近期长江北支口门圆陀角附近潮滩地貌动态变化   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
圆陀角位于长江北支岸线与江苏海岸线的交会处,独特的互花米草潮滩、淤泥质光滩环境和复杂的河海沉积动力,决定了潮滩地貌对海洋环境变化的响应具有敏感性。由于大规模的围垦,圆陀角附近过去40年来海岸线向东推进了6km。根据2006年以来多次的野外调查和室内粒度与钻孔岩芯的137Cs分析, 2006年以来圆陀角附近潮滩淤积明显加强,由137Cs时标估算的互花米草滩多年平均沉积速率为2.3cm/a, 2006~2008年观测到的互花米草滩淤积速率>4cm/a,粉砂淤泥质光滩的淤积速率更高;圆陀角风景区内互花米草滩前缘陡坎在风暴潮影响下侵蚀后退,并因粉砂淤泥质光滩的快速淤长而消亡,圆陀角附近潮滩地貌动态是对人类围垦活动、风暴潮与潮汐海洋动力的综合响应,互花米草与光滩快速淤积是近期圆陀角附近潮滩地貌演化的主要特点。  相似文献

盐沼前缘陡坎是潮滩环境中盐沼与粉砂—淤泥质光滩交界处的独特地貌形态,研究其形成过程与机理有助于理解盐沼湿地对潮滩发育及其稳定性的影响。根据江苏中部海岸盐城自然保护区核心岸段互花米草盐沼前缘陡坎形态参数(凹槽长度、凹槽宽度和陡坎高度)的分析,发现不同的形态参数组合对应于不同的陡坎演化阶段。根据陡坎形态特征差异,可将盐沼前缘陡坎韵律性形态发育过程分为三个阶段,而这三阶段的交替旋回过程与近岸波向的季节性变化有关。陡坎处的地貌特征与前缘光滩的沉积物特征表明陡坎形态特征形成与波浪作用有关,且显著的陡坎韵律性形态能够部分地应用边缘波理论来解释。  相似文献

The study area is a portion of a coastal community that is adjacent to a salt marsh and tidal creek. The developed area was built upon wetlands, and like the marsh, it floods during spring tides and strong coastal storms. Following floods, little visual evidence of sedimentation is in the built area, prompting the hypothesis that physical characteristics of coastal development limit sediment availability during floods and reduce deposition. Because the area floods from a tidal creek during the same events that lead to inundation of the adjacent high marsh, salt marshes are used as an analogue system for planning this research. Although salt marsh geomorphology is a starting point, people are endogenous actors at this site who influence geomorphic evolution by changing the flow of naturally occurring energy. Suspended sediment levels or deposition were measured during 10 flooding events. Water samples were collected from the tidal creek, at a catchbasin, at another location in the street, and in the Spartina patens marsh. Sediment is found to be delivered to the street in the same quantities and for the same duration as in the salt marsh. Suspended sediment levels are alike throughout the research area. The amount of sediment that accumulates following coastal floods was measured by placing samplers within the street and the marsh. Highly significant differences in sediment accumulation exist between the environments. After a flood event, much less sediment is deposited in the street than in the marsh.  相似文献

Characteristics and tidal flat trends of soil organic matter (SOM) turnover were studied for the Chongmingdongtan Salt Marsh in the Yangtze River estuary, based on analyses of stable carbon isotope composition (δ^13C), grain sizes and contents of particulate organic carbon (POC), total nitrogen (TN) and inorganic carbon (TIC) for three cores excavated from high tidal flat, middle tidal flat and bare flat. Results demonstrate that correlations between soil POC contents and δ^13C values of the salt marsh cores were similar to those between soil organic carbon (SOC) contents and δ^13C values of the upper soil layers of mountainous soil profiles with different altitudes. SOM of salt marsh was generally younger than 100 years, and originated mainly from topsoil erosions in catchments of the Yangtze River. Correlations of TN content with C/N ratio, POC content with TIC content and POC content with δ^13C values for the cores suggest that turnover degrees of SOM from the salt marsh are overall low, and trends of SOM turnover are clear from the bare flat to the high tidal flat. Bare flat samples show characteristics of original sediments, with minor SOM turnover. Turnover processes of SOM have occurred and are discernable in the high and middle tidal flats, and the mixing degrees of SOM compartments with different turnover rates increase with evolution of the muddy tidal flat. The exclusive strata structure of alternate muddy laminae and silty laminae originated from dynamic depositional processes on muddy tidal flat was a great obstacle to vertical migration of dissolved materials, and SOM turnover was then constrained. The muddy tidal flat processes exerted direct influences on sequestration and turnover of SOM in the salt marsh, and had great constraints on the spatial and temporal characteristics of SOM turnover of the Chongmingdongtan Salt Marsh in the Yangtze River estuary.  相似文献

