文章介绍了怀柔太阳观测基地最近完成的一套实时高分辨太阳磁场观测系统。系统采用局部相关跟踪算法来提高磁场观测数据的空间分辨率,同时对相关跟踪算法的实现程序进行了优化以满足常规太阳磁场观测的要求。通过对试观测和常规观测数据的分析,我们发现:1)该系统能够大大提高单色像、磁场数据的对比度和空间分辨率;2)对相关跟踪算法的优化大大提高了系统的时间分辨率,系统可以投入常规观测使用。  相似文献

An unbiased method for improving the resolution of astronomical images is presented. The strategy at the core of this method is to establish a linear transformation between the recorded image and an improved image at some desirable resolution. In order to establish this transformation only the actual point spread function and a desired point spread function need be known. No image actually recorded is used in establishing the linear transformation between the recorded and improved image.
This method has a number of advantages over other methods currently in use. It is not iterative, which means it is not necessary to impose any criteria, objective or otherwise, to stop the iterations. The method does not require an artificial separation of the image into 'smooth' and 'point-like' components, and thus is unbiased with respect to the character of structures present in the image. The method produces a linear transformation between the recorded image and the deconvolved image, and therefore the propagation of pixel-by-pixel flux error estimates into the deconvolved image is trivial. It is explicitly constrained to preserve photometry and should be robust against random errors.  相似文献

A new technique is presented for producing images from interferometric data. The method, 'smear fitting', makes the constraints necessary for interferometric imaging double as a model, with uncertainties, of the sky brightness distribution. It does this by modelling the sky with a set of functions and then convolving each component with its own elliptical Gaussian to account for the uncertainty in its shape and location that arises from noise. This yields much sharper resolution than clean for significantly detected features, without sacrificing any sensitivity. Using appropriate functional forms for the components provides both a scientifically interesting model and imaging constraints that tend to be better than those used by traditional deconvolution methods. This allows it to avoid the most serious problems that limit the imaging quality of those methods. Comparisons of smear fitting to clean and maximum entropy are given, using both real and simulated observations. It is also shown that the famous Rayleigh criterion (resolution = wavelength/baseline) is inappropriate for interferometers as it does not consider the reliability of the measurements.  相似文献

针对LAMOST (Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope)2维光谱图像数据,对6种抽谱算法进行了分析与比较.比较的算法包括孔径法、轮廓拟合法、直接反卷积方法、基于Tikhonov正则化的反卷积抽谱算法、基于自适应Landweber迭代的反卷积抽谱算法以及基于Richardson-Lucy迭代的反卷积抽谱算法.通过实验对这些算法在信噪比和分辨率两个方面进行了比较,发现基于Tikhonov正则化的反卷积抽谱算法、基于自适应Landweber迭代的反卷积抽谱算法以及基于RichardsonLucy迭代的反卷积抽谱算法是6种算法中最为可靠的3种抽谱算法.最后,对今后的工作进行了展望.  相似文献

观测资料的平滑处理,是数据分析中一类重要的常用方法,平滑处理的目的,在于既保留资料中的主要有用信号,又消除或削弱随机误差,本文对密集采样时序资料,提出了时间窗平滑法,并以光谱和光电测量资料为例,通过分析PDM技术中拟合曲线的计算,说明了它的性质与应用,与高斯权函数平滑法相比,此方法计算简便,且有更明确的物理意义,与观测值多点合并法相比,有更好的采样一致性和避免损失实际的分辨率,当用于等间距时序资料  相似文献

本文给出了全球VLBI网50cm数据成图再处理的部分结果.样本包括5个CSS射电源:3C43、3C138、3C186、3C216和3C237.为了便于比较,同时给出了二次成图处理后的图象.通过对这些源的形态描述,并且通过与其它波段高分辨率图的对照,核实了再处理图上各子源的位置,这些低频观测细节,对更好地了解CSS源的本质无疑是十分有益的。  相似文献

High angular resolution X-ray imaging is always useful in astrophysics and solar physics. In principle, it can be performed by using coded-mask imaging with a very long mask-detector distance. Previously, the diffraction-interference effect was thought to degrade coded-mask imaging performance dramatically at the low energy end with its very long mask-detector distance. The diffraction-interference effect is described with numerical calculations, and the difffraction-interference cross correlation reconstruction method (DICC) is developed in order to overcome the imaging performance degradation. Based on the DICC, a super-high angular resolution principle (SHARP) for coded-mask X-ray imaging is proposed. The feasibility of coded mask imaging beyond the diffraction limit of a single pinhole is demonstrated with simulations. With the specification that the mask element size is 50 × 50 μm2 and the mask-detector distance is 50 m, the achieved angular resolution is 0.32arcsec above about 10keV and 0.36arcsec at 1.24keV (λ = 1 nm), where diffraction cannot be neglected. The on-axis source location accuracy is better than 0.02 arcsec. Potential applications for solar observations and wide-field X-ray monitors are also briefly discussed.  相似文献

