We present new heat flow values and other geothermal data in the upper crystalline crust in the immediate vicinity of the 12.4-km deep Kola super-deep borehole, NW Russia. Our results show a systematic vertical increase in geothermal gradient and heat flow density as deep as we could measure (1.6 km). Our results confirm earlier results on vertical heat flow trends of in the uppermost part of the Kola super-deep hole, and imply that the thermal regime is not in steady-state conductive conditions. In an area of 3-km × 5-km measurements were performed in 1–2-km deep boreholes surrounding the Kola super-deep hole and on core samples from these holes. Temperature logs are available from 36 holes. Core data exists from 23 boreholes with a total length of 11.5 km at a vertical resolution of 10 m. We carried out a very detailed study on thermal conductivity with regard to anisotropy, inhomogeneity and temperature dependence. Tensor components of thermal conductivity were determined on 1375 core samples from 21 boreholes in 3400 measurements. Additionally, we measured specific heat capacity, heat generation rate, density, porosity, and permeability on selected subsets of core samples. Heat flow from 19 boreholes varies between 31 and 45 mW m−2 with an average value of 38 mW m−2. In most boreholes the vertical heat flow profiles show a considerable variation with depth. This is consistent with observations in the upper part of the Kola super-deep borehole. We conclude that this variation is not caused by technical operations but reflects a natural process. It is considered to be due to a combination of advective, structural and paleoclimatic effects. Preliminary 3-D numerical modeling of heat and flow in the study area provides an indication of relative contributions of each of these factors: advective heat transfer turns out to have a major influence on the vertical variation of heat flow, although transient changes in surface temperature may also cause a significant variation. 浅层地温能作为可再生能源,已经引起广泛关注。为了有效地监测南京市浅层地温场的时空演化,针对4种温度传感器:DTS、FBG、Pt100和iButton,通过野外和室内试验进行分析对比,从测温精度、适用范围、工作特性等方面展开研究。结合试验结果和目前的实际应用情况,总结出四种传感器在浅层地温场监测方面的优缺点和特性,并制定出一套较为完善的监测方案,为浅层地温场的长期时空监测提供参考:在所有钻孔中埋设分布式测温光纤,并根据地温钻孔的土层分布和所获取的地温分布数据,选取两个较为典型的地温钻孔布设FBG测温串;在所有钻孔点距地表5 cm处布设iButton,并使用Pt100监测地表以下25 m内的精确地温。根据已获得的监测数据,可总结出南京地区浅层地温在垂向上的大体分布规律,发现其分布在空间上具有差异性,浅地表地温与地表覆盖层、大气及太阳辐射有关,深部地温受地质构造和水文地质条件等因素控制。  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to estimate water seepage from the upper reservoir of Azad pumped storage power plant, based on combined geotechnical investigations and geostatistical methods. In order to select the optimum water tightening alternative, such as clay blanket, concrete cover (or concrete lining), geomembrane, asphalt cover, etc., estimation of water seepage from the reservoir is essential. Six exploratory boreholes were drilled at the pumped storage reservoir area and permeability tests (Lugeon tests) were conducted in all of them. Records at the boreholes have been considered as the main source for seepage calculations. Due to expansion of upper reservoir and a few boreholes, distribution of permeability and permeability changes in the reservoir area is not an indicator for reservoir. In this research using geostatistical method (Kriging), Lugeon values have been estimated for walls of reservoir. According to correspondence between estimated permeability distribution and geological conditions, the estimated values are acceptable. In addition, results show that in about 60% of tests, permeability is very high and potential of water seepage is very dangerous. Afterward, seepage was estimated for reservoir by using both analytical (Vedernikov method) and numerical method. Results from both methods are very close together and the average seepage is around 280,000 m3/day according to analytical and numerical results. Regarding results and general geological considerations, seepage is concentrated at fault zones. Results show that using appropriate permeability distribution, the estimated values of water seepage are acceptable and reliable. Due to the high amount of water seepage and economical value of water in this region, water tightening is necessary.  相似文献

