基于普林斯顿(POM)模式,采用不同的垂直混合方案并考虑太阳短波辐射的作用,对渤海、黄海夏季垂直热结构进行了数值试验。试验结果表明,夏季波浪混合控制着渤海、黄海上混合层的形成,加入波浪混合能明显改善陆架浅海的夏季温度垂直结构。太阳短波辐射对渤海、黄海夏季上层垂直热结构有一定的作用,研究夏季海洋上层垂直热结构应该包括太阳短波辐射的影响,特别是对于水深相对较深的黄海。  相似文献

In 1993 and 2007 when the expeditions of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology were performed in the Kara Sea, a significant part of its aquatic area was occupied by lenses of desalinated water. The fresh-water is supplied by the runoff of the Ob and Yenisei rivers, as well as by meltwaters. The report considers the features of the freshwater chemical transformation in the sea. It is shown that the contribution of meltwaters is small in the highly desalinated lenses (with salinity below 15‰) and the freshwater is supplied by the riverine runoff. It is also shown that, under definite conditions, it is possible to determine the relative shares of the Ob and Yenisei waters using the chemical parameters (the silicon and alkalinity). The data of 1993 when two lenses as such were found in the sea were confirmed; at that, the waters of the Yenisei and Ob rivers were prevailing in the western and northeastern lenses, respectively. In 2007, one lens was found in the treated area of the sea. It is shown that the chemical characteristics of the freshwater in the lens appeared to be sufficiently different from those of the Ob river but similar to the Yenisei river’s characteristics according to the data of 1993. A map of the Ob’s and the Yenisei’s water spreading over the sea’s aquatic area is presented.  相似文献

The shelf zones of the Black Sea, Taman Bay, and the Sea of Azov are currently subjected to gross load related to the impact of invasive species, large-scale construction activities near the coast, intensive recreation activity, water pollution in large cities and ports, active navigation, unreasonable coastal arrangement, and dam construction. Another factor substantially affecting the composition of bottom sediments and, thus, the benthos environment is the terrigenous material carried by rivers in the course of catastrophic overflows. An example is the Kubansk flood in 2012, which significantly affected the sea coast near Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, and Divnomorsk. The intensive onshore dumping results in the delivery of abundant allochthonous material, bottom silting causing changes in the dominants in the benthos associations, a decrease in the photic layer and the death of the phytobenthos, and also debris formation at the bottom. Debris can play the role of artificial reefs contributory for the formation of periphytic biocoenoses.  相似文献

This work presents the results of the study of the plankton and benthic microbiocenoses of the Amur estuary. It is shown that the distribution of the total abundance and indicator groups of the bacteriobenthos are characterized by stronger heterogeneity compared with the bacterioplankton and that it depends on the Amur river drainage and the bottom type. The river drainage helps by increasing the overall bacterioplankton abundance in the near-mouth part of the estuary. Microorganisms utilizing low concentrations of OM play a major role in the processes of the OM utilization in the water and bottom sediments. Saprophytic bacteria play a significant role in the OM utilization only in the water at certain sampling sites in the Tatarskiy Strait and Sakhalin Bay and in the bottom sediments taken in the mouth part of the estuary. Some parts of the estuary subject to organic contamination are found according to the microbiological characteristics. It is shown that the fluctuation of the salinity leads to a change of the share of bacteria with different food demands in the microbial community.  相似文献

In October and November 2002, high and relatively high values of the chlorophyll a concentration at the sea surface (C chl) were observed in the English Channel (0.47 mg/m3), in the waters of the North Atlantic Current (0.25 mg/m3), in the tropical and subtropical anticyclonic gyres (0.07–0.42 mg/m3), and also in the southwestern region of the southern subtropical anticyclonic gyre (usually 0.11–0.23 mg/m3). The central regions of the southern subtropical anticyclonic gyre (SATG) and the North Atlantic tropical gyre (NATR) were characterized by lower values of C chl (0.02–0.08 mg/m3 for the SATG and 0.07–0.14 mg/m3 for the NATR). At most of the SATG stations, the values of the surface primary production (C phs) varied from 2.5 to 5.5 mg C/m3 per day and were mainly defined by the fluctuations of C chl (r = +0.78) rather than by those of the assimilation number (r = +0.54). The low assimilation activity of phytoplankton in these waters (1.3–4.6 mg chl a per hour) pointed to a lack of nutrients. An analysis of the variability of their concentration and the composition of photosynthetic pigments showed that, in the waters north of 30° N, the growth of phytoplankton was mostly restricted by the deficiency of nitrogen, while, in more southern areas, at the majority of stations (about 60%), the phosphorus concentrations were the minimum. At the low concentrations of nitrates and nitrites, ammonium represented itself as a buffer that prevented planktonic algae from extreme degrees of nitric starvation. In the tropical waters and in the waters of the SATG, the primary production throughout the water column varied from 240 to 380 mg C/m2 30° per day. This level of productivity at stations with low values of C chl (<0.08 mg/m3) was provided by a well-developed deep chlorophyll maximum and a high transparency of the water. The light curves of photosynthesis based on in situ measurements point to the high efficiency of utilizing the penetrating solar radiation by phytoplankton on cloudy days.  相似文献

