1990年的太阳分光辐射的连续观测资料(观测角度为23°11′),研究了广州地区紫外辐射、可见光辐射(光合有效辐射)、近红外辐射的某些特征。结果指出,每年7—10月份各分光辐射及总辐射总量较大。月总辐射中可见光辐射占总辐射的百分比年平均为47.3%,相应的紫外辐射和近红外辐射分别占7.1%和45.6%。文中还分析了晴天条件下分光辐射的变化和1990年紫外辐射变化的某些特征,并分析和讨论了分光辐射与云量、日照时间等因子的相关。  相似文献

利用2004年4月—2005年6月在中国科学院大气物理研究所铁塔分部的紫外辐射观测数据,分析了北京城市紫外辐射的变化特征,结果表明,紫外辐射的变化规律与太阳总辐射一致,紫外辐射与总辐射的比值变化范围在0.02~0.04之间,晴天恒定在0.03,阴天在0.04左右,在沙尘暴过程中比值最小,为0.02。通过分析紫外辐射与大气质量数和平均晴空指数之间的关系,建立了适合于北京的全天候紫外辐射的估算方程。利用建立的估算方程及观测的总辐射值进行了紫外辐射的估算,紫外辐射的计算相对误差在10%以内。  相似文献

Summary This paper deals with fractal analysis of daily solar irradiances measured with a time step of 10 minutes at Golden and Boulder located in Colorado. The aim is to estimate the fractal dimensions in order to perform classification of daily solar irradiances. The estimated fractal dimension and the clearness index KT are used as classification criteria. The results show that these criteria lead to three classes: clear sky, partially covered sky and overcast sky. The results also show that the evaluation of the fractal dimension of the irradiance signal based on a data set with 10 minutes time step is possible.  相似文献

Summary ?The relationship between global photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and global solar radiation is studied with a 2-year data archive of hourly values HPAR and HSW of these irradiances obtained at Athalassa, Cyprus. These data are used to determine the temporal variability of HPAR and its dependence on sky conditions. The seasonal variation of the ratio HPAR/HSW obtained from daily data ranges from 0.456 (during summer) to 0.451 (during winter) with an annual mean value of 0.454. The ratio increases from 0.454 to 0.467 (daily values) or from 0.460 to 0.501 (hourly values), as sky conditions change from clear to overcast. Finally, the effect of aerosol content on the HPAR/HSW ratio is found to incur substantial changes in the PAR fraction. Received June 27, 2001; revised April 17, 2002; accepted May 18, 2002  相似文献

Summary Total ozone has been monitored with high accuracy at many sites for a relative long period of time. This is not the case for UV. The main reason is that UV is difficult to measure accurately. Extensive monitoring started first during the 1990s. However, there are some data series still in operation that were initiated at earlier dates. This paper will discuss one such series from Norrk?ping, Sweden that began in March 1983. The instruments used to measure UV radiation have some characteristics producing an output signal that is not directly related to the UV. Here, these problems are discussed and corrections are applied. The goal is to produce a homogenous and an accurate set of UV data as is possible. An analysis of the various sources of uncertainty is done and summarised as total uncertainty. This was found to be about 6% for the yearly values of CIE weighted UV. However, the precision is much better at about 0.6%. Finally, some results are shown for yearly and seasonal UV. The trends for the full period 1983–2003 are tested for significance. The spring, summer, autumn and yearly data showed a significant increase in UV of respectively 0.8, 0.3, 0.8 and 0.5% per year. To get some indication of the cause of the variation of global radiation (indicator of cloudiness) and total ozone measured at the same site were also processed. A small, but insignificant, decrease of total ozone was found, whilst global radiation showed an increase. It seems that cloudiness is the major factor for the observed variation in UV for this period. The data are available on the internet.  相似文献

根据龙门县1962—2012年逐日气象资料,采用线性回归、滑动平均、人体舒适度指数等方法,研究了龙门县寒冷天气统计特征及其对人体舒适度的影响。结果表明,近50年来龙门寒冷天气日数呈不显著减少趋势,减少速率每10年1.9 d,但近10年寒冷天气日数呈增加趋势。寒冷天气主要出现在12—2月,占全年的86.8%。寒冷天气可分阴冷寡照型、晴空辐射型、冷空气来袭型3种类型。部分橙色寒冷天气虽然早晚气温较低,人体感觉寒冷,但中午气温较高,人体感觉舒适;而黄色寒冷天气若为阴雨寡照型时,全天气温较低,人体感觉寒冷。  相似文献

