滑面的摩擦特性是高速岩质滑坡动力学研究的关键问题之一。以典型脆性灰岩为研究对象,借助滚动磨损试验设备,开展不同压力和转速条件下干燥和湿润灰岩的滚动摩擦试验,研究岩石动态摩擦特性(摩擦系数和磨损率)。试验结果表明,干燥和湿润岩石的滚动摩擦系数分别与摩擦速率呈负相关和正相关,与法向压力关系不明显。对于干燥灰岩,滚动试件(滑体)和静止试件(滑床)的磨损率与摩擦速率分别呈正相关和负相关。对于湿润灰岩,磨损率与摩擦速率呈正相关。基于Hertz弹性接触理论,推导出摩擦斑处的最大压应力和拉应力,进而提出相应条件下脆性灰岩的摩擦碎裂机制。结论可为灰岩高速滑坡防灾减灾提供设计参数。  相似文献

Several models of a seismic regime and block dynamics that are based on frictional self-oscillations in systems with nonlinear dry friction are considered. The set of Burridge-Knopoff models is presented to describe the generation of earthquakes with the relative movement of the fault sides. The disk model, which describes rotary dynamics of the crustal blocks, and the model of the block dynamics in the foredeeps, are examined. It is established that a regime of chaotic oscillations exists in a certain range of parameters (frictional force, the velocity of leading blocks, etc.) in the considered systems. Earthquakes are recognized as resulting from a stick–slip frictional instability along faults. Based on the node‐to‐point contact element strategy (an arbitrarily shaped contact element strategy applied with the static‐explicit algorithm for modelling non‐linear frictional contact problems proposed by authors), a finite element code for modelling the 3‐D non‐linear friction contact between deformable bodies has been developed and extended here to analyse the non‐linear stick–slip frictional instability between deformable rocks with a rate‐ and state‐dependent friction law. A typical fault bend model is taken as an application example to be analysed here. The variations of the normal contact force, the frictional force, the transition of stick–slip instable state and the related relative slip velocity along the fault between the deformable rocks and the stress evolution in the total bodies during the different stages are investigated, respectively. The calculated results demonstrate the usefulness of this code for simulating the non‐linear frictional instability between deformable rocks. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Disk clusters are developed to represent the shape of granular materials more precisely (compared to circular particles) and to minimise excessive rolling. Investigating the behaviour of dynamic disk-based discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) with disk clusters is very important to evaluate the applicability of disk-based DDA to dynamic problems in geomechanics. In this paper, the accuracy of disk-based DDA under dynamic conditions is studied by a comprehensive sensitivity analysis. The results obtained by disk-based DDA are compared with the analytical solutions of a disk cluster on an incline subjected to gravitational force only, and three different accelerations of increasing complexity with sinusoidal input functions as well as gravitational load. In this research, the effects of time step size and interface friction angles on the results are studied. Overall, most of the error for both velocity and displacement occurs at the beginning of the solution. With increasing friction angle, the initial perturbation of the solution increases in the case of sliding under gravitational force only, and decreases in the case of sliding under dynamic loads. This study shows that disk-based DDA predicts accurately the velocities and displacements derived with respect to the frictional resistance offered by the inclines.  相似文献

顶管顶进阻力由顶管机的迎面阻力和管节与土体间的摩阻力两部分组成,现有的顶力估算公式都具有一定的适用条件,虽然物理意义明确,但参数取值范围较大,往往估算顶力与实际工程顶力的匹配程度较低,尤其是在三维曲线顶管工程中受曲线段的影响,准确估算顶力的难度更大。以长413.0 m,外径为3.8 m,最小曲率半径为313.7 m的三维曲线顶管工程为研究对象,基于现有的顶力公式估算所需顶力大小并布设中继间,在该工程实测数据的基础上分析顶力组成及其与顶程、顶进曲率半径等影响因素之间的关系和顶管在平面曲线和垂直剖面曲线以不同曲率半径顶进的摩阻力变化规律。分析结果显示,曲线顶管摩阻力附加系数是真实存在的,且工程实测值与经验值有所偏差,但顶管在淤泥或黏土层中顶进时的摩阻力按规程推荐取值能够满足工程实践需求。最后提出了顶力估算及中继间的布置建议,为类似工程提供依据。  相似文献