为了更好地理解在潮水和植被交互作用梯度上有机质、全氮和全磷分布的特殊性,分别于生长季和非生长季在苏北盐沼沿近潮沟带和远潮沟带2条样线布设9个固定采样区,采集土壤样品,测定土壤有机质、全氮和全磷的含量。结果表明:植被和潮水的交互作用是决定土壤有机质、全氮和全磷时空变化的关键因素。相对于潮水,植被的影响更为稳定和持久;盐沼土壤有机质和全氮含量具有显著的空间和月份变化,空间变化主要包括植被带(潮水)梯度上和样带间(潮流)的差异,在植被带(潮水)梯度上植被带高于光滩,而植被带间呈现由海向陆的递减趋势,即互花米草(Spartina alterniflora)>盐地碱蓬(Suaeda salsa)>獐茅(Aeluropus littoralis)>芦苇( Phragmites australis);有机质样带间差异表现为在低位盐沼远潮沟带大于近潮沟带,而中位盐沼却是近潮沟带大于远潮沟带,全磷含量时间和空间变化上均不具显著性;pH、土壤含水量和盐分含量等与潮水作用直接相关的因子与距海距离呈负相关关系,土壤有机质、全氮和全磷与距海距离也表现为负相关关系,而土壤有机质、全氮和全磷含量与pH、土壤含水量及盐分含量等因子为正相关关系,一定程度上诠释了潮水对土壤有机质、全氮和全磷含量变化的影响。  相似文献

互花米草是我国从国外引进的能在淤泥质潮滩的高潮带下部和中潮带上部生长的禾木科植物,由于其植株高大、群落盖度高、根系发达等生物学特性,其对潮流动力特征有显著的影响。本文通过对江苏省东台市笆斗垦区外互花米草盐沼地的潮沟形态调查,发现互花米草盐沼潮沟具有以下一些特征:潮沟密度大,可达50km/km2以上;潮沟的宽深比小,大多在8以下;沿岸堤发育,且多呈不对称状;一级主潮沟与主潮沟接头处普遍呈逆弧形;盐沼外侧边缘发育有明显的陡坎冲沟。分析认为这些特征主要与互花米草发达的根系和致密的植株等生物学特性有关,发达的根系增加了盐沼滩面的稳定性,而互花米草高大的植株增加了对潮水运动的阻力,提高了滩面落潮水的归槽水位,改变了潮流的泥沙沉积地点和涨、落潮流的流向,从而形成比较特别的互花米草盐沼潮沟特征。  相似文献

通过对长江口崇明东滩高潮滩、中潮滩以及光滩柱状样的有机元素(C、N)含量与碳稳定同位素组成(δ13C)、粒度组成等的测定,研究盐沼土壤有机质更新特征及其滩面趋势.结果表明,长江口盐沼土壤POC-δ13C相关特征与山地土壤剖面上部土层的基本类似,盐沼土壤有机质主要源于长江流域表层土壤,有机质年龄不足100年.不同高程柱样TN-C/N、POC-TIC与POC-δ13C关系特征表明盐沼土壤有机质更新程度普遍较低,有机质更新特征呈明显的滩面变化趋势.光滩有机质基本反映沉积母质特征,更新程度极低;中、高潮滩有机质更新作用已经发生,随着滩面演变,处于不同更新阶段的有机质组分混杂程度提高.盐沼滩面过程塑造垂向沉积层序,层序中独特的沙、泥纹层构造导致物质上下运移困难,有机质更新作用受到抑制.盐沼滩面过程直接影响有机质的累积与更新,对于有机质更新的时空特征具有显著制约.  相似文献

收集1988~2001年12个时相的江苏盐城幅卫星影像,提取双洋河口至梁垛河闸之间的互花米草盐沼,统计不同时期的分布信息。分析表明:互花米草盐沼在江苏扩张非常迅速,到2001年7月互花米草盐沼分布面积达129.28km^2,从射阳河口至梁垛河闸之间的潮间中上带泥滩大部分已被互花米草盐沼所覆盖;由于生态位的影响,互花米草盐沼沿平行于海岸线方向扩张速度快于垂直于海岸线方向的扩张速度;依据野外调查和卫星影像分析,互花米草盐沼扩张可分为立地、快速扩张及成熟3个阶段。此外,还对互花米草盐沼的影响因素进行了探讨。  相似文献

