Wave radiation by a floating rectangular structure in oblique seas   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The linear wave radiation by a long floating rectangular structure in oblique seas of finite depth is investigated by use of the method of separation of variables and the eigenfunction expansion matching method. Analytical expressions for the radiated potentials, wave forces and hydrodynamic coefficients are given. The correctness of these expressions is verified through two specific examples investigated previously by other numerical methods. Using the present analytical solution, the hydrodynamic effects of the angle of incidence, the draft and the width of the structure on the wave forces and hydrodynamic coefficients are discussed in detail which may provide some useful information for the design of rectangular structures in oblique seas.  相似文献

The topside floatover installation is always a great challenge and is sensitive to environmental conditions.In this study,experimental analysis on the mating operation of the floatover installation in different wave headings is presented.The continuous mating operation using the rapid transfer technique was experimentally simulated with the assistance of the jacking system and the ballast system.In the continuous transfer modeling,the topsides loads were transferred onto the jacket by several consecutive steps,including the first rapid jack-down for the 30%loads,continuous 30%?70%load transfer and the second repaid jack-down for the remaining 30%loads.Motions of the barge and the topsides as well as loads on the Deck Support Unite(DSU)and the Leg Mating Unite(LMU)in different wave headings were measured.Experimental results illustrated the complex motion behavior and load characteristics of the continuous transfer operation.Results indicate that the rapid jack-down operations will lead to impact loads and larger lateral DSU loads.The bow quartering seas are much more dangerous as it gives rise to the larger motions and loads.Comparisons with the traditional steady-state modeling indicate that the continuous transfer modeling has greater advantages over the steady-state modeling on predicting the loads.  相似文献

The global surface temperature change since the mid-19th century has caused general concern and intensive study. However, long-term changes in the marginal seas, including the seas east of China, are not well understood because long-term observations are sparse and, even when they exist, they are over limited areas. Preliminary results on the long-term variability of sea surface temperature (SST) in summer and winter in the seas east of China during the period of 1957-2001 are reported using the Ocean Science Database of Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the coastal hydrological station in situ and satellite data. The results show well-defined warming trends in the study area. However warming and cooling trends vary from decade to decade, with steady and rapid warming trends after the 1980s and complicated spatial patterns. The distribution of SST variation is intricate and more blurred in the areas far away from the Kuroshio system. Both historical and satellite data sets show significant warming trends after 1985. The warming trends are larger and spread to wider areas in winter than in summer, which means decrease in the seasonal cycle of SST probably linked with recently observed increase of the tropical zooplankton species in the region. Spatial structures of the SST trends are roughly consistent with the circulation pattern especially in winter when the meridional SST gradients are larger, suggesting that a horizontal advection may play an important role in the long-term SST variability in winter.  相似文献

本文对海-气边界层波致风机制的相关理论进行了阐述,并利用ERA-40再分析资料给出了太平洋谱峰速度、波龄、波陡等描述涌浪和波致风机制物理量的年际和季节空间分布特征。分析表明:东太平洋赤道地区等海域涌浪速度最大且涌浪由南向北传播明显;太平洋波边界层高度基本呈现出东高西低的分布形势;波致风机制主要发生在赤道热带海域,北半球夏季波致风机制偏强,冬季偏弱,南半球反之;北半球北部海域夏季更易发生波致风机制,赤道附近海域相反;南海为风浪与涌浪组成的混合浪,对其波候等相关研究有必要分开进行讨论。  相似文献

Many coastal seas are severely eutrophic and required to reduce nutrient concentrations to meet a certain water quality standard. We proposed a method for nutrient removal by planting Sesuvium portulacastrum at the water surface using the floating beds in the aquaculture area of the Dongshan Bay as an example, which is an important net-cage culture base in China and where dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) and dissolved inorganic phosphate(DIP) reach 0.75 mg/L and 0.097 mg/L, respectively far exceeding China's Grade IV water quality standards.Numerical simulations were taken using the ecological model, field observations and field plantation experimental results to assess the environmental restoration effects of planting S. portulacastrum at some certain spatial scales. Our field experiments suggested that the herbs can absorb 377 g/m~2 nitrogen and 22.9 g/m~2 phosphorus in eight months with an inserting density of ~60 shoot/m~2. The numerical experiments show that the greater the plantation area is, the more nutrient removal. Plantation in ~12% of the study area could lower nutrients to the required Grade II standards, i.e., 0.2 mg/LDIN≤0.3 mg/L and 0.015 mg/LDIP≤0.03 mg/L.Here the phytoremediation method and results provide helpful references for environmental restoration in other eutrophic seas.  相似文献

