West Bohemian earthquake swarms are used to determine the parameters of simple homogeneous velocity models of the individual subregions of the given area, based on a group of earthquakes that occurred in these subregions. The grid search method is used for location. Models yielding the minimum sum of squares of the travel-time residua in locating the whole group of earthquakes in the given subregion are considered suitable. Relocation obtained by grid search is compared with that obtained by the FASTHYPO method. The computations indicate that the subregions under consideration can be, from the point of view of earthquake location, sufficiently represented by homogeneous models, but the models differ for the data from different subregions. The velocities of these models are given. The models under consideration are compared with some of the previously published 1-D models of the broader region of Western Bohemia.  相似文献

A new robust and effective optimization algorithm – isometric algorithm – was used for the inversion of layered velocity models, with constant gradient in each layer, to find suitable 1-D models for the location of microearthquakes in the individual four subregions of the West Bohemian earthquake swarm region. Models which are considered as optimal yield the minimum sum of the absolute values of the travel-time residua in locating the whole group of earthquakes in the given subregion. The results obtained from the inversion of P and S waves and from P waves only are shown. For comparison, optimum homogeneous models derived by the grid search method, again using both P and S waves and P waves only, are given. The computations indicate that the models for the individual subregions differ from each other. For layered models the differences are more pronounced, as expected, in the upper parts, down to depths of about 5 km. In comparison with the subregions Nový Kostel and Plesná, the P and S wave velocities for subregion Lazy are relatively higher and the P and S velocities for subregion Klingenthal relatively lower. In the lower parts the differences are smaller and the velocities have practically identical gradients. The highest velocities were obtained for subregion Lazy and the lowest velocities for subregion Klingenthal, as well for the homogeneous models. The model that represents the whole swarm region was determined in a similar way. This model is compared with the previously published velocity-depth distribution, obtained from DSS profile VI/70 in the vicinity of the area under study.  相似文献

Vertical vibration of an embedded rigid foundation in a poroelastic soil   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
This paper considers time-harmonic vertical vibration of an axisymmetric rigid foundation embedded in a homogeneous poroelastic soil. The soil domain is represented by a homogeneous poroelastic half space that is governed by Biot's theory of poroelastodynamics. The foundation is subjected to a time-harmonic vertical load and is perfectly bonded to the surrounding half space. The contact surface can be either fully permeable or impermeable. The dynamic interaction problem is solved by employing an indirect boundary integral equation method. The kernel functions of the integral equation are the influence functions corresponding to vertical and radial ring loads, and a ring fluid source applied in the interior of a homogeneous poroelastic half space. Analytical techniques are used to derive the solution for influence functions. The indirect boundary integral equation is solved by using numerical quadrature. Selected numerical results for vertical impedance of rigid foundations are presented to demonstrate the influence of poroelastic effect, foundation geometry, hydraulic boundary condition along the contact surface and frequency of excitation.  相似文献

江南古陆是扬子板块与华夏板块长期活动拼贴而成,构造极为复杂,地层的划分与对比也是众说纷纭。通过对江南古陆的变质岩的研究,认为江南古陆大地构造可划分三个Ⅰ级构造地层区:扬子地层区、江南古陆地层区及华夏地层区。江南古陆地层区又可进一步划分Ⅱ级构造地层区5个(宜丰-景德镇-歙县构造地层分区、万年构造地层分区、赣东北构造地层分区、怀玉构造地层分区及丰城-鹰潭-龙游构造地层分区);各构造地层分区之间以构造(蛇绿)混杂岩亚带或韧性剪切带相拼接。双桥山群及周潭岩群仅分别分布在扬子地层区修水-祁门分区及华夏地层区北武夷地层分区内,而且是一套史密斯地层。而江南古陆内则发育非史密斯地层。  相似文献