In this work we attempt to obtain direct images of the crater associated with the impact of the Deep Impact impactor spacecraft on the nucleus of Comet 9P/Tempel 1 on July 4, 2005. The impact generated a large and bright ejecta cloud that hampers the clear view of the post-impact nucleus surface. We used image restoration techniques to enhance spatial resolution and contrast on a subset of selected post-impact high resolution images. No unambiguous evidence for the crater can be found; however, indirect evidence is consistent with a crater size in the 150-200 m range.  相似文献

地基望远镜在成像过程中,由于受大气湍流、望远镜静态像差、跟踪误差、指向误差及视场变化的影响,不同视场区域的PSF (Point Spread Function)具有差异;同时,不同望远镜获取的图像PSF也存在差异.将多个望远镜获取的星象直接叠加至相同的区域后,图像质量受像质最差的望远镜限制,最终观测分辨率和灵敏度均会受到影响.通过图像复原,可以提高图像质量,进而提高叠加效果.根据该思路提出了1种基于PSF分区的迭代图像复原方法:该方法首先通过SOM (Self-organizing Maps)对PSF进行聚类分析,利用同类别PSF的平均PSF进行反卷积,再将反卷积结果按PSF聚类结果分割为不同大小的子图,最后将子图进行拼接.图像复原在提高图像质量的同时,降低了PSF不一致性对图像叠加带来的影响.将几个望远镜在同一时刻获取的图像经反卷积处理之后利用图像配准算法进行矫正并叠加,可获得高信噪比图像.对实际望远镜获取的数据处理后的结果表明:图像在进行复原和叠加过程中,星象目标信噪比不断提升,提高了成像系统对暗星的探测能力.  相似文献

Due to the atmospheric turbulence, the static aberration, tracking and pointing errors of telescopes, the point spread functions (PSFs) in different fields of view are different. Meanwhile, there are different PSFs in the images obtained by different telescopes. The quality of co-adding image is limited by the image with the poorest quality, and finally the resolution and sensitivity of the quad-channel telescope will also be affected. Dividing the image into some regions with the same type of PSF, and deconvolving these regions can improve the quality of the co-adding image. According to this theory, an image restoration algorithm based on the PSF clustering is proposed. Firstly, this paper makes the PSF clustering analysis by using Self-Organizing Maps, and makes the image segmentation based on the result of the PSF clustering analysis, then using the clustered PSFs to make deconvolutions on the sub-images. Then, the restored sub-images after deconvolution are joined together. Finally, by through the image registration and co-adding, the image with a high signal to noise ratio can be obtained. The result shows that the signal to noise ratio of the astronomical images are improved with our method, and the detection capability on faint stars is also improved.  相似文献

Radio interferometry significantly improves the resolution of observed images, and the final result also relies heavily on data recovery. The Cotton-Schwab CLEAN(CS-Clean) deconvolution approach is a widely used reconstruction algorithm in the field of radio synthesis imaging. However, parameter tuning for this algorithm has always been a difficult task. Here, its performance is improved by considering some internal characteristics of the data. From a mathematical point of view, a peak signal-to-noise-based(PSNRbased) method was introduced to optimize the step length of the steepest descent method in the recovery process. We also found that the loop gain curve in the new algorithm is a good indicator of parameter tuning.Tests show that the new algorithm can effectively solve the problem of oscillation for a large fixed loop gain and provides a more robust recovery.  相似文献

星系的结构和形态能够反映星系自身的物理性质,其形态的分类是后续分析研究的一个重要环节.EfficientNet模型使用复合系数对深度网络模型的深度、宽度、输入图像分辨率进行更加结构化的统一缩放,是一种新的深度网络优化扩展方法.将该模型应用于星系数据形态的分类研究中,结果表明基于EfficientNetB5模型的平均准确率、精确率、召回率以及F1分数(精确率与召回率的调和平均数)都在96.6%以上,与残差网络(Residual network, ResNet)中ResNet-26模型的分类结果相比有较大的提升.实验结果证明EfficientNet的深度网络优化扩展方法可行且有效,可应用于星系的形态分类.  相似文献

We present the first tests of a new method, the correlated component analysis (CCA) based on second-order statistics, to estimate the mixing matrix, a key ingredient to separate astrophysical foregrounds superimposed to the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). In the present application, the mixing matrix is parametrized in terms of the spectral indices of Galactic synchrotron and thermal dust emissions, while the free–free spectral index is prescribed by basic physics, and is thus assumed to be known. We consider simulated observations of the microwave sky with angular resolution and white stationary noise at the nominal levels for the Planck satellite, and realistic foreground emissions, with a position-dependent synchrotron spectral index. We work with two sets of Planck frequency channels: the low-frequency set, from 30 to 143 GHz, complemented with the Haslam 408 MHz map, and the high-frequency set, from 217 to 545 GHz. The concentration of intense free–free emission on the Galactic plane introduces a steep dependence of the spectral index of the global Galactic emission with Galactic latitude, close to the Galactic equator. This feature makes difficult for the CCA to recover the synchrotron spectral index in this region, given the limited angular resolution of Planck , especially at low frequencies. A cut of a narrow strip around the Galactic equator  (| b | < 3°)  , however, allows us to overcome this problem. We show that, once this strip is removed, the CCA allows an effective foreground subtraction, with residual uncertainties inducing a minor contribution to errors on the recovered CMB power spectrum.  相似文献