利用17年5个月的卫星高度计资料,探讨格陵兰岛附近海域海平面的季节变化和年际变化特征,结果表明,该区域海平面变化存在显著的季节信号和年际信号。近20a来,格陵兰岛附近海域海平面的平均上升速率为1.7mm/a,小于全球海平面的平均上升速率。该海域的海平面变化存在很强的区域性,通常多年平均海面高度异常(SSHA)大的海区,海平面上升速率也大;多年平均SSHA低的海区,海平面上升速率则较小。EOF分析表明第一模态为季节模态,整个海域第一空间模态的位相相同,说明该海域海平面的季节变化趋势是相同的。该区域的SSHA与海冰面积指数呈负相关,海平面的季节变化受海冰面积大小的影响显著。SSHA与经向风应力距平的低频分量具有很好的正相关性,与纬向风应力距平的低频分量具有不显著的负相关,说明该海域海平面的年际变化受风应力的影响显著。  相似文献

西太平洋边缘海由于地形特征存在着巨大的差异,它们与开放大洋以及相互之间的联通程度很不相同,用三个比值即:海槛深度与海盆最大深度的比值(S/B),海峡通道宽度与海区面积的比值(P/A)以及通道截面积与海盆体积的比值(C/V)来描述它们的封闭程度,结果表明,日本海在西太平洋边缘海中封闭程度最高,而爪哇海和东海的封闭程度最低,而不同封闭程度的边缘海对冰期旋回的反应有显著的不同。  相似文献

Deep water in the Nordic seas is the major source of Atlantic deep water and its formation and transport play an important role in the heat and mass exchange between polar and the North Atlantic. A monthly hydrological climatology—Hydrobase II—is used to estimate the deep ocean circulation pattern and the deep water distribution in the Nordic seas. An improved P-vector method is applied in the geostrophic current calculation which introduces sea surface height gradient to solve the issue that a residual barotropic flow cannot be recognized by traditional method in regions where motionless level does not exist. The volume proportions, spatial distributions and seasonal variations of major water masses are examined and a comparison with other hydrological dataset is carried out. The variations and transports of deep water are investigated based on estimated circulation and water mass distributions. The seasonal variation of deep water volume in the Greenland Basin is around 22×103 km3 whereas significantly weaker in the Lofoten and Norwegian Basins. Annual downstream transports of about 1.54×103 and 0.64×103 km3 are reported between the Greenland/Lofoten and Lofoten/Norwegian Basins. The deep water transport among major basins is generally in the Greenland-Lofoten-Norwegian direction.  相似文献

The present paper provides an overview of cold-water corals protection in the Hatton Bank deep-water fisheries through the implementation of the United Nations General Assembly resolution 61/105. The methodology and scientific evidence used to propose protection of cold-water coral ecosystems in the high seas (∼16,000 km2) are briefly summarised. The role of international agents and importance of interdisciplinary research for making management decisions are furthermore described. Implementation was slow because (i) of scarce initial scientific knowledge, (ii) research on the high seas was difficult and expensive, (iii) there were several international interests at stake, (iv) agreement from a number of agents was needed, and (v) international advisory and decision making processes were quite slow. Some lessons learned are also discussed since these may help to increase protection efficiency of deep-sea vulnerable marine ecosystems in the high seas.  相似文献