We present a 3-D thermal model of the Larderello geothermal field (Tuscany) to evaluate (1) the extent and contribution of the heat transfer mechanisms (conduction vs. convection) at the intermediate-upper crust levels, (2) the variability of the heat and mass fluxes entering from below and (3) the crucial role of the formation permeability. The model, composed by three main layers, considers the upper 10 km of the crust to better constrain the simulations with experimental data from borehole, fluid inclusion studies and hypocentral distributions. Several sets of simulations were carried out with different bottom boundary temperatures and different formation permeabilities for the two deeper layers. The results indicate that the present temperature (T) and pressure distributions in the Larderello field require deep reservoir rocks with higher permeability than the overlying capping units and underlying intermediate crust. Permeability values of 1 mDarcy for the reservoir rocks are enough to allow fluid convection, if the temperature at 10 km depth is as high as 500 ± 50°C. The presence of localized zones with formation permeability 50–100 times higher than the surrounding rocks strongly favours the migration of over-pressurized fluids, which episodically break through the overburden, feeding the presently exploited geothermal fields.  相似文献

低透煤层增透效果的定量描述和评价一直处于盲目状态,使得煤矿瓦斯治理中致裂措施、瓦斯抽采不能因地制宜。增透率可反映采动或人工增透措施对煤岩体渗透特性的改变,并可定量评价煤层增透效果,其分布和演化规律可精准圈定瓦斯富集区域,指导瓦斯抽采钻孔的合理布置。在简化钻孔和裂隙模型基础上,求解了采动条件下钻孔的体积应变,提出了针对单孔的增透率计算方法;依托同煤矿塔山矿8212采面,开展现场裂隙探测试验,研究了工作面前方采动裂隙网络发育演化及卸压增透变化规律,并分析了单孔增透率随回采面推进的演化特征。结果表明:裂隙网络呈现“从无到有、从短变长、从窄变宽、不断贯通”的趋势,煤岩体单孔增透率随回采面推进呈现先逐渐上升后保持平稳的趋势,该成果有望直接优化煤矿现场瓦斯抽采孔的布置设计。  相似文献

以康定老榆林地区地热系统为研究对象,利用TOUGH-Isotope程序进行水-热-同位素耦合数值模拟,并鉴于研究区大气降水氢氧同位素季节性明显、地震活动活跃,探讨了补给水同位素特征、热储层渗透性变化对地热系统氢氧同位素迁移过程的影响.研究结果表明氢氧同位素模拟值与研究区ZK3钻孔流出水测试值基本拟合,高温地热系统的对流-弥散作用对氢氧同位素迁移过程影响明显;研究区地热水循环条件较好,水-岩作用程度较低,导致氧同位素重化现象不明显;补给水同位素特征、热储层渗透性两个因素对地热水循环过程中的氢氧同位素分布具有明显的影响.开展地热系统流体氢氧同位素迁移过程研究,有助于提高对地热系统动态演化的定量化认识,为地热开发提供支持.   相似文献

A Review of Some Rock Mechanics Issues in Geothermal Reservoir Development   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Rock mechanics and geomechanical studies can provide crucial information for economic geothermal reservoir development. Although significant progress has been made in reservoir geomechanics, technical challenges specific to the geothermal area (high temps, data collection, experimentation issues) have prevented widespread use of geomechanics in geothermal reservoir development. However, as the geothermal industry moves to develop more challenging resources using the concept of enhanced geothermal systems (EGS), and to maximize productivity from conventional resources, the need for improved understanding of geomechanical issues and developing specific technologies for geothermal reservoirs has become critical. Rock mechanics research and improved technologies can impact areas related to in-situ stress characterization, initiation and propagation of artificial and natural fractures, and the effects of coupled hydro-thermo-chemo-mechanical processes on fracture permeability and induced seismicity. Rock mechanics/geomechanics research, including experimental and theoretical investigations as well as numerical and analytical solutions, has an important role in optimizing reservoir design and heat extraction strategies for sustainable geothermal energy development. A number of major areas where rock mechanics research can facilitate geothermal systems development are reviewed in this paper with particular emphasis on EGS design and management.  相似文献

