文章利用“契合”思想,给出了地下弹性夹杂与地面上的等腰三角形凸起地形引起的SH波散射问题的解析解答。利用复平面下坐标移动,通过区域Ⅰ和区域Ⅱ以及区域Ⅱ和区域Ⅲ的“公共边界”位移应力连续条件,建立起求解该问题的无穷代数方程组并截断有限项进行求解,最后通过具体算例及结果分析得出相应结论。  相似文献

<正>The influence of local landforms on ground motion is an important problem.The antiplane response of a scalene triangular hill to incident SH waves is studied in this paper by using a complex function,moving coordinates and auxiliary functions.First,the model is divided into two domains:a scalene triangular hill with a semi-circular bottom;and a half space with a semi-circular canyon.Wave functions that satisfy the zero-stress condition at the triangular wedges and at the horizontal surface are constructed in both domains.Then,considering the displacement continuity and stress equilibrium, algebraic equations are established.Finally,numerical examples are provided to illustrate the influence of the geometry of the hill and the characteristics of the incident waves on the ground motions.  相似文献

Based on the plane complex variable theory and the image technique, an analytical solution is presented for scattering of plane harmonic P, SV or Rayleigh waves by a shallow lined circular tunnel in an elastic half space. The major contribution of this study is the treatment of the orthogonality of the boundary conditions along the half surface and the cavity wall. In terms of the image technique, the scattered waves by the half surface are simulated as transmitting from the image source of the origin of the tunnel. Using two different conformal mapping functions, we obtained the complex-valued stresses and displacements of the elastic medium and the liner in the image domain, respectively. The boundary value problem results in a set of infinite algebraic equations. The accuracy of the present approach is verified by comparing the present solution results with the available published data. Parametric study indicates that the embedment depth, the shear modulus and the thickness of the liner have significant influences on the dynamic response of the liner and the medium.  相似文献

We describe the wave propagation through an irregularly layered, elastic medium for incoming body (SH) and surface (Love) waves. As a result of irregular geometry, each layer generates additional waves by scattering and diffraction. These additional waves modify the input motions and locally may lead to larger motions and concentrations of stresses, strains, and rotations on or below the ground surface. For engineering design, and in particular for analyses of soil-structure interaction, it is important to understand the nature and the consequences of such motions.The scattering and diffraction of Love and SH waves by irregular layers will be investigated by the weighted-residuals method. The scattered and diffracted mode shapes and spectral amplification characteristics at different frequencies will be examined and discussed.  相似文献

Scattering of SH waves by an embedded rigid elliptic cylinder of finite length, which is partially debonded from elastic soil is studied. The debonding regions are modeled as multiple elliptic arc-shaped interface cracks with non-contacting faces. The scattered wave field is expressed as a Mathieu function expansion with unknown coefficients. The mixed boundary conditions of the problem lead to a set of singular integral equations of the first type in terms of the dislocation density functions of the cracks. A quadrature method is used to solve these integral equations numerically. The results for dynamic stress intensity factors, far-field pattern of the displacement and scattering cross sections are presented. We particularly discuss the effects of the ratio of the short radius to long radius of the cylinder.  相似文献

A closed-form solution of two-dimensional scattering of plane SH waves by a cylindrical canyon of circular-arc cross-section in a half-space is studied using the wave functions expansion method. The solution is reduced to solving infinite linear algebraic equations using the Graf's addition theorem in an appropriate form. Numerical results of the solution are obtained by truncation of the infinite equations and accuracies of the truncation are checked by the extent to which the numerical results fit the boundary condition and by convergence of the numerical results with the truncation order. Complicated effects of the depth-to-width ratio of the canyon on surface ground motion are shown by the numerical results for typical cases.  相似文献

