进入21世纪,随着互联网、数据库和地理信息系统(GIS)技术的快速发展,古地理学研究及古地理图的绘制也面临新的机遇与挑战,逐渐从定性走向定量,从基于单因素、单学科信息到基于多因素、多学科综合信息。新一代基于数据库和GIS技术的高精度古地理图的绘制,与传统的定性或手工绘制的古地理图相比,涵盖的学科信息广、涉及的数据量大、图件精度高、可叠加各种定量分析的结果,是未来古地理图绘制的主流方向,并将成为定量古地理研究的重要辅助手段。GBDB数据库庞大的地层学和古生物学数据资源,以及以剖面为核心的数据结构,使其成为目前最适合开展定量古地理研究和古地理图绘制的开放数据平台。作者收集、整理了华南435个剖面的综合地层数据,通过数据的标准化和专家厘定,绘制得到了华南奥陶纪凯迪晚期的高精度古地理图。研究表明,凯迪晚期,扬子地台上广泛发育五峰组黑色页岩沉积;扬子地台的西北缘、西南缘、湖南中南部、下扬子地区等沉积了其他岩相地层;华南南部大范围地区、四川中部等均已抬升暴露,缺失本期地层。总体来看,该时期华南呈现了三面古陆环绕的浅水台地这一古地理格局。  相似文献

Geometric constraints derived from the present plate configuration and from plate motion vectors of the Caribbean as well as the North and South American plates within a hotspot reference frame indicate that the thickened Caribbean oceanic crust was formed in a near-American position rather, than at the Galapagos hotspot. A lateral displacement of more than 1000 km between the Caribbean plate and the North and South American plates is related to differences in plate motion velocities during the Cenozoic era. The differential motion between the Caribbean and the American plates results from trench-parallel mantle flow as a response to the westward motion of the American plates.  相似文献

湘西-黔东地区早寒武世沉积序列及铅锌成矿制约   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1  
湘西-黔东地区下寒武统发育完整,是一套从黑色岩系到碳酸盐岩的沉积序列,代表早寒武世复杂的古地理变迁。纵向上,下寒武统组成一个二级层序,可以进一步划分为5个三级层序,构成总体向上变浅的沉积相序列,同时反映了缓坡型碳酸盐岩台地的生长发育过程,铅锌矿赋存于第四层序高水位体系域中;空间上从北西至南东发育从局限台地、浅滩和微生物(藻)丘相、陆棚相等沉积。岩相古地理对层控铅锌矿具有明显的控制作用,主要分布于台地边缘藻丘和浅滩相与局限台地潮下过渡部位。研究表明牛蹄塘组黑色碳质页岩是铅锌矿源层,清虚洞组灰岩是主要容矿层,其中浊积岩、藻丘体、砾(粒)屑灰岩构成一个完整的铅锌控矿序列。  相似文献

In the Oulad Abbou syncline, western coastal Meseta, the Silurian deposits exhibit siliciclastic or mixed siliciclastic/carbonate tidal facies that recorded alkaline basalt flows and syn-sedimentary deformations. These facies are staked into peritidal shallowing upward sequences reflecting the evolution from an infratidal to a supratidal environment. These sequences recorded low-amplitude and high-frequency sea-level variations. The built-up of these rhythmic sequences is related to distensive tectonic that allowed the development of isolated platform from extensive siliciclastic influx. This tectonic event is well recorded in the palaeogeographic evolution of the northern Gondwana platform during the Lower Palaeozoic time. To cite this article: A. Attou, N. Hamoumi, C. R. In southwest Ireland 2,500 m of Upper Famennian to basal Namurian marine sandstones and mudstones, the Cork Beds, overlie rocks of Old Red Sandstone facies. Coastal exposures of the Cork Beds are interpreted as showing gradual upward change from alluvial strata, through thick subtidal and shelf sediments to pyritic muds. A review of recent palaeontological evidence shows that the thick shallow marine part of the Cork Beds is older than the major development of lime-stones north of the Cork Harbour—Kenmare Une, whose equivalents to the south are in the condensed basinal sediments. The Lower Carboniferous portion of the Cork Facies is shown to be thicker in South Cork than in West Cork. In Lower Carboniferous times a positive area–the Glandore High–separated two sub-basins with different depositional histories. Six palaeogeographic maps are used to demonstrate the progressive shift of facies belts as Lower Carboniferous marine transgression progressed. Finally, brief comparison is made with rocks of the same age in southwest England.  相似文献

