Design of a model blasting system to measure peak p-wave stress   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Literature review information and model scale rock blasting tests have been utilized to study the effects of some blast and fragmentation parameters on peak p-wave stress. A method for modelling scaled blasting in sandstone blocks with dimensions 515×335×215 mm3 has been presented. The dynamic and static properties of the sandstone are given. The results from model blasting experiments instrumented with pressure gauges are discussed. It is also shown there exists a useful correlation between blast, fragmentation parameters and peak p-wave stress.  相似文献

土石坝在爆炸荷载下的力学响应是一个非常复杂的力学问题,相关研究甚少。在LS-DYNA软件框架内,以两河口土石坝为研究对象,把坝体材料简化为混凝土、心墙、反滤层与堆石体等4种,用500 kg TNT在坝顶接触爆炸时的瞬态荷载作为荷载源,针对不同材料建立适合于爆炸高加载率特征的本构模型,用数值方法分析了土石坝在潜在爆炸荷载下的破坏与损伤演化规律。结果表明,在爆炸荷载作用下,由于土石坝材料组成的多样性,应力波传播规律异常复杂,土石坝的力学响应呈现出显著的分区特征。  相似文献

The May 22, 1915 eruptions of Lassen Peak involved a volcanic blast and the emplacement of three geographically and temporally distinct lahar deposits. The volcanic blast occurred when a Vulcanian explosion at the summit unroofed a shallow magma source, generating an eruption cloud that rose to an estimated height of 9 km above sea level. The blast cloud was probably caused by the collapse of a small portion of the eruption column; absence of a flank vent associated with these eruptions argues against it originating as an explosion that has been directed by vent geometry or location. The volcanic blast devasted 7 km2 of the northeast flank of the volcano, and emplaced a deposit of juvenile tephra and accidental lithic and mineral fragments. Decrease in blast deposit thickness and median grain size with increasing distance from the vent suggests that the blast cloud lost transport competence as it crossed the devastated area. Scanning electron microscope examination of pyroclasts from the blast deposit indicates that the blast cloud was a dry, turbulent suspension that emplaced a thin deposit which cooled rapidly after deposition. Lahar deposits were emplaced primarily in Lost Creek, with minor lahars flowing down gullies on the west, northwest and north flanks of the volcano. The initial lahar was apparently triggered early in the eruption when the blast cloud melted the residual snowpack as it moved down the northeast flank of the peak. The event that triggered the later lahars is enigmatic; the presence of approximately five times more juvenile dacite bombs on the surface of the later lahars suggests that they may have been triggered by a change in eruption style or dynamics.  相似文献

纤维增强复合材料(Fiber Reinforced Polymer,简称"FRP")具有轻质高强、耐腐蚀、耐疲劳和低导热系数等优点,现已广泛应用于土木工程各领域。针对FRP约束钢筋混凝土结构的抗爆性能,通过综述近年来国内外爆炸荷载下FRP约束钢筋混凝土结构动力响应的研究现状及进展,表明FRP材料的约束对钢筋混凝土结构的抗爆性能有显著的提高作用。此外,从相关理论研究、试验研究和数值模拟3个方面介绍了主要成果。针对现有成果,对爆炸荷载下FRP约束钢筋混凝土结构动力响应研究提出了需要进一步研究和解决的问题,可为后续研究提供一定的参考。  相似文献

应用LS-DYNA软件建立了北京比较典型的2层地铁车站有限元模型,通过数值模拟方法分析地铁车站发生内部爆炸时,爆炸波在地铁车站内部的传播规律。研究表明:①在0.3m/kg~(1/3)〈Z〈1.6m/kg~(1/3)范围内,车站内部超压峰值可用Henrych经验公式估算;②爆炸波在地铁车站的封闭空间不断出现反射、绕射现象,使得结构构件遭受多次冲击作用;③楼梯口起到了一定的泄爆作用。本文研究结果可供地铁车站的抗爆设计与安全分析参考。  相似文献