地热田温度场分析, 不仅为地热田类型划分和热源机理研究提供科学根据, 而且可以为确定地热田有利开采区域和深度提供直接依据。本文报道了咸阳地热田13口钻孔的系统(准)稳态测温数据, 对研究区温度的垂向分布特征做了初步分析, 并据此划分了地热田水动力系统。结果表明, 咸阳地热田属于以传导为主的沉积盆地型地热田, 地温梯度为26.2~40.1 ℃/km, 平均为32.4 ℃/km。然而, 与典型的传导型地热田相比, 咸阳地热田的地温场特征又存在特殊性, 表现为钻孔温度-深度曲线分段性明显: 浅部受地表水流动对温度场的影响, 地温曲线呈现出锯齿形波动; 钻孔中上部受地表水和深部水热活动影响较小, 温度曲线为传导性地热特征; 井孔中下部测温曲线明显"下凹", 揭示了地下水沿渭河断裂侧向补给的同时使地层温度降低; 井孔下部温度随深度异常增大, 表明存在异常压力流体封存箱。测温资料揭示了咸阳地热田水动力系统在垂向上存在多层结构: 浅部为垂向重力驱动型, 中上部为正常压实型, 中下部为侧向重力驱动型, 下部为封闭型。基于咸阳地热田水动力系统的多层结构, 建议将各系统赋存的地热资源分别进行规划和开发。  相似文献

In an exploration project, the placement of additional boreholes is based on the available information and engineering judgment, which may result in a lack of information or redundant information in decision making. This paper presents the use of dynamic multistage sampling to design directional and vertical boreholes to scan the subsurface. For this purpose, the potential collars of boreholes are determined within the survey area, while the imaginary boreholes in the form of cone sides cover the area's lateral surface area, and the concentric cones around the collars change with azimuth and dip angles. The objective function is a criterion used to determine the optimal borehole(s) and update the input borehole database in each stage; this iterative process continues until a stopping condition is satisfied. The presented algorithm was executed and validated on both synthetic and field data from the Eastern Kahang region in Iran. In the synthetic case, five additional boreholes were designated based on high grade and estimation error objectives that intersect two parts of the ore body. Ten proposed additional boreholes in the northeast region of Kahang coincided with the high grade copper mineralization zone.  相似文献

泥浆滤液侵入渗透性地层会改变井周地层流体的原始分布状态,使井周地层电阻率发生变化、储集层电测井响应失真。本文基于油水两相渗流理论和水对流扩散理论,应用数值模拟方法构建地层模型,研究低渗储层泥浆侵入过程中井周地层矿化度、含水饱和度、电阻率变化特征及井周油藏分布特征。对不同渗透率地层泥浆侵入的数值模拟结果表明:在低渗透储层,相同侵入时间内,随着地层渗透率的增加,泥浆侵入深度增加,且同一侵入深度的含油饱和度减小;随着侵入时间的增加,井周地层水矿化度、含水饱和度和地层电阻率的侵入剖面前缘均发生明显的变化。结合3口井的泥浆侵入数值模拟分析,发现阵列感应测井响应特征及其电阻率的幅度差异受泥浆侵入时间和侵入深度影响。不同流体性质层段的井周油藏动态演化规律模拟结果表明,井周油藏的变化情况与储层流体性质有明显关系。利用实例井侵入模拟结果与阵列感应测井响应的相关性,构建了侵入深度的计算公式;根据侵入阶跃剖面,利用几何因子理论构建了原始地层电阻率计算公式,用以辅助储层电阻率校正。正确认识井周地层泥浆侵入特征及井周油藏的分布情况有助于提高阵列感应测井评价储层的准确性。  相似文献