华南地区下奥陶统仑山组为奥陶系最底部的岩石地层单位之一,其以大套白云岩为主要特征,广泛分布于下扬子区。通过对安徽池州洪家剖面仑山组的系统分析,并结合下扬子区多个相关剖面的资料,进一步确定仑山组岩性为白云岩、灰质白云岩和白云质灰岩,夹有部分亮晶颗粒灰岩和亮泥晶颗粒灰岩。整体上以亮晶生屑灰岩或泥晶生屑灰岩的出现作为仑山组顶界,在下扬子区内部、北部及东南部地区以白云质灰岩或灰质白云岩出现为其底界,而在下扬子区西南部大部分地区则以白云岩化出现为其底界。整个仑山组所含生物化石种类和数量较少,自下而上可建立5个牙形石带,分别是Monocostatus sevierensis带、Acanthodus lineatus-A. costatus带、Scolopodus? pseudoplanus带、Glyptoconus quadraplicatus带和Paltodus deltifer-Tripodus proteus带,推测其时代为早奥陶世特马豆克早期。仑山组主要形成于浅潮下带至深潮下带环境中,其地层总厚度和其中的白云岩厚度受到古地理因素的控制。通过岩石学特征分析,推断仑山组白云岩主要为准同生条件下的多种白云岩化作用叠加中等埋藏条件下的白云岩化形成。  相似文献

Field, geochemical, geochronological, biostratigraphical and sedimentary provenance results of basaltic and associated sediments northern Colombia reveal the existence of Middle Miocene (13–14 Ma) mafic volcanism within a continental margin setting usually considered as amagmatic. This basaltic volcanism is characterized by relatively high Al2O3 and Na2O values (>15%), a High-K calc-alkaline affinity, large ion lithophile enrichment and associated Nb, Ta and Ti negative anomalies which resemble High Al basalts formed by low degree of asthenospheric melting at shallow depths mixed with some additional slab input. The presence of pre-Cretaceous detrital zircons, tourmaline and rutile as well as biostratigraphic results suggest that the host sedimentary rocks were deposited in a platform setting within the South American margin. New results of P-wave residuals from northern Colombia reinforce the view of a Caribbean slab subducting under the South American margin.The absence of a mantle wedge, the upper plate setting, and proximity of this magmatism to the trench, together with geodynamic constraints suggest that the subducted Caribbean oceanic plate was fractured and a slab tear was formed within the oceanic plate. Oceanic plate fracturing is related to the splitting of the subducting Caribbean Plate due to simultaneous subduction under the Panama-Choco block and northwestern South America, and the fast overthrusting of the later onto the Caribbean oceanic plate.  相似文献

对赣东北蛇绿混杂岩带相关地层的时代、沉积相和接触关系等方面认识的重大分歧,导致对华南地质演化史的不同解释。混杂岩的深成岩块体的同位素年龄数据大都在900~1000Ma之间,伴生的火山-沉积岩系(登山群)中却有古生代微体化石发现,但化石的确切年代尚难确定。古地理分析表明,赣东北地区早古生代并不存在“江南古陆”,却有深水的江南海盆。华南晚奥陶世火山碎屑沉积广泛分布,但来源不明,赣东北有可能为当时喷发中心,形成于火山岛弧环境的登山群正好与之匹配。因而,其时代可能为晚奥陶世。志留纪早期江南海盆封闭,扬子地块和华夏地块之间形成加里东褶皱带,赣东北蛇绿岩带为加里东褶皱带和华夏地块之间的接合带。这里扬子地块和华夏地块的距离最近,挤压程度高,抬升幅度大,剥蚀时间长,早古生代沉积不易保存,登山群可能是残留部分。  相似文献

