文章通过人工模拟降雨试验,研究不同地下孔(裂)隙度、基岩裸露率和雨强对地表、地下产流、产沙的影响,其结果表明:(1)土壤侵蚀与地下孔(裂)隙度具有较高相关性,地表产流、产沙随地下孔(裂)隙度的增大而减小,而地下则相反;(2)坡面径流刚产生时,雨滴击溅和薄层水流冲刷,土壤细小颗粒堵塞其毛管空隙,渗漏率减小,而地表径流量增大,土壤团聚体被破坏、分散和迁移,降水与土壤渗漏率增大,地表径流量减小,雨滴击溅增强,如此循环,降水与土壤渗漏率呈波动性变化;总体而言,地表、地下悬移质均随降雨历时呈下降趋势,而地表推移质则相反,地表、地下产流量变幅较小,趋于平行;(3)地表产流、产沙量随基岩裸露率增大呈波动性变化,总体呈下降趋势;而地下产流、产沙量随基岩裸露率增大呈波动性变化,总体呈增大趋势;(4)在较小雨强30 mm/h时,地表只产生悬移质流失,没有产生推移质流失;地表、地下产流、产沙都是随雨强增大而增大;雨强由30 mm/h增大到150 mm/h,地表累积产流量为538.5 L,累积产沙量为2 393.81 g,地下累积产流量为207.8 L,累积产沙量为687.73 g,累积产沙量的递增速率比累积产流量的递增速率要大,地表产流、产沙的递增速率大于地下产流、产沙的递增速率;(5)各因子与土壤侵蚀间相关程度为:降雨历时>雨强>地下孔(裂)隙度>基岩裸露率。该实验有助于为喀斯特地区的水土流失研究、评价及制订石漠化治理措施提供理论依据。   相似文献

沟岸被侧蚀掉的松散物质会通过动量交换将能量传递给龙头,从而影响泥石流的形成和运动过程。前人建立了许多模型来研究泥石流的侵蚀过程对泥石流形成和运动过程的影响,但是模型中大多以底蚀作用为前提条件。通过侧蚀模型和底蚀模型两种水槽实验的对比,针对泥石流的形成和运动过程展开研究。实验发现侧蚀作用更有利于泥石流的形成和运动,泥石流的龙头高度和速度都有波动特征,但侧蚀作用使得这种波动特征更加明显。侧蚀作用使得泥石流的龙身速度更快于龙头速度,龙身颗粒源源不断地堆积于龙头,使得龙头有较大的高度和附加坡降,因此,侧蚀条件下龙头的速度更快。  相似文献

Channel morphology and bed sediment erodibility are two crucial factors that significantly affect debris flow entrainment processes. Current debris flow entrainment models mostly hypothesize the erodible beds are infinite with uniform slopes. In this study, a series of small-scale flume experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of bed longitudinal inflexion and sediment porosity on basal entrainment characteristics. Experimental observations revealed that sediment entrainment is negligible at early stages and accelerates rapidly as several erosion points appear. Continual evolution of flow-bed interfaces changes interactions between debris flows and bed sediments, rendering the interfacial shear action involved into a mixed shear and frontal collisional action. Lower bed sediment porosity will change the spatial arrangement and orientation of particle mixture, strengthen the interlocking and anti-slide forces of adjacent sediment particles, and promote the formation of particle clusters, all of which will increase bed sediment resistance to erosion. By examining the post-experimental bed morphology, the slope-cutting amounts and topographic reliefs are determined to positively correlate with longitudinal transition angles. These high topographic reliefs may indicate the propensity of triangular slab erosion, rather than strip-shaped slab erosion, in non-uniform channels with relatively steep erodible beds. Empirical formulas are obtained that denote the relationships among bed sediment strength, channel curvature radius, and sediment porosity through a multi-parameter regression analysis. This study may aid in clarifying the complex coupling effects of spatial variations in debris flow dynamics as well as sediment erodibility and bed morphology in non-uniform channels with abundant seismic loose material.

