The petrogeochemical and geochronological correlations were carried out between boudined fragments of tonalitic rocks previously dated at Neoarchean, quartzite sandstones, and host amphibolites in the Yenisei Regional Shear Zone of the Yenisei Ridge in order to solve the problem of age of the Transangarian Yenisei Ridge basement. Detrital zircons in metasandstones can be derived from the Neoarchean–Paleoproterozoic crystalline rocks of the Angara–Kan block. Interpretation of available data does not confirm the inferred presence of the Early Precambrian basement of the Siberian Craton beneath the Transangarian Yenisei Ridge.  相似文献

Based on analysis of new data on the geodynamical nature, ages of formation, and magmatic sources of contrasting rocks from the tectonic mélange of the Yenisei shear zone, the chronological sequence related to early stages in the evolution of the Paleoasian Ocean was established. The data obtained specify the legend and stratigraphic scheme of the Yenisei Group and peculiarities in the evolution of the Sayany–Yenisei accretionary belt at the final stage of its Neoproterozoic history.

Sources of Dissolved Organic Carbon in Rivers of the Yenisei River Basin   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The spatial and temporal variations in concentrations of dissolved organic carbon in the Yenisei River and its major tributaries are analyzed. The results obtained suggest that the maximal contribution to the flows of dissolved organic carbon in the Yenisei River is made by cryohydromorphic forest landscapes of the Central Siberian Plateau.  相似文献

The geodynamic nature of the Late Neoproterozoic island-arc dacites (691 ± 8.8 Ma) and rift basalts (572 ± 6.5 Ma) of the Kiselikhinskaya Formation, Kutukasskaya Group, in the Isakovskii terrane is inferred from geochemical data and U–Pb zircon (SHRIMP-II) dates. The volcanic rocks were produced during the late evolutionary history of the Yenisei Range, starting at the origin of oceanic crustal fragments and their accretion to the Siberian craton to the postaccretionary crustal extension and the onset of the Caledonian orogenesis. The reproduced sequence of geological processes marks the early evolution of the Paleo- Asian Ocean in its junction zone with the Siberian craton. The data refine the composition and age of volcanic rocks in the trans-Angara part of the Yenisei Range and specifics of the Neoproterozoic evolution of the Sayan–Yenisei accretionary belt.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a study of the geochemistry of bottom sediments from the zones of mixing between the freshwater of the Ob and Yenisei rivers and the saline water of the Kara Sea by means of neutron activation analysis. Using separate datasets for the sediments of the Ob and Yenisei estuaries accumulated under identical facies conditions, some characteristic features of the distribution of a number of chemical elements (mostly lithophile group elements) were established. The differences between them were attributed to distinctive regional geological and geochemical features of the catchments of the Ob and Yenisei, which are inherited by the geochemical characteristics of terrigenous material transported to the sea. The choice of the most informative indicator elements and their grouping on the basis of the character of behavior demonstrated that bottom sediments of the Ob or Yenisei origin can be identified in the marine region studied using the geochemical characteristics of a small group of samples.  相似文献

This study characterizes some issues of the Paleozoic and Mesozoic tectonomagmatic evolution of Precambrian structures from the southwestern margin of the Siberian craton. The relationship between the Devonian and Triassic magmatic events is demonstrated from the example of the Severnaya rift-related structure, South Yenisei Ridge. U-Pb SHRIMP dating yielded ages of 387 ± 5 Ma for leucogranites and 240 ± 3 Ma for the overlying alkaline trachytes. These ages show good agreement with Ar-Ar geochronological data (392–387 Ma) obtained for micas from paragneisses and leucogranite dykes of the Yenisei suture zone, the extension of which is superimposed by the studied rift-related structure. The previous geological evidence and the Devonian age estimate first obtained for magmatic rocks of the Yenisei Ridge allow us to interpret the studied leucogranites as products of Devonian continental rifting, similar to volcanic and intrusive rocks of the North Minusa depression and Agul graben. Like other localities within the western margin of Siberian craton, the formation of Triassic alkaline rocks may be related to the Siberian superplume activity.  相似文献

Two bottom sediment cores (BP00-23/7 and BP00-7/6) recovered from the Yenisei transect in the southern Kara Sea are described. Data on their grain size composition, clay and heavy mineral assemblages, and distribution of a large group of chemical elements are presented. Radiocarbon dates based on AMS C-14 method suggest the Holocene age of sediments in the cores. Literature data on physical properties and foraminifers have also been analyzed. The facies affiliation of the lithostratigraphic subdivisions has been unraveled. History of the Yenisei River runoff in the Holocene has been reconstructed on the basis of different indicators.  相似文献

The section of Kazanian marine sediments in the mouth of the Yenisei in the area of Ladygin Yar is studied with use of electron spin resonance analysis of shell remains of malacofauna and infrared optically stimulated luminescence analyses of grains of field spars. The results obtained fall within the interval from 77 000 to 71 000 years, which allows one to associate this strata with the final stage of the Kazanian transgression. Transgress sediments with vast boreal fauna of marine mollusks including representative species Arctica islandica accumulated during the MIS 5 period eliminate the possibility of existence of a glacial environment in the lower courses of the Yenisei and, moreover, the location of the region under the shield of ice sheet within this period.  相似文献