Podozamites(苏铁杉属)为松柏类已灭绝的形态属,是北半球中生代植物群中的重要分子。经鉴定,甘肃北山地区早白垩世早期地层中产出的Podozamites包括Podozamites sp.(苏铁杉未定种)、Podozamites aff. distans(间离苏铁杉相似种)和Podozamites bullus(美丽苏铁杉)3个种。基于Podozamites大化石记录和古地理分布特征,结合中生代古气候分区,对该属的古气候意义进行综合分析。结果表明: 晚三叠世—中侏罗世,Podozamites数量较为丰富,主要集中分布于北半球温暖湿润气候区; 晚侏罗世—早白垩世,随着干热气候带的扩张,Podozamites丰度下降,分布区域也随温热潮湿气候区变迁而发生迁移。推测Podozamites在中生代的古地理分布主要受到温暖潮湿气候带变迁的影响,其更加适宜生存于温暖湿润的气候条件下,可作为温暖湿润气候的指示分子。  相似文献

中国南方是指西至金沙江-元江断裂、西北至龙门山断裂、北至城口-房县-襄樊-广济断裂,东北至郯城-庐江断裂,东至黄海和东海,南至南海的中国南方的广大地区。面积约2 000 000 km2 。在露头剖面和钻井部面的地层学和岩石学研究所取得的各种定量及定性资料的基础上,采用单因素分析综合作图法,编制出了中国南方下奥陶统新厂阶和宁国阶的各种单因素图以及相应的新厂期和宁国期岩相古地理图。在这两幅古地理图中,有7个主要的古地理单元,即滇西台地、康滇陆、扬子台地、斜坡、江南盆地、东南台地和华夏陆。前5个古地理单元属康滇古地理体系,后两个古地理单元属华夏古地理体系。这两幅古地理图的最大特征是定量,即每个古地理单元的划分和确定都有确切的定量的单因素图为依据和数据为依据。这种定量的岩相古地理图在我国南方早奥陶世还是首次出现。这种定量岩相古地理图在古地理学中是个重大的进展,对石油、天然气以及其他沉积矿的预测和勘探有重要的指导作用。  相似文献

Devonian reef complexes were well developed in Western Australia and South China, but no detailed direct comparison has been made between reef building in the two regions. The regions differ in several respects, including tectonic, stratigraphic and palaeoceanographic–palaeogeographic settings, and the reef building styles reflect minor differences in reef builders and reef facies. Similarities and differences between the two reef complexes provide insights into the characteristics of platform margins, reef facies and microbial carbonates of both regions. Here we present a comparison of platform margin types from different stratigraphic positions in the Late Devonian reef complex of the Canning Basin, Western Australia and Middle and Late Devonian margin to marginal slope successions in Guilin, South China. Comparisons are integrated into a review of the reefal stratigraphy of both regions. Reef facies, reef complex architecture, temporal reef builder associations, 2nd order stratigraphy and platform cyclicity in the two regions were generally similar where the successions overlap temporally. However, carbonate deposition began earlier in South China. Carbonate complexes were also more widespread in South China and represent a thicker succession overall. Platforms in the Canning Basin grew directly on Precambrian crystalline basement or early Palaeozoic sedimentary rocks, but in South China, carbonate complexes developed conformably on older Devonian siliciclastic strata. Pre-Frasnian reef facies in South China had more abundant skeletal frameworks than in Canning Basin reefs of equivalent age, and Famennian shoaling margins containing various microbial reefs may have been more common and probably more diverse in South China. However, Late Devonian platform margin types have been documented more completely in the Canning Basin. Deep intra-platform troughs (deep depressions containing non-carbonate pelagic sediments — Nandan-type successions) that developed along syndepositional faults characterize Devonian carbonate platforms in South China, but have no equivalent on the Lennard Shelf, Canning Basin where inter-reef areas were more shallow. The South China platform-to-depression pattern was generally continuous from the Lower to Upper Devonian, indicating that many pre-Devonian tectonic features continued to exercise considerable effect through deposition. Localized, fault-controlled subsidence was an important factor in both regions, but similarities in 2nd order aggradation–progradation cycles suggest that eustasy was also an important control on the larger scale stratigraphic development of both regions.  相似文献