An approximate method for the analysis of the dynamic interaction between a flexible rectangular foundation and the soil with consideration of the out-of-plane deformation of the foundation is presented. The procedure is based on an extension of the subdivision method developed by Wong and Luco for rigid foundations. Numerical results describing the influence of the flexibility of the foundation on the vertical and rocking impedance functions and on the contact stresses between the foundation and the soil are presented. The possibility of representing a flexible foundation by an equivalent rigid foundation having the same force-displacement relationships is also discussed. The results obtained indicate that at low frequencies, the dynamic stiffness coefficients for flexible foundations are lower than those for a rigid foundation of the same area. At higher frequencies the opposite behaviour is observed. The radiation damping coefficients for flexible foundations are significantly lower than those for a rigid foundation of the same area.  相似文献

三江地区位于青藏高原东南缘,川滇菱形块体的西侧.受陆-陆板块碰撞作用的影响,构造活动强烈,地震活动频繁.为研究该区的应力环境、构造特征及二者间的关系,本文使用三江流动线性地震台阵SL-Array(2016-12—2017-05)和国家固定地震台网(2015-01—2017-12)记录到的地震波形资料,运用剪切波分裂分析技术研究三江地区上地壳各向异性研究.计算得到该区域快剪切波优势偏振方向为NNW向,与区域主压应力方向一致.结果显示各向异性特征有分区性,以维西—乔后断裂和小金河—丽江断裂为界,将线性台阵划分为A、B和C三个区域.A区快波优势偏振方向表现出与区域主压应力方向的一致性.B区局部构造复杂,快波优势偏振方向表现为近NS向.C区结果比较离散,无明显快波优势方向.自西向东,研究区域快波优势偏振方向表现为NNW至近NS向的变化趋势.计算得到研究区域慢剪切波时间延迟为2.8±1.7 ms·km-1,其中B区最大,A区最小,反映了该区地壳介质各向异性强度的不均匀分布,也揭示了区域构造复杂程度与地震各向异性强度的关系.  相似文献

An approximate numerical procedure for calculation of the harmonic force-displacement relationships for a rigid foundation of arbitrary shape placed on an elastic half-space is presented. This procedure is used to evaluate the vertical, rocking and horizontal compliance functions for rigid rectangular foundations and the vertical compliance for a rigid square foundation with an internal hole. The exact analytical solution for the vertical displacement at the center of the surface of an elastic half space under an impulsive loading having the same spatial distribution as the contact stresses arising underneath a smooth, rigid disk when subjected to a static, vertical load, is obtained using Eason's method. The solution can be used to study the dynamical interaction and contact problems between soil and structures and can also be used to assess numerical computations with a finite element or boundary element program.  相似文献

In this paper, results of a detailed investigation on the dynamic response of rigid strip foundations in viscoelastic soils under vertical excitation are presented. An advanced boundary element algorithm developed by incorporating isoparametric quadratic elements and a sophisticated self-adapting numerical integration scheme has been used for this investigation. Foundations supported on three types of soil profiles, namely, homogeneous half-space, stratum-over-half-space and stratum-over-bedrock are considered. The influence of material properties like Poisson's ratio and material damping as well as the influence of geometrical properties such as depth of embedment and layer thickness are studied. 根据主要构造分布、震源机制解分布及地震活动状况,将中国大陆及邻区分成20个单元,6个区。利用中国地震局地球物理研究所提供的地震目录,计算近百年来各单元和各区的6级以上强震释放应变能,做出时间滑动后的应变能—时间曲线图,分析认为:(a)中国大陆及邻区百年来的强震活动是一个复杂的时空动态过程,每个区、带有其高、低潮,然而各地区没有统一的地震释放应变能高潮与低潮;(b)强震的活动与平静只是相对而言的,没有绝对的活动或平静;(c)微动态期划分较好的体现了强震活动特征,每个微动态期内至少有一个高潮期,且强震集中在一个主体地区内发生,各搬动态期的能量可以有起伏。通过进一步的讨论和分析,提出中国大陆地壳变形主要受三方面因素的控制:(1)印度板块、太平洋板块和菲律宾板块的活动及其变化控制中国强震活动图像的总体格局;(2)大陆地壳结构的非均匀性及其变化影响了主体地区的形态结构;(3)地壳形变的继承性影响强震活动主体地区形成与变迁的过程。  相似文献