Zonal patterns of salt marsh plants and physical conditions have been addressed primarily across the elevation gradient from inland to coastline rather than across tidal creeks in relation to their hydro-geomorphic processes such as bar formation and bank erosion. We found at a Danish marsh that by shaping major geomorphic features and providing sediments to the adjacent sites, fluvial-geomorphic processes of tidal creeks exert fundamental controls on the cross-channel distribution of abiotic and biotic factors. These results point to a need for biogeomorphic and landscape ecological perspectives to fully understand the underlying structure and geographic variability in salt marshes.  相似文献

对闽江河口芦苇(Phragmites australis)湿地土壤甲烷产生潜力及电子受体(硝酸盐,三价铁和硫酸盐)及盐分(氯化钠)输入对其的影响进行了厌氧培养实验及测定。结果表明,芦苇湿地土壤甲烷产生潜力范围是0.0202~0.0871 μg · g-1 · d-1,0~10 cm土壤甲烷产生潜力最大;电子受体及盐分的输入对土壤甲烷产生潜力具有抑制作用,3种电子受体对甲烷产生潜力抑制程度从大到小为硝酸盐>三价铁>硫酸盐,不同浓度硝酸盐与三价铁添加后甲烷产生潜力与对照土壤差异显著(P<0.05),而硫酸盐与盐分的添加抑制作用不显著,对于每一种电子受体及盐分其不同浓度处理对甲烷产生潜力的影响差异也不明显(P>0.05)。  相似文献

This paper examines the evolution of Pagham Harbour, southern England following storm-induced breaching of a protective barrier in AD 1910. Stratigraphic studies of sediments collected from intertidal areas show the presence of a distinct stratigraphic horizon in the northeast of Pagham Harbour at ca. 0 to +1.0 m ordnance datum (OD). Radiometric data indicate that this horizon is a ‘reclamation surface’ formed after land claim in AD 1846. Following marine flooding in AD 1910, sediment has accreted relatively rapidly (at a broadly constant rate of between 4 and 8 mm a−1), wave and/or tidal energy have decreased and extensive marshes have developed. An asymptotic reduction in sediment accretion rate through time, as predicted in various theoretical models of salt marsh accretion, is not observed. Over the entire Pagham Harbour area, the period between AD 1948 and AD 1986 has seen an average marsh loss of 0.0087 km2 a−1, which is relatively small in comparison with other more exposed sites in the local area. Historically breached sites such as Pagham Harbour are common around European coasts, and these provide important natural laboratories within which the medium-term (decadal to centennial) coastal response to barrier breaching, and to managed-realignment coastal protection schemes, can be assessed.  相似文献

The distribution of Sarcocornia pillansii (Moss) A.J. Scott was determined by water-table depth and electrical conductivity (EC) of the groundwater. Where the groundwater was accessible (<1.5 m) and had a low EC (<80 mS cm−1), S. pillansii extended its roots down to the water-table where a suitable water potential gradient was shown to exist between the soil and roots. In areas where the groundwater was too deep and/or hypersaline, the plants grew on hummocks. The unconfined aquifer below the floodplain is linked to the estuary and although diurnal tidal waves were dampened, water-table level fluctuations were recorded between tidal events. The complex geomorphology of the floodplain influences groundwater flow, in turn affecting the distribution of the salt marsh vegetation.  相似文献

We have monitored and analyzed, through remote sensing and ancillary field surveys, the rapid (O(1) year) development of a tidal network within a newly established artificial salt marsh in the Venice Lagoon. After the construction of the salt marsh, a network of volunteer creeks established themselves away from an artificially constructed main channel (with mean and maximum annual headward-growth rates of 11 m/yr and 18 m/yr, respectively). The rapid formation of this system of tidal creeks provides a unique opportunity to test the reliability of a model of tidal network initiation and development, previously proposed by the authors. The restored marsh presents the characteristics of a controlled environment analogous to a large-scale field laboratory, as it allows comparison of the morphologic features of real and simulated network structures under the reasonable assumption of neglecting accretion and deposition processes over the timescales of observation. Our results compare favorably with observational evidence, showing that the model proves reasonably capable of reproducing the main features of the actual channel-network patterns. The model reproduces statistical network characteristics of eco-morphodynamic and hydrodynamic relevance and captures the dominant modes of the network-incision process.  相似文献

