The stability of the stationary motions of a spin-stabilized satellite is investigated using the Lyapunov second method. The nutating motion of the satellite is damped by a special-purpose device. In case the damping device consists of several independent dampers with one degree of freedom little affecting the satellite motion, their optimal parameters ensuring a maximal rate of damping the nutating motion of the satellite are determined with the hypothesis of resonance adjustmentsof the dampers. The Krylov-Bogolyubov method is used to investigate the influence of external moments on the motion of the satellite rotation axis.

The applicability of the properties of central configurations proceeding from the many-body problem to study of gaseous sphere cloud evolution during its gravitational contraction is justified. It is shown that the product runs to a constant value in the asymptotic time limit of simultaneous collision of all the particles of the cloud where is a form-factor of the potential energy and is a form-factor of the moment of inertia.The spherical bodies as well as ellipsoids of rotation and general ellipsoids with a one-dimensional mass distribution (k),k[0, 1] are found to possess the property =const.

A possibility of developing the analytical theory of perturbed motion for a balloon-satellite influenced by solar radiation pressure force is analysed here on the basis of the limit case modification of the two fixed centers problem whose force-field is a superposition of the Newtonian central field and a homogeneous one. Such an approach enables us in the intermediate orbit already to take into account the effect of a constant force, all coordinates of a satellite being expressed as functions of some monotonically increasing variable by means of inversion of elliptic quadratures. The relations between canonical constants of the intermediate orbit and a quasikeplerian elements coinciding in the absence of solar radiation pressure with keplerian ones are derived. The numerical results and illustrating the perturbations in the radius-vector of the intermediate orbit of a balloon-satellite of the Echo-I type are given.

The exact solutions for the equilibrium of rotating gaseous disk with poloidal magnetic field are obtained. The stability of the disk with respect to uniform expansion and contraction is investigated by means of the variational principle. It is shown that if the equilibrium is determined by gravitational and magnetic forces only, the disk is in neutral equilibrium with respect to perturbations of the form r=r. The instability to short-waves perturbations is studied by the quasi-classical method. The analysis shows that if the magnetic field isH>2G, where is the surface density, then these perturbations are stabilized. The configurations of the electrical field induced by the rotation of magnetized disk are found. In conclusion, the questions of the evolution of the disk are discussed in connection with the quasar model when pulsar-like radiation is taken into account.

In the quasilinear theory of magnetospheric radial diffusion caused by fluctuating electrostatic (E) or magnetic (B) fields, the diffusion coefficientD LLis proportional to the spectral density of E or B at the particle drift frequency 3/2. Since 3 varies withL at fixedM andJ (adiabatic invariants), the drift resonance =3 can be maintained only transiently, and therefore is not perfectly sharp. Its bandwidth * is approximately (16D LL /L 23)1/33. In magnetospheric radial diffusion caused mainly by electrostatic fluctuations, the value of *3 typically exceeds 0.4 for particle energiesE40 keV. However, the numerical value ofD LLis correctly given (within 1% in all cases) by quasilinear theory because the spectrum of E is rather flat at resonance frequencies for which the bandwidth is an appreciable fraction of 3. It is found that the relationship between the potential energy and the moment of the inertia independent of the radial mass distribution obtained earlier for the sphere also holds in the case of the ellipsoidal mass distribution for the ellipsoid of rotation.The possibility of application of the energy virial relations for solution of the evolutionary problems of the gravitating gaseous sphere, with the help of the relationship found earlier, is demonstrated. The physical conditions on the gaseous sphere boundary are introduced. The existence of two branches of evolution, the proton one and the electron one, is established. The problem of the gravitational contraction velocity during sphere evolution is solved. The relationship between the boundary temperature and the gaseous sphere radius as well as between the luminosity and the body mass is obtained. Some limiting relations for the final stage of the gaseous sphere evolution are found.

This paper is a continuation and a generalization of one published earlier (Duboshin, 1969): it discusses the problem whether there exist the Lagrangian and the Eulerian solutions of the generalized three-body (material points) problem. Every point in this generalized problem acts on another, one with a force (attractive or repulsive) directed along the straight line passing through these points, and in an arbitrary manner depending on time, mutual distance and its derivatives, the first and the second. Here, generally speaking, the third axiom of dynamics (law of action and reaction) is not presupposed as fulfilled, that is, it is supposed that every two material points interact in a different way.This most general assumption being made, we establish the conditions which must dictate the laws of the interactions, so that the three points can always remain at the apexes of the equilateral triangle (Langrangian solution), or remain always on a straight line (Eulerian solution).The author believes that such general treatment of the three-body problem can be useful for theoretical studies in celestial mechanics and also for practical applications in the study of isolated stellar systems.

Based on a general planetary theory, the secular perturbations in the motion of the eight major planets (excluding Pluto) have been derived in polynomial form. The results are presented in the tables. The linear terms of second order with respect to the planetary masses and the nonlinear terms of first order up to the fifth (and partly seventh) degree with respect to eccentricities and inclinations were taken into account in the right-hand members of the secular system. Calculations were carried out by computer with the use of a system that performed analytic operations on power series with complex coefficients.

Orbital stability of quasiperiodic motions in the many dimensional autonomic hamiltonian systems is considered. Studied motions are supposed to be not far from equilibrium, the number of their basic frequencies may be not equal to the number of degrees of freedom, and the procedure of their construction is supposed to be converged. The stability problem is solved in the strict nonlinear mode.Obtained results are used in the stability investigation of small plane motions near the lagrangian solutions of the three-dimensional circular restricted three-body problem. The values of parameters for which the plane motions are unstable have been found.

The catalog of the classical WR stars which have the emission doublet Ovi 3811, 3834 in their optical spectra (the catalog of the WR-Ovi stars) and the results of the spectroscopic investigations of the WR-Ovi stars HD 16523, HD 17638, and HD 192103 are presented. Rapid spectral variability of the emission doublet Ovi 3811, 3834 in the spectra of WR-Ovi stars HD 16523, HD 17638, and of the emission band 3680-3780 Å in the spectra of the WR-Ovi star HD 16523 is observed. It is shown that spectral sub-types of the stars HD 16523 and HD 17638 as estimated from different criteria are uncertain. We argue that the WR-Ovi stars HD 16523 and HD 17638, the optical spectra of which display emission doublet Ovi 3811, 3834, may be considered as WO5 stars. The sub-type WO5 is proposed for the first time. Classification criteria of the WO5 sub-type are represented. The possible contribution of the ions Heii to the emission at 3811 Å and 3834 Å is investigated. Thez-distributions of WR-Ovi stars and WR stars with the probable relativistic companions are found to be similar.  相似文献

The results of the observations to search gamma-ray sources with the energy greater than 2×1012 eV, which were made in Crimean Astrophysical Observatory during the years 1969–73 are presented. A technique of the detection of the EAS Cerenkov flashes was used.The quality of the data obtained is analysed. The criteria for the selection of the data free from meteorological variations are considered.It was shown that two objects, namely, Cyg X-3 and Cas -1, may be the sources of high-energy gamma quanta. It is probable that the object with the coordinates =05h15m, =+1° is the source of gamma-rays as well. An unidentified object Cas -1 is variable: gamma-ray flux was observed twice — in Sepember–October 1971 and in December 1972. It is possible that the flux from Cyg X-3 has a period of 4.8 hr.
