桂林是世界著名的岩溶区,洞穴沉积物极其发育,是研究第四纪古环境变化很理想的区域,但因岩溶沉积物中铀含量极低,大大地增加了分析测试的难度。本文通过几年的摸索和与其它方法的对比研究,对低铀含量的石笋样品α- U系测年取得了较为成功的经验,并为桂林20万年石笋记录古环境重建提供了可靠的年龄数据系列。   相似文献

岩溶石漠化的形成演化机制是被关注的科学问题,对脆弱的岩溶区生态环境恢复具有重要的现实意义。洞穴石笋δ13C受到多种因素影响,能敏感响应地表生态环境以及岩溶水文条件的变化。因此,利用石笋δ13C研究岩溶地区生态环境演变历史成为一个重要方向。本文从地表环境和洞穴沉积两个方面梳理了影响石笋δ13C的主要因素。结合现代洞穴监测及模型模拟研究,分析整理了影响洞穴滴水和沉积物中δ13C的主要因素和机理。在多重因素的影响下,石笋δ13C的环境意义具有多解性,文章从时间尺度、空间分布、沉积环境三方面归纳了石笋δ13C的指示意义。为了准确解释石笋δ13C环境意义,提出了综合分析、现代监测以及模型模拟的解决方案。通过对岩溶石漠化概念、成因、发展过程、以及环境效应的讨论,分析了地表石漠化与石笋δ13C记录的密切联系。总结了已经发表的利用石笋δ13C重建区域石漠化的研究成果,讨论了目前研究中面临的主要问题:(1) 如何正确解译石笋δ13C的指示意义?这是石笋δ13C能够用于重建区域石漠化历史的前提;(2) 在空间上,石笋δ13C记录反映上覆地表的面积是有限的,需考虑石笋能否代表目标研究区域的环境变迁;(3) 石漠化可在年—十年际时间尺度上快速发展,而石笋测年存在一定的年龄误差,石笋δ13C是否能够敏感记录地表的石漠化过程?为了准确重建区域岩溶环境以及石漠化演变历史,提出以下主要建议:(1) 为了避免石笋δ13C重建古环境的不确定性,可加强石笋δ13C与δ18O、微量元素、矿物结构等指标的综合对比分析,与现代监测以及模型模拟的解决方案综合集成,能更加准确重建研究区岩溶水文变化过程,判定石漠化的演化历史;(2) 通过区域和同一洞穴的多根石笋记录对比,减少单一石笋记录的区域代表性问题;(3) 高精度年代控制的高分辨率多指标石笋记录,有助于捕捉快速发生的石漠化过程。   相似文献

重庆丰都雪玉洞群包括羊子洞、雪玉洞和水鸣洞,西南大学的研究团队从2008年开始对雪玉洞群开展了系统的现代过程监测,以了解洞穴系统气候和环境信息的传输、转化和记录过程。通过对雪玉洞洞穴内外的大气、植被、土壤、基岩、滴水和洞穴沉积物等的动态监测,研究了碳酸盐沉积过程的水化学指标变化,揭示了现代洞穴滴水的影响因素和变化过程,以及碳酸盐沉积物对现代气候环境变化的响应,也为古气候的定量化研究提供了基础支撑。现代过程监测记录表明:雪玉洞CO2主要来源于上覆土壤,其季节变化受降水的影响较大;在短时间尺度上受到游客旅游活动的影响明显,但幅度远远小于自然过程引起的变化。雪玉洞内次生沉积物的沉积速率具有明显的旱季、雨季特征,不同滴水点下方沉积物的沉积速率变化较大。雪玉洞群三个洞穴的石笋古环境记录研究表明,本区石笋的230Th/232Th比值较适合高精度铀系测年;部分石笋沉积速率较快,平均沉积速率达到0.25 mm·a?1,可以开展高分辨率的气候和环境变化研究。羊子洞YZ1石笋的年龄范围在116~3 ka B.P.之间(平均测年精度2σ,269年),覆盖了整个末次冰期,δ18O和δ13C的变化曲线和东亚季风区的其他记录具有明显的一致性。同位素测试的时间分辨率平均为88年,成功记录了一些百年-千年尺度的气候突变事件,如Heinrich事件、7.2 ka事件、小冰期等。在精确年代学的基础上,雪玉洞群石笋具有重建高分辨率气候环境变化的潜力。   相似文献