Characterizing stream erosion in any steep mountain landscape is arduous, but the challenge level increases when the stream flows through a glaciated catchment frequently modified by hillslope debris.Glacial landforms and stochastic mass wasting in alpine systems may interfere with sediment delivery to downstream sites where detrital sediments are often collected to represent upstream bedrock sources.To use detrital sediments as indicators of erosion, we need to understand potential sediment accumulation in flat glaciated reaches or behind rockfall barriers. This study investigates the stream channel in Garnet Canyon, a glaciated catchment located in the central Teton Range, to describe hillslope coupled channel morphology and the subsequent effects on sediment transport throughout the catchment.Stream cross-section surveys and sediment size measurements of the surface bedload were collected in the field within a glacially flattened segment of Garnet Canyon. Calculations of shear stress conditions allowed evaluation of the importance of mineral densities on potential grain entrainment. The length of the Garnet Canyon stream observed in this study was coupled with hillslope deposits. Critical shear stresses were sufficient to move gravel-sized sediments through all sections when calculated with quartz mineral density and through most sections when applying apatite mineral density. These results verify the application of detrital sediments to evaluate erosion rates or spatial bedrock sources because snowmelt stream flow efficiently moves entrained sediment past glacially reduced slopes and potential talus barriers.  相似文献

In this study, the distribution of channel‐bed sediment facies in the lowermost Mississippi River is analysed using multibeam data, complemented by sidescan sonar and compressed high‐intensity radar pulse seismic data, as well as grab and core samples of bed material. The channel bed is composed of a discontinuous layer of alluvial sediment and a relict substratum that is exposed on the channel bed and sidewalls. The consolidated substratum is made up of latest Pleistocene and Early Holocene fluvio‐deltaic deposits and is preferentially exposed in the deepest thalweg segments and on channel sidewalls in river bends. The exposed substratum commonly displays a suite of erosional features, including flutes that are quantitatively similar in form to those produced under known laboratory conditions. A total of five bed facies are mapped, three of which include modern alluvial deposits and two facies that are associated with the relict substratum. A radius of curvature analysis applied to the Mississippi River centreline demonstrates that the reach‐scale distribution of channel‐bed facies is related to river planform. From a broader perspective, the distribution of channel‐bed facies is related to channel sinuosity — higher sinuosity promotes greater substratum exposure at the expense of alluvial sediment. For example, the ratio of alluvial cover to substratum is ca 1·5:1 for a 45 km segment of the river that has a sinuosity of 1·76 and this ratio increases to ca 3:1 for a 120 km segment of the river that has a sinuosity of 1·21. The exposed substratum is interpreted as bedrock and, given the relative coverage of alluvial sediment in the channel, the lowermost Mississippi River can be classified as a mixed bedrock‐alluvial channel. The analyses demonstrate that a mixed bedrock‐alluvial channel boundary can be associated with low‐gradient and sand‐bed rivers near their marine outlet.  相似文献

Debris transported by glacier is derived either supraglacially from nunataks and valley sides or from erosion of the subglacial bed. Debris produced above the glacier by fracturing of rock walls has a dominant coarse fraction with angular boulders. Subsequent englacial or supraglacial transport is relatively passive and little comminution occurs. Debris eroded from subglacial bedrock is initially transported in a basal zone of traction, where particles frequently come into contact with the glacier bed and are retarded by it so that large forces may be generated between particles and the bed and at interparticle contacts. The material introduced into this tractional zone may be subglacial bedrock which has undergone a crushing-plucking event and which has a dominant coarse fraction, or supraglacially derived material which finds its way to the glacier bed. These parent debris assemblages are further comminuted by failure in response to locally concentrated compressive stresses, and attrition at shearing interfaces. Boulders transported through the tractional zone will tend to be rounded and bear several directions of striation. Large boulders embedded in lodgement till will tend to be streamlined with striae parallel to glacier flow and with an abruptly truncated distal extremity, rather like a roche moutonnée. Textural and boulder shape characteristics can be used to help distinguish different types of till.  相似文献