就微观结构而言,矿物颗粒之间或相互粘结或相互分离,Coulomb准则的粘结力和内摩擦力在局部不能同时存在.粘结力是在变形作用下丧失的,材料丧失粘结力之后通过摩擦承载.若承载能力降低,屈服破坏仅在局部断面发生,具有脆性特征;反之将发生分布的屈服破坏,具有延性特征.围压增加可以使裂隙能够承载的摩擦力超过岩石材料的粘结力,那么当轴向应力增加到粘结力时,材料发生剪切屈服产生塑性变形,而摩擦力不会增加到其最大值,裂隙也不发生滑移.利用摩擦的概念可以理解不同岩石的变形、承载和破坏随围压变化的特征.   相似文献

参照现有的静力法计算桩侧摩阻力的公式,提出了根据固结快剪c、j指标计算桩侧摩阻力的计算公式,其中有多个参数待定。根据收集到的上海地区19个工程摩擦型预制桩的试桩成果,采用最小二乘法,确定了上海地区主要软土层的待定参数,由统计得到的桩侧摩阻力的计算公式,计算出各试桩在各主要软土层的桩侧摩阻力和各试桩的极限承载力。结果表明,同一土层的各试桩桩侧摩阻力相关性较好,基本符合正态分布规律;单桩承载力计算值与实测值之间的误差较小;用上海地区主要软土层固结快剪c、j指标的上下限可以计算得到桩侧摩阻力上下限,根据19个工程统计得到的平均桩侧摩阻力在上下限之间;桩侧摩阻力的深度效应不明显,桩端持力层条件对桩侧摩阻力发挥有影响。  相似文献

为研究珊瑚砂地基下膨胀混凝土桩竖向承载特性,开展了室内单桩竖向静载模型试验,分析了膨胀混凝土桩的单桩荷载-位移曲线以及轴力、桩侧摩阻力等沿桩长分布特性,与PLAXIS 3D软件数值模拟结果进行对比并探究了线膨胀率对承载特性的影响。结果表明:珊瑚砂中膨胀混凝土桩的荷载位移曲线呈现缓变型,在加载过程中,荷载主要由桩侧摩阻力承担,轴力随着深度的增加而减小,桩侧摩阻力随深度先增加后逐渐减小,随荷载的增加逐渐发挥作用。随着膨胀剂用量的增加,桩身线膨胀量逐渐增加,桩-土相互作用更加明显。添加25% HCSA型膨胀剂可提高近20%的极限承载力和56%的极限侧阻力,提高桩体线膨胀率可以有效提高桩的极限承载力和侧摩阻力。该研究可为珊瑚砂桩基工程设计提供参考。  相似文献

Rock friction varies as a function of mainly four parameters that are waiting time and velocity of motion between two frictional surfaces, surface roughness and normal stress. In this paper, a study on former two aspects of rock frictional behaviour has been attempted for granitic rock surface. In one experiment, waiting time for which the two surfaces remain in contact is increased from 20 seconds to 18 hours. In the second experiment, waiting time is kept constant for a series of rock slip experiments where the velocity is increased from 10??m/sec to 350??m/sec. The value of critical velocity is obtained from transformation of the stick slip motion to steady motion occurs. The relation of coefficients of dynamic and static friction with increasing velocity of motion is studied and these are used to calculate the frictional constants, namely ??a?? and ??b?? specific to the chosen simulation type.  相似文献