哥本哈根气候大会的召开,使得近2 000年来的气候变化研究倍受关注。本文对气候变化石笋记录,尤其是我国近2 000年来气候变化石笋记录取得的主要成果进行了总结。已有研究的进展主要在于:发现在中国季风区石笋记录中存在近2 000年来的一系列气候事件,并对其进行了高分辨率重建;对地区热月温度进行了年分辨率的重建,以及通过集成研究发现了"环流效应"等等。但以往的研究仍存在石笋古环境代用指标机理、年代学以及区域代表性石笋记录研究不够等问题。为此,文中提出了加强年际分辨率氧同位素古环境机理,特别是大气降水到石笋的一整套迁移变化过程的研究,以及与其他古环境代用指标的响应机理进行综合研究,加强近2 000年来石笋年代学研究和加强区域性代表性石笋记录研究等建议。  相似文献

在系统介绍洞穴石笋高精度ICP-M S铀系年代学原理与方法的基础上,对贵州荔波县衙门洞Y1石笋进行了IC P-M S  230 Th测年研究。综合分析认为精确时标的建立对于利用石笋进行古气候重建具有重要的实际意义;采用ICP-M S 230 Th测年方法进行石笋样品定年准确可靠,并且比TIM S方法具有更高的效率,所需样品更微量。通过生长速率变化分析表明,石笋生长速率记录了过去冷暖突变事件,因此可以用它作为一个有意义的环境记录替代指标来研究古降水及古气候变化。   相似文献

中国南方地处热带、亚热带季风气候下,岩溶面积广阔,岩溶发育以地表峰林、峰丛、封闭洼地、地下大型洞穴和丰富的地表、地下次生化学沉积为特征;挪威北部现地处极地地带,岩溶发育以地下大型洞穴、岩溶大泉为主要特点,并有较丰富的地表微形态,但无宏观岩溶地貌,地表、地下次生化学沉积物也很少和很小。因此,对比两地现代环境下的岩溶发育特征,可为利用岩溶记录来重建古环境提供必要的理论基础。同时也表明,岩溶记录,尤其石笋的古环境信息解译需要综合考虑各种因素,包括气候、生态、水文等因素,并利用多种替代指标,以克服单一替代指标的局限性   相似文献

洞穴化学沉积物古环境重建是第四纪全球变化研究的一个热点。与其它陆地古环境信息载体相比,洞穴滴石石笋具有分布广、时间跨度大、生长机制对环境敏感、适用于U系测年等特点。本文从稳定同位素、石笋微层和微量元素等气候替代指标出发对该领域的研究现状进行了综述: 近年来,国内外在该领域的研究已取得了长足的发展,重建了不同地区不同时间尺度的古环境; 发现了气候变化过程中的一系列冷事件;探讨了东亚季风的演化规律。但仍然存在分辨率不高、研究缺乏系统性以及δ18O与温度的关系不统一等问题。针对这些不足,作者认为要进一步加强该领域的基础研究,寻找新的古气候指标,建立合理的指标体系等方面的工作。   相似文献

洞穴沉积物不仅具有旅游开发价值,而且蕴含了丰富的古气候环境信息,同时也是地震信息的存储器,是研究地震遗迹的良好材料。近10多年,在西南地区开展洞穴资源调研、古气候环境研究期间,观察到一些洞穴沉积物的特殊坍塌现象,以及2008年5月12日四川汶川8级地震中岩溶洞穴沉积物发生破裂、坍塌等现象,认为它们与地震密切相关。本文利用洞穴沉积物中保存或记录的新、老地震印迹、铀系测年数据等,来恢复史前的地震事件和史载资料未记录的地震事件,并对地震事件发生的时间、强度进行对比等。洞穴沉积物中记录的地震印迹可为研究地震历史提供对比证据,填补历史丢失的地震记录, 并能对未来地震的监测以及预报提供一个新的视角。   相似文献

