文章对西部黄土高原糜子湾黄土-古土壤剖面进行了磁性地层学研究。该剖面厚度为164.4m,记录了15个正磁极性段和15个负磁极性段,可与标准极性表中从C5r.3r到C5En之间的极性带对比。根据极性界限用平均沉积速率外推,得到该剖面顶界年龄为约11.6MaB.P.,底界年龄为约18.5MaB.P.。糜子湾剖面位于已发表的QAⅠ中新世黄土剖面以东约30km,两剖面相同时代的地层在岩性地层结构和磁化率曲线波动上具有高度的一致性,表明中新世黄土-古土壤序列与第四纪黄土-古土壤序列一样,地层在空间上有很好的可对比性。文章的结果为从空间角度研究中新世环境变化行为提供了新剖面的年代地层框架。  相似文献

本文通过对辽西朝阳地区含鸟化石层附近侏罗-白垩系蓝旗组、土城子组、义县组地层共1252块古地磁样吕的测试与分析,建立了以上沉积地层的磁极性序列,发现蓝旗组、土城子组地层的磁极性序列具有频繁的正、反极性、而义县组则为单一正极性,结合现有古生物和同位素年龄资料,对比国际中生代地磁极性年表,表明土城子组的磁极性序列相当于提塘期、基末里期、牛津期和卡洛期,其主体的地质时代应属晚侏罗世(J3),土城子组底部的地质时代应属中侏罗世(J2);并且根据义县组含鸟化石层以上层位的磁性地层研究结果,认为义县组含鸟化石的正极性带可与M16正极性时相对应,义县组含鸟类化石层的时代应属早白垩世早期,辽西白垩系/侏罗系界线很有可能位于义县组/土城子组之间。  相似文献

在四川省攀枝花一西昌地区六个采样点,采集了二叠纪玄武岩和铝土矿标本,测得的古地磁结果表明,不同点地层的平均磁特征方向是一致的,但其磁极性既有正向的,也有反向的,进一步分析研究提出,磁性方向在NE象限的峨眉山玄武岩是在正极性期形成的.文章还讨论了安宁河断裂两侧地层磁性的某些差异,并提出这些磁特征方向的差异可能是由于构造作用或地层年龄差异所致.  相似文献

通过对昆明滇池湖盆三个钻孔较密集的古地磁采样和系统的测量,获得了该区沉积500余米厚新生代地层的较为完整的磁极性剖面。自上至下测定出了三个极性带(布容、松山、高斯)。在松山反极性带内判别出了4个极性亚带(贾拉米洛、滇池、奥杜威、留泥汪);高斯正极性带内判别出了2个极性亚带(凯纳、猛犸);布容正极性带内分辨出了6~9个短暂的地磁极性变化。根据本文研究结果,参考孢粉、介形虫,腹足类化石及碳14测年资料,对照国际地磁极性年表,确定出滇池湖盆晚新生代地层包括了整个第四系和上新统晚期部分,并对该套地层进行了具体的划分和粗略的对比。  相似文献

位于安徽省中部巢湖市郊的平顶山西剖面被推荐为印度阶-奥伦尼克阶界线的全球层型候选剖面。系统记述了该剖面的地层序列,包括岩石地层、生物地层、磁性地层、碳氧同位素地层和旋回地层等方面的最新研究成果。该剖面包括3个岩石地层单元、7个牙形石带、5个菊石带、3个双壳类带;在剖面下段地层中识别出2个正向磁性带和2个反向磁极性带;与地球轨道天文周期相对应的Milankovitch气候沉积旋回也可以明确地辨认;碳氧同位素δ1 3Ccarb演变呈现两次大的旋回。以牙形石N eospathodus waageni首现定义的印度阶-奥伦尼克阶界线在该剖面上位于三叠系第二个主要的正向极性带近顶部,也接近三叠纪碳同位素δ1 3Ccarb首次正向漂移峰值处  相似文献

由于湖北建始龙骨洞洞穴沉积地层年代存在疑问,对建始龙骨洞沉积剖面的154块样品进行了磁性地层学再研究,并建立了磁极性序列,结果显示龙骨洞沉积地层记录了单一的反极性序列,仅在距顶部0.93m处存在一个短期的正极性事件。将龙骨洞剖面极性柱与国际标准极性柱对比,反极性序列应对应于松山反极性时,正极性事件可对应于Cobb Mountain或者留尼旺正极性事件。如果龙骨洞沉积中的哺乳动物年代偏向早更新世,后一种对比方案可能更合理。由此龙骨洞哺乳动物群年龄为1.945—2.581Ma,古人类化石年龄为2.148—2.581Ma。  相似文献

