The self-potential anomaly due to a two-dimensional inclined sheets of finite depth extent has been analysed in the frequency domain using the Fourier transform. Expression for the Fourier amplitude and phase spectra are derived. The Fourier amplitude and phase spectra are analysed so as to evaluate the parameters of the sheet. Application of this method on two anomalies (synthetic and field data) has given good results.  相似文献

The Hilbert transformH(x) applicable to vertical (Z), horizontal (H), and total (T) magnetic anomalies due to a thin dike of infinite depth extent is derived from the generalised expression of magnetic effectF(x). The depth and dip of the dike is extracted by a simple procedure making use ofF(x) andH(x). A modified version of the amplitude of the analytic signal is given to locate the origin. The abscissa of the point of intersection ofF(x) and the discrete Hilbert transformH(1.x) directly yields the depth to the top. An example for each case is considered theoretically to illustrate the process. Applicability of the method is examined on the vertical component of the well-known magnetic anomaly at Kiirunavaara in northern Sweden, originally described by Von Carlheim Gyllenskjold, as well as on total magnetic anomaly of Bensons Mines, U.S.A.  相似文献

An interpretation technique using the Mellin transform is suggested for the analysis of magnetic anomalies due to some two-dimensional structures namely (i) a vertical sheet of both finite and infinite depth extent, (ii) a thick dyke and (iii) a horizontal circular cylinder. The Mellin transformed magnetic anomalies resemble gamma functions which are amenable to an easy interpretation. This procedure is illustrated with a small number of synthetic examples in each case. The practicality of the method is exemplified with the well-known vertical magnetic anomalies of Kursk (USSR) in the case of an infinite sheet model and Karimnagar magnetic anomaly (India) in the case of a horizontal circular cylinder. The results are compared with the techniques already available and found to be reliable.  相似文献

针对提高重力勘探正反演解释的分辨率问题,提出利用Hilbert变换计算和研究重力归一化总梯度.文中从理论上详细地证明了方法的可行性,给出了适合计算机实现的计算方法.为探讨该方法对油气藏的分辨能力,在模型计算中,分别利用Fourier级数法、Fourier变换法和本文提出的Hilbert变换法计算模型的GH场值,发现当三度体储油球冠模型(模拟似三度贮油气藏背斜模型)油气藏部分(低密度体)厚度减小到低于球冠厚度的十分之一时,Fourier级数及变换法不能分辨出低密度体所产生的异常,而Hilbert变换法仍然可以清晰地识别,这说明用Hilbert变换法计算的GH场对异常识别的分辨率优于其他两种方法.  相似文献

Either the magnetic anomaly or the horizontal gradient of gravity, if plotted against its Hilbert transform and then joined by a smooth curve, the relation figure is obtained. Properties of relation figures for some two-dimensional sources of simple geometry are shown to be useful in distinguishing the source geometry and also in estimating the source parameters, even in the presence of remanence.  相似文献

针对提高磁异常化磁极的质量问题,提出基于离散余弦变换(DCT)的化磁极方法.以位场余弦变换谱分析为基础,从理论上推导了基于DCT的二度和三度体总场磁异常化磁极转换公式.在倾斜板状体模型实验中,化磁极误差小于0.001 nT,具有较高的精度;在单球体及多球体模型实验中,采用基于DCT的化磁极方法在5.倾斜磁化时就可以取得较好的化磁极结果,15°时化磁极的效果更加明显,其等值线的形态、幅值以及所反映的磁性体的水平位置都得到较好的恢复,这说明,采用本文方法进行化磁极时,可以取得较好的效果.  相似文献

In this study the geodynamical scenario along with concepts of mantle plume and mobile belts is utilized to show that most of the existing and potential high thermal regions fall along the (mobile arms affected by the outburst and) traces of mantle plumes. Effects of channeling and partitioning of thermomagmatic flux (TMF) due to these mantle plumes along the mobile belts, particularly near the triple junctions, can be seen in the form of high heat flow and presence of hot springs. Triple junctions manifest over the Indian lithosphere are: Kutch-Cambay, Narmada Son-Godavari, Tapi-Mahanadi, Tapi-Damodar, Pondicherry region, Gulf of Mannar and SW corner of the subcontinent (off-shore), etc. Apart from mobile belts, the deltaic regions of Krishna, Godavari, Ganga, Cauvery, Narmada-Tapi and Indus, etc., are also posses higher level of thermal anomalies as these regions seem to have been substantially influenced by outbursts and traces of Reunion, Kerguelen, Marion and Crozet hotspots. This is reflected from the correlation between plume affected mobile belts and high heat flow regions, large number of hot springs, anomalous electrical conductivity and also deformation or seismicity. Such correlation can be seen along Cambay, west coast trend, Narmada-Son lineament zone, Godavari-Damodar grabens and Bengal basin. Himalayan belt being ongoing collision zone, thermal anomalies are identified in the form of hot springs along the Himalayan arc. At some locations, which might be junction of tectonic trends, there exist significantly large thermal outputs. Puga in Himalayan region is one such example, as seen from high heat flow (max. 468 mW m− 2) and geothermal gradient (234 °C/km max.). Similarly, Tatapani in Narmada Son Lineament (NSL) region is another such example. The present study discusses the correlation between thermal reservoirs identified by magnetotelluric (MT) study results and plume activity and suggests the need for systematic and detailed MT investigations along plume activated mobile strips in other regions to search for geodynamical history and geothermal resources.  相似文献