The pattern, contents and ratios of Rare Earth Elements (REE) from marine carbonates play an important role in the paleo-environmental researches. As result of the REE's source being variable, which includes marine carbonates, detrital input and diagenesis, the overall assessment for the reliability of REE's data is necessary. Furthermore, appropriate analytical method is vital for the reliable contents of REE. This paper reviewed the geochemical properties, analytical and data processing methods, feasibility verification and paleo-environmental application of carbonates REE. The patterns of REE, which provide theoretical basis for the provenance and depositional environment of carbonates, are various with different sources. Cerium, as a redox sensitive element, is a key proxy for the reconstruction of paleo-redox conditions. There are two available analytical methods, acid-leaching method and direct LA-ICP-MS analytical method, to extract REE of seawater preserved in marine carbonate rocks. The contamination from detritus and diagenetic alteration can be detected by the correlations of various elements or element ratios. The REE of marine carbonate has been well applied to reconstruct the environment changes during the Precambrian, Permian-Triassic transition and Cenozoic.  相似文献

A primary step in the interpretation of speleothem stable isotope records (18O/16O and 13C/12C) is to conduct a comparison with other local palaeoclimate proxies. Here, two new master speleothem δ18O and δ13C records (one from eastern North Island, and the other from western/southern South Island, New Zealand) are evaluated against independent precipitation and temperature proxy information to assess their palaeoclimate reconstruction potential. This comparison also resulted in a serendipitous opportunity to reconstruct past circulation using climate regime classification [Lorrey, A.M., Fowler, A.M., Salinger, J., 2007a. Regional climate regime classification as a qualitative tool for interpreting multi-proxy palaeoclimate data spatial patterns: a New Zealand case study. Palaeo-3, in press], specifically because these two regional climate districts are hyper-sensitive to westerly circulation changes, and in many cases, exhibit contrasting climate character in response to circulation anomalies.For both the western South Island and the eastern North Island master speleothem δ13C records, variations tracked changes in relative regional precipitation. The δ18O master speleothem record for both regions varied with temperature change. Both records contain strong regional climate signals that suggest they have good value for palaeoclimate reconstruction. The ensuing attempt at a multi-proxy reconstruction of regional climate regimes from the compiled proxies indicates past circulation in the New Zealand sector has varied considerably during the past four millennia. Centennial-scale circulation changes for the past 4000 years are evident, and are analogous to modern Blocking, Zonal and Trough regime types [Kidson J. W., 2000. An analysis of New Zealand synoptic types and their use in defining weather regimes. International Journal of Climatology 20, 299–316] that characterise changes in present-day (prevailing) westerly circulation. This palaeoclimate reconstruction indicates modern regional climate regime classification can be extended at least as far back as the temporal coverage of the records presented here, and it can likely be improved on with better dating control and the addition of new records with higher resolution. It is also anticipated that future work will expand to include more proxy data from across New Zealand to improve the clarity of past climate regime occurrence for the Late Holocene.  相似文献

The Xining Basin,located on northeastern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau,is adjacent to the Qaidam Bsim and Gobi-desert.Therefore,thick,integrated deposits of loess or paleo-sol sequence were well developed.As is well known,there is much paleo-environmental information recorded in loess and plaeo-sol.So if we deal with paleo-environmental index from different an gles ,especially from loess geochemistry,some important and detailed paleo-environmental evolutional information will be acquired.Based on this,the authors determined the contents of Sr and Ca contained in acid-soluble fraction from the bottom to the top of the Panzishan section.This section was obtained through making a well about 17 m in depth,including S1 paleo-sol that was developed during the last interglacial period.According to the results,it is found that variations in contents of Sr and Ca are well correlated with conversion of loess and paleo-sol.In loess deposits,the contents of Sr and Ca are higher than those in paleo-sol deposits.It is known that loess was deposited under cold-dry climate conditions and paleo-sol was developed during warm-humid climate episodes.It is concluded that due to their mobile behaviors,under cold-dry climate conditions,Sr and Ca are stagnant during weak weathering,but under warm-humid climate conditions,Sr and Ca are easily leached and transported in aqueous solution.Therefore,they can be utilized as indicatiors of climate changes.Moreover,variations in contents of Sr and Ca are more sensitive than susceptibility.The mobile behaviors of Sr and Ca contained in acid-soluble fraction can serve as a new quantitative index to evaluate paleo-environmental changes on the plateau.  相似文献

