A five dimensional Kaluza-Klein dark energy model with variable EoS parameter is investigated in the scale co-variant theory of gravitation proposed by Canuto et al. (in Phys. Rev. 39:429, 1977) in a five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time in the presence of perfect fluid source. Using the special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter proposed by Berman (in Nuovo Cimento B 74:183, 1983), we have obtained a determinate solution which represents a dark energy cosmological model in the theory. We have also used the result that the scalar expansion is proportional to shear scalar of the space-time. It is observed that the EoS parameter, skewness parameter in the model turn out to be functions of cosmic time. Some physical and Kinematical properties of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

A Five dimensional spherically symmetric space-time model in Rosen's (1973) bimetric theory of gravitation is considered. It is shown that, in this theory, the geometry of the five dimensional space-time does not admit perfect fluid source. Hence a vacuum model is presented and studied. It is observed that in the case of stiff fluid we again get the vacuum model. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

A five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time is considered in the presence of prefect fluid source in the general scalar-tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Nordtvedt (Astrophys. J. 161:1069, 1970) with the help of special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter given by Bermann (Nuovo Cimento 74B:182, 1983). A cosmological model with a negative constant deceleration parameter is obtained in this theory. Some physical properties of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

Hawking’s radiation effect of Klein-Gordon scalar field, Dirac particles and Maxwell’s electromagnetic field in the non-stationary rotating de Sitter cosmological space-time is investigated by using a method of generalized tortoise co-ordinates transformation. The locations and the temperatures of the cosmological horizons of the non-stationary rotating de Sitter model are derived. It is found that the locations and the temperatures of the rotating cosmological model depend not only on the time but also on the angle. The stress-energy regularization techniques are applied to the two dimensional analog of the de Sitter metrics and the calculated stress-energy tensor contains the thermal radiation effect.  相似文献

Exact solutions are obtained in a five-dimensional space-time with an energy-momentum tensor containing a viscous fluid, assuming either an equation of state or a special form for the viscous term in line with the assumption of Belinskii and Khalatnikov (1977). The solutions are, in fact, generalizations of an earlier work by Grøn for a perfect fluid in the 5D rest-mass varying theory of gravity proposed recently by Wesson. It is found that dimensional reduction of the extra space takes place in some of the cases such that the 5-dimensional universe naturally evolves into an effective 4-dimensional one. A huge amount of entropy can be produced following this shrinkage of extra-dimension which may account for the very large value of entropy per baryon observed in our 4D world. Moreover, the observed constancy of the rest-mass in the present era is also interpreted.  相似文献

We present results of investigations into chromospheric velocity oscillations in sunspots, carried out at the Sayan Solar Observatory. It is shown that the “chevron” structures in the space-time diagrams demonstrate wavetrain properties. Such structures are indicators of a propagating wave process and they are typical of many sunspots. In the authors’ opinion, three-minute umbral oscillations are not the source of running penumbral waves (RPW). It is very likely that umbral oscillations and RPW initially propagate along different magnetic field lines. We explain the decrease in RPW propagation velocity and frequency in the outer penumbra, as compared with the inner, by the combined action of different frequency modes. To better reveal the properties of these modes, frequency filtering was used. Our measurements of the RPW (five-minute mode) wavelength and RPW propagation velocity in different sunspots vary from 12 to 30 and from 28 to 60 – 70 km s−1 correspondingly.  相似文献

A special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter is presented in a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-I space-time that yields a constant value of deceleration parameter. Using the law of variation for Hubble’s parameter, exact solutions of Einstein’s field equations are obtained for Bianchi-I space-time filled with perfect fluid in two different cases where the universe exhibits power-law and exponential expansion. It is found that the solutions are consistent with the recent observations of type Ia supernovae. A detailed study of physical and kinematical properties of the models is carried out.  相似文献

Bianchi Type-V bulk viscous fluid string dust cosmological model in General Relativity is investigated. It has been shown that if coefficient of bulk viscosity (ζ) is inversely proportional to the expansion (θ) in the model then string cosmological model for Bianchi Type-V space-time is possible. In absence of bulk viscosity (ζ), i.e. when ζ → 0, then there is no string cosmological model for Bianchi Type-V space-time. The physical and geometrical aspects of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes a new 2D model for the photospheric evolution of the magnetic carpet. It is the first in a series of papers working towards constructing a realistic 3D non-potential model for the interaction of small-scale solar magnetic fields. In the model, the basic evolution of the magnetic elements is governed by a supergranular flow profile. In addition, magnetic elements may evolve through the processes of emergence, cancellation, coalescence and fragmentation. Model parameters for the emergence of bipoles are based upon the results of observational studies. Using this model, several simulations are considered, where the range of flux with which bipoles may emerge is varied. In all cases the model quickly reaches a steady state where the rates of emergence and cancellation balance. Analysis of the resulting magnetic field shows that we reproduce observed quantities such as the flux distribution, mean field, cancellation rates, photospheric recycle time and a magnetic network. As expected, the simulation matches observations more closely when a larger, and consequently more realistic, range of emerging flux values is allowed (4×1016 – 1019 Mx). The model best reproduces the current observed properties of the magnetic carpet when we take the minimum absolute flux for emerging bipoles to be 4×1016 Mx. In future, this 2D model will be used as an evolving photospheric boundary condition for 3D non-potential modeling.  相似文献