地热能规模化利用的可持续开发,通常需要建立数学模型,以实现定量管理和预测。文章评述OpenGeoSys(OGS)数值模拟软件及其在地热资源开发利用过程中的应用算例。OGS是一款基于有限元的免费开源软件,它可处理与地热能开发相关的水流场-温度场-力学场-化学场等多场耦合过程。OGS已应用在国内外多个地热场地,文中着重介绍它在浅层地热能的流体温度变化预测、水热型地热能开发过程中的采灌井距优化、结垢机理和干热岩开发过程中的渗透性演化等方面的应用算例,为地热能的开发提供计算手段和参考。  相似文献

以LYL井田为例,通过收集邻区地温资料及气象资料,结合井田勘探阶段中的简易测温、近似稳态测温,确定井田内恒温带及中性点的参数。首先应用3个钻孔的近似稳态测温建立区内井温恢复曲线模型,之后利用已建立的模型对不同类型的简易测温钻孔对井底温度进行校正,最后通过恒温点、中性点、校正后的井底恢复温度得出简易测温校正曲线的拟合方程,根据方程对所有简易测温钻孔测温结果进行校正,计算出所有钻孔的煤层底板地温及地温梯度,从而为研究井田内地温分布规律提供第一手资料。   相似文献

Vertical electrical sounding was used for assessing the suitability of the drill sites in crystalline areas within a water supply project in Nampula Province in Mozambique. Many boreholes have insufficient yield (<600 L/h). Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) was carried out over seven boreholes with sufficient yield, and five boreholes with insufficient yield, in Rapale District, in an attempt to understand the reason for the failed boreholes. Two significant hydrogeological units were identified: the altered zone (19–220 ohm-m) with disintegrated rock fragments characterized by intermediate porosity and permeability, and the fractured zone (>420 ohm-m) with low porosity and high permeability. In addition to this, there is unfractured nonpermeable intact rock with resistivity of thousands of ohm-m. The unsuccessful boreholes were drilled over a highly resistive zone corresponding to fresh crystalline rock and a narrow altered layer with lower resistivity. Successful boreholes were drilled in places where the upper layers with lower resistivity correspond to a well-developed altered layer or a well-fractured basement. There are a few exceptions with boreholes drilled in seemingly favourable locations but they were nevertheless unsuccessful boreholes for unknown reasons. Furthermore, there were boreholes drilled into very resistive zones that produced successful water wells, which may be due to narrow permeable fracture zones that are not resolved by ERT. Community involvement is proposed, in choosing between alternative borehole locations based on information acquired with a scientifically based approach, including conceptual geological models and ERT. This approach could probably lower the borehole failure rate.  相似文献

地热井与周围热储层的传热过程对地热井产热性能研究有重要意义。由于实际工程中在地热井周边布置测点较难,无法获取地热井周围热储层的参数变化,进而为地热热储模拟结果提供验证,故以往大多地热热储模拟仅将地热井作为源项处理,未考虑地热流体和储层的耦合流动换热。实验室条件下的模拟试验方便布置测点,可为热储-井筒耦合流动传热模型提供试验验证,其中如何实现实验室尺度下有温度梯度的模拟地层是试验研究的关键,目前尚未有类似研究。基于传热学基本原理,研究了实验室条件下有较高温度梯度多孔地层的快速实现方法,通过确定模拟热储层和热储盖层几何尺寸、优选填充多孔介质和实现恒定温度的模拟热储层,设计了一套实验室尺度下有高温度梯度的模拟地层系统,通过分层加热与边界动态热补偿方法,较快实现了热储层温度分别为60,65,70°C下模拟地层的线性温度分布,采用有限体积法得到的数值模拟与试验结果的相对误差在±2.5%范围内,二者吻合较好。文章设计搭建的模拟地层系统可为开展地热井筒-热储耦合模拟试验提供条件,进而为开发的地热热储-井筒耦合传热数值软件提供试验验证。  相似文献