Methods for processing satellite data on ice features that pose a threat to the safety of offshore operations in the Arctic seas are considered. They are divided into interactive, automated, and automatic methods. The methods are illustrated by examples of archival satellite data on the Russian Arctic sector. Radar and optical data have been used as the satellite information source. It is shown that the successful satellite monitoring of dangerous ice features requires the optimal combination of satellite observations at various stages that provide for a synergistic approach to the data assimilation of different spectral bands obtained using different spacecraft.  相似文献

回顾和论述了我国学者近 2 0年来在海洋初级生产力观测研究的进展。随着我国资源与环境问题的日益突出 ,初级生产力研究越来越受到重视 ,研究海域也越来越广阔 ,研究的方法不断改进与完善。 2 0年来我国海洋初级生产力研究取得了很大成绩 ,基本搞清了我国海域的状况 ,为生态系结构与功能研究、为渔业资源的合理开发与可持续发展、为海洋环境质量的评价和赤潮的监测与预报等提供了重要科学基础。目前该项研究正在向更广和更深的层次发展 ,并且与特定的研究目标紧密联系 ,有些研究项目已与国际接轨。加强大空间尺度和长时间序列的观测研究及其与相关学科的综合研究 ,和采用现代化的观测手段 ,必将使该领域的研究提到一个更高的水平。  相似文献

2020年春季(3—5月)的大气环流特征为:北半球极涡为单极型分布,极涡较常年平均值偏强,中高纬度西风带呈现为3波型。3月,影响我国的冷空气总体多而不强,对北方海域影响较大。4月,我国近海海域上空为经向型环流,有利于冷空气南下。5月,影响我国近海的冷空气较弱,以温带气旋影响为主。我国近海出现了13次8级以上大风过程,其中冷空气大风过程4次,冷空气和温带气旋共同影响的大风过程5次,温带气旋影响的大风过程4次。春季共有7次海雾过程,3月3次,4月1次,5月3次。近海浪高在2 m以上的海浪过程有10次,大浪日数偏少。西北太平洋和南海共生成1个台风。我国近海的海面温度整体呈上升趋势,且北方海域升温幅度大于南方海域。  相似文献

针对半潜漂浮式风电基础初步选型,采用Pareto-Optimal评价方法对不同吃水、平台立柱直径、立柱间距和垂荡板直径四个参数的不同组合进行分析比较。基于浮体动力学频域计算方法,采用我国阳江某海域极限波浪条件计算得到叶轮中心水平加速度,同时考虑完整稳性的计算结果。对比分析表明平台吃水和立柱直径宜选择适中的取值,较大的排水量和立柱总体积并不会显著减小叶轮中心水平加速度。垂荡板对于改善平台整体性能是较为敏感的,垂荡板与立柱的直径比存在一定的最佳范围。平台立柱间距是影响平台运动性能最大的因素,增大立柱间距可以有效地降低叶轮中心水平加速度,但立柱间距的增大对立柱间的撑杆结构强度以及平台整体的建造和下水提出了较大的挑战。  相似文献

While the principle of abstention was established as part of the International North Pacific Fishery Convention in 1952, it was generally overlooked for several decades afterwards. The 1995 Straddling Stocks Agreement says that states parties to the Agreement enjoy a right to access to high seas fishery resources, but on the condition that they respect existing regional conservation and management measures. This Agreement also introduces the concept of a precautionary approach. The end result is that the 1995 Agreement fulfilled the same intent of the original 1952 principle of abstention—that is, it places some kinds of restrictions on high seas fishing. The degree of restrictions depends on the activities and policies of new regional fishery organizations like WCPFC and so on. Even if the new version of the principle of abstention succeeds in excluding distant fishing states from high seas, it will do little to solve the larger problems facing today's ocean fishery resources.  相似文献

This paper reviews the last two years operational deep-water performance record of two manned/unmanned tethered ROV Mantis vehicles. Deviations of the system as compared to conventional submersibles and remotely operated vehicles (ROV's) are discussed and evaluated. Applications and advantages of this system in support of deep-water operations are appraised. Results and observations concluded in this paper deal with the importance of having a man in the water, or at least available to go in the water, and also those circumstances which require a remotely operated system either for safety or total bottom time requirement. The significance of each mode of operation is examined. Observations and conclusions have been compiled from operational data collected during over 250 actual dives in deep-water work to depths of 2000 ft (sim 600m).  相似文献