In this paper we present complex geological, petrographic and geochronological data of the study of intermediate and acid composition intrusive and volcanogenic rocks from the Porozhnaya massif of the South Yenisei Ridge. For the first time in the Yenisei Ridge Devonian and Triassic U-Pb age values (SHRIMP method) have been obtained for leucogranites—387 ± 5 Ma and alkaline trachytes—240 ± 3 Ma, which allows us to attribute them to two different complexes, despite the fact that these rocks were formed within the same Severnaya riftogenic structure. Geochronological Ar-Ar data (392–387 Ma) for micas from paragneisses and leucogranitic dikes of the Yenisei suture zone on whose extension the Severnaya riftogenic structure is located are also given in this study. These data on Devonian tectonic-magmatic events in the South Yenisei Ridge agree well with coeval events of continental rifting—the formation of intrusive and volcanogenic rocks of the Agul graben in the Prisayan region and the Minusa basin in the Altai-Sayan folded area. The forming of alkaline trachytes and alkaline syenites of the Severnaya riftogenic structure, for which an age of 240 ± 3 Ma has been established, is related to the trap magmatism of the Siberian platform.  相似文献

A new interpretation of the seismic profile series for the Taimyr Orogen and the Yenisei–Khatanga Basin is given in terms of their tectonics and geological history. The tectonics and tectonostratigraphy of the Yenisei–Khatanga and the Khatanga–Lena basins are considered. In the Late Vendian and Early Paleozoic, a passive continental margin and postrift shelf basin existed in Taimyr and the Yenisei–Khatanga Basin. From the Early Carboniferous to the Mid-Permian, the North and Central Taimyr zones were involved in orogeny. The Late Paleozoic foredeep was formed in the contemporary South Taimyr Zone. In the Middle to Late Triassic, a new orogeny took place in the large territory of Taimyr and the Noril’sk district of the Siberian Platform. A synorogenic foredeep has been recognized for the first time close to the Yenisei–Khatanga Basin. In the Jurassic and Early Cretaceous, this basin was subsided under transpressional conditions. Thereby, anticlinal swells were formed from the Callovian to the Aptian. Their growth continued in the Cenozoic. The Taimyr Orogen underwent tectonic reactivation and apparently right-lateral transpression from Carboniferous to Cenozoic.  相似文献

Based on the correlation between Lower Cambrian sections of deep wells on the left bank of the Yenisei River and outcrops in the westernmost Yenisei Ridge, the sedimentologic characteristics of the Usolka Formation and coeval deposits are compared. Three paleogeographic regions (subbasins) are distinguished in the Cis-Yenisei basin in Usolka time. The leading role in the sediment genesis was played by the region of barrier reefs stretching northwestward and northward as a ~ 70 km wide band to their joint with the reefs of the Igarka-Noril’sk facies region in the north. The salt basin east of the barrier reef ridge was a bay of the East Siberian salt basin, separated from the latter by the Yenisei paleoislands (at the place of the Yenisei Ridge). Sedimentation in that basin was controlled by evaporite processes, the supply of terrigenous material from the islands and carbonate debris from the opposite side (barrier reef), and the predominance of storm processes. The subbasin west of the barrier reefs evolved under different scenario. Since the Early Cambrian, a trough has been forming here, which was initially characterized by a regime of starvation and the first appearance of carbonaceous rocks (Lower Churbiga Subformation), regarded as Domanic oil source rocks, in the general Cambrian section. On the estimation of the prospects for the distribution of reservoirs whose origin depends on the facies regularities, the leading role is played by the barrier reef region. Importantly, the Lower Cambrian section of the Cis-Yenisei basin contains two large adjacent paleogeomorphologic structures and the corresponding facies zones of a starved prereef depression with the Domanic oil source rocks of the Lower Churbiga Subformation at the early stage of evolution and a potentially productive barrier reef system with a steep slope toward the basin. The favorable combination of these factors suggests that the Cis-Yenisei basin has a high petroleum potential.  相似文献

New paleontological finds in sediments of the Upper Vendian Nemakit-Dadynian Stage from different areas of the southern Siberian Platforms (Yenisei Range, Sayany region, central areas, Patom Highland) are discussed. The base of the Lower Cambrian Tommotian Stage (∼540 Ma) is established at the first appearance level of characteristic small-shelled fossils in the western part of the Patom Highland. This boundary coincides with the episode of a brief sea-level fall and enhanced terrigenous sedimentation in the basin with dominant carbonate sediment deposition. The base of the Purella antiqua Zone (544 Ma), which is registered by paleontological data in the Yenisei Range sections, is marked by the replacement of terrigenous sedimentation by the carbonate one. In the northwestern Yenisei Range, this boundary coincides, in addition, with a major hiatus and subsequent paleobasin extension. The base of the Nemakit-Daldynian Stage (base of the Anabarites trisulcatus Zone, ∼550 Ma) in most sections corresponds to the onset of sea transgression. In addition to small-shelled remains, sediments of this zone contain characteristic ichnofossils and Vendotaenia flora. It is shown that defined boundaries are traceable through the entire southern part of the Siberian Platform. This makes them useful for wider stratigraphic interpretations.  相似文献