研究了盐城潮滩芦苇(Phragmites australis)、盐蒿(Artemisia schrenkiana)、互花米草(Spartina alterniflora)和淤泥光滩4种湿地对N、P营养物质的截留效应.在所选取的4种湿地中,分别采集了水、土壤和生物样;水样的总氮(TN)、总磷(TP)用过硫酸氧化还原法测定,土壤和生物样的TN、TP分别用凯氏定N法和钼锑抗比色法测定.研究结果显示,不同污染程度的水源灌溉下的芦苇湿地,其截留N、P的效果差异显著.其中,黄沙港不定期污水灌溉的芦苇湿地每年平均可截留TN 0.095 t/hm^2、TP 0.026 t/hm^2;而采取三灌三排方式用河水灌溉的新洋港芦苇湿地每年可分别截留TN 0.030 t/hm^2、TP 0.001 t/hm^2.比较盐蒿、互花米草和淤泥光滩3种湿地每年对湿地水中N、P的截留效果,淤泥光滩的效果最差,仅截留TN 0.385 kg/hm^2、TP 0.042 kg/hm^2;互花米草效果最好,分别截留TN 220.660 kg/hm^2、TP 36.754 kg/hm^2.尽管互花米草生物量大于芦苇,但其截留效果仍低于芦苇湿地(芦苇1 a收割1次).  相似文献

Spartina sp. (“townsendii” and anglica) was introduced in the Ho Bugt area at Esbjerg in 1931. The investigation is based on a study of a sample area on the peninsula Skallingen during the years 1957, 1960, 1965 and 1970, on litterature and on a survey of the whole bay in 1971. The colonization in the different parts of the bay is described.

“Spartina shows an extremely plastic morphological response to the varying conditions of tidal submergence and exposure on different parts of the marsh. This enables it to occupy a wide range of zones occupied in other areas by a series of different plant communities.” (Ranwell, 1964).

Sediment dynamics have an important influence on the morphological evolution of tidal wetlands, which consist of mudflats and salt marshes. To understand the nature of sediment behavior under combined current-wave action at an exposed tidal wetland, we measured the waves, currents, water depths, bed-level changes, and sediment properties at a mudflat-salt marsh transition on the Yangtze Delta, China, during five consecutive tides under onshore winds of ~ 8 m/s, and calculated the bed shear stresses due to currents (τc), waves (τw), combined current-wave action (τcw), and the critical shear stress for erosion of the bottom sediment (τce). The bed shear stresses under combined current-wave action (τcw) were approximately five times higher on the mudflat (up to 1.11 N/m2; average 0.27 N/m2) than on the salt marsh (up to 0.14 N/m2; average, 0.06 N/m2). On the mudflat, τcw was larger than the critical erosion shear stress (τce = 0.103 N/m2) for 70% of the period of submergence, whereas τcw was always lower than τce at the salt marsh site (τce = 0.116 N/m2). This result indicates that the sediment dynamics on the mudflat were dominated by erosion, whereas at the salt marsh they were governed by deposition, which is in agreement with the observed bed-level change during the study period (− 3.3 mm/tide on the mudflat and 3.0 mm/tide on the salt marsh). A comparison of τcw values calculated using the [van Rijn, 1993] and [Soulsby, 1995] models for bed shear stresses under combined current-wave action indicates that both models are applicable to the present case and effectively predict the bottom shear stress under combined current-wave action. Overall, we conclude that τcw in combination with τce is useful in assessing the hydrodynamic mechanisms that underlie the morphological evolution of exposed tidal wetlands.  相似文献

Average sea-level rise in the northern part of the Danish Wadden Sea has been 1.3 mm a?1 during the last 100 years but during the last 25 years a rise of 4.2 mm a?1 was observed. Concurrent with the recent sea-level rise the Skallingen barrier spit has migrated landward by 3–5 m a?1. Long term sediment budgets for each of the morphological units involved in the migration are reviewed (e.g. onshore in the shore face +90.000 m3 a?1, longshore -641.000 m3 a?1, foredunes +65,000 m3 a?1, overwash fan including shorenormal dunes +11,000 m3 a?1, spit terminus -96,000 m3 a?1, tidal flat + 10,000 m3 a?1 and backbarrier salt marsh +33,000 m3 a?1) and used to establish the relative importance of sediment transport processes involved in barrier migration. Strong interannual variations exist in the long term budget making evaluation of barrier behaviour based on short term measurements doubtful. In a cross shore sense the barrier spit is accreting in spite of the sea level rise. This is specially pronounced at an active overwash fan. However, due to substantial sediment losses to longshore transport the barrier, gets narrower and shorter during its transgressive behaviour. This may indicate that preservation of barriers in the geological record during rapid sea level rise is promoted when sediment loss to longshore transport is insignificant.  相似文献

