本文对某特大跨上承式铁路钢管混凝土拱桥建立“V”型河谷场地有限元动力计算模型,结合时空解耦的时域动力有限元方法,研究“V”型河谷场地效应对其地震响应的影响,并考虑地震入射角、行波速度及地震动峰值等因素对场地效应的影响。结果表明:海拔高且坡度均匀的地形使地震波在反射过程中能量增大,海拔较低且坡度下陡上缓的地形使地震波在反射过程中能量减少,“V”型河谷场地效应使大部分钢管混凝土拱圈截面内力测量值放大作用明显;“V”型河谷场地地形效应与地震波的入射角、行波速度及加速度峰值等因素均有关联,且CFST拱肋面外受弯抗震性能受行波速度的影响较大。因此,钢管混凝土拱桥抗震设计中应注意场地地形效应及行波速度的影响。  相似文献

为完善大跨长联连续梁桥的减震和隔震技术,提出将负刚度装置引入某带有摩擦摆支座隔震的大跨长联连续梁桥中组成新型减震和隔震系统。基于CSIBridge软件建立全桥有限元模型,负刚度装置采用弹性多段线模拟,摩擦摆支座采用双线性恢复力模型,输入7条地震波进行了非线性时程分析,考查了新型减震和隔震系统下桥梁结构的地震反应,探究了负刚度系统对大跨长联隔震连续梁桥地震反应的影响。研究结果表明:在大跨长联隔震连续梁桥上布置负刚度装置后,梁体加速度及支座位移可被有效降低,近场地震动下的墩底内力也有明显减小。负刚度装置可有效提高大跨长联摩擦摆支座连续梁桥的抗震性能,负刚度装置也适用于大跨长联隔震连续梁桥。  相似文献

Non-linear seismic responses are described for three prototype, long, multiple-span, reinforced concrete, modern highway bridge structures, namely the 5/14 South Connector Overcrossing and the curved Figueroa Street Under-crossing as designed by the California Department of Transportation, and a straight version of the Figueroa Street Undercrossing. The analytical seismic responses are discussed and are correlated with the apparent prototype behaviour experienced during the San Fernando, California, earthquake of 9 February 1971. In particular, the causes of collapse of the 5/14 South Connector Overcrossing are identified and examined. Finally, based on parameter studies of the seismic responses of these structures, general conclusions and recommendations related to seismic design methodology are presented.  相似文献

In the new trend of seismic design methodology, the static pushover analysis is recommended for simple or regular structures whilst the time‐history analysis is recommended for complex structures. To this end, the applicable range of the pushover analysis has to be clarified. This study aims at investigating the applicability of pushover analysis to multi‐span continuous bridge systems with thin‐walled steel piers. The focus is concentrated on the response demand predictions in longitudinal or transverse directions. The pushover analysis procedure for such structures is firstly summarized and then parametric studies are carried out on bridges with different types of superstructure‐pier bearing connections. The considered parameters, such as piers' stiffness distribution and pier–0.5ptdeck stiffness ratio, are varied to cover both regular and irregular structures. Finally, the relation of the applicability of pushover analysis to different structural formats is demonstrated and a criterion based on the higher modal contribution is proposed to quantitatively specify the applicable range. 众多研究表明,对大跨度结构进行抗震分析时,必须采用非一致地震激励模型。本文对带TMD系统的大跨度结构考虑地震行波效应后的随机地震响应问题进行了研究。文中建立了结构的动力方程,并利用虚拟激励法求解。研究结果表明,对于大跨度结构装设TMD子结构以后可显著地降低结构的位移、速度和加速度响应,但在设计TMD减震系统时,必须考虑到地震激励的非一致性,否则可能会使预期的减震效果失效。  相似文献

