福建中高海拔丘陵山地农业气候资源评价及其利用—以漳平市永福镇为例

本文以漳平市永福镇为例,分析了福建中高海拔地区农业气候资源的特点,认为该区发展农业生产的最大优势,恰是长期以来被人们视为劣势的高海拔低气温;并结合农业生产实践,进一步提出了在农业生产中合理利用气候资源、化劣势为优势的途径。     

农业气候资源理论及其充分利用

本文阐述了农业气候资源的理论和充分利用农业气候资源的方法，在农业气候资源理论部分，论述了农业气候资源的涵意，内容，农业气候资源与农业气候的区别；农业气候资源的数量，质量概念及其表示方法，农业气候资源特点等，在农业气候资源利用部分，指出农业气候资源充分利用的３个方面；空间上的充分利用，时间上的充分利用和强度上的充分利用，论证了林果木，牧草在农业气候资源充分利用中的重要作用。     

台湾海峡两岸农业气候资源比较研究

本文通过台湾海峡两岸地区光能资源、热量资源及水分资源综合对比,分析海峡两岸农业气候资源配合状况.旨在为闽东南地区借鉴台湾农业发展经验、建设闽东南特色农业带提供理论基础.     

广东农业气候带划分与合理开发利用

本文论述了广东农业气候带的划分依据，根据各地带的农业气候特点，提出发展区域化农业生产的建议。     

把大柳树灌区建成西北甚至全国粮食基地的建议值得商榷

拟建大柳树灌区所涉及的省区, 过去以牺牲生态为代价达到粮食自给或自给有余, 然而由于特定的自然条件, 单产低, 粮食生产对全国粮食生产安全贡献率不高, 农业效益低, 农牧民生活不富裕。作者从该区农业气候资源、水资源等特点, 生态环境保护与建设要求以及借"南水北调"引水灌溉的高投入、低产出、高耗资源等状况分析, 揭示了拟建大柳树灌区作为西北甚至全国粮食基地不仅不可能, 而且没有必要。

基于GIS的甘肃省农业生产潜力研究

在气象数据库、属性数据库和GIS支持下,采用机制法对作物生产潜力模型进行了光、温、水、土逐级订正,得到了甘肃省的光合、光温、降水、水资源及土地的生产潜力,其结果很好的反映了甘肃省农业生产和农业资源分布的空间格局,各级订正的有效系数进一步揭示了各种资源因子对农业生产的限制程度。

疏勒河流域农业水土资源时空匹配特征分析

水土资源是农业生产最重要的基础性资源,其空间的合理有效配置有利于资源的充分利用和区域可持续发展。以疏勒河流域为研究对象,基于水足迹理论核算流域农业生产水足迹变化规律,采用基尼系数和空间错配模型定量评估研究区2000—2020年农业水土资源的时空匹配动态趋势及其敏感性。结果表明：（1）2000—2020年疏勒河流域农业作物生产水足迹和作物种植面积总体呈波动下降趋势,作物生产水足迹峰值出现在2007、2018年,作物种植面积峰值出现在2009、2018年;流域年均蓝水足迹贡献率达90.9%,且与绿水足迹呈互补关系,表明蓝水是疏勒河流域农业用水的主要来源。（2）农业水土资源的空间匹配程度逐渐提高,总体处于较匹配的状态;蓝、绿水足迹与作物种植面积的空间不匹配程度逐渐得到改善,空间分布中均呈现出中部高、四周低的特点。（3）作物种植面积对作物生产水足迹变化呈中、高度敏感性的地区数量不断增加趋势。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.

THE MOST PERFECT EXAMPLE OF AN ALIEN ECOLOGY EVER CONSTRUCTED

Much science-fiction literature is based upon the creation and exploration of alternative environments. Stanley G. Weinbaum's short story, “Parasite Planet,”introduces an unusual environment that may be wrong in the light of recent evidence on Venus but still stimulates the geographical imagination.     

Metals and models: Diagenic modelling in freshwater lacustrine sediments

This review aims to distill and synthesize the existing information on the use of models to describe and predict the distribution and movement of metals in lacustrine sediments. As such it examines the causes of metal diagenesis, the origin and form of the equations that govern these phenomena, and the predictability or measurability of the parameters that appear in the models. The paper concludes by highlighting some seminal results from modelling studies, including the determination of the factors controlling the formation of surficial Mn-Fe-enriched zone or layers, the substantial contribution possible from metal reduction to organic matter regeneration, the calculation of mixing-corrected metal input histories to lakes, and the prediction of growth rates and morphologies for both deep-sea and lacustrine ferromanganese nodules.