We report on the variation in energy reserves of individual C5 copepodites of Calanus finmarchicus from the Newfoundland continental shelf and the Labrador Sea collected from surface and overwintering (or bottom) depths prior to, during and after the expected timing of the onset of diapause. Overall, the trend was for a decreasing average prosome length as the year progressed for all locations although the decline was smallest in the Labrador Sea and greatest in the deep waters of the continental shelf. The size of the oil sac was closely linked to the weight of the copepodite but the form of this relationship showed substantial variations with depth and season. We show a clear increase in the relative oil sac volume for C. finmarchicus between late spring and late summer, by which time some animals had descended to diapause depths. The progressive decrease in oil sac volume of animals sampled at depth in the Labrador Sea between September and December suggests a significant loss of energy reserves during diapause. From the distribution of volumes and body sizes in December we estimate that 23–53% of individuals would not be able to meet the energetic cost of moulting and early gonad development. Overall, some of our observations appear to invalidate earlier hypotheses concerning the governing role of lipids in the life history of C. finmarchicus. However, assessment of the factors that influence entry into dormancy should be based on the relative probabilities of alternative strategies for successful reproduction (e.g. entering dormancy vs. continuing into a second generation).  相似文献

On the basis of the data of the complex oceanographic experiment carried out in the course of the second Ukrainian Antarctic expedition in March 1998, we study the structure and kinematics of waters in the region of the archipelago of Argentine Islands. The regularities of thermohaline stratification of waters are discovered. We determine the most important environmental parameters premoting the variability of hydrophysical fields on time scales varying from several days up to a week, analyse the data of actual observations over the currents, and estimate the relative contribtions of diurnal and semidiurnal tidal waves to the total dispersion of hydrophysical parameters of the environment. The residual currents are filtered out. We propose a hypothesis about the mechanism of their formation. Micronuclei (MN), nuclear buds (NB) and fragmented-apoptotic cells (FA) were analyzed in mature peripheral blood and immature cephalic kidney erythrocytes of flounder (Platichthys flesus), dab (Limanda limanda) and cod (Gadus morhua) from 12 offshore sites in the Baltic Sea (479 specimens) and 11 sites in the North Sea (291 specimens), which were collected during three research vessel cruises in December 2002, 2003 and in September 2004. The highest levels of environmental genotoxicity (frequencies of MN up to 0.5‰, NB – up to 0.75‰) and cytotoxicity (FA – up to 0.53‰) were observed in flatfishes from areas close to oil and gas platforms in the North Sea and in zones related to the extensive shipping and potentially influenced by contamination from large European Rivers (Elbe, Vistula, Oder). In dab from the offshore zones of the North Sea, the levels of nuclear abnormalities were higher as compared to those in dab from the Baltic Sea. Responses in immature kidney erythrocytes were higher than in mature erythrocytes from peripheral blood. MN frequency lower than 0.05‰ (the Baltic Sea) and lower than 0.1‰ (the North Sea) could be suspected as a reference level in the peripheral blood erythrocytes of flatfish.  相似文献

Nutrient and oxygen data collected in the southern Aegean Sea (Cretan Sea) and the straits of the Cretan Arc, during the four seasonal PELAGOS cruises in 1994–1995, are investigated and compared with data collected from 1987 to 1992 within the same area. During the cruises of the PELAGOS Project, nutrient enrichment of the intermediate layers of the Cretan Sea was observed, as a result of intrusion of ‘nutrient-rich, oxygen-poor’ Transition Mediterranean Water (TMW) compensating the Cretan Deep Water (CDW) outflow. TMW occupied the intermediate layers of the entire Cretan Sea. The concentrations of nutrients within this layer were often two times higher than those observed in the same area during previous studies undertaken before 1992 (increase 2.5 μmol/l of nitrate, 0.05 μmol/l of phosphate and 2.5μmol/l of silicate). The decrease of oxygen in this layer is about 0.8ml/l (35 μmol/l). Outflow of CDW occurs principally through the Antikithira and Kassos Straits (the two deeper straits of the Cretan Arc); it results in an increase of oxygen content but a decrease in the nutrient content of water in the deep and bottom layers outside the Cretan Sea. The major mesoscale features in the area have a major influence of the distributions and exchanges of nutrients and oxygen through the straits of the Cretan Arc. The surface and the intermediate layers were richer in nutrients and poorer in oxygen in spring (March 1994), than in autumn (September 1994).  相似文献

选取长江口外赤潮多发区沉积物柱状样,在高分辨率测年基础上,通过有机碳、有机碳同位素(δ13C)、生物硅、绿素等多项指标的分析获得了调查海区古生产力的变化信息。并结合近几十年来营养盐浓度及组成结构的变化探讨了海洋浮游藻类组成结构的变化在海洋古环境中的记录。柱状样年代可追溯到20世纪40年代初。δ13C值在柱中的分布为-26.15×10-3~-19.5×10-3,表明有机碳为陆源与海生的混合。生物标志物在柱状样中的分布可大致分为三个阶段,50年代以前含量均较低;50年代至80年代含量均增加,表明海洋浮游藻类活动强烈且以硅藻为主,与此阶段长江口营养盐浓度迅速增加相对应;80年代以后,生物硅的含量下降至整个柱中最低水平,绿素有所降低,但高于50年代前的水平,而有机碳含量增加,表明在该时段硅藻生物量降低,其他藻类生物量有所增加,这与长江口营养盐氮盐持续增加而硅酸盐逐年降低、氮与磷的含量比值、磷与硅的含量比值迅速增大有关。沉积记录还表明此阶段陆源有机碳的贡献增强。  相似文献

