末次间冰期我国半干旱盆地Rb、Sr的迁移聚集规律与环境演变——以萨拉乌苏河流域米浪沟湾剖面研究结果为例

萨拉乌苏河流域米浪沟湾剖面末次间冰期层系记录了8.5个有风成的古沙丘砂与河湖相和/或古土壤构成的沉积旋回。该层系Rb、Sr元素含量分布具有明显的规律,主要表现为古沙丘砂中的Rb、Sr含量相对迁移,而在上覆河湖相和/或古土壤中相对聚集,构成末次间冰期的Rb、Sr含量迁移与聚集的8.5个元素旋回。研究表明,由Rb、Sr含量变化构成的这些旋回主要是由干冷暖湿气候波动所致。该地末次间冰期层系由上至下可划分为5个层段,即MS1~MS5。Rb、Sr含量在MS1、MS3、MS5和MS2、MS4分别呈现明显的峰态和不同程度的低谷,揭示出前者与后者分别是受到暖湿和干冷气候影响的阶段。据此,可以将 MS1、MS2、MS3、MS4和MS5依次在气候性质和阶段上可与GRIP冰芯和Sulu 海MIS5a、5b、5c、5d、5e诸亚段进行对比。研究亦表明,河湖相和古土壤Rb/Sr曲线却都不尽是峰态,黄土高原Rb/Sr值的气候意义并不完全适宜说明半干旱盆地或洼地的古环境变化。     

萨拉乌苏河流域米浪沟湾剖面主元素记录的末次间冰阶气候波动

 位于鄂尔多斯高原萨拉乌苏河米浪沟湾剖面是重建毛乌素沙地晚更新世以来古气候的理想地点。其末次间冰阶(MIS3)层序含4种沉积相,划分为19个沉积单元,构成9.5个风成的砂丘砂与河流相、湖相和古土壤交替的沉积旋回。主元素分析结果显示,该剖面MIS3层序中河流相、湖相和古土壤的Al2O3、TOFE、CaO、MgO、K2O、Na2O、TiO2含量明显高于古风成砂, 而SiO2则相反, 构成与沉积旋回相应的9.5个元素波动旋回。这些元素旋回指示了该地末次间冰阶至少经历了10次温湿(W事件)和9次冷干(C事件)气候波动,且可划分为MIS3e(58.90~49.50 ka BP)、MIS3d(49.50~40.70 ka BP)、MIS3c(40.70~36.90 ka BP)、MIS3b(36.90~27.00 ka BP)和MIS3a(27.00~22.30 ka BP)等5个亚段。其中, 19次冷/暖波动可与格陵兰GRIP冰芯δ18O冰段/间冰段大致对应, 5个亚段与我国古里雅冰芯和V23-81冷性浮游有孔虫数代表的北大西洋地区气候也具有较好的可比性。     

萨拉乌苏河流域MGS4层段记录的末次冰期早冰阶气候波动

萨拉乌苏河流域米浪沟湾末次冰期早冰阶时期记录了5.5个由古沙丘砂与河流相、湖沼相构成的沉积旋回。对各沉积旋回的粒度及微量元素分析表明,河流相和湖沼相的平均粒径Mz、分选系数σ和SC/D的值明显高于古沙丘砂,河湖相中的微量元素Mn、P、Rb、Zr、V、Ni含量普遍较古沙丘砂含量高,而Ba、Co等则呈现相反的变化;这些气候代用指标的波动构成了与沉积旋回相对应的5.5个粒度及微量元素变化旋回,指示了该地末次冰期早冰阶至少经历了6次冷干和5次暖湿的气候波动,其中若干次气候回暖事件和冷干事件可与格陵兰冰芯和葫芦洞石笋等记录的D/O事件和Heinrich事件相对应。米浪沟湾剖面地层记录的千年尺度气候波动既是对东亚季风环流演变历史的体现,同时也是对全球气候变化的响应。     