A stepwise stalagmite sample screening process was applied in order to select a stalagmite as a sensitive recorder of recent tropical cyclone rainfall events near Belize. Field and laboratory criteria were combined in series, to screen out candidate stalagmites whose characteristics indicated lower sensitivity to stormwater infiltration. The approach described here was designed to increase the likelihood that selected stalagmites would increase the signal:noise ratio of the target phenomenon in the resulting proxy records. This four-stage method for sample selection may be an important methodological consideration for researchers attempting to use speleothems for stable isotope paleotempestology. Hallmarks of this approach include: (1) establishing a priori scientific targets, (2) applying sample criteria in the form of contra-indicators, and (3) organizing the sample screening protocol into a series of practical stages. The overall approach to stalagmite selection presented here supports cave conservation, and can be adapted readily by others in support of different scientific goals. It is hoped that other investigators will also publish field and laboratory sample selection schemes, as increased transparency will provide new information invaluable to replication efforts and to advancing the field of speleothem paleo-environmental studies.  相似文献

以往的研究中一般认为石笋δ13C变化的影响因素复杂,但在大多数报道中地表植被仍被认为是影响石笋δ13C变化的主要因素之一.本文综合国内外已发表的模拟试验研究结果及川东北地区已发表和未发表的石笋δ18O-δ13C数据,特别是Heinrich事件中石笋δ18O-δ13C的表现,指出地表植被不一定是影响石笋δ13C变化的主要因素,洞穴水文(如地下水流速、滴水速率、水文化学,等等)的变化可以解释通常观察到的石笋δ13C变化.植被变化的效应可以叠加在洞穴水文变化的效应上.洞穴系统的水文变化复杂性可能是造成石笋δ13C变化呈现较复杂特征的主要原因.  相似文献

洞穴碳酸盐沉积与其它自然材料相比 ,具有分布广 ,时间跨度大 ,生长机制对环境敏感 ,保存信息完整 ,适合于 U系测年等特点。可与海洋沉积物、冰芯、树轮相媲美。尤其是洞穴滴石石笋为大陆气候替代指标提供了一类独特的数据源。从稳定同位素地球化学、石笋微层、微量元素地球化学、洞穴碳酸盐结晶学和岩石学等方面论述了该领域的最新研究进展。如利用洞穴碳酸盐δ函数定量地分离出纯的温度信号 ;利用石笋碳同位素变化及草原与森林生态系统光合作用的差异特征 ,恢复草原 -森林间的演变过程 ,显示了其在全球变化研究中的重要地位和作用。  相似文献

近几年,在分辨率气候-环境变化研究中,洞穴碳酸盐微层逐渐受到人们重视。洞穴碳酸盐微层的类型较多,主要为年层。微层是在沉积条件发生高频率的周期性改变时形成的,要受到供水条件和碳酸钙浓度等多因素的控制。洞穴碳酸盐微层的稳定同位素组成,生长速率,微层结构与物质组分,微层厚度与灰度和光学特征等可以反映降水,温度,土壤成分及植被变化等信息。  相似文献

A landslide database for Nicaragua: a tool for landslide-hazard management   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:3  
A digital landslide database has been created for Nicaragua to provide the scientific community and national authorities with a tool for landslide-hazard assessment, emergency management, land-use planning, development of early warning systems, and the implementation of public and private policies. The Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales (Nicaraguan Geosciences Institute, INETER) began to compile the database in a digital format in 2003 as part of a comprehensive geographical information system for all types of geohazards. Landslide data have been obtained from a variety of sources including newspapers, technical reports, and landslide inventory maps. Inventory maps are largely based on fieldwork and aerial-photo analyses conducted by foreign development agencies in collaboration with INETER and other Nicaraguan institutions. This paper presents the sources of landslide information, introduces the database, and presents the first analyses of the data at national and regional scales. The database currently contains spatial information for about 17,000 landslides that occurred in mountainous and volcanic terrains. Information is mainly recorded for the period 1826–2003, with a large number of events that occurred during the disastrous Hurricane Mitch in October 1998. The oldest historical event is dated at 1570, some events are recorded as prehistorical, and other events have unknown dates of occurrence. Debris flows have been the most common types of landslides, both in volcanic and nonvolcanic areas, but other types, including rockfalls and slides, have also been identified. Intense and prolonged rainfall, often associated with tropical cyclones, and seismic and volcanic activity represent the most important landslide triggers. At a regional scale, the influence of topographic (elevation, slope angle, slope aspect) and lithologic parameters on the occurrence of landslides was analyzed. The development of the database allowed us to define the state of knowledge on landslide processes in the Nicaragua and to provide a preliminary identification of areas affected by landslides.  相似文献
