空间编码QuaPA方法的改进与实验

空间编码是GIS与全球空间数据组织与共享的重要基础。针对QuaPA编码方法进行三维与全球空间编码时存在数据冗余和象限二义性问题,采用双Morton编码和象限标识后置方式进行改进,提出QuaPA 方法。介绍QuaPA 编码步骤及其反演原理,并以中国及邻区地表及地下10 km2、0 km以浅的三维球壳空间网格划分为例,分别进行了球壳网格的QuaPA和QuaPA 编码实验。实验表明,QuaPA 编码解决了象限二义性问题,缩短了编码长度,节省了存储空间。     

GIS空间索引方法述评

地理信息系统的主要任务之一是有效地检索空间数据及快速响应不同用户的在线查询。传统的索引方法只能解决一维查询问题,无法满足地理信息系统的要求。该文介绍了GIS中具有代表性的三类空间索引方法,即基于点区域划分的索引方法、基于面区域划分的索引方法和空间实体的地址编码索引方法,并且进行了分析对比。     

空间索引技术及其GIS应用综述

空间索引技术可提供高效的空间数据组织与管理方式,以支撑海量空间数据的挖掘与分析。针对当前空间索引存在的知识体系不明晰、选择难等问题,该文通过文献调查法和CiteSpace工具,依据空间划分及映射方法将空间索引划分为基于树结构、格网、空间填充曲线和地址编码的空间索引四大类,并综述其原理、空间结构、适用范围及在GIS领域的应用,最后对空间索引在数据组织、高效计算、可视化、可靠性等方面的研究进行展望。结论如下：基于树结构的空间索引最具普适性且可以处理多维度及多层次的数据,查询性能依赖于树结构的平衡性及数据的分布;基于格网的空间索引可以均匀划分空间以便于高效范围查询,却不适用于非结构化或动态数据集;基于空间填充曲线的空间索引可以在实现维度压缩的同时保持局部邻近性,但插入或删除数据可能导致整个曲线的重构难以频繁更新;基于地址编码的空间索引将语义地址信息转化为编码信息,便于高效检索,然而语义地址匹配仍存在较大误差和不确定性。研究结果可为空间数据组织和结构设计提供参考。     

基于全球剖分模型的空间信息编码模型初探

为解决由于不同GIS数据模型中同一空间实体的编码不惟一而导致数据共享困难及标识的静态性和无空间位置等问题,鉴于全球剖分模型的全球连续性、多层次性以及剖分面片地址码的全球惟一性,该文提出了基于全球剖分模型的全球空间信息剖分编码(GeoDNA)模型,并设计了该编码模型的系统架构,试图实现全球空间信息的全息表达。通过对遥感影像中的空间实体进行编码试验,表明全球空间信息剖分编码模型将大大增强空间信息的维护与共享能力,加快信息的查询与检索速度,在区域性的应急反应上具有很强的理论和实用价值。     

空间索引技术的应用与研究

1引言与传统的数据库管理系统相比,空间数据库涉及对现实世界大量空间目标的处理,空间目标具有不规则的几何形状、目标间的空间关系复杂,空间数据具有不可排序性、相关性和数据复杂性等特点.针对一维属性数据的主关键字索引而设计的传统数据库索引技术,不能直接应用于空间数据库的索引.空间索引技术一直是数据库技术及相关研究领域的热点问题,本文针对空间数据的特点,讨论了目前主要的空间索引方法,并对空间索引技术在商用数据库中的应用作了介绍。2空间数据及其特点空间数据是指带有空间坐标信息的数据,它不仅能表示实体本身的空间位置及形态,而且还包含实体属性和空间关系的信息。空间数据具有以下特点：     

分布式空间数据服务两级检索方法研究

针对当前分布式多尺度空间数据服务检索效率较低,无法满足集成应用需求的问题,该文提出一种基于两级空间索引结构的分布式多尺度空间数据索引方法,即以空间网格索引为基础,结合空间数据服务元数据管理,实现了空间数据服务及其空间对象的索引。在检索过程中,先通过一级索引检索出目标空间数据服务,再使用二级索引在目标服务内检索出目标数据对象。对二级索引结构和基于服务注册的检索效率的对比测试表明,该方法的效率优于服务注册方法,且随服务数量的增加,效率优势更显著;对单个服务的数据量对二级索引性能的影响进行测试,发现单个数据服务随着数据对象的增加,二级索引的检索时间逐渐增加,但总体检索时间基本可以满足多数应用需求。     

球体退化八叉树网格编码与解码研究

球面离散网格只进行地球表面剖分,而球体退化八叉树网格(SDOG)可对整个球体空间进行多层次连续的三维递归剖分,且网格大小均匀、变形稳定,适合作为全球三维空间基础框架.该文研究SDOG的编码与解码问题,剖析了SDOG网格编码的原理,提出两种网格编码方法,即单层次退化Z曲线填充编码(SDZ)和多层次退化Z曲线填充编码(MDZ),设计了相应的编码与解码算法.通过实验比较了SDZ、MDZ和QuaPA主码在编码效率、解码效率及编码长度方面的差异,结果表明MDZ是一种优异的多分辨率动态网格编码方法,可服务于基于SDOG的全球三维空间基础框架.

基于地理实体的面向对象矢量模型设计

空间数据模型是GIS实现地理空间数据组织、表达、分析、处理和应用的基础。针对基于要素的地理实体矢量描述方法的不足,从地理空间信息一体化管理角度,提出面向对象矢量模型(OOVM),探讨模型体系结构、空间对象的描述方法和空间数据管理模式。该模型利用面向对象的技术,将地理实体抽象为不同的空间对象,并将各空间对象的标识符、属性与方法封装在一起,便于网络环境下地理空间信息的存储和分布式管理。以公司信息管理为例,设计了基于OOVM的分布式空间数据组织过程,为空间数据库的建设和数据共享提供新的方法和思路。     

面向集聚分布空间数据的混合式索引方法研究

空间数据索引技术可以有效地提高空间数据在存储、处理、分析以及地图可视化中的效率,其性能优劣直接影响GIS的整体性能。该文针对格网索引和四叉树索引存在的问题,提出将四叉树嵌入格网形成一种混合式空间索引结构,并分析其原理、数据结构与影响参数。理论分析及实验证明,对于空间集聚分布状态的海量地理数据而言,混合式索引方法以略高的存储代价换取了更高的检索、插入和删除效率,是一种有效的空间索引方案。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