在弯道水槽中展开系列试验,研究水力冲刷过程中非粘性岸坡冲刷崩塌与河床冲淤交互作用过程及其影响因素,进一步分析塌岸淤床泥沙贡献率。试验成果表明,水流冲刷过程中岸坡破坏是水流淘刷岸坡坡脚、岸坡崩塌及崩塌体淤积坡脚并在河床上输移掺混的交互作用反复循环过程。塌岸淤床模式及掺混程度与近岸流速、主流贴岸程度、水位及河床边界条件等关系密切。近岸流速越大、水位越高,岸坡总冲刷坍塌量、河床总淤积量以及河床累计淤积率也越大,稳定后的岸坡越趋平缓;河床可动程度越大,岸坡总冲刷坍塌量及其在河床上的总淤积量也越大,但河床累计淤积率却越小;水位越高,在弯道段等横向输沙强度较大的地方,岸坡冲刷崩塌体与河床发生掺混的程度也越大。  相似文献

A series of laboratory experiments on cohesive sediments under inorganic conditions was undertaken in order to evaluate the impact of fluid bed shear stress on the build-up of bed resistance to erosion with time. The importance of small pressures due to flowing water to increase bed strength is presented. It is also shown that the susceptibility of a cohesive bed to changes in its erodibility is related to deposited bed thickness due to sediment disturbance caused by dewatering from the consolidating bed. Laboratory experiments that use beds deposited from suspension should thus report the thickness of the bed prior to resuspension.  相似文献

Debris flows in settings that have experienced net glacial erosion within the UK's Ice-scoured Quaternary domain are the result of a complex interaction of a range of geological and geomorphological factors. On the 11th of August 2016 a rainfall-triggered debris flow deposited 100 t of sediment onto local road and rail infrastructure blocking transport between town of Fort William and port of Mallaig in north-west Scotland. The debris flow occurred in an ice-scoured setting, where current 1:50,000-scale geological maps suggest that little or no sediment is expected on the valley slopes. In this study, we show how weathering and mass-wasting processes have interacted with bedrock structures to fill localised depressions with sediment on the upper parts of the slope. The intense rainfall event of August 2016 caused the destabilisation of this localised sediment, with eventual failure along bedrock joint surfaces resulting in two debris flows. This study demonstrates the combination of processes that can result in thick accumulations of sediment on slopes that are otherwise generally lacking in superficial sediment cover. These sediment accumulations have the potential to pose a significant landslide hazard in areas that might previously have been thought of as lower susceptibility. The research illustrates a need to improve understanding and representation of sediment thickness and distribution on hill slopes – particularly those that show an absence of superficial deposits at the scale of currently available geological maps.  相似文献

以黄土高原无定河流域为例研究了水土保持措施对流域泥沙输移比的影响。水土保持措施极大地改变了流域泥沙的侵蚀、输移和堆积过程,因而改变了流域的泥沙收支关系。在天然状况下,无定河流域的泥沙输移比接近10。20世纪60年代后流域内大规模地展开水土保持工作以来,泥沙输移比急剧下降为0.2~0.4。泥沙输移比的变化,主要是由于流域内人为沉积汇的形成所致。这种人为沉积汇表现为水库、淤地坝的拦沙作用,导致了泥沙输移比大幅度减小。在目前状况下,人工沉积汇的拦沙作用相当于坡面措施减蚀作用的2 4~6.3倍,表明坡面治理措施的有效性尚有待提高,并亟待在生态环境建设中予以加强。  相似文献

不同裸岩率下我国西南喀斯特山区土壤侵蚀的室内模拟   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
以我国西南喀斯特地区作为研究区域,通过资料查询、野外考察,设计加工满足西南喀斯特地区雨强范围的针管式人工降雨装置,针对不同坡度条件下不同裸岩率坡面土壤侵蚀进行12场室内模拟试验。结果显示:(1)径流率在180~300 s之后保持稳定,坡面径流率随着坡度的增大变化较小。(2)输沙率的变化可分为五个阶段:迅速增大、减小、增大、缓慢减小和趋于稳定;同一坡度或不同坡度条件下坡面输沙率均随裸岩率的增大而减小,这种变化量随着坡度的增大而减小,其减小量在40.2%到1%之间。(3)同一坡度或不同坡度的不同裸岩率坡面总侵蚀量均随裸岩率的增大而减小,其变化量随坡度的增大而减弱。   相似文献