Many important techniques for investigating the properties of extragalactic radio sources, such as spectral-index and rotation-measure mapping, involve the comparison of images at two or more frequencies. In the case of radio interferometric data, this can be done by comparing the CLEAN maps obtained at the different frequencies. However, intrinsic differences in images due to the frequency dependence of the radio emission can be distorted by additional differences that arise due to source variability (if the data to be compared are obtained at different times), image misalignment, and the frequency dependence of the sensitivity to weak emission and the angular resolution provided by the observations (the resolution of an interferometer depends on the lengths of its baselines in units of the observing wavelength). These effects must be corrected for as best as possible before multifrequency data comparison techniques can be applied. We consider the origins for the aforementioned factors, outline the standard techniques used to overcome these difficulties, and describe in detail a technique developed by us, based on the cross-correlation technique widely used in other fields, to correct for misalignments between maps at different frequencies.  相似文献

The Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) has provided the highest spatial resolution (100 m/pixel) thermal infrared (TIR) data of the surface of Mars to date. These data have enabled the discovery of many small-scale compositional units and helped to better constrain surface processes operating at these scales. However, with higher-resolution visible (VIS) instruments revealing smaller-scale surficial differences, there exists a need to detect and map compositional variability using TIR data at scales below 100 m. Because it is unlikely there will be a higher-resolution TIR instrument sent to Mars in the near future, creative image processing techniques commonly classified under the umbrella of “super-resolution” can be employed to improve or enhance the spatial resolution of the THEMIS TIR data. These approaches typically integrate another higher-resolution dataset and can either be qualitative for visual appeal, quantitative for data accuracy, or some combination of both. The super-resolution approach presented here produces enhanced TIR images that are radiometrically accurate, but also visually appealing. For the technique to be successfully applied, multi- to hyper-spectral data from two different spectral regions are required (e.g., the THEMIS TIR and VIS datasets). The focus here is to introduce this new super-resolution methodology and demonstrate its ability using existing THEMIS IR and VIS data. The quartzofeldspathic deposit in northern Syrtis Major was selected because of the spectral variability detected using the original IR resolution data and to better constrain the relationship between the small-scale surface morphology and areal extent of the deposit as well as its formation process. Despite being associated with the central peaks of two craters, the results here show no positive correlation between the small rocky outcrops and the quartzofeldspathic unit. A gradational contact exists between the unit and basaltic sands within the intercrater eolian material. The super-resolution approach offers an alternative approach to traditional sub-pixel deconvolution identification and provides a higher-resolution IR dataset for thermophysical and spectral analysis on Mars.  相似文献

We have initiated a new study into the Far Infrared properties of Active Galaxies. We use several samples of AGNs and try to get as clean IRAS fluxes as possible by inspecting the raw IRAS data. Using high resolution images enables us to resolve galaxies that are confused in the IRAS Point Source Catalogue and IRAS Faint Source Survey.  相似文献

A model of the shape of Toutatis based on “high-resolution” radar images obtained in 1992 and 1996 consists of 39,996 triangular facets of roughly equal area, defined by the locations of 20,000 vertices. These define the average spatial resolution of the model as approximately 34 m, significantly finer than Hudson and Ostro’s (1995, Science 270, 84-86) model (1600 vertices, resolution 84 m). The high-resolution model reveals complex linear features as well as circular crater-like structures down to the resolution limit. There is a dichotomy between the gravitational slope distributions on the asteroid’s two lobes. The noncraterlike features may be the manifestation of complex interior configurations involving monolithic fragments with various sizes and shapes, presumably due to collisions in various energy regimes. However, it may be impossible to decipher the interior structure and responsible collisional history of Toutatis and other small objects without extended, intensive, direct examination.  相似文献

A number of methods for studying the large-scale cosmic matter distribution exist in the literature. One particularly common method employed to define the cosmic web is to examine the density, velocity or potential field. Such methods are advantageous since a Hessian matrix can be constructed whose eigenvectors (and eigenvalues) indicate the principal directions (and strength) of local collapse or expansion. Technically this is achieved by diagonalizing the Hessian matrix using a fixed finite grid. The resultant large-scale structure quantification is thus inherently limited by the grid’s finite resolution. Here, we overcome the obstacle of finite grid resolution by introducing a new method to determine halo environment using an adaptive interpolation which is more robust to resolution than the typical “Nearest Grid Point” (NGP) method. Essentially instead of computing and diagonalizing the Hessian matrix once for the entire grid, we suggest doing so once for each halo or galaxy in question. We examine how the eigenvalues and eigenvector direction’s computed using our algorithm and the NGP method converge for different grid resolutions, finding that our new method is convergent faster. Namely changes of resolution have a much smaller effect than in the NGP method. We therefore suggest this method for future use by the community.  相似文献