In this work, daylight reference years (DRYs), based on daylight and solar radiation measurements, are designed for two European cities, Athens, Greece and Bratislava, Slovakia, by using the Danish method, the Festa–Ratto technique and the Modified Sandia National Laboratories methodology. The data basis consists of 5-minute values of global and diffuse horizontal illuminance, global and diffuse horizontal irradiance, zenith luminance and solar altitude as well as of daily values of sunshine duration for 5 years for Athens and 8 years for Bratislava. Moreover, Linke's turbidity factor, luminous turbidity factor and relative sunshine duration are calculated and utilized. Then, for each DRY, the predominant sky-luminance distributions over Athens and Bratislava are identified, by using the methodology of Kittler et al., who corresponded the main sky conditions to 15 theoretical sky standards in diagrams of the ratio of zenith luminance to diffuse horizontal illuminance against solar altitude.For both cities the three aforementioned methods do not create identical DRYs. Despite the differences, the sky types defined for each of the two places seem not to depend on the choice of DRY. The predominant sky standard, for all of them, is a cloudless, polluted sky with a broad solar corona for Athens and an overcast sky with slight brightening towards the sun as well as very clear sky with low atmospheric turbidity for Bratislava. However, the selection of the DRY, which represents best the daylight conditions, is necessary for studies in saving energy in buildings. The DRY, which is created by the Modified Sandia National Laboratories method, is chosen for most cases, while the one created by the Danish method is also useful on certain occasions.  相似文献

Using the radiative transfer simulation, the sampling study about the spectral and anisotropic corrections for GMS satellite data is carried out. The conversion factor and the anisotropic reflectance factor in inversion process of broadband radiation fluxes have been obtained for various underlying surface scenes in clear sky and for the case of overcast sky. The results demonstrate that the consideration of spectral and anisotropic corrections is essential for the earth radiation budget research using satellite data. The mean conversion factors for GMS are between 2.54 and 5.30. The values of the conversion factor are different for various observation angles, especially in cases of ocean, vegeta-tion cover and wet soil surface. The error of retrieving broadband radiance without considering the difference of ob-servation geometry is about 5.5%-15% for ocean, 4.5%-10% for various land surfaces. The calculated anisotropic factors for ocean and cloud scenes are in good agreement with those estimated from Nimbus-7. For Land, desert and snow scenes, the calculated values in backward scattering direction are smaller than the measured.  相似文献

A method(Rieland,1985)has been modified to determine the downward solar radiation at ground overEast Asia,using GMS-3 data of the satellite with a spatial resolution of 10×10 krn~2 and a time interval of 3hours.The distributions of the monthly mean global radiation are obtained for January,April,July and Octoberof 1985.These results illustrate that the topography effect of the Tibetan Plateau is not negligible.The valuesof global radiation over the high Tibetan Plateau during all seasons are higher than those in the lower-levelsurroundings.By comparing model results with ground observed data, the relative errors in monthly averagesof global radiation are 2.8% for clear sky and 6.3%,5.3%,5.0% and 4.5% for cloudy sky in January,April,July and October,respectively.The relative error in daily global radiation during the snow-free season is lessthan 20% and larger than 20% in snow-covered winter.We,however,had no data for these comparisons whichwere measured directly at the Plateau during the year 1985.  相似文献

Summary ?The analysis of ground-based measurements of solar erythemal ultraviolet (UV) irradiance with a Solar Light 501 biometer, and total (300–3000 nm) irradiance with an Eppley B&W pyranometer at the Argentine Antarctic Base “Almirante Brown”, Paradise Bay (64.9° S, 62.9° W, 10 m a.s.l.) is presented. Measurement period extends from February 16 to March 28 2000. A relatively high mean albedo and a very clean atmosphere characterise the place. Sky conditions were of generally high cloud cover percentage. Clear-sky irradiance for each day was estimated with model calculations, and the effect of the cloudiness was studied through the ratio of measured to clear-sky value (r). Two particular cases were analysed: overcast sky without precipitation and overcast sky with rain or slight snowfall, the last one presenting frequently dense fog. Total irradiance was more attenuated than UV by the homogeneous cloudiness, obtaining mean r values of 0.54 for erythemal irradiance and 0.30 for total irradiance in the first case (without precipitation) and 0.27 and 0.17 respectively in the second case (with precipitation). Mean r values for the complete period were 0.58 for erythemal irradiance and 0.43 for total irradiance. Erythemal and total daily insolations reduce quickly at this epoch due to the increase of the noon solar zenith angle and the decrease of daylight time. Additionally, they were strongly modulated by cloudiness. Measured maxima were 2.71 kJ/m2 and 18.42 MJ/m2 respectively. Measurements were compared with satellite data. TOMS-inferred erythemal daily insolation shows the typical underestimation with respect to ground measurements at regions of high mean albedo. Measured mean total daily insolation agrees with climatological satellite data for the months of the campaign. The albedo of snow for different cloudiness conditions is an important parameter in the Earth's radiation budget analysis and in the study of snowpack's thermal conditions. In this study an efficient approximate method is derived to calculate the incident spectral solar flux and snow-cover albedo in terms of different atmospheric, cloud, and snow parameters. The global flux under partially cloudy skies is expressed in terms of the clear sky flux and a coefficient which models the effect of scattering and absorption by cloud patches and multiple reflections between the cloud base and snowcover. The direct and the diffuse components of the clear sky flux are obtained using the spectral flux outside the atmosphere and the spectral transmission coefficients for absorption and scattering by molecules and aerosols.The spectral snow reflectance model considers both specular surface reflection and volumetric multiple scattering. The surface reflection is calculated by using a crystal-shape-dependent bidirectional reflectance distribution function; the volumetric multiple scattering is calculated by using a crystal-size-dependent approximate solution in the radiative transfer equation. The input parameters to the model are atmospheric precipitable water, ozone content, turbidity, cloud optical thickness, the size and shape of ice crystals of snow and surface pressure. The model yields spectral and integrated solar flux and snow reflectance as a function of solar elevation and fractional cloudcover.The model is illustrated using representative parameters for the Antarctic coastal regions. The albedo for a clear sky depends inversely on the solar elevation. At high elevations the albedo depends primarily upon the grain size; at low elevation the albedo depends on grain size and shape. The gradient of the albedo-elevation curve increases as the grains become larger and faceted. The albedo for a densely overcast sky is a few percent higher than the clear-sky albedo at high elevations. A simple relationship between grain size and the overcast albedo is obtained. For a set of grain size and shape, the albedo as a function of solar elevation and fractional cloud cover is tabulated.  相似文献