泥沙连通性是近10年来国际上的研究热点,从土壤侵蚀角度准确理解泥沙连通性至关重要。泥沙连通性表征流域内不同地貌或景观单元间的泥沙级联关系,受气候、地质地貌、流域特性、地形条件、土壤属性、植被特性、水文过程、土壤侵蚀以及人类社会活动及其时空变化的综合影响,泥沙连通性具有明显的时空变异特征。研究泥沙连通性的方法包括野外调查法、图论法、指标法和模型模拟法,不同方法的理论基础、数据要求、实施过程与结果存在一定差异,连通性指数目前应用最为广泛,但该指数更多强调结构连通性。亟需加强泥沙连通性概念与物理含义、影响因素及其动力机制、研究方法与指标体系等方面研究,明确泥沙连通性与水文连通性、土壤侵蚀和泥沙输移比的关系,分析水土保持措施对泥沙连通性的影响及其动力机制。  相似文献

分析了三门峡水库和小浪底水库拦沙期黄河下游低含沙量洪水的冲刷效率,结果显示:水库拦沙期黄河下游洪水的全沙冲刷效率在平均流量小于4 000 m3/s时随着洪水平均流量的增大而增大,当流量达到4 000 m3/s以后,冲刷效率随着流量的增大不再显著增加,基本保持在20 kg/m3。通过研究分组泥沙的冲刷效率,发现全沙冲刷效率在流量大于4 000 m3/s后细颗粒泥沙冲刷效率降低的幅度大于粗颗粒泥沙冲刷效率增加的幅度,河床细颗粒泥沙的补给能力对全沙冲刷效率具有决定性作用。建议在小浪底水库拦沙期,调控下泄流量使进入下游河道的洪水平均流量在4 000 m3/s左右,使黄河下游洪水的冲刷效率最大,从而实现利用有限的水资源产生最大的冲刷效益,增大下游河道的排洪能力。  相似文献

Karst aquifers supply a significant fraction of the world's drinking water. These types of aquifers are alsohighly susceptible to pollution from the surface with recharge usually occurring through fractures and solution openings at the bedrock surface. Thickness of the protective soil cover, macropores and openings within the soil cover, and the nature of the weathered bedrock surface all influence infiltration. Recharge openings at the bedrock surface, however, are often covered by unconsolidated sediments, resulting in the inadvertent placement of landfills, unregulated dump sites, tailing piles, waste lagoons and septic systems over recharge zones. In these settings surface geophysical surveys, calibrated by a few soil cores, could be employed to identify these recharge openings, and qualitatively assess the protection afforded by the soil cover. In a test of this hypothesis, geophysical measurements accurately predicted the thickness of unconsolidated deposits overlying karstic dolomite at a site ab  相似文献

针对风沙运动中结皮冲蚀破坏及其寿命问题,通过建立沙粒对结皮的冲蚀模型,采用量纲分析研究风沙运动中单颗沙粒对结皮冲蚀量与沙粒冲击速度、沙粒自旋角速度、沙粒直径、沙粒入射角、结皮硬度等的本构关系,并对结皮冲蚀破坏机理及其寿命预测进行理论研究。数值计算结果表明,沙粒冲击速度、沙粒自旋角速度、沙粒冲击角度、沙粒直径及沙尘暴日数、持续时间都对结皮寿命有明显影响。统计分析各项影响因素的平均值计算表明,在结皮厚度20 mm的情况下,结皮寿命为3~8年,平均寿命5.3年。此研究可以更深刻认识结皮的自然破坏特征,对防沙固沙具有一定的理论意义和实际应用价值。  相似文献

Interpretation of indicator dispersal trains preserved in till sheets is widely used to investigate past glacial processes and to explore for buried bedrock mineralization. We present a conceptual model of erosion and entrainment and transport of indicator material in a glacial system. Indicator concentration in an individual size fraction of till is controlled by dilution and comminution. Dilution is the result of incorporation of additional material to the glacier's debris load down-ice of the indicator source, and is described in terms of erosivity and erosion length scale. Erosivity describes the amount of bed material eroded along a flowline, and is a function of both bed properties and the erosive power of the glacier. Erosion length scale describes the persistence of an indicator dispersal signal during transport, and controls both the maximum total indicator concentration and the eventual length of apparent dispersal. We adapt a modified batch grinding particle comminution model to describe breakdown of indicator material during transport and modification of the indicator particle size distribution. Indicator dispersal concentrations are the product of dilution and comminution processes.  相似文献