Wave energy resources are abundant in both offshore and nearshore areas of the China's seas. A reliable assessment of the wave energy resources must be performed before they can be exploited. First, for a water depth in offshore waters of China, a parameterized wave power density model that considers the effects of the water depth is introduced to improve the calculating accuracy of the wave power density. Second, wave heights and wind speeds on the surface of the China's seas are retrieved from an AVISO multi-satellite altimeter data set for the period from 2009 to 2013. Three mean wave period inversion models are developed and used to calculate the wave energy period. Third, a practical application value for developing the wave energy is analyzed based on buoy data. Finally, the wave power density is then calculated using the wave field data. Using the distribution of wave power density, the energy level frequency, the time variability indexes, the total wave energy and the distribution of total wave energy density according to a wave state, the offshore wave energy in the China's seas is assessed. The results show that the areas of abundant and stable wave energy are primarily located in the north-central part of the South China Sea, the Luzon Strait, southeast of Taiwan in the China's seas; the wave power density values in these areas are approximately 14.0–18.5 k W/m. The wave energy in the China's seas presents obvious seasonal variations and optimal seasons for a wave energy utilization are in winter and autumn. Except for very coastal waters, in other sea areas in the China's seas, the energy is primarily from the wave state with 0.5 m≤H s≤4 m, 4 s≤T e≤10 s where H s is a significant wave height and T e is an energy period; within this wave state, the wave energy accounts for 80% above of the total wave energy. This characteristic is advantageous to designing wave energy convertors(WECs). The practical application value of the wave energy is higher which can be as an effective supplement for an energy consumption in some areas. The above results are consistent with the wave model which indicates fully that this new microwave remote sensing method altimeter is effective and feasible for the wave energy assessment.  相似文献

Sea level variations in the regional seas around Taiwan   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The patterns and trends of sea level rise in the regional seas around Taiwan have been investigated through the analyses of long-term tide-gauge and satellite altimetry data. Series of tide-gauge data extending over 50 years reveal decadal and interannual variations and spatially-inhomogeneous patterns of generally rising sea level. The East Asia tide-gauge stations around Taiwan show an average trend of +2.4 mm/yr from 1961–2003, which is larger than the reported global rate of +1.8 mm/yr for the same period. These stations also show significantly larger sea level rise rates (+5.7 mm/yr) than global values (+3.1 mm/yr) during the period from 1993–2003. Consistent with the coastal tide-gauge records, satellite altimetry data show similar increasing rates (+5.3 mm/yr) around Taiwan during the same period. Comparisons with temperature anomalies in the upper ocean suggest that thermal expansion and heat advection in the upper layer contribute significantly to the long-term sea level variations in this area with correlations >0.9 for observations after 1992. Thermosteric sea level variations may also explain the interannual and decadal variations of the observed sea level rises around Taiwan. Our analysis also indicates that the altimetry data are only part of a long-term, larger-scale signal. Finally, we have found that a non-linear smoother, LOESS, is more suitable for extracting long-term trends in sea level than the traditional linear regression approach.  相似文献

海洋生态系统累积影响评估是科学认知该系统对外界扰动响应与反馈规律的生态学方法。为了探索和揭示其中的内在规律,本文以我国部分近陆海域为研究范围,选取海洋渔业、海洋航运、陆源及近海、气候变化4种类型下的16个生态压力因子,通过空间量化和标准化,在1 km×1 km空间格栅尺度下,针对研究范围内9种海洋生境类型,进行了累积暴露度和累积影响度评估。结果显示:研究海域累积暴露度总体呈现近岸高于远海,并向外海一侧逐步递减;陆源污染、渔业捕捞对近岸海域生态系统影响度较大,总体来看气候变化影响度最大;我国近海分别有22.8%和7.6%的海域受影响程度较高和极高,其中长三角海域受人类活动影响度最高。  相似文献