基于黔西补作勘查区32口钻孔的简易测温资料,分析了勘查区浅部地温场的基本特征。研究发现,区内地温梯度在0.98~3.25℃/100m,平均2.07℃/100m,总体上属于正常地温场范畴;平面上变化较大,局部存在低温异常,在垂向上随着孔底深度增大,各钻孔地温梯度总体上趋于增高,但与埋深之间关系相对离散,钻孔温度曲线表现为两种基本形式。研究认为,断层构造控制了地温场的分布,地温异常带的展布方向反映区域构造的基本轮廓;地下水动力场微弱,对地温场影响不甚明显;地层岩性及埋深影响地温场的垂向分布。  相似文献

As renewable energy, geothermal can contribute substantially to the energy transition. To generate electricity or to harvest heat, high-saline fluids are tapped by wells of a few kilometres and extracted from hydrothermal reservoirs. After the heat exchanger units have been passed by, these fluids are reinjected into the reservoir. Due to the pressure and temperature differences between the subsurface and the surface, as well as the cooling of the fluids in the power plant, unwanted chemical reactions can occur within the reservoir, in the borehole, and within the power plant itself. This can reduce the permeability of the reservoir as well as the output of the geothermal power plant. This study aims to simulate real subsurface reactions using batch and leaching experiments with sandstone or sandstone powder as solid phase, and deionised water or natural brine as liquid phase. It is demonstrated that fluid composition changes after only a few days. In particular, calcite, aragonite, clay minerals, and zinc phases precipitate from the natural brine. In contrast, in particular minerals containing potassium, arsenic, barium, and silica are dissolved. Due to the experimental set-up, these mineral reactions mainly took place on the surface of the samples, which is why no substantial changes in petrophysical properties could be observed. However, it is assumed that the observed reactions on the reservoir scale have a relevant influence on parameters such as permeability.

Development of subsurface energy and environmental resources can be improved by tuning important decision variables such as well locations and operating rates to optimize a desired performance metric. Optimal well locations in a discretized reservoir model are typically identified by solving an integer programming problem while identification of optimal well settings (controls) is formulated as a continuous optimization problem. In general, however, the decision variables in field development optimization can include many design parameters such as the number, type, location, short-term and long-term operational settings (controls), and drilling schedule of the wells. In addition to the large number of decision variables, field optimization problems are further complicated by the existing technical and physical constraints as well as the uncertainty in describing heterogeneous properties of geologic formations. In this paper, we consider simultaneous optimization of well locations and dynamic rate allocations under geologic uncertainty using a variant of the simultaneous perturbation and stochastic approximation (SPSA). In addition, by taking advantage of the robustness of SPSA against errors in calculating the cost function, we develop an efficient field development optimization under geologic uncertainty, where an ensemble of models are used to describe important flow and transport reservoir properties (e.g., permeability and porosity). We use several numerical experiments, including a channel layer of the SPE10 model and the three-dimensional PUNQ-S3 reservoir, to illustrate the performance improvement that can be achieved by solving a combined well placement and control optimization using the SPSA algorithm under known and uncertain reservoir model assumptions.  相似文献

勘探区位于漳州市以东约40km处,属低丘陵剥蚀区及海积阶地,因区内开发程度高,地面普遍硬化。依据区内的地质、水文及构造资料,决定采用抗电磁干扰强的CSAMT法与施工较为便利的微动测深法勘测地下热源。通过分析隐伏储热构造在CSAMT法与微动测深法剖面图上的响应特征,确定波速相对较低且存在低阻异常区域为储热控水构造有利区。综合考虑野外施工条件,在CSAMT法1线与微动测深线交汇处钻孔验证,结果显示,孔底温度为30.9℃,出水量为1243.21m3/d,表明CSAMT法联合微动测深法可有效探测该地热资源。  相似文献