The stick-slip of frictional sliding depends not only on material properties but also on the elastic and inertial properties of the loading system. To compare data from different testing machines or to apply them to the problem of natural seismogenic faulting, one must account for the differences in stiffness and mass. We develop a simple mechanical model to describe the stick-slip oscillation during frictional sliding in a triaxial-compression machine. The experimental system, the loading frame and rock specimen with precut sliding surface, is divided into two subsystems across this surface. The model is based upon two key assumptions: the kinetic friction is constant regardless of the relative motion of the subsystems, and the elastic restoring force is uniform throughout each subsystem. The first assumption leads to the decoupling of the subsystems, and the behavior of each becomes mathematically analogous to that of a simple spring/mass/slider-block model, owing to the second assumption. The theory agrees well with the experimental data from the dynamic measurements of stick-slip. The displacement-time function is of cosine form, the rise time of stick-slip is constant, and the relation between force drop and average displacement rate is linear. From this model we argue that the differences in the frictional behavior of experimental fault-gouges may indeed be ascribed to differences in the material properties of their specimens because the elastic and inertial properties of a particular testing machine are little influenced by the specimen itself, so long as all specimens are of about the same size. However, interlaboratory correlations may well be invalid unless machine effects are properly accounted for.  相似文献

基于室内模型试验,就闭合型与单片地下连续墙基础在竖向承载性能上的差异进行了对比分析,并采用FLAC-3D软件进行数值分析来丰富室内模型试验,探讨了土体变形模量、密度、内聚力以及内摩擦角对闭合型地下连续墙竖向承载力的影响。结果表明:闭合型地下连续墙基础外侧摩阻力的发挥过程与单片地下连续墙基础大致相同,但由于土芯的存在,其内侧摩擦阻力发挥机理更复杂;闭合型与单片地下连续墙基础均可视为端承摩擦型基础;随着墙周土变形模量的增加,闭合型地下连续墙基础竖向位移显著减少,墙体轴力也减少;密度对闭合型地下连续墙基础沉降的影响不显著;内聚力对侧摩擦阻力的影响程度受地下连续墙和土体之间相对位移量的控制;只有闭合型地下连续墙基础的沉降量超过20 mm时,土体内摩擦角才对基础的竖向承载力有较大影响。  相似文献

Soil–structure frictional resistance is required while designing foundation systems and retaining walls. Although much more attention has been paid in recent years regarding soil–structure interaction for dynamic loading, highly conservative values of the static frictional resistance between soil and structure are used in design. Not much emphasis has been given lately to evaluate static frictional resistance between soil and structure. In this study, a well graded sand, as per USCS classification system, was prepared in the laboratory at different relative densities and moisture contents i.e. dry and saturated, and frictional resistances of those soils were measured. Those soil samples were also sheared against wood, concrete, and steel blocks and corresponding soil–structure frictional resistances were measured. Moreover, similar experiments were performed for saturated and loose poorly graded sand (SP), silty sand (SM) and poorly graded sand with silt (SP–SM). The study result shows that the difference between frictional resistance of soil and skin friction depends on the type of soil, relative density and the moisture content. Interestingly, shear envelopes for soil–soil and soil–structure shearing resistance exhibited curvature. The traditionally adopted soil–structure frictional resistance values adopted by various geotechnical manuals were found to be highly conservative.  相似文献

The paper of Reid and Whitaker (1976) on the effects of a vegetation canopy on flow of water is re-examined. Their assumptions on the equality of various drag coefficients are replaced by more realistic calculations. A new method for calculating wind stress on water is presented for the case when the vegetation extends above the water surface.For the case of vanishingly small water depth, it is shown that the horizontal stress is approximately constant in the vertical. This results in a diagnostic relationship for the water current as a function of the wind stress and bottom roughness.A new expression for the vertically averaged frictional force per unit mass is derived on the assumption that the friction velocity varies linearly with height. The vertical rate of change of friction velocity depends on the mean water current, the wind stress, the bottom roughness, and the water depth. This work has a possible application in the mitigation of storm surges.  相似文献