—?On September 29, 1996, a routine mining blast of about 390 metric tons was detonated underground at the Kirovskiy mine in the central Kola Peninsula. The United States was notified two weeks in advance that the blast was to take place and was given the date, approximate time, location and total charge. The explosion was detected and located by the prototype International Data Center (pIDC) and published in the Reviewed Event Bulletin (REB). Detailed information about the blast, including the type and depth of mining operation, the underground charge configuration, and the blasting delay pattern, is reviewed and combined with a seismological analysis of the event. The seismic analysis points to a possible associated tectonic component to the blast, consisting of a small rock burst or induced tremor, spall, or some combination of these mechanisms, that may have enhanced the shear waves, produced large Rg waves at low frequency, and small Pn/Sn and Pn/Lg amplitude ratios at high frequency. While these discriminants might identify the event as an earthquake, the spectral/cepstral analysis of the event clearly shows the ripple-fire delays. This event provides important confidence-building measures for both location calibration, in the form of travel-time corrections for location of mine events in this region, and for improved understanding of seismic discriminants expected for large mine blasts that may have an associated induced tectonic component (e.g., spall, mine tremor or rock burst).  相似文献

为研究高强钢绞线网-聚合物砂浆加固混凝土板的抗爆能力,用混凝土HJC动力本构模型,建立了混凝土板、炸药及考虑空气介质影响的流固耦合有限元计算模型。用动力分析软件ANSYS/LS-DYNA,对在爆炸荷载作用下加固前、后混凝土板的破坏形态和抗爆性能进行了数值分析。研究结果表明:混凝土板用高强钢绞线网-聚合物砂浆加固后,抗爆炸冲击能力明显提高。当小药量爆炸时,板顶、板底同时加固的效果明显优于板底单一加固;当药量较大时,板顶、板底同时加固的效果与板底单一加固相差不大。  相似文献

A prediction model for frequency spectrum of blast‐induced seismic waves is established. The effect of explosive sources is considered in this model. Our model implies that the frequency spectrum of blast‐induced seismic wave is mainly influenced by the initial pressure and the adiabatic exponent of explosives. The dominant frequency increases with the decreasing of initial pressure or the increasing of adiabatic exponent. In addition, this prediction model is verified by the experiment. The error of the dominant frequency is 4%–6%. It is indicated that the proposed model in this paper can reasonably predict the frequency spectrum of blast‐induced seismic waves, and then, we can provide a better frequency spectrum by optimizing the explosion source.  相似文献

The response of underground structures subjected to subsurface blast is an important topic in protective engineering. Due to various constraints, pertinent experimental data are extremely scarce. Adequately detailed numerical simulation thus becomes a desirable alternative. However, the physical processes involved in the explosion and blast wave propagation are very complex, hence a realistic and detailed reproduction of the phenomena would require sophisticated numerical models for the loading and material responses. In this paper, a fully coupled numerical model is used to simulate the response of a buried concrete structure under subsurface blast, with emphasis on the comparative performance of 2D and 3D modeling schemes. The explosive charge, soil medium and the RC structure are all incorporated in a single model system. The SPH (smooth particle hydrodynamics) technique is employed to model the explosive charge and the close-in zones where large deformation takes place, while the normal FEM is used to model the remaining soil region and the buried structure. Results show that the 2D model can provide reasonably accurate results concerning the crater size, blast loading on the structure, and the critical response in the front wall. The response in the remaining part of the structure shows noticeable differences between the 2D and 3D models. Based on the simulation results, the characteristics of the in-structure shock environment are also discussed in terms of the shock response spectra.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to predict peak particle velocity level at a limestone quarry located in Istanbul, Turkey. The ground vibration components were measured for 73 blast events during the bench blast optimization studies during a long period. In blasting operations; ANFO (blasting agent), gelatine dynamite (priming) and NONEL detonators (firing) were used as explosives at this site. Parameters of scaled distance (charge quantity per delay and the distance between the source and the station) were recorded carefully and the ground vibration components were measured by means of vibration monitors for every event. Then, the data pairs of scaled distance and particle velocity were analyzed. The equation of scaled distance extensively used in the literature was taken into consideration for the prediction of peak particle velocity. At the end of statistical evaluations, an empirical relationship with good correlation was established between peak particle velocity and scale distance for this site. The established relationship and the results of the study are presented.  相似文献