The dynamic response of contacting fluid and fluid-saturated poroelastic half- spaces to a time-harmonic vertical point force or a point pore pressure is investigated. The solutions are formulated using the boundary conditions at the fluid-porous medium interface. The point load solutions are then used to solve the dynamic problem of the vertical vibration of a rigid disc (both permeable and impermeable discs are included) on the surface of the poroelastic half-space. The contact problems are solved by integrating the point force and point pore pressure solutions over the contact area with unknown discontinuous force and pore pressure distributions, which are determined from the boundary conditions. The solutions are expressed in terms of dual integral equations, which are converted to Fredholm integral equations of the second kind and solved numerically. Selected numerical results for the vertical dynamic compliance coefficient for the cases with or without fluid overlying the poroelastic half-space are presented to show the effects of the fluid. The influence of the permeability condition of the disc on the compliance of the poroelastic half-space is investigated. The displacement, vertical stress, pore pressure in the poroelastic half-space and water pressure in the fluid half-space are also examined for different poroelastic materials and frequencies of excitation. The present results are helpful in the study of the dynamic response of foundations on the seabed under seawater.  相似文献

The response of rectangular rigid footings resting on an elastic soil of shear modulus decreasing monotonically with depth is studied. Such profiles are typically encountered after ground improvement. The propagation characteristics of SV/P surface waves are investigated, showing the appearance of cut-off frequencies above which surface waves do not exist. The semi-analytical method of the subdivision of the footing/soil contact area is then used for solving the boundary value problem, whereby the influence functions for the sub-regions are determined by integration of the corresponding surface-to-surface Green׳s functions. Impedance functions are presented over a wide range of frequencies for typical values of the non-homogeneity parameters, the Poisson׳s ratio and the foundation geometry. The salient features that are associated with the non-homogeneity and the appearance of cut-off frequencies are elucidated.  相似文献

This study is concerned with the dynamic response of an arbitrary shaped rigid strip foundation embedded in an orthotropic elastic soil. The foundation is subjected to time-harmonic vertical, horizontal and moment loadings. The boundary-value problem related to an embedded foundation is analysed by using the indirect boundary integral equation method. The kernel functions of the integral equations are displacement and traction Green's functions of an anisotropic elastic half plane. Exact analytical solutions are used for the Green's functions. The boundary integral equation is solved by using numerical techniques. Selected numerical results are presented for the impedances of rectangular and semi-circular rigid strip foundations embedded in four types of anisotropic soils. A discussion on the influence of soil anisotropy and frequency of excitation on the impedances is presented. The versatility of the analysis is demonstrated by considering the through soil interaction between two semi-circular strip foundations.  相似文献

Estimates of contaminant fluxes from DNAPL sources as a function of time and DNAPL mass reduction are important to assess the long-term sustainability and costs of monitored natural attenuation and to determine the benefits of partial source removal. We investigate the accuracy of the upscaled mass transfer function (MTF) proposed by Parker and Park [Parker JC, Park E. Modeling field-scale dense nonaqueous phase liquid dissolution kinetics in heterogeneous aquifers. WRR 2004;40:W05109] to describe field-scale dissolved phase fluxes from DNAPL sources for a range of scenarios generated using high-resolution 3-D numerical simulations of DNAPL infiltration and long-term dissolved phase transport. The results indicate the upscaled MTF is capable of accurately describing field-scale DNAPL dissolution rates as a function of time. For finger-dominated source regions, an empirical mass depletion exponent in the MTF takes on values greater than one which results in predicted mass flux rates that decrease continuously with diminishing DNAPL mass over time. Lens-dominated regions exhibit depletion exponents less than one, which results in more step-function like mass flux versus time behavior. Mass fluxes from DNAPL sources exhibiting both lens- and finger-dominated subregions were less accurately described by the simple MTF, but were well described by a dual-continuum model of the same form for each subregion. The practicality of calibrating a dual-continuum model will likely depend on the feasibility of obtaining spatially resolved field measurements of contaminant fluxes or concentrations associated with the subregions using multilevel sampling or some other means.  相似文献