Linear and nonlinear analysis of low frequency magnetoacoustic waves propagating at an angle θ with the ambient magnetic field are investigated in dense electron-positron-ion (e-p-i) plasmas using the quantum magnetohydrodynamic (QMHD) model. In this regard, a quantum Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-Burgers (KPB) equation is derived in the small amplitude limit. The stability of KPB equation is also presented. The variation of the nonlinear fast and slow magnetoacoustic shock waves with the positron concentration, kinematic viscosity, obliqueness parameter θ, and the magnetic field, are also investigated. It is observed that the aforementioned plasma parameters significantly modify the propagation characteristics of two dimensional nonlinear magnetoacoustic shock waves in dissipative quantum magnetoplasmas. The relevance of the present investigation with regard to dense astrophysical environments is also pointed out.  相似文献

This is the second paper of the series where we have considered Brans-Dicke (B-D) theory as well as general scalar tensor theory of gravitation in higher dimensional space-time model in the false vacuum state. We have examined whether inflationary solutions are possible both for constant or variable coupling parameter ω. Also the nature of the scalar field and the coupling parameter are discussed in the asymptotic limit. The exact higher dimensional solutions of Einstein-Maxwell field equations for spherically symmetric distribution of charged perfect fluid are obtained by using the method originally used by Hajj-Boutros and Sfeila (Gen. Relativ. Gravit. 18(4):395, 1986) for four-dimensional space-time. The new exact solutions have been generated from those of Khadekar et al. (J. Indian Math. Soc. 68(1–4):33, 2001), Humi and Mansour (Phys. Rev. D 29(6):1076, 1984) and Banerjee and Santos (J. Math. Phys. 22(4):824, 1981) in the frame work of higher dimensional space-time. The various physical properties are also discussed.  相似文献

Theoretical model, explaining a phenomenon of formation of Intensive Magnetic Flux Tube (IMFT) in a converging flow of partially ionized solar photospheric plasma is considered. Special attention is paid to the fact of weak ionization (n/n n ∼ 10-4) of plasma in the photosphere. The cases of 2D magnetic slab and cylindric magnetic tube are considered. It was shown that in a converging flow of photospheric plasma thin magnetic tubes, or slabs with the characteristic scale L 0 ∼ (1 ÷ 5) ċ 107 cm and magnetic field 1000 ÷ 2000 G can be generated. By this 2D magnetic slabs could be unstable with respect to an exchange instability and appear as an intermediate step during IMFT formation on the boundary of two supergranulation cells. Formation of compact strong magnetic field structures, and their energy balance are discussed. Stationary Joule energy dissipation taking place on the photospheric levels in the models of magnetic slab or IMFT under consideration increases towards the periphery of these objects and can exceed radiation looses. This can cause the occurrence of magnetic tubes with hot external envelopes, and modification of plasma temperature and density distribution, with respect to ones in a quiet atmosphere. It is shown that quantum vacuum fluctuations give rise to a curvature of space-time equivalent to a cosmological constant, that is a homogeneous energy density ρ and pressure p fulfilling −p=ρ>0. The fact that the fluctuations produce curvature, even if the vacuum expectation of the energy vanishes, is a consequence of the non-linear character of the Einstein equation. A calculation is made, involving plausible hypotheses within quantized gravity, which establishes a relation between the two-point correlation of the vacuum fluctuations and the space-time curvature. Arguments are given which suggest that the density ρ might be of order the “dark energy” density currently assumed to explain the observed accelerated expansion of the universe.  相似文献

Analysis of the Interball-1 spacecraft data (1995 – 2000) has shown that the solar wind ion flux sometimes increases or decreases abruptly by more than 20% over a time period of several seconds or minutes. Typically, the amplitude of such sharp changes in the solar wind ion flux (SCIFs) is larger than 0.5×108 cm−2 s−1. These sudden changes of the ion flux were also observed by the Solar Wind Experiment (SWE), on board the Wind spacecraft, as the solar wind density increases and decreases with negligible changes in the solar wind velocity. SCIFs occur irregularly at 1 AU, when plasma flows with specific properties come to the Earth’s orbit. SCIFs are usually observed in slow, turbulent solar wind with increased density and interplanetary magnetic field strength. The number of times SCIFs occur during a day is simulated using the solar wind density, magnetic field, and their standard deviations as input parameters for a period of five years. A correlation coefficient of ∼0.7 is obtained between the modelled and the experimental data. It is found that SCIFs are not associated with coronal mass ejections (CMEs), corotating interaction regions (CIRs), or interplanetary shocks; however, 85% of the sector boundaries are surrounded by SCIFs. The properties of the solar wind plasma for days with five or more SCIF observations are the same as those of the solar wind plasma at the sector boundaries. One possible explanation for the occurrence of SCIFs (near sector boundaries) is magnetic reconnection at the heliospheric current sheet or local current sheets. Other probable causes of SCIFs (inside sectors) are turbulent processes in the slow solar wind and at the crossings of flux tubes.  相似文献

A spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-III space-time is considered in the presence of bulk viscous fluid containing one dimensional cosmic strings in the frame work of f(R,T) gravity proposed by Harko et al. (Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011). To get a determinate solution of the field equations of this theory, we have used (i) a barotropic equation of state for the pressure and density and (ii) the bulk viscous pressure is proportional to the energy density. It is interesting to observe that, in this case, Bianchi type-III bulk viscous string cosmological model does not exist and degenerates into vacuum model of general relativity.  相似文献

A locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-II space-time is considered in the frame work of a modified theory of gravitation proposed by Harko et al. (Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011) when the source for energy momentum tensor is a bulk viscous fluid containing one dimensional cosmic strings. A barotropic equation of state is assumed to get a determinate solution of the field equations. Also, the bulk viscous pressure is assumed to be proportional to the energy density. The physical behavior of the model is also discussed.  相似文献