This paper carries out a parametrical study of the pounding phenomenon associated with the seismic response of multi‐span simply supported bridges with base isolation devices. In particular, the analyses focus on the causal relationship between pounding and the properties of a spatially varying earthquake ground motion. In order to include the effect of the torsional component of pounding forces on the seismic response of the whole structure, a three‐dimensional (3D) finite element model has been defined and 3D non‐linear time‐history analyses have been performed. A parametrical study on the size of the gaps between adjacent bridge decks has highlighted that the pounding effects are amplified when the spatially varying ground motion time histories at each support are considered. Because of a spatially varying input, the pounding forces can assume values 3–4 times larger than those derived by a conventional seismic analysis with uniform input or with spatial input but considering ground motion wave passage effect only. The numerical results show that in order to achieve an acceptably safe structural performance during seismic events, a correct design of the isolation devices should take into account the relative displacements calculated by means of a non‐linear time‐history analysis with multi‐support excitation. This paper presents the results of a shaking table study conducted on the seismic behaviour of curved reinforced concrete bridge structures of the type used in highway interchanges. A series of representational 1/30th scale models was constructed in microconcrete to study the effects of both linear and non-linear dynamic behaviour, the non-linearity including sliding and impacting at the expansion joints and ductility in the columns. Each model was subjected to a series of increasingly severe simulated earthquakes in the longitudinal and transverse directions, both with and without the vertical component. Response data were recorded in the form of selected displacement time-histories which were subsequently used as control data in a companion theoretical study. Each model was eventually taken to failure which consisted primarily of extensive damage at the expansion joints. The paper concludes with general observations on the seismic behaviour of long-span long-period curved bridges, and emphasizes the sensitivity of this behaviour to the location and design of the joints.  相似文献

Full-scale measurements are regarded as the most reliable method to evaluate wind effects on large buildings and structures. Some selected results are presented in this paper from the full-scale measurement of wind effects on a long-span steel roof structure during the passage of Typhoon Fanapi. Some fi eld data, including wind speed and direction, acceleration responses, etc., were continuously and simultaneously recorded during the passage of the typhoon. Comprehensive analysis of the measured data is conducted to evaluate the typhoon-generated wind characteristics and its effects on a long-span steel roof. The fi rst four natural frequencies and their vibration mode shapes of the Guangzhou International Sports Arena(GISA) roof are evaluated by the stochastic subspace identifi cation(SSI) method and comparisons with those from fi nite element(FE) analysis are made. Meanwhile, damping ratios of the roof are also identifi ed by the SSI method and compared with those identifi ed by the random decrement method; the amplitude-dependent damping behaviors are also discussed. The fullscale measurement results are further compared with the corresponding wind tunnel test results to evaluate its reliability. The results obtained from this study are valuable for academic and professional engineers involved in the design of large-span roof structures.  相似文献

Seismic response of a lightly reinforced stiff shear‐wall structure subjected to ground motions grouped as near‐ or far‐field according to their distance to causative faults is investigated. A model structure that had earlier been studied both experimentally and analytically in the context of a co‐ordinated research project is re‐examined. The structure is a five‐storey lightly reinforced shear‐wall model subjected analytically to 55 ground motion records from firm soil sites. Several response parameters are obtained by linear and non‐linear analyses. Additional analyses are performed to ascertain the validity and range of applicability of current approximate displacement‐based analysis procedures. The procedures considered in this study are found to be inadequate in representing the anticipated response of the structure employed here regardless of the type of excitation, so modifications are suggested for improved results. Aging bridges coupled with increasing traffic loads are producing a severe toll on the nation's infrastructure. This has made it necessary to take a closer look at the health of existing bridges and develop automated damage identification methods if possible. Recent works in the field of structural dynamics have shown that damage detection techniques utilizing parameters like mode shapes, modal frequencies and damping ratios can be used to identify damage in structural systems. It is, however, important to be able to establish a baseline model for the structure first, and then a model updating technique can be utilized to evaluate the condition of the structure from time to time. It is with this goal in mind that the authors have decided to establish the process for obtaining a baseline model for a long span bridge. Based on the actual design drawings of a bridge, finite element (FE) models of the bridge in question are developed using SDRC-IDEAS. Three models of the bridge are simulated using Normal Mode Dynamics solver in SDRC-IDEAS to obtain the modal parameters of interest, in this case the modal frequencies and the mode shapes. A modal assurance criteria (MAC) is utilized to compare the different simulated mode shapes and, finally, the modal frequencies that have been obtained from the FE analysis are compared to frequencies that have been obtained from some preliminary field tests.  相似文献