四川盆地是一个多旋回叠合盆地,加里东期剥蚀量是下古生界烃源岩热演化、早期油气藏的形成与演化以及下组合资源量计算等研究中不可缺少的基础参数。考虑到剥蚀量恢复方法固有的局限性和适用条件以及四川盆地早古生代时期的沉积构造演化特征,本文在分析了四川盆地志留系的原始沉积范围和下古生界残留地层分布格局的基础上,提出了"沉积速率比值+古热流反演+古地质图"法恢复四川盆地加里东期的剥蚀量。志留系原始范围广,覆盖了整个四川盆地,现今川中和川西地区志留系缺失是加里东期剥蚀所致,而不是当时没有沉积。利用钻至下古生界的29口探井的分层数据和130口虚拟井的地震数据,恢复了四川盆地加里东期的剥蚀量,并与古地质图结合,约束了剥蚀量的平面变化趋势。四川盆地加里东期剥蚀量主要受川中古隆起控制,古隆起区剥蚀量为700~1 200 m,川东和川南地区的剥蚀量一般为100~200 m,川北地区的剥蚀量为200~500 m。  相似文献

This research selected water soil erosion indicators (land cover, vegetation cover, slope) to assess the risk of soil erosion, ARCMAP GIS ver.9.0 environments and ERDAS ver.9.0 were used to manage and process satellite images and thematic tabular data. Landsat TM images in 2003 were used to produce land/cover maps of the study area based on visual interpreting method and derived vegetation cover maps, and the relief map at the scale of 1:50,000 to calculate the slope gradient maps. The area of water soil erosion was classified into six grades by an integration of slope gradients, land cover types, and vegetation cover fraction. All the data were integrated into a cross-tabular format to carry out the grid-based analysis of soil erosion risk. Results showed that the upper basin of Miyun Reservoir, in general, is exposed to a moderate risk of soil erosion, there is 715,848 ha of land suffered from water soil erosion in 2003, occupied 46.62% of total area, and most of the soil erosion area is on the slight and moderate risk, occupied 45.60 and 47.58% of soil erosion area, respectively.  相似文献

The northern segment of the Peruvian Andes is affected by a twofold climate with measurable implications on landscapes and landscape dynamics. During ‘normal’ or ‘neutral’ years easterly winds bring rain from the Atlantic and the Amazon Basin to the Sierras, which results in a seasonal climate with rather low-intensity precipitations. In contrast, during the large-scale warm phase of the ENSO cycle, El Niños transfer moisture from the Pacific to the Peruvian coast by westerly winds and result in high-intensity precipitation. We investigate the effects of this twofold climate for the case of the Piura drainage basin at ca. 5°S latitude (northern Peru). In the headwaters that have been under the influence of the easterlies, the landscape is mantled by a thick regolith cover and dissected by a network of debris flow channels that are mostly covered by a thick layer of unconsolidated sediment. This implies that in the headwaters of the Piura River sediment discharge has been limited by the transport capacity of the sediment transfer system. In the lower segment that has been affected by high-intensity rainfall in relation to the westerlies (El Niños), the hillslopes are dissected by debris flow channels that expose the bedrock on the channel floor, implying a supply-limited sediment discharge. Interestingly, measurements at the Piura gauging station near the coast reveal that, during the last decades, sediment was transferred to the lower reaches only in response to the 1982–1983 and 1997–1998 El Niño periods. For the latter period, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) intensity images show that the locations of substantial erosion are mainly located in areas that were affected by higher-than-average precipitation rates. Most important, these locations are coupled with the network of debris flow channels. This implies that the seasonal easterlies are responsible for the production of sediment through weathering in the headwaters, and the highly episodic El Niños result in export of sediment through channelized sediment transport down to the coastal segment. Both systems overlap showing a partially coupled sediment production–delivery system.  相似文献