Scattering of elastic waves by a three‐dimensional transversely isotropic basin of arbitrary shape embedded in a half‐space is considered using an indirect boundary integral equation approach. The unknown scattered waves are expressed in terms of point sources distributed on the so‐called auxiliary surfaces. The sources are expressed in terms of the full‐space Green's functions with their intensities determined from the requirement that the boundary and the continuity conditions are to be satisfied in the least‐squares sense. Steady‐state results were obtained for incident plane pseudo‐P‐, SH‐, SV‐, and Rayleigh waves. Using the Radon transform the Green's functions are obtained in the form of finite integrals over a unit sphere or a unit circle which can be numerically evaluated very efficiently. Detailed analysis of the method includes the discussion on the shape of the auxiliary surfaces and the distribution of the collocation points and sources. The convergence criteria is defined in terms of transparency tests, isotropic limit test, and minimization of a certain norm. The isotropic limit tests show excellent agreement with the isotropic results available in literature. For anisotropic materials the numerical results are given for a semispherical basin. The results show that presence of an anisotropic basin may result in significant amplification of surface motion atop the basin. While the amplitude of peak surface motion may be similar to the corresponding isotropic results, the difference in the displacement patterns may be quite different between the two. Therefore, this study clearly demonstrates that material anisotropy may be very important for accurate assessment of surface ground motion amplification atop basins. A closed-form solution of two-dimensional scattering of plane SH waves by a cylindrical alluvial valley of circular-arc cross-section in a half-space is presented using the wave functions expansion. The solution is reduced to solving a set of infinite linear algebraic equations using the exterior region form of Graf's addition theorem. Numerical solutions are obtained by truncation of the infinite equations and their accuracies are demonstrated by convergence of the numerical results to the exact boundary condition with the increasing of the truncation order. The present solution is compared with the existing one presented by Todorovska and Lee for the same problem and their differences are analysed. Complicated effects of the depth-to-width ratio of the alluvial valley on surface ground motion are finally illustrated.  相似文献

In seismic exploration, elastic waves are sent to investigate subsurface geology. However, the transmission and interpretation of the elastic wave propagation is complicated by various factors. One major reason is that the earth can be a very complex medium. Nevertheless, in this paper, we model some terrestrial material as an elastic medium consisting of randomly distributed inclusions with a considerable concentration. The waves incident on such an inhomogeneous medium undergo multiple scattering due to the presence of inclusions. Consequently, the wave energy is redistributed thereby reducing the amplitude of the coherent wave.The coherent or average wave is assumed to be propagating in a homogeneous continuum characterized by a bulk complex wavenumber. This wavenumber depends on the frequency of the probing waves; and on the physical properties and the concentration of discrete scatterers, causing the effective medium to be dispersive. With the help of multiple scattering theory, we are able to analytically predict the attenuation of the transmitted wave intensity as well as the dispersion of the phase velocity. These two sets of data are valuable to the study of the inverse scattering problems in seismology. Some numerical results are presented and also compared, if possible, with experimental measurements.  相似文献

本文采用多级坐标和复变函数方法针对半无限空间中P波在一衬砌周围的散射问题提出了一种近似求解分析方法。具体做法是利用一个半径很大的圆来逼近半空间的直边界,将待解问题转化为全空间中P波在一圆孔和一衬砌周围的共同散射问题。我们预先写出问题波函数的一般形式解,利用边界条件并借助复数傅立叶级数展开把问题化为求解波函数中未知系数的无穷线性代数方程组,进而讨论了衬砌内外边界处动应力集中系数针对不同条件组合的分布和变化情况。算例结果表明:本文方法对于研究与P波(SV波)有关的散射问题是可行的。  相似文献

