The modulation of solar activity closely follows the solar rotation period suggesting the existence of long-lived active regions at preferred longitudes. For instance, two preferred active longitudes in both southern and northern hemispheres are found to be persistent at the century time scale. These regions migrate with differential rotation and periodically alternate their activity levels showing a flip-flop cycle. The pattern and behaviour of active longitudes on the Sun is similar to that on cool, rapidly rotating stars with outer convective envelopes. This suggests that the magnetic dynamo, including non-axisymmetric magnetic fields and flip-flop cycles, is also similar in these stars. This allows us to overview the phenomenon of stellar magnetic activity and to study it in detail on the Sun.  相似文献

对在1981-2000年世界上所发表的和中国学者所发表的有关恒星与恒星系统的论文作统计发现:此期间世界上这一领域的发展较平稳,而我国的发展快速.这反映了改革开放后,我国基础学科研究大有进展.从各分支所占的比重和发展来看,我国在恒星与恒星系统的研究与世界同期有几乎相同的分布,因此总体上我国在这一领域的发展基本正常.当然有些分支发展较快,如有关超新星及其遗迹、星际介质和恒星形成区、化学丰度的研究等,这和一些较强的研究团组形成有关;在双星研究方面,我国则与世界发展一致,双星研究始终是恒星研究领域的重点;而在世界范围内较突出的关于银河系的研究,在我国却相对较弱.恒星和恒星系统这一研究领域20年的论文数统计显示,我国学者所发表的论文只占世界总论文数的1.3%,虽然在最后5年有大幅上升,但也只占2.0%,这与我国IAU会员数所占比例相比是偏少的.就世界整体而言,恒星领域的研究进展与整个天文学领域相比是较慢的,显然这与一批能做深空探测和高能波段观测的设备投入有关.因此,除了对恒星及恒星系统领域作统计分析外,对整个天文学领域各大分支作分析可能对制定今后我国天文学发展计划更有利。  相似文献

We present the first results of searching for stellar cycles by analysis of stellar spottedness using an algorithm developed at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory. For more than 35 red spotted stars, we find ten targets which demonstrate cyclic variations of average latitudes and total areas of starspots. Activity cycles detected by this method have a typical cycle length about 4–15 years which are analogous to the 11-year solar Schwabe cycle. Most of the program stars demonstrate a rough analogue with the solar butterfly diagram. They show a tendency for the average starspot latitude lowering when the total spot area grows. At the same time these stars show variations of stellar photometric period (which is traced by starspots) with the starspot latitudinal drift analogously to the solar differential rotation effect. We suspect that the starspot latitudinal drift rate and the differential rotation gradient depend on the stellar spectral type.  相似文献

We present here stellar spectra of B stars obtained with the EURD spectrograph, one of the three instruments on board MINISAT-01. EURD is a spectrograph specially designed to detect diffuse radiation in thewavelength range between 350 and 1100 Å with 5 Å spectral resolution. EURD main scientific targets are: the spectrum of interstellar medium,atmospheric airglow, decaying neutrinos, Moon and early type stars.  相似文献

The structure of the solar neighborhood and its position in the galaxy, including the galactocentric distances, are analyzed. Catalogues are examined of near-sun stars and substars, which are compiled from ground and space based observations in the optical and infrared spectral regions. The problem of classifying celestial bodies in the galaxy by astrophysical and cosmogonic criteria is discussed. The problem of determining the main characteristics of the nearest stars and substars is analyzed. The statistical relationships are investigated between the main characteristics of stars and substars on the basis of their physical evolutionary models. The physical sense of these relationships is discussed. The calculated differential distribution functions of the astrophysical properties of stars and substars are examined.  相似文献

本文讨论了晚型星的磁场强度与ROSAT软X射线的相关性,用四种模型拟合了ROSAT的观测结果,讨论了各种模型的优缺点,同时发现单星的星冕温度与磁场强度的相关性很好.因此可以认为磁场是晚型星星冕很重要的加热机制.由处理ROSAT数据得到的星冕温度,可估计晚型星表面的磁场强度.  相似文献

P-mode oscillations in the Sun and stars are excited stochastically by Reynolds stress and entropy fluctuations produced by convection in their outer envelopes. The excitation rate of radial oscillations of stars near the main sequence from K to F and a subgiant K IV star have been calculated from numerical simulations of their surface convection zones. P-mode excitation increases with increasing effective temperature (until envelope convection ceases in the F stars) and also increases with decreasing gravity. The frequency of the maximum excitation decreases with decreasing surface gravity.  相似文献

发展了一种简单的双温模型用于研究黑子对活动星的视星等、颜色和视Li丰度的影响.在适当的黑子覆盖因子下,恒星黑子能产生可观的活动星的视星等(V星等约±0.2星等)、颜色(B-V颜色约-0.1星等)和Li I λ6708 (?)谱线等值宽度(约-0.2-0.3 dex)的变化.与非活动的正常恒星相比,表面被黑子覆盖的活动星有更蓝的B-V颜色,它们的Li I λ6708 (?)谱线的等值宽度也变窄.根据观测到的活动星黑子引起的光变变幅,估计视圆面黑子覆盖率的变化范围△Fs从百分之几到约0.2.视圆面黑子覆盖率不太可能超过0.3.  相似文献

The star I-I-42 (=vZ1390),a cluster member in M3,located near the red edge of the instability strip of the horizontal branch,was discovered by Roberts and Sandage as a low amplitude variable,it was designated as V204 in the "second catalogue of variable stars in globular clusters",but its coordinates given in all versions of this catalogue are wrong since 1955. We argue that V204 is indeed a low amplitude HB variable star,located near to the red edge of the instability strip,with a period of 0.74785d and an amplitude of about 0.04mag in V . We also find that the red cluster member star I-I-39 is a low amplitude variable with a period of 1.16d and amplitude of about 0.03mag in V which might be pulsating at the second overtone.  相似文献

Some possible ways of the energy production with fusion reactions in the Sun was explored theoretically in the first half of this century. Nowadays it is a standard view that the Sun produces its energy on a uniform level. I point out, that in the stellar and solar energy production a dynamic energy source is necessarily present behind the uniform one, and generates a direct connection between the core and the surface layers through tunnels.