印度阶一奥伦尼克阶界线的全球层型候选剖面之一位于安徽巢湖地区;巢湖地区的下三叠统也是国际上同期地层中生物地层序列最有代表性、多重地层学手段应用齐备、研究效果最好的地层序列之一。根据巢湖地区3条代表性下三叠统剖面的岩石地层、生物地层和碳同位素地层的最新研究成果归纳出本区早三叠世综合地层序列,作为区域地层对比研究的标准.巢湖的下三叠统明确包含8个牙形石带和6个菊石带。它们具有区域甚至全球对比意义;巢湖地区早三叠世碳同位素δ^13Ccarb的演变呈现2个显著的漂移周期,这种有特色的碳同位素漂移,不仅具有地层学价值,而且可能对于三叠纪初的生物复苏和生态系演变具有指导意义.在综合地层序列基础上,将3条剖面的古地磁学研究成果链接,形成了巢湖地区完整的早三叠世磁性地层序列,包括5个主要的正向极性带和5个反向极性带,这也是目前在本区乃至华南获得的最完整的早三叠世磁极性序列之一.这些为该区域乃至全球相关地层研究树立了一个基本格架。  相似文献

在白垩纪与古近纪之交,全球发生了以恐龙集群灭绝和哺乳动物兴起为代表的重大事件,白垩系与古近系界线(Cretaceous—Paleogene boundary,KPB)研究成为热点。虽然近年来KPB研究取得了重要进展,但许多非海相地层领域的重要问题并未得到解决,因此建立非海相白垩系—古近系界线层型很有必要。山东平邑盆地的卞桥组为一套连续的湖相碳酸岩沉积,在前人大量研究基础上认为其是进行非海相KPB研究的理想地层单元之一。本文通过对平邑卞桥镇佟家庄北PYZK01钻孔的生物地层研究,获得了丰富的古生物化石,根据其分布特征建立了1个Porochara anluensis—Chara yuntaishanensis var.acuta—Turbochara specialis轮藻化石组合,1个Deltoidospora adriensis—Rugubivesiculites—Schizaeoisporites孢粉化石组合,认为该钻孔0~12.25 m地层时代为古近纪,37.80~60.00 m地层时代为晚白垩世最晚期。12.25~37.80 m地层时代为晚白垩世—古近纪过渡段,白垩系—古近系界线存在于该段。通过磁性地层研究,确立了8个正极性带和7个反极性带,建立了钻孔磁极性序列,并提出了与国际标准的磁极性年代柱的对比方案。同时,经过探讨初步认为PYZK01钻孔中的白垩纪/古近纪界线位于孔深31.98 m处的卞桥组一段内。关键字:  相似文献

根据长江三角洲地区18个新老钻孔的古地磁、磁化率、天然剩余磁化强度等磁性特征的综合研究,证明布容正向极性带、松山反向极性带与高斯正向极性带,以及哥德堡、布莱克、贾拉米洛、奥尔杜维极性亚带在本区都存在;结合岩石地层、生物地层和测年数据等资料,与微古、孢粉等分析结果都有一定的吻合性;这对第四纪地层的划分具有重要的参考价值。同时认为,第四纪时长江三角洲地区继接受碎屑沉积物以来,基本表现为一连续沉积区,并无长时间的大规模沉积间断。  相似文献

A synthesis of previous work and new data on the stratigraphy of high terraces of the Ohio and Monongahela Rivers upstream from Parkersburg, West Virginia, indicates a correspondence between terrace histories in the ancient Teays and Pittsburgh drainage basins. Four terraces are identified in each. Sediments of the lower three alluvial and slackwater terraces, correlated with Illinoian, early Wisconsin, and late Wisconsin glacial deposits, have been traced along the modern Ohio River through the former divide between the Teays and Pittsburgh basins. Sediments in the fourth terrace, the highest well-defined terrace in each basin, were deposited in two ice-dammed lakes, separated by a divide near New Martinsville, West Virginia. Some deposits of the highest slackwater terrace in both the Teays and Pittsburgh basins have reversed remanent magnetic polarity. This, and the stratigraphic succession in the two basins, suggests that both were ponded during the same glaciation. Reversed polarity in these terrace sediments restricts the age of the first ice-damming event for which stratigraphic evidence is well-preserved to a pre-Illinoian, early Pleistocene glaciation prior to 788,000 yr ago. In contrast, slackwater sediments in the Monongahela River valley, upstream from an outwash gravel dam at the Allegheny-Monongahela confluence, have normal remanent magnetic polarity, corroborating correlation with an Illinoian ponding event.  相似文献

根据岩石剩磁测试资料所反映的古地磁场极性变化特征,甘肃玉门旱峡剖面原先厘定为下白垩统的新民堡群包括7个正向极性亚时带和7个反向极性亚时带。通过与国际中生代极性年表和深海沉积物极性年表的对比,新民堡群实际上可分为两个地层单位:以第三个反向极性亚时带为界(从下往上数),下部层段属于上侏罗说(厚约460m),上部层段属下白垩统(厚约636m)。剖面玄武岩脉的喷溢时代应早于中新世,晚于旱白垩世,分为两期岩浆活动。  相似文献