If the free vertical movement of the upper rigid part of the shear box is hindered during shearing, a frictional force is mobilized between the specimen and the vertical walls of the shear box. This causes either unloading (for contractant soils) or additional loading (for dilatant soils) of the specimen during shearing. If no correction of the applied vertical load with respect to the wall friction is taken into account, the resulting shear strength can be either underestimated (for contractant soils) or overestimated (for dilatant soils). For example, in a particular investigation of a normally consolidated soil, the measured friction angle from a direct shear test was almost 8° smaller than the angle from a triaxial test. This paper, therefore, presents a method for direct measurement of the frictional force at the contact between the vertical walls of the box and a fine-grained soil. If the wall friction is taken into account, the friction angle from the shear box coincides well with the angle from triaxial tests. If the wall friction cannot be measured during the test, a sufficiently large vertical gap should be adjusted in case of soft soils, in order to enable non-restrained settlement of the upper part of the box during specimen contraction.  相似文献

岩石摩擦滑动的力学行为能够很好地用速率和状态依赖性摩擦本构关系来描述。在速率和状态依赖性本构关系中,速度依赖性参数a-b是控制摩擦滑动稳定性的重要参数。且a-b<0是断层上不稳定滑动成核的必要条件。为了进一步研究控制摩擦滑动的矿物成分因素,在已有辉长岩摩擦滑动实验结果的基础上,对辉长岩中主要矿物(斜长石和辉石)在不同加载条件下进行了3个系列的摩擦滑动实验研究。通过对实验结果的分析得到如下结论:(1)斜长石断层泥在实验温度范围内(<617℃)显示速度强化,且在大于450℃的高温区其速度依赖性参数a-b随温度的增大而增加。辉石断层泥的实验显示其有利于速度弱化滑动行为的出现,是造成辉长岩在615℃出现速度弱化的原因。(2)斜长石与辉石断层泥的摩擦强度都没有随温度的增加而显著变化。辉长岩断层泥的摩擦强度(1.83mm滑动位移处的值)为斜长石与辉石断层泥摩擦强度按体积百分比加权的平均值(摩擦系数精确到2位有效数字一致)。这一结果表明,辉长岩断层泥的应力支承结构可以抽象为一种双组分并列单元模型。(3)尽管前人研究结果表明石英控制了花岗岩的摩擦特性,但是某种主要矿物对岩石整体摩擦滑动性质的控制作用并不具有普适性。对于中性岩、基性岩而言,不能以一种主要矿物(如斜长石等)来判断岩石整体的摩擦滑动稳定性,否则会导致错误结论。  相似文献

2008年汶川发生MS8.0级地震,此次地震触发了大约20万处滑坡,其中大光包滑坡是汶川地震触发的最大规模的滑坡,其复杂的高速远程运动机理引起了国内外学者的广泛关注。本文结合热分解及动态结晶将地震中断层间摩擦弱化机制(闪速加热导致热分解及粉末润滑)运用于大光包滑坡高速远程运动的模拟。本文通过修改非连续变形分析(DDA)程序中强度参数的输入方式,以基于速度变化的强度参数取代原DDA程序中的常数强度参数,进而实现了摩擦系数随接触两侧相对速度变化的动态调整。运用修改后的DDA对大光包滑坡的运动过程进行模拟。模拟结果表明滑床摩擦弱化是导致大光包滑坡高速远程运动特征的重要原因,修改后的DDA由于考虑了滑床摩擦弱化能够更加合理地模拟滑坡的高速远程运动特征,本文模拟的大光包滑坡在地震作用下失稳后,由于滑床摩擦弱化,更多的能量转化为动能,高速滑体掠过黄洞子沟后,爬上对面的平梁子,最终由于平梁子的“急刹车”作用,滑体停止运动。与修改前DDA相比,修改后的DDA对大光包滑坡运动过程和最终堆积形态的模拟结果与已有文献记载和野外调查结果相吻合。这也间接证明了大光包滑坡滑动过程中由于白云岩间摩擦闪速加热导致热分解及粉末润滑造成的摩擦系数降低,可能是造成大光包滑坡高速远程运动的重要原因。  相似文献