This paper reports a series solution of wave functions for two-dimensional scattering and diffraction of plane SH waves induced by a symmetrical V-shaped canyon with different shape ratios. A half-space with a symmetrical V-shaped canyon is divided into two sub-regions by using a circular-arc auxiliary boundary. The two sub-regions are represented by global and local cylindrical coordinate systems, respectively. In each coordinate system, the wave field satisfying the Helmholtz equation is represented by the separation of variables method, in terms of the series of both Bessel functions and Hankel functions with unknown complex coefficients. Then, the two wave fields are described in the local coordinate system using the Graf addition theorem. Finally, the unknown coefficients are sought by satisfying the continuity conditions of the auxiliary boundary. To consider the phase characteristics of the wave scattering, a parametric analysis is carried out in the time domain by assuming an incident signal of the Ricker type. Surface and subsurface transient responses demonstrate the characteristics and mechanisms of wave propagating and scattering.  相似文献

This paper presents a simple, flexible way of introducing stress-free boundary conditions for including cracks and cavities in 2D elastic media by a finite difference method (FDM). The surfaces of cracks and cavities are discretized in a staircase on a rectangular grid scheme. When zero-stress is applied to free surfaces, the resulting finite difference schemes require a set of adjacent fictitious points. These points are classified based on the geometry of the free surface and their displacement is computed as a prior step to later calculation of motion on the crack surface. The use of this extra line of points does not involve a significant drain on computational resources. However, it does provide explicit finite difference schemes and the construction of displacement on the free surfaces by using the correct physical boundary conditions. An accuracy analysis compares the results to an analytical solution. This quantitative analysis uses envelope and phase misfits. It estimates the minimum number of points per wavelength necessary to achieve suitable results. Finally, the method is employed to compute displacement in various models with cavities in the P-SV formulation. The results show suitable construction of the reflected P and S waves from the free surface as well as diffraction produced by these cavities.  相似文献

We theoretically study the scattering ofP, SV andSH waves by a zonal distribution of cracks, which simulates a fault fracture zone. An investigation is conducted how the geometrical properties of the crack distribution and the frictional characteristics of the crack surface are reflected in the attenuation and dispersion of incident waves, as well as in the amplitudes of the transmitted and reflected waves from the zone. If the crack distribution within the fault zone changes temporally during the preparation process of the expected earthquake, it will be important for earthquake prediction to monitor it, utilizing the scattering-induced wave phenomena.We consider the two-dimensional problem. Aligned cracks with the same length are assumed to be randomly distributed in a zone with a finite width, on which elastic waves are assumed to be incident. The distribution of cracks is assumed to be homogeneous and sparse. The crack surface is assumed to be stress-free, or to undergo viscous friction; the latter case simulates fluid-filled cracks. The opening displacement of the crack is assumed to be negligibly small. The idea of the mean wave formalism is employed in the analysis, and Foldy's approximation is assumed.When the crack surface is stress-free, it is commonly observed for every wave mode (P, SV andSH) that the attenuation coefficientQ –1 peaks aroundka1, the phase velocity is almost independent ofk in the rangeka<1 and it increases monotonically withk in the rangeka>1, wherek is the intrinsicS wavenumber anda is the half length of the crack. The effect of the friction is to shift the peak ofQ –1 and the corner of the phase velocity curve to the low wavenumber range. The high wavenumber asymptote ofQ –1 is proportional tok –1 independently of model parameters and the wave modes. If the seismological observation thatQ –1 ofS waves has a peak at around 0.5 Hz in the earth's crust is combined with our results, the upper limit of crack size within the crust is estimated about 4 km. The information regarding the transmitted and reflected waves, such as the high wavenumber limit of the amplitude of the transmitted wave etc., allows estimation of the strength of the friction.  相似文献

在Biot饱和土波动理论的基础上,采用波函数展开法,研究了饱和土体中单个圆柱体对倾斜入射PI波的散射特性,计算了背向散射谱和总散射截面积。结果表明,饱和土体中PI波倾斜入射时,随着倾斜入射角的增大,总散射截面积在减小,产生的散射波主要以PI波和SV波为主;随着饱和土体渗透系数的减小,PI波、PⅡ波和SV波背向散射谱平均幅值均呈增大趋势,但PI波背向散射谱幅值变化程度较小。  相似文献