根据1996~1998年由NILUV紫外辐射仪在西藏拉萨地区观测的紫外辐射资料,分析了青藏高原拉萨地区生物有效辐射的分布特征.结果表明,1997年日正午最大生物有效紫外辐射剂量率(UV dose rate)达到500mW m-2,最小值为9.7 mW m-2;晴天时生物有效辐射剂量率的日变化呈规则曲线,且早晚小,中午大;一年中紫外辐射变化的总趋势是由太阳天顶角决定的,紫外辐射的日变化和年变化是其最主要、最基本的变化;西藏拉萨地区的月平均红斑辐射剂量明显高于全球其他同纬度地区.  相似文献

为提高新疆戈壁地区云的自动化观测水平,基于全天空红外成像仪(WSIRCMS)获取的红外辐射图像,利用辐射传输模式SBDART分析了仪器测量波段对有云无云状况的敏感性并构建了拟合方程,同时利用典型季节的晴空辐射样本拟合了晴空曲线并统计形成了晴空阈值,最后利用统计晴空阈值对全天空红外辐射图像进行云像素识别和总云量计算。将不同季节总云量计算结果同人工观测结果对比验证表明:观测时段算法计算总云量和人工观测总云量差值在±2成以下的概率均在80%以上,说明该方法具有较高的准确度和较强的实用性,在观测业务中具有较好的应用前景。  相似文献

通过对鼎湖山森林地区近地面O3和NOx浓度、太阳辐射、气象参数等为期一年的观测和资料分析,给出了地面O3和NOx浓度、太阳辐射的变化规律及其相互之间的关系.地面O3、NOx、CO、SO2浓度以及紫外辐射、太阳总辐射等有明显的日变化和季节变化.不同因子对O3的敏感性试验结果表明,晴天和实际天气,O3浓度对NO、NO2浓度的变化最为敏感,其次是水汽、气溶胶,最后是紫外辐射.所有因子的变化均引起O3在湿季比干季更大的变化率,因此在研究臭氧化学和光化学时,应该考虑水汽以及OH自由基的重要作用.对于晴天和实际天气的逐时值和日平均值而言,O3浓度与NO2/NO之间存在很好的正相关关系,比值NO2/NO可以作为判断O3峰值出现的一个指标.O3极值的出现既受NO和NOx影响,也受气象因素(温湿度、云、风、雾、降雨)和辐射的影响.周末O3、NOx浓度及NO2/NO有规律的增大,表明实验地点的大气受到人为污染源的影响.  相似文献

Abstract

The Gueymard model of short‐wave sky radiance has been validated against sky radiance date measured in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta. Except for sky points within the circumsolar region in clear skies and for low sun positions in near overcast skies the model performs as well as other current sky radiance models.  相似文献

给出了1996年夏季在广东肇庆鼎湖山对光化辐射、地面O3、NO、NO2浓度的观测结果,对影响地面O3、NO、NO2的主要因子进行了分析。晴天,地面O3、NO、NO2浓度有明显的日变化;阴天,它们的日变化比较复杂。晴天和阴天,在lnQUVB/m和lnQvis/m(其中QUVB为紫外B辐射,Qvis为可见光辐射,m为大气质量)与地面O3、NO,NO2浓度、整层大气水汽含量(q1、q2、q3、q4)之间存在着很好的相关关系。利用得到的关系式计算了地面O3浓度,在紫外和可见光波段,计算值与观测值符合得都比较好。  相似文献