Facies variations east-northeast of Mount St. Helens preserve a record of depositional processes in the 18 May 1980 lateral blast cloud. This paper reports new field, grain-size and component data from the ENE sector of the timber-blowdown zone and presents a model for blast flow and sedimentation. The first-erupted ejecta was rich in juvenile components and extends to the distal blowdown limit. The last-erupted ejecta was rich in accidental lithics and reached no further than a few kilometres from the mountain due to waning discharge. The blast cloud was a turbulent stratified flow which transported and deposited sediment in the manner of a high-density turbidity current. The possibility that the blast was emplaced as a giant shearing fluidised bed is not favoured by compositional zoning patterns. Depositional conditions were strongly influenced by the rate of suspended-load fallout from the blast. Within about 8 km from vent rapid sedimentation caused deposition under moderate to high concentration conditions and formation of a basal hindered-settling zone able to detach gravitationally and drain into local depressions. The resulting proximal facies resembles a low-aspect-ratio ignimbrite. Fines depletion in the proximal facies is attributed to a combination of residual turbulence and rapid gas escape during particle settling and compaction through the hindered-settling zone. Component data suggest that the blast head played no significant role in the generation of fines depletion in the blast deposit as suggested by previous workers. With increasing distance from vent the rate of particle fallout declined and sedimentation took place under increasingly dilute and tractional conditions, building up antidune-like bedforms. Wavelengths of these bedforms range from 20 to <1 m, and decrease away from vent. There is a systematic relationship between antidune migration direction and depositional slope. The transition from proximal (ignimbrite-like) to distal (surge-like) facies suggests a possible gradation in transport and deposition processes between conventional pyroclastic surges and high-velocity pyroclastic flows.  相似文献

In order to estimate the influence of seismic effects from quarry blasts on the state of rock massif by means of electrotomography, magnetometry, and seismological observations, the variations in the physical properties of rocks before and after massive blasts have been studied. Experimental monitoring along the geophysical profile directed across one of the regional faults crossing the quarry field of the Neryungri open-pit coal mine has revealed no significant changes in the magnetic field after blasts. The revealed features include an increase in the electrical resistivity of rocks in the blast-directed wall of the tectonic fault and a decrease in the fault zone; the change in electrical resistivity in the hanging wall is insignificant. It has been found that the change in physical properties of the rock massif is determined mostly by the state (frozen or thawed) of the rocks, rather than by the power of the blast.  相似文献

Little is known about the spatial and temporal distribution of blast fishing which hampers enforcement against this activity. We have demonstrated that a triangular array of hydrophones 1 m apart is capable of detecting blast events whilst effectively rejecting other sources of underwater noise such as snapping shrimp and nearby boat propellers. A total of 13 blasts were recorded in Sepangor bay, North of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia from 7th to 15th July 2002 at distances estimated to be up to 20 km, with a directional uncertainty of 0.2 degrees . With such precision, a network of similar hydrophone arrays has potential to locate individual blast events by triangulation to within 30 m at a range of 10 km.  相似文献

Current codes of practice in assessing the blast ground motion effect on structures are mainly based on the ground peak particle velocity (PPV) or PPV and the principal frequency (PF) of the ground motion. PPV and PF of ground motion from underground explosions are usually estimated by empirical formulae derived from field blast tests. Not many empirical formulae for PF, but many empirical formulae for PPV are available in the literature. They were obtained from recorded data either on ground surface or in the free field (inside the geological medium). Owing to the effect of surface reflection, blast motions on ground surface and in the free field are very different. But not many publications in the open literature discuss the differences of blast motions on ground surface and in the free field. Moreover, very few publications discuss the blast ground motion spatial variation characteristics. As ground motion directly affects structural responses, it is very important to study its characteristics in order to more reliably assess its effects on structures. In this paper, a validated numerical model is used to simulate stress wave at a granite site owing to explosion in an underground chamber. Using the simulated stress wave, the relations such as PPV and PF attenuation as well as spatial variation of motions on ground surface and in the free field are derived. Discussions on the differences of the characteristics of surface and free field motions are made. Results presented in this paper can be used in a more detailed assessment of ground motion effect on structures.  相似文献

In this paper we present a model, which describes the propagation of acoustic impulses produced by flight of rockets through a model terrestrial atmosphere, and effect of these impulses onto the ionosphere above a rocket. We show, that experimentally observed ionospheric disturbances with duration about 300 s cannot be explained by effect of acoustic impulses onto the ionosphere. We have calculated parameters of a blast wave produced by launch vehicle on the ionospheric heights. It was shown that the blast wave is intense and this wave can generate great disturbance of electron density. The disturbance of electron density can exceed the ambient electron density in 2.6 times. We supposed that the observed ionospheric disturbances might be produced by propagation of delayed magnetoacoustic wave, which, in turn, was produced by the blast wave.  相似文献
