The paper proposes an economical and fast algorithm for deriving trajectories from sporadic tracking points collected in location-based
services (LBS). Although many traffic studies or applications can benefit from the derived trajectories, the sporadic tracking
points are always implicitly overlooked by most of existing map-matching algorithms. The algorithm proposed in this paper
finds network paths or trajectories traveled by vehicles through augmenting GPS data with odometer data. An odometer can provide
data of traveled distance which are compared with the lengths of candidate network paths in order to find the most approximate
network path approaching the trajectory of a vehicle. Tracking points are classified into anchor points and non-anchor points.
The former are used to divide trajectories, and the latter screen candidate network paths. An elliptic selection zone and
a reduction process are applied to the selection of possible road segments composing candidate network paths. A brute-force
searching algorithm is developed to find candidate network paths and calculate their lengths. A two-step screening process
is designed to select the final result from candidate network paths. Finally, a series of experiments are conducted to validate
the proposed algorithm.

Observations of living organisms by citizen scientists that are reported to online portals are a valuable source of information. They are also a special kind of volunteered geographic information (VGI). VGI data have issues of completeness, which arise from biases caused by the opportunistic nature of the data collection process. We examined the completeness of bird species represented in citizen science observation data from eBird and iNaturalist in US National Parks (NPs). We used approaches for completeness estimation which were developed for data from OpenStreetMap, a crowdsourced map of the world. First, we used an extrinsic approach, comparing species lists from citizen science data with National Park Service lists. Second, we examined two intrinsic approaches using total observation numbers in NPs and the development of the number of new species being added to the data-set over time. Results from the extrinsic approach provided appropriate completeness estimations to evaluate the intrinsic approaches. We found that total observation numbers are a good estimator of species completeness of citizen science data from US NPs. There is also a close relationship between species completeness and the ratio of new species added to observation data vs. observation numbers in a given year. 相似文献

Trust as a proxy indicator for intrinsic quality of Volunteered Geographic Information in biodiversity monitoring programs 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this article, we present a fuzzy model for intrinsic quality assessment of Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) on species occurrences obtained by Citizen Science (CS) biodiversity monitoring programs. The proposed VGI quality assurance approach evaluates the thematic and positional quality of the crowdsourced biodiversity observation in terms of the trustworthiness of the observation by combining three indicators of consistency with habitat, consistency with surroundings, and reputation of contributor, that characterize the geographical and social aspects of trust in VGI. To evaluate the performance and usability of the proposed approach for evaluating the trustworthiness of crowdsourced observations and detecting thematic and positional errors in crowdsourced observations, the developed approach was applied to the crowdsourced observations on Acer macrophyllum collected through the CS biodiversity monitoring projects of E-Flora BC and iNaturalist. The result of a conformity test at the optimal acceptance threshold (sensitivity = 0.99, specificity = 0.8, and Cohen’s kappa = 0.79), the achieved area under the curve (AUC) value (AUC = 0.98), and the results of the complementary investigation on the predictions of the proposed model indicated that the proposed fuzzy trust model exhibited promising predictive performance and was able to flag the majority of attribute and positional errors in the crowdsourced biodiversity observations. 相似文献

This paper describes a broad perspective of the application of graph theory to establishment of GPS control networks whereby the GPS network is considered as a connected and directed graph with three components. In this algorithm the gross error detection is undertaken through loops of different spanning trees using the “Loop Law” in which the individual components ΔX, ΔY and ΔZ sum up to zero. If the sum of the respective vector components ΩX, ΩY and ΩZ in a loop is not zero and if the error is beyond the tolerable limit (ε>ω), it indicates the existence of gross errors in one of the baselines in the loop and therefore the baseline must be removed or re-observed. After successful screening of errors by graph theory, network adjustment can be carried out. In this paper, the GPS data from the control network established as refence system for the HP Dam at Baishan county in Liaoning province is presented to illustrate the algorithm. 相似文献

利用IGS跟踪站的GPS观测数据,通过数据预处理,先求得对流层延迟参数,再解算高频(30 s)GPS卫星时钟改正,并与CODE(center for orbit determination in Europe)给出的30 s一笔的高频时钟数据进行比较,两者平均差异为0.003 234 ns,平均标准差为0.607 6 ns。通过比较,发现在20世纪90年代发射的BlockIIA卫星携带的Cs钟不如Rb钟稳定和可靠,Block IIR卫星携带的时钟优于Block IIA卫星钟。 相似文献