The feasibility of developing a seed calibration data set to infer environmental constraints was examined by studying modern seed and vegetation assemblages from 53 stations at three distinct tidal marshes within the San Francisco Bay (salt, brackish and freshwater). Pearson's correlation indicates autochthonous derivation of seeds at the marsh sites. Multivariate statistical analysis of the vegetation and seed data indicates discrete assemblages, which can be used as a proxy for modern salinity and tidal inundation within the estuary. Canonical discriminant analysis indicates that the vegetation and seed assemblages of the three marsh types are statistically distinct. Cluster analysis suggests that marsh vegetation is zoned at the mean higher high water mark at all the sites. The calibration set was then applied to stratigraphic seed data from the estuary to infer changes in paleo-salinity and -tidal inundation during the Holocene. The results of the calibration are compared to earlier reconstructions within the estuary. While the calibrated reconstruction broadly compares to previous reconstructions, a period of inferred lower salinity within the estuary between 3800–2000 cal yr B.P. is calibrated as brackish and not fresh by the calibration model.  相似文献

根据2001-2013年遥感影像和野外观测数据,对江苏中部海岸互花米草(Spartina alterniflora Loisel)在滩涂围垦期间的扩展过程进行定量化分析。结果显示:2001-2013年互花米草扩展对围垦的响应大体分为三个阶段:2001-2007年,海堤外米草面积较大,每年新增米草面积及米草年扩展率均和新增围垦面积变化同步,且相关性显著;2008-2010年,海堤外米草面积较小,但米草年扩展率仍然较高;2011-2013年,随着围垦的持续进行,米草扩展进入稳定期。因此,互花米草扩展对于滩涂围垦的不同速率和阶段具有不同的响应。若围垦时保留足够宽度的堤前米草,则围垦可以提高米草的年扩展率,其机理是互花米草种子产量和前缘淤积环境是影响米草扩展的主要因素,而围垦对这两方面都有影响。在后期滩涂围垦时,应保证堤外米草宽度在0.9~1 km之间,实现土地资源的可持续利用。  相似文献

水分是干旱区不同景观界面间的水分循环过程与水力联系的主体,维持着干旱区湿地生态系统的结构与功能。为量化水分来源及其对植物水分的贡献率,以河岸灌木湿地和草地盐沼湿地为研究对象,通过测定降水、径流、地下水、土壤水和植物水中δD、δ18O组成,利用多源线性混合模型分析水分来源对荒漠植物水分利用的贡献率。结果表明:(1) 黑河流域荒漠绿洲湿地年均降水量104.6 mm,约占蒸散量(604.47 mm)的17.03%,具有明显的季节性分布特征。地下水位与土壤含水量的波动取决于河流距离,离河道较近的河岸灌木湿地地下水深度及土壤含水量随季节波动较小,而离河道较远的草地盐沼湿地则变化很大。(2) 当地大气降水线δD=6.33δ18O+4.04 (R2=0.931),斜率和截距均略小于全球大气降水线则符合黑河流域湿地整体降水少而蒸散量大的特点。黑河径流δD和δ18O均值分别为-43.80‰±12.09‰和-8.65‰±23.33‰,地下水为-50.98‰±13.18‰和-9.74‰±25.49‰,土壤水为 -42.07‰±6.89‰和-7.22‰±2.49‰,植物水为-51.84‰±14.46‰和-8.50‰±24.13‰。(3) 地表蒸发是荒漠绿洲湿地土壤氢、氧同位素富集的主要原因。地下水和河水分别是草地盐沼湿地与河岸灌木湿地的主要水分来源,贡献率分别约为61%和50%,表明湿地植物相比于干旱区脉冲式降水更依赖较为稳定的水源。(4) 植物根系深度和毛细根分布是决定荒漠绿洲湿地植物水分利用策略的重要因素。  相似文献