大跨结构静力与动力性能与结构能否安全服役密切相关。文章对某大跨钢网架结构进行了静载试验,并测试了各级堆载条件下网架竖向振动频率。试验中选择在其中一跨的接近中心处(挠度最大点)进行静载和动载试验。采用吊篮法在网架挠度最大点分别施加10kN和20kN配重,得到了加载处的竖向刚度;振动测试表明,该网架在脉动激励下振动卓越频率不明显,在冲击激励下可以得到较好的自由振动波形,并且卓越频率明显。振动测试数据分析中,考虑了各测点的相位关系,分别得到了无配重、10kN配重和20kN配重下钢网架竖向一阶振动频率,可用于设计阶段采用的分析结果的校核。  相似文献

In experimental modal testing, the measurement locations and the number of measurements have a major influence on the quality of the results. In general, there are several alternative schemes for sensor placement, and the accuracy of the data increases as the number of sensors utilized increases. However, the number of transducers that can be attached to a real structure is limited by economic constraints. Therefore, algorithms that address the issue of limited instrumentation and its effects on resolution and accuracy are important from the standpoint of experimental modal analysis. The authors are particularly interested in structural dynamics based damage evaluation of large structures, and the development and implementation of suitable sensor location algorithms are critical for such a problem. A kinetic energy optimization technique (EOT) has been derived, and numerical issues are addressed and applied to real experimental data obtained from a model of an asymmetric long span bridge. Using experimental data from the bridge model, the algorithm proposed in this paper is compared to Kammer's EIM algorithm, which optimizes the transducer placement for identification and control purposes.  相似文献

The paper investigates the applicability of current direct displacement based seismic design (DDBD) procedure, developed by Priestley and his coworkers, for straight long span bridges under transverse seismic excitation synchronous to all supports. This category of bridges often possess some additional features such as massive tall piers, highly irregular distribution of mass and stiffness due to unequal superstructure spans and pier heights, large deformation capacity etc. that are absent in short-to-moderate span bridges for which DDBD has extensively been verified. It is shown that DDBD in its current form is unable to capture both displacement and base shear demand when compared with nonlinear dynamic analysis results. Accordingly, a simple mechanics based extension of the current procedure that takes into account the effect of pier mass while computing base shear demand as well as a modal combination rule for estimating displacement demand is proposed and validated using a series of parametric studies. The new procedure also allows engineer to allocate strength at the potential plastic hinge location in more general terms.  相似文献

This paper investigates the 3D response of a slab supported by wobbling columns. The columns are not allowed neither to slide nor to roll out of their initial position. An analytical model is proposed, the equations of motion are derived, and they are solved numerically. The paper concludes that the addition of the slab makes the columns more stable. In fact, the system is almost equivalent to the response of a solitary column with the same aspect ratio yet larger size. However, it is also shown that the system is less stable than its planar counterpart and that planar analysis can only qualitatively describe the behavior of 3D structures. A case study shows that the concept could be used as a seismic isolation technique for bridges. However, more research need to be performed on defining proper intensity measures for uplifting structures, as it is shown that there is large record‐to‐record variability, even when intensity measures developed for rocking structures are used.  相似文献

The dynamic response of single span simply supported bridge decks subjected to the passage of vehicles is examined. A modal analysis approach is adopted that is based upon a finite strip idealization of the deck. The vehicle is modelled as a rigid body supported at two points by a suspension idealization that accounts for the effect of tyre stiffness and the frictional nature of real suspension systems. Results are presented for an orthotropic slab deck and a box girder deck that illustrate the effects of (i) the initial precompression of the suspension system as the vehicle enters the span, (ii) the ratio of the vehicle's natural frequency to that of the bridge deck and (iii) a bridge deck surface profile that is not perfectly horizontal.  相似文献