15万年以来极地冰芯、黄土、深海沉积的对比研究与全球变化

由极地冰芯记录、中纬黄土记录和深海沉积记录的对比可得，１５万年以来全球变化的基本框架为：末次间冰期，从距今１４万年开始到约１２．５万年达鼎盛，可分为五个阶段，即冰芯中三次高温期夹两次低温期；黄土中三层古土壤夹两层黄土；深海沉积中三次高海面夹两次低海面。末次冰期，距今８万年到１万年，可分为三个阶段，早、晚冰段和中间的间冰段。早、晚冰段盛期气候寒冷程度相当，但晚冰段最低温持续期更长，造成海面比早期更低。中间的间冰段，至少可分为７个亚段，即４次暖期（４次弱成土古土壤）夹３次冷期。全新世与末次间冰期对比，总体气候变化较平缓。在上述基本框架中，近几年发现，在末次冰期存在许多短周期、高频快速变化事件。这些事件，温度变化幅度达７℃，变化速率为几年到几十年，对应的环境变化速率可能更快。这些事件的引发机理目前还不清楚，有待进一步研究。     

中国第四纪冰川作用与深海氧同位素阶段的对比和厘定

随着冰期(阶)与间冰期(阶)旋回的不断细化,第四纪冰期系列与深海氧同位素阶段(MIS)对比之间所反映的问题开始逐步显现。通过中国第四纪冰期与MIS阶段对比,结合分析气候旋回与构造运动对地貌演化的控制作用,研究表明:①冰期(阶)或者间冰期(阶)发生的时段应尽可能对应于MIS的偶数或奇数阶段,有助于MIS框架下新的冰期(阶)的发现;②中更新世以来,中国第四纪冰期-间冰期旋回可能受控于100 ka轨道偏心率变化的气候大背景,昆仑冰期-倒数第二次冰期的冰川规模总体上与全球冰量变化一致。然而,末次冰期早、中期的冰川规模却与MIS所记录的全球冰量变化不尽一致,强烈显示气候与构造环境对冰川作用的影响;③目前在中国第四纪冰期划分方案中,存在着冰期系列由时间和地点双重命名的现象,建议用大理冰期、古乡冰期分别代替末次冰期和倒数第二次冰期。     

萨拉乌苏河流域MGS2层段主要氧化物变化及其指示的气候波动

萨拉乌苏河流域与MIS2相同时代的MGS2地层段记录了5.5个由风成砂与河流相或湖沼相构成的沉积旋回,通过对各沉积旋回的主要氧化物分析表明：河湖相中Al2O3、TOFE、K2O、MgO、CaO、Na2O、TiO含量通常明显高于风成砂,而SiO2含量则呈现相反的变化,构成了与沉积旋回相对应的5.5个主要氧化物变化旋回。结合各主要氧化物的化学迁移特性和剖面所在区域的地貌特征进行分析,认为该剖面的主要氧化物变化旋回是气候波动的反映,一个主要氧化物含量变动旋回指示了一个干冷-暖湿旋回,也即一个冬夏季风先后演替的气候旋回。MGS2持续的时间仅为12 ka,一个冬夏季风环境的变化大致平均仅需要2 ka,一个冬季风或者夏季风环境的平均持续时间大约1 ka。显然,这是一个千年尺度的环境变化。研究还表明,MGS2气候波动与晚冰期气候变化以及相关的Heinrich事件具有良好的对应关系。可以推断,MGS2记录的千年尺度环境变化是全球环境变化在本区域的反映。     

中国热带第四纪气候波动特征

中国热带早更新世气候波动以高频率小幅度为特征。“中更新世革命”发生在MIS20／MIS21之交。中更新世气候波动一般为三大旋回。晚更新世为两大旋回,但有变暖事件D／01～21及变冷事件H1～H6的表现。可以识别末次间冰期MISS及其阶段5a～5e。末次亚间冰期有4～7次冷暖波动。末次冰期温度一般比今低1～2℃或3～5℃。终止点Ⅰ为15000～13670aB．P．。终止点Ⅱ为0．135～0．130MaB．P．。新冰期Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ都有表现。历史时期出现南北朝冷期、北宋冷期、明清小冰期。近200a的气候,前百年升温,后百年降温。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