The ionospheric effect is one of the major errors in GPS data processing over long baselines. As a dispersive medium, it is
possible to compute its influence on the GPS signal with the ionosphere-free linear combination of L1 and L2 observables,
requiring dual-frequency receivers. In the case of single-frequency receivers, ionospheric effects are either neglected or
reduced by using a model. In this paper, an alternative for single-frequency users is proposed. It involves multiresolution
analysis (MRA) using a wavelet analysis of the double-difference observations to remove the short- and medium-scale ionosphere
variations and disturbances, as well as some minor tropospheric effects. Experiments were carried out over three baseline
lengths from 50 to 450 km, and the results provided by the proposed method were better than those from dual-frequency receivers.
The horizontal root mean square was of about 0.28 m (1σ). 相似文献

南极中山站至A冰穹(Dome-A)考察沿线布设有GPS高精度定位点,通过用高精度GPS静态定位处理软件GAMIT/GLOBK对三期观测数据的处理可知,考察沿线的GPS点以8~25m/a的速度向西北方向(冰盖边缘方向)流动,越接近冰盖边缘,运动速度越快,最快达到100m/a;而且,冰川整体上以1~5m/a2的加速度流动。同时,由于冰盖的流动,引起了垂直方向0.2~1m/a的沉降速度。 相似文献

Some GPS points were set up and occupied and reoccupied along the traverse route from Zhongshan Station to Dome-A.The result analysis for the GPS data processed by GAMIT/GLOBK package was presented in this paper.It was indicated that the ice along the traverse route flowed with an 8-25 m/a velocity to the northwest in the last three years,which was the direction of the edge of the ice sheet.The maximum horizontal flow velocity is about 100 m/a.Moreove,due to the ice flow,a 0.2-1 m/a sedimentation rate is achieved.finally,a 1-5m/a^2 horizontal acceleration is achieved from the GPS data of the three different stages. 相似文献

Recent studies have demonstrated the usefulness of global positioning system (GPS) receivers for relative positioning of formation-flying satellites using dual-frequency carrier-phase observations. The accurate determination of distances or baselines between satellites flying in formation can provide significant benefits to a wide area of geodetic studies. For spaceborne radar interferometry in particular, such measurements will improve the accuracy of interferometric products such as digital elevation models (DEM) or surface deformation maps. The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of relative position errors on the interferometric baseline performance of multistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites flying in such a formation. Based on accuracy results obtained from differential GPS (DGPS) observations between the twin gravity recovery and climate experiment (GRACE) satellites, baseline uncertainties are derived for three interferometric scenarios of a dedicated SAR mission. For cross-track interferometry in a bistatic operational mode, a mean 2D baseline error (1σ) of 1.4 mm is derived, whereas baseline estimates necessary for a monostatic acquisition mode with a 50 km along-track separation reveal a 2D uncertainty of approximately 1.7 mm. Absolute orbit solutions based on reduced dynamic orbit determination techniques using GRACE GPS code and carrier-phase data allows a repeat-pass baseline estimation with an accuracy down to 4 cm (2D 1σ). To assess the accuracy with respect to quality requirements of high-resolution DEMs, topographic height errors are derived from the estimated baseline uncertainties. Taking the monostatic pursuit flight configuration as the worst case for baseline performance, the analysis reveals that the induced low-frequency modulation (height bias) fulfills the relative vertical accuracy requirement (σ<1 m linear point-to-point error) according to the digital terrain elevation data level 3 (DTED-3) specifications for most of the baseline constellations. The use of a GPS-based reduced dynamic orbit determination technique improves the baseline performance for repeat-pass interferometry. The problem of fulfilling the DTED-3 horizontal accuracy requirements is still an issue to be investigated. DGPS can be used as an operational navigation tool for high-precision baseline estimation if a geodetic-grade dual-frequency spaceborne GPS receiver is assumed to be the primary instrument onboard the SAR satellites. 未来10年遥感对地观测技术的发展使得遥感影像的获取将走向多种传感器、多分辨率、多谱段和多时相。各国计划发射的对地观测卫星将使我们能够同时获取大量的、不同分辨率的、多谱段的可见光、红外、微波辐射和侧视雷达的数据。从而构成用于全球变化研究、环境监测、资源调查、灾害防治的多层次遥感影像金字塔。为了能够及时地、充分地利用这些对地观测数据来回答地学研究和人类社会发展所面临时的问题,更好地发挥遥感为国民经济建设服务的巨大潜力,必须从技术上建立一个自动化和智能化的空间对地观测数据处理系统。鉴于目前应用滞后于发射,软件落后于硬件的现实情况,本文简要叙述建立自动化和智能化空间对地观测数据处理系统的必要性和可能性,分析建立该系统的主要目标和需解决的关键技术并希望国家集中各有关方面的人力和财力来共同攻关,以建立和完善我国的地球科学信息系统,提高综合研究与深入分析的现代化水平。 相似文献