This study represents the first in situ assessment of seagrasses in the Union of the Comoros. The presence of the following 10 species (ranked in order of abundance) was confirmed: Thalassia hemprichii, Thalassodendron ciliatum, Syringodium isoetifolium, Halodule wrightii, Cymodocea rotundata, Cymodocea serrulata, Halodule uninervis, Halophila ovalis, Zostera capensis and Enhalus acoroides. Seagrasses occurred in large, continuous beds in the shallow waters at the northern and southern tips of Grande Comore Island and around the Bimbini Peninsula on western Anjouan Island, but were sparsely distributed throughout the shallow waters surrounding Mohéli Island.  相似文献

本文分析该海域约70个测站的温、盐资料,获得以下结果:(1)夏季在对马暖流的源区,于10~75m水层内,其流路成一明显的分界线,左(西)侧温、盐度较低,右(东)侧温、盐度较高。(2)夏季对马暖流源区存在着三种海水:高温、高盐水,高温、低盐水和高温、次高盐水。(3)夏季朝鲜海峡地区,东水道的温、盐度高于西水道温、盐度。(4)1987年,东海黑潮区、长江口、杭州湾外及东海酉南部海域,夏季的表层盖度,皆比1989年同季、同一海域的盐度偏高;而对马暖流“东海段”却出现相反的低盐现象。其原因之一,1987年冲淡水势力极强,几乎盘踞了对马暖流源区的大部分海域,使源区盐度下降,并随对马暖流北上输送的缘故。其中:(1)和(4)两点认识系首次提出。  相似文献

A conclusion about two extreme regimes existing in the large-scale circulation in the North Atlantic has been drawn based on an analysis of the inter-annual variability of the analogue to the Rossby index, as well as that of the heat and dynamic characteristics in separate areas of the north subtropical circulation. The former is defined by a high level of circulation both in the atmosphere and in the subtropical water circulation. In the current century this regime was realized mainly in the years pertaining to the middle and end of a 22-year solar activity cycle (a 22-year cycle). The relatively low level of atmospheric circulation and the slackened water mass transport are typical of the second regime. On the basis of the data of sounding performed in the deep-water part of the sea down to 1920 m (for a depth of the sea of 2000 m), we study specific features of the vertical distribution of the beam attenuation coefficient in the violet (418 nm) and red (659 nm) spectral bands through the entire thickness of the hydrogen-sulfide zone including the bottom hydrologically homogeneous layer of water. The data of optical measurements performed in the bottom layer for the first time demonstrate that this layer is also optically uniform.  相似文献

根据2011—2012年磨刀门口的夏、冬季大、中、小潮定点观测资料,对欧拉余流、斯托克斯余流以及拉格朗日余流进行分析。结果表明:(1)外海测点的欧拉余流和拉格朗日余流,冬季在各潮型下均为一致的西南沿岸方向,夏季除东、西汊道点在强径流下表现为顺汊道指向外海方向,其余外海各点仍以西南沿岸方向为主;(2)斯托克斯余流远小于欧拉余流,夏季明显大于冬季,方向基本与欧拉余流相反;(3)冬季磨刀门口海域具有稳定西南向沿岸流特征,南海东北季风的驱动作用是其形成的主要原因;夏季磨刀门口各潮型下沿岸流特征各异,其影响的主要因素为径流和风,同时地形的影响不可忽略,特别是拦门沙形成的汊道分流作用,对强径流作用下水沙输移影响十分显著。  相似文献

利用2008年夏季我国第3次北极科学考察资料,基于流式细胞技术,对白令海北部陆架区的微微型浮游植物丰度、细胞大小(碳含量)、色素浓度的分布特征进行了分析,并对该类群的环境适应性进行了研究。结果表明,微微型浮游植物中仅含聚球藻和真核藻,其丰度范围分别为0.14×106 2.69×106和0.23×106-12.49×106个/dm3。聚球藻的叶绿素a和藻红蛋白含量、微微型真核藻的叶绿素a含量与类群丰度以及微微型真核藻的类胡萝卜素含量与细胞大小间均存在同向变化趋势。两类藻偏向于喜温嗜淡型,更适合在寡营养环境中保持较高的丰度,但能在高营养盐浓度下形成相对较高的碳含量。越接近陆地,细胞越小,丰度越大,碳含量及FL2/FL3越低;所处层位越深、纬度越高,则细胞越大,碳含量及FL2/FL3越高。北极气温升高和径流量的增加有利于陆架区微微型浮游植物类群丰度的增加。  相似文献