华南地区众多埃迪卡拉纪—寒武纪特异埋藏化石库为解读生命和生态系统的演化提供了重要化石证据,其中宏体藻类产出数量多、分布广、形态多样,是该时期生态系统中不可忽视的组成部分。过去对华南宏体藻类的研究多集中于形态、分类和古生态方面,对于其不同时期的地理分布和多样性变化较少涉及。文中对华南埃迪卡拉纪—寒武纪特异埋藏化石库中的宏体藻类进行了总结和分析,结果发现:(1)至晚埃迪卡拉世,宏体藻类的古地理分布范围和属、种级多样性明显扩大和提高,在晚埃迪卡拉世第五期达到顶峰;(2)寒武纪纽芬兰世宏体藻类的地理分布范围和属、种级多样性均较低,至第二世则明显扩大和增加;(3)苗岭世之后,宏体藻类古地理分布大幅度缩小,但多样性显著升高并达到第二高峰,直到芙蓉世多样性又急剧下降。推测区域海水含氧量的增加可能是导致华南宏体藻类繁盛(属、种多样性高)的主要原因,适合宏体藻类保存的泥页岩的分布范围或出露面积则可能是影响宏体藻类古地理分布范围的重要因素。  相似文献

In the Grands Causses, incised valleys, lapies, fissures and sinkholes inherited from successive polyphase karstifications were filled by Palaeocene marine sediments overall assigned to the P1c–P3 interval (Upper Danian–Lower Selandian). These sediments are distributed into three detritic facies, generated by extensional tectonics controlling karstic and erosional processes. Upper Cretaceous marine fossils known within these facies are interpreted as reworked from hypothetically pellicular deposits. The probable palaeogeographic connection with the Pyrenean Palaeocene ‘Breccia trough’ supposes the presence of a SE–NW ‘ria’ running across the continental areas of Lower Languedoc and draining towards the northwest the marine waters of the Palaeocene transgression as far as the Rodez region. The Albian–Maastrichtian seismic horizon analysis in central Tunisia (Gafsa–Sidi Bouzid area) using the reflection seismic sections calibrated to the well data, shows buried structures with deposit distributions and sedimentation geometries varying from the depressive to uplifted zones. Pinch outs, unconformities and hiatuses recognized on the folded high structures are caused by reactivation of the bordering faults. The Turonian–Maastrichtian unconformities correspond to the palaeogeographic limits that outline the Kasserine Islets and correspond to the N120, N180 major wrench-salt-intruded corridors and associated N90, N60 strike-slip faults. Formation of the different structures and evolution of the basins and platforms were controlled by conjugate dextral and sinistral strike-slip movements. The Mid-Tertiary (Mid-Eocene to earliest Miocene) Misis–Andırın Complex documents tectonic-sedimentary processes affecting the northerly, active margin of the South Tethys (Neotethys) in the easternmost Mediterranean region. Each of three orogenic segments, Misis (in the SW), Andırın (central) and Engizek (in the NE) represent parts of an originally continuous active continental margin. A structurally lower Volcanic-Sedimentary Unit includes Late Cretaceous arc-related extrusives and their Lower Tertiary pelagic cover. This unit is interpreted as an Early Tertiary remnant of the Mesozoic South Tethys. The overlying melange unit is dominated by tectonically brecciated blocks (>100 m across) of Mesozoic neritic limestone that were derived from the Tauride carbonate platform to the north, together with accreted ophiolitic material. The melange matrix comprises polymict debris flows, high- to low-density turbidites and minor hemipelagic sediments.The Misis–Andırın Complex is interpreted as an accretionary prism related to the latest stages of northward subduction of the South Tethys and diachronous continental collision of the Tauride (Eurasian) and Arabian (African) plates during Mid-Eocene to earliest Miocene time. Slivers of Upper Cretaceous oceanic crust and its Early Tertiary pelagic cover were accreted, while blocks of Mesozoic platform carbonates slid from the overriding plate. Tectonic mixing and sedimentary recycling took place within a trench. Subduction culminated in large-scale collapse of the overriding (northern) margin and foundering of vast blocks of neritic carbonate into the trench. A possible cause was rapid roll back of dense downgoing Mesozoic oceanic crust, such that the accretionary wedge taper was extended leading to gravity collapse. Melange formation was terminated by underthrusting of the Arabian plate from the south during earliest Miocene time.Collision was diachronous. In the east (Engizek Range and SE Anatolia) collision generated a Lower Miocene flexural basin infilled with turbidites and a flexural bulge to the south. Miocene turbiditic sediments also covered the former accretionary prism. Further west (Misis Range) the easternmost Mediterranean remained in a pre-collisional setting with northward underthrusting (incipient subduction) along the Cyprus arc. The Lower Miocene basins to the north (Misis and Adana) indicate an extensional (to transtensional) setting. The NE–SW linking segment (Andırın) probably originated as a Mesozoic palaeogeographic offset of the Tauride margin. This was reactivated by strike-slip (and transtension) during Later Tertiary diachronous collision. Related to on-going plate convergence the former accretionary wedge (upper plate) was thrust over the Lower Miocene turbiditic basins in Mid–Late Miocene time. The Plio-Quaternary was dominated by left-lateral strike-slip along the East Anatolian transform fault and also along fault strands cutting the Misis–Andırın Complex.  相似文献