On the basis of some simplifying assumptions, a parametric analysis is made of the interaction effects on the effective period and damping of structures with embedded foundation in a soil layer. A simplified three-dimensional interaction model is used, in which the depth of a cylindrical foundation, the degree of contact between the ground and the footing walls and the depth of a homogeneous stratum over rigid rock are considered variable. The soil is replaced with impedance functions that are taken from a data base obtained with an appropriate numerical technique, so that suitable springs and -pots dependent on the excitation frequency are used. The system period and system damping are determined from the steady-state response of an equivalent single oscillator with flexible base subjected to a harmonic motion with constant amplitude, by equating its resonant response with that of a replacement oscillator with rigid base excited with the same motion. The influence of the foundation embedment and soil layer is investigated for several depths of both the footing and the stratum.It is confirmed that the system period decreases and the system damping increases with the foundation embedment only for sidewalls extending along the entire foundation depth. For embedded footings without sidewall or with sidewall in null contact with the surrounding soil, the effective system parameters behave opposite to those corresponding to the interface condition of total contact. Also, the system damping increases significantly with the layer depth, while the system period is practically insensitive to variations of this characteristic parameter. Finally, introducing additional permissible simplifications, an improved approximate solution for the effective period and damping of coupled systems is presented, which differs from previous analogous approximations in that damping factors of second order are not neglected and the foundation depth is explicitly considered.  相似文献

-- A study of 1983 and 1993 tsunami events in the East (Japan) Sea using multigrid dynamically-interfaced finite difference models was performed to produce detailed features of coastal inundations along the eastern coast of Korea. The computational domain is composed of several subregions with different grid sizes connected in parallel or inclined directions. The innermost subregion represents the coastal alignment reasonably well and has a grid size of about 30 meters. Numerical simulations have been performed in the framework of shallow-water equations (linear, as well as nonlinear) over the plane or spherical coordinate system, depending on the dimensions of the subregion. Results of simulations show the general agreements with the observed data of the runup height for both tsunamis. The evolution of the distribution function of tsunami heights is studied numerically and it shows a tendency to the log-normal curve for a long distance from the source.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation on the rocking behavior of rigid blocks. Two types of test specimens have been tested, namely M and C types. Nine blocks of the M type and two blocks of the C type with different aspect ratios were tested with varying initial rotational amplitudes and with different materials at the contact interface, namely concrete, timber, steel, and rubber. The results showed that the interface material has significant influence on the free rocking performance of the blocks. Blocks tested on rubber had the fastest energy dissipation followed by concrete and timber bases, respectively. Analysis of the test results has shown that the energy dissipation in the case of tests on a rubber base is a continuous mechanism whereas in the case of tests on rigid bases, i.e. timber and concrete, energy dissipation is a discrete function. Finally, the rocking characteristics of the blocks were calculated using piecewise equations of motion and numerical analysis. The vertical and rocking response of rigid rectangular foundations resting on a linear-elastic, compressible, non-homogeneous half-space soil model is studied. The non-homogeneity is described by a continuous yet bounded increase of shear modulus with depth. The mixed boundary value problem is solved by means of the semi-analytical method of the subdivision of the foundation/soil contact area whereby the influence functions for the sub-regions are determined by integration of the corresponding surface-to-surface Green's functions for the particular soil model. Impedance functions are given for representative values of the non-homogeneity parameters, the Poisson's ratio and the foundation geometry over a wide range of frequencies. 统计分析低纬度环球带(E带)和环太平洋带(P带)在1900~2008年间MW≥7.5地震的时空分布,进一步证实两者本身和两者之间都存在15~18年的幕式交替活动. 将这两大地震带分别划分为5个地震区,发现这些分区地震幕式活动互不相同, 但E带各区奇数幕与偶数幕年均地震数之比OER均大于1.58, 而P带各区的OER均小于0.93, 显示出前者以奇数幕活跃为特征, 后者以偶数幕活跃为特征. 对这些地震区的组合分析进一步证明,从幕式活动的共性看, 中太平洋地区宜纳入E带. 本文推论:低纬度环球带是另一条全球尺度地震带;大地震幕式活动的成因应归因于板块运动有几十年时间尺度的非平稳幕式运动;未来5~8年, E带的大地震还会比P带多.  相似文献