选择广泛分布于岩溶地区的黄壤,通过对室内三轴剪切试验,测定含水率和干密度交互作用对土壤抗剪强度指标的影响。试验表明:(1)在相同干密度情况下,黄壤粘聚力c随着含水率的增加呈现出先增加后减小的趋势,在相同土壤含水率水平下,粘聚力c随干密度增大而增大;黄壤内摩擦角φ在各干密度条件下均随着含水率增加呈明显减小的趋势,衰减速率基本一致;同一含水率水平下,内摩擦角φ随干密度变化不明显,土壤干密度为1.6g/cm3内摩擦角相对较大。(2)含水率和干密度的交互作用对黄壤粘聚力c有显著影响,粘聚力c在1.3~1.7g/cm3范围内随着干密度的增大而增大,且每一个干密度都有一个特定含水率与之对应,在这样一个交互作用下粘聚力c达到最大。(3)含水率和干密度的交互作用对内摩擦角φ影响相对较小,同一干密度下,其φ值差异不大,随干密度的增大缓慢增大,相对而言,含水率对内摩擦角φ的影响更明显,黄壤内摩擦角φ随含水率的增大呈非线性下降。   相似文献

Contact between stiff structural elements and soil is encountered in many applications in geotechnical engineering. Modelling of such contact is challenging as it often involves impact that would lead to large deformation and failure of the soil. The Material Point Method (MPM) is a mesh‐free method that has been applied to simulate such phenomena. However, the frictional contact algorithm commonly used in MPM only supports Coulomb friction and cannot model fully or partially rough contact conditions in terms of geotechnical engineering. Moreover, because of very different stiffness of contacting materials, the contact force predicted by the previous frictional contact algorithms usually suffers from severe oscillation when applied in structure–soil interaction. This paper presents a new contact algorithm, termed Geo‐contact, designed for geotechnical engineering. In Geo‐contact, a penalty function is incorporated to reduce the oscillation in contact computation, and a limited shear stress is specified along the contact interface. The proposed Geo‐contact algorithm has been implemented to simulate smooth, partially rough and rough contact in typical large deformation penetration problems. The resistance–displacement curves obtained using the Geo‐contact are compared with analytical solutions of limit analysis and large deformation finite element results to verify the accuracy and robustness of the proposed contact algorithm. 为确定桩间黄土卸荷湿陷过程中卸荷量的合理取值,开展桩−土界面大型剪切试验,研究桩间黄土卸荷湿陷状态下桩−土界面剪切强度、剪切位移及桩−土界面法向力之间的相关关系。结果表明:在桩间土中性点深度范围内,不同竖向应力和含水率状态下的桩−土界面剪切强度可代表桩侧负摩阻力。利用卸荷量与桩侧负摩阻力互为作用力与反作用力的力学原理,并在分析卸荷量随湿陷深度和湿陷进程变化规律的基础上,提出黄土卸荷湿陷过程中卸荷量计算方法,通过对比卸荷量计算值与不同黄土地区桩侧负摩阻力现场实测值,以验证其合理性。该方法不仅为科学评价黄土卸荷湿陷特性提供卸荷作用量化手段,还为相关黄土工程的优化设计提供理论参考依据。  相似文献

顶管顶力是由迎面阻力和侧摩阻力组成的,影响顶力的因素很多.分析已有摩阻力计算公式后,给出了圆形断面和方形断面管节的摩阻力计算结果不同的原因.现有的摩阻力计算公式存在一些问题,对于土质较好和埋深够大,能够形成压力拱时的摩阻力计算不合理,在实际工程中,摩阻力并不是随埋深无限增加的.从压力拱理论出发,求出管节外壁土压力的分布,对侧摩阻力计算公式稍作改进.通过算例比较,能形成压力拱时,按照本文公式计算的结果比较合理.  相似文献