Similar lithological and tectonic features indicate that Timor and Sulawesi islands were part of the same continental block. Timor was in the southern part of Sulawesi, then separated during Late Miocene time during the opening of the South Banda Sea basin. At this time Timor evolved as a part of an Upper Miocene volcanic arc that collided the Australian plate at the end of the Lower Pliocene (3.5 Ma). To cite this article: M. Villeneuve et al., C. R. 海泡石(sepiolite)是很有发展前途的一门新兴矿种,是当今世界上用途很广的非金属矿物原料之一。在石油、油脂、酿造、轻工、化工、医药、国防、农牧业、环保、橡胶、涂料以及深井钻探泥浆等方面都有应用,就目前所知,其用途广达130余种,随着科学技术的发展,其用途还将不断地扩大。由于海泡石具有特殊的晶体结构、较好的纤维性质、较高的负电动电位、低的比磁化率,以及一定的耐酸碱腐蚀性、过滤性、阳离子交换性及吸附性等,因而世界上许多国家已越来越重视该矿物的找矿、开发和应用。我国在海泡石的找矿方面已有较大的进展,已找到海泡石矿床(点)五十余处,其中大型矿床六个,分布在江西、湖南、陕西等省。与四川邻近的陕西宁强、湖南石门陈家湾等都是大  相似文献

The Guole biota contains common shelly fossils and some exceptionally well-preserved soft-bodied fossils. Stratigraphically, it is located in the mudstones and siltstones of the Sandu Formation near Guole Town, Jingxi County, Guangxi, South China. It is the first Furongian (late Cambrian) Burgess Shale-type biota found in the world, thereby filling the gap between middle Cambrian and Lower Ordovician Burgess Shale-type Lagerst?tten. Preliminary studies suggest that the Guole biota includes approximately seven metazoan groups as well as algae. These will provide important new evolutionary and ecological information.  相似文献

研究西伯利亚西部白垩纪沉积层的孢粉可以建立孢粉组合的参照序列。本文运用采自海相剖面的材料与菊石化石带进行对比,建立了下白垩统和上白垩统一些层位中的孢粉化石带。这些新确立的孢粉组合层序反映了白垩纪孢粉植物群的演化阶段。由于生物相和古地理特征的变化,孢粉组合在横向上变化较大,很难依据孢粉资料进行地区间的精确对比。然而,有些孢粉组合演化发展的总体趋势能用于对比、定义部分地层层位。  相似文献