313 orientated samples were collected from Drilling Core ZK1 in southern Leizhou Peninsula for the study of Quaternary paleomagnetic strato-chronology.Te polarity measurement results indicate that the core recorded paleomagnetic information in three main parts:the upper one of the core,from the ground surface to the depth of 39m ,is normally magnetized in polarity,the middle one,from 39m 59 210m in depth,mainly shows reversed polarity and the lower one recorded normal polarity again.They correspond to the Brunhes normal chron,the Matuyama reversed chron and the Guass normal chron in the geomagnetic polarity time scale,respectively.The age of he core could be over 3.4Ma.Meanwhile,the magnetic susceptibility was measured and its result is significant for stratigraphic division and paleoclimatic research.  相似文献

The Xining basin is located in the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a rift basin formed in Mesozoic and Cenozoic and structurally belongs to the intersection of Kunlun and Qilian Mountains. Cenozoic fluvial and lacustrine sedimentary strata are continuous in the Xining basin, with a thickness of more than 800 m, completely recording the deformation uplifting, weathering and denudation history and climate change process of the northeastern plateau. Currently, early Miocene Xijia fauna, early Middle Miocene Danshuilu fauna and late Middle Miocene Diaogou fauna are discovered in the Xining basin, which provide an important basis for the stratigraphic correlation of the Cenozoic strata in the Xining basin. However, in the next few decades, there are no reports about the large mammal fossils in the Xining basin, especially about late Miocene fauna. The author discovered a large amount of mammal fossils in the Neogene sedimentary strata in Huzhu area, Xining basin. According to the identification results of the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, these fossils mainly included Hipparion dongxiangense, Chilotherium sp., Parelasmotherium sp., Stephanocemas sp. and Kubanochoerus sp. and their age was early Late Miocene. Since the discovery of this set of fossils directly filled the blank that there were no large mammal fossils in the Xining basin in Late Miocene, it was very important for studying the magnetic stratigraphic chronology of fossil-forming strata and establishing the paleomagnetic chronology scale plate of mammal fossils. In this paper, the paleomagnetic data of the fossil-forming stratigraphic profile, Banyan profile, were measured and the paleomagnetic records were collected through high density sampling, and finally the paleomagnetic polarity column of the profile was established. The results showed that five positive and five negative polarity segments were recorded in Banyan profile, which corresponded well to the polarity between C3Br.1n-C4n.2n in the standard polarity column. The age of profile top was about 7.25 Ma and profile bottom was about 8.4 Ma, with an age range of 1.15 Ma. The mammal fossils discovered this time were exposed between positive and negative polarities N5 and R5 at the bottom of the profile, corresponding to C4r.1r at negative polarity and C4n.2n at positive polarity in the standard polarity column. The age of mammal fossils was about 8.3 Ma. The paleomagnetic chronology of the strata and paleontological fossils determined the absolute age of late Miocene mammal fossils and expanded the upper age of late Miocene Xianshuihe Formation (N1xn) in the Xining basin, which had provided new basic data for further studying the stratigraphic deposition and correlation of late Cenozoic strata and regional environmental evolution.  相似文献

This paper discusses the Cretaceous-Tertiary magnetic polarity sequence of the the Hengyang Basin on the basis of magnetostratigraphic study. The age of each stratigraphic unit has been determined with the magnetic polarity time scale combined with 39Ar/40Ar dating, thus providing evidence for determining the geological ages of different formations. The authors assign the age of the Dongjing Formation of the Hengyang Basin to Early Cretaceous, the Shenhuangshan Formation to Early-Late Cretaceous, the Daijiaping Formation to Late Cretaceous, and the Dongtang and Xialiushi formations to Palaeocene.  相似文献

对山西襄汾敬村更新统剖面黄土—古土壤的系统古地磁学研究表明,磁化率曲线与洛川黄土—古土壤磁化率标准曲线有较好的对应关系。这种对应关系由极性测量结果进一步证实。根据这一对应关系可推断,敬村剖面底部微红土及其下的砂砾层年代应老于1000ka。这一研究结果也可与距其1km外具有类似接触关系、年代有争议的丁村遗址进行磁性地层学对比。  相似文献

第四纪地层年代学格架的建立对区域地层对比及古地理环境演化研究具有重要意义。通过分析河北大厂凹陷北部第四系标准孔S9钻孔岩心沉积物颜色、结构构造、岩性组合特征,应用测井曲线、古地磁、AMS 14C和OSL测年方法,对S9钻孔剖面进行详细地层划分、沉积相分析和地层年代学格架建立。将S9孔揭示的松散沉积物分为4套岩性组合:第1套岩性组合代表洪积扇沉积;第2套岩性组合代表辫状河沉积;第3套岩性组合代表洪积扇沉积;第4套岩性组合代表泛滥平原沉积和河床沉积。通过对古地磁实验结果的分析得出, 0~145.3 m为古地磁极性带的布容正极性时,145.3~212.6 m为古地磁极性带的松山反极性时,212.6~251.8 m为古地磁极性带的高斯正极性时。以磁性地层为主导,以岩性地层特征、14C和OSL测年数据为辅,对S9孔第四纪岩性地层进行初步划分,其第四纪地层的下更新统、中更新统和上更新统的底界对应深度分别为210.9 m、145.4 m和24.05 m。  相似文献
